Reviews of Glasgow Fort
C. R.
Nice shopping centre with plenty of parking and a even plentiful choice of shops to shop on.
I found this place really busy with all shops thriving, which was great to see in this day and age.
My only complaints is there could be some cover above from the elements as you are completely exposed and there could be more toilets on the site.
But plenty choice of restaurants and food and I did notice a 5 Guys restaurant this time.
C. M.
Very busy and all Disabled Parking Spaces were taken. Cars with no badges no Parking Wardens. Some cars just abandoned. Queue at Marks and Spencer cafe folks taking table s before buying food. Able-bodied Staff had to be asked to fill up scones cakes etc. Will I go back answer is never.
s. m.
Always a good place to visit, nice choice of shops and places to eat. Lots of free parking but very limited EV charging facilities (4 x3.5kW podpoint). The biggest drawback is the fact that the Fort is uncovered; nice on a good day but a wet and windy place in the more common weather
D. W.
Very good shopping centre that always is great at Christmas.
It is also a safer place during covid times.
And you can take the dog a wee trundle around saves going into shops with partner .
Win win
M. R.
A retail park occupied with various shops from clothing retailers to restaurants.
It's location is just off of the M8, so it is a nice place to stop.
G. H.
Great shops available. Car park always mobbed. If going, give yourself time to get parked if you've arranged to meet someone at a specific time.
l. k.
Nice and refreshing centre. Good to be outdoors between shops but it was a dry day. Stores are all quite big , usual choice of high street names. Cinema and eating places make it a one stop destination also has a supermarket right next to it
C. M.
Glasgow Fort is quite nice, adequate number of shops and food places. There is a theatre there as well. Downside is, its not located inside.
Plenty of parking.
L. M.
Love this place! Excellent choice of stores and eateries. Kids can run about fairly free too. Wish they would bring the little park back. My kids loved that. Toilets maintained fairly well. Loads of free parking. Easy to get to as its seconds off the motorway x
S. N.
Massive retail park on the outskirts of Glasgow. Usual type of shops you find in these places. Lots of food outlets and parking. Auchinlea Park is right beside it. It gets very busy at weekends.
C. D. M. (.
Just a quick visit up to m & s to get some food..got there early and plenty of space within ten minutes one side of carpark was full ..if your heading to go to fort ...go early.
R. M.
Glasgow fort is near Easter House which east side of glasgow and close to Motorways exits. A wide stretch of retail shops eg :M&S,Asda Living,Wagamama,Subway Greggs and Argos many more to list. A very good parking space and good eateries. Mall is wheel chair accessible and has toilet facilities.Accessible to public transport.
D. F.
Excellent shopping experience, perfect if the weather is great. Clothes, shoes and eating out all fab and then can do the weekly food shop before heading home , what's not to like! Best of all parking is easy and free!
P. K.
Good range of shops over a small footprint and easy to stay warm and dry even tho it's outdoors. Everything u can need for all shopping needs in a single trip
D. J. M.
Glasgow Fort offers a huge range of entertainment & shops for all ages to enjoy! From the Vue Cinema Complex where every film, everyday is £5:00! To a large array of eateries, coffee shops, clothes, shoes, sports, jewellery shops, etc...There are outdoor children's play areas for various ages throughout the Fort & toilet facilities are available in all the various restaurants, cafes, etc. For all abilities. Prices are very affordable for every budget! A Gym is situated in Sports Direct at the Fort, again for all ages & a monthly discount for under 16's! With limited spaces! A large "Free" Carpark along the whole of the front of the Glasgow Fort is available, also, an indoor "Free" Multistorey Carpark is available too, just next to the Vue Cinema.
Opening hours are as follows;
Monday 9am-10pm
Tuesday 9am-10pm
Wednesday 9am-10pm
Thursday 9am-10pm
Friday 9am-10pm
Saturday 9am-8pm
Sunday 10am-7pm....
I would definitely recommend a shopping/entertainment visit to Glasgow Fort for a fun & exciting day & night!
D. G.
It's a 3 to 4 star rating would get a 4+ if it was not for the empty units but that's a very common sight nowadays at retail park. The big plus is the gyros place, good food and the price is reasonable.
K. M.
Glasgow fort has a good mix of shops, with great opening hours. Has almost everything you need without going all the way into Glasgow
E. H.
Lovely open air venue that welcomes dogs. Massive car parks and very close to motorway. Good sell-off shops and restaurants. Well worth a morning shopping followed by lunch before filling up with petrol and collecting the food shop.
J. K.
Always great experience quality items and great prices except spec savers who take your money and to Hell if there's a problem with the quality of plastic spectacles where if you went to the pound land you would have got them for a £1
N. T.
Many interesting shops gathered in one place. Suitable for shopping but also for coffee or food.
S. M.
Great place to shop. Spotlessly clean but forgot how cold it can be shopping in December. And it has a brilliant hobbycraft and a massive Marks and Spencer.
S. N.
Good for a wee day out on my birthday....especially as it has the only Zara near me for clothes!
R. W.
It's a shopping centre, it does what shopping centres do, it has shops, lots of em. However saying that this place is quite selective on who it lets occupy space so expect to spend above discount rates and in some instances premium rates. Where this centre differs from most is the vast array of eating places and the Vue Cinema. I haven't tried all the eating places but the ones I have are good and the Cinema is fine with the usual exception for cinemas of overpriced goodies. My suggestion is smuggle your own sweets in and just buy a cherry iced slushy inside, they're to die for if you want constant brain freeze while you watch a movie.
G. G.
Good selection of shops, takeaways and entertainment facilities. Good parking and transport routes. All you can really need in a shopping complex
M. M.
Love it us outside and not stuffy was perfect for what we required. Excellent Wagamana. Was extremely busy around 6.30pm queues of cars backing up.
c. n.
I expected glasgow fort to be a mall where one could go inside and see the stores. This was not the case. Everything is outside. So if you want to go to a different store you will have to walk outside and walk to the different store. This is something I would enjoy in the summer but not in the winter time. But that’s my personal opinion.
It’s quite big as well. It has a lot of stores. There was one American restaurant that was absolutely amazing. I will add my review of it, go check it out.
L. D.
What a fantastic shopping centre, full of very unusual shops, ample parking too, loved the experience
C. M.
Excellent for good deals better if was indoor has its quite windy but all in all a good place to shop and good for dining out
A. K.
Superb ,great day out, shopping, cafes, restaurants, coffee places, place to go,free parking.
K. S.
Great shops great place to get nearly everything you would need
G. M.
The place is decent, not the best as it's not under cover but decent. When the weather is not the best and with it being Scotland that's quite alot, it's like a wind tunnel.
Theres a decent selection of clothes shops, Smyth's toy superstore always goes down well with the kids. Plenty of places to eat, wether it be sitting in or taking away. Would really do well with a Primark but unfortunately still not one up there.
Loads of parking spaces but can be manic when really busy but that's to be expected.
All in all a decent place but not 5 stars until it's covered with a roof.
B. B. B.
Plenty of variety when shopping. No Primart, shame. If going on a winters day wrap up warm, the wind Howl's through it.
M. O.
Glasgow Fort this ti.e of the year have a Chrostmas Market. Its absolutly worth coming for.
I love churros and pancakes with mashmallows. Beside, u could get different things there (food, peronalised christmas decorations, chocolates from Belgium, and soooooo on).
Beside its a shopping centre, u can buy ther all kind of different things. Good place for shopping.
E. H.
First time here, but will definitely be going back. Food was excellent and staff very nice and helpful
M. R.
Picked a bad time to go the Friday before Christmas. Parking was difficult and the balance was packed. Got what I needed and left very quickly.
P. M.
Not as great a range of some larger retailers than I expected, but the only place in Glasgow with a Smyth's toy store, so I had to travel from home to bus station then try and find which bus would take me there and back, rather long journey, although only 19 mins in car from my door.
S. M.
Lovely friendly outdoor shopping centre with a good variety of shops and restaurants. Only down side is the shops closed due to liquidation during covid. But still a good enough variety.
H. T.
Good way for shoping basically on fresh air, wide choice of shops
A. R.
Excellent variety of shops and dining, made a great effort for Christmas with a mini outdoor market, ample designer shops as amle parking for free!
K. T.
Sadly in my opinion not as good as it used to be, the closure of several shops (some due to covid) has meant my frequency in visits has severely decreased, however the addition of M&S has been great if a little chaotic due to increased foot traffic.
I must also note a severe decrease in the quality/consistency in several of the resurants, I won't go in to too much detail here except to say inconsistent quality, cold food and food having to be sent back multiple times, sadly this isn't unique to covid as some of these issues started in one particular restaurant before the first lockdown was even a thing.
I still enjoy a vist now and then, but overall a vist to Glasgow Fort is now a pop in to M&S thing, where once it was let's go for a coffee or a bite to eat it's now lets get something nice from M&S and cook at home.
s. h.
Loads of shops n food outlets had a kebab best ever, thought i'd returned to Rhodes, apart from the cold weather
I. L.
It has a good variety of shops. I'm disappointed that it doesn't have a cafe nero
S. N.
Massive retail park. Lots stores and eateries. Very clean. Does get busy.
B. Z.
Great place. A lot of shops in one area.
A. H.
Only a cinema trip but from what I saw decent place and you are no ripped aff way a million pound an hour parking like the toon. City Council should be ashamed privatisation of the city car parks is a shambles and should be investigated. Why would you not just go our of toon to places like this.??
N. A.
It's out in the open for Scotland. It would have been better sheltered from the rain. Addition of muti storey carpark makes parking better.
g. n.
The fort was excellent loads of nice shops and places to eat.
G. B.
Good selection of high street shops and restaurants, also plenty of free parking.
F. R.
New favourite go-to when I need any new clothes. Service in most shops is good and there's loads of good places to eat.
E. G.
OK has every shop. Carpark is confusing to manager. Good list of shops. Clean organised.
L. R.
Great range of shops & restaurants. I would highly recommend. Stuff for every age & budget.
A. w. W.
Really enjoyed had so much fun all shops are in one place easy to shop anything
P. H.
Great shopping center, m and s, fantastic, loved all the shops we visited
s. d.
Loads of shops to browse and alot of nice places to eat aswell plus very convenient opening times for working people.
L. 3.
Great shopping experience with all the shops you need in one place. It’s super convenient.
H. N.
Good selection of shops. Good for parking
N. F.
Great especially when it's dry as open air shopping. Generally got plenty of parking, can be busy esp at Christmas and certain times. Check the busy time indicator on Google. Be good when all back open. Kept clean and tidy. Free parking too.
G. C.
great shopping expect it to be busy at weekends but midweek plenty of parking
W. C.
Nice clean shopping centre pity some of the eating establishment do do breakfast
i. a.
Some shops are great but it's _ soo open
D. M.
The fort has everything you would need and a great variety of shops. Very clean and loads of places to eat.
R. T.
Love the outdoor shopping experience, kind of like a large high street. Great range of shops and eating places. Not sure I like the new multistory car park design. Not in keeping with the rest of the place but it has plenty of spaces.
a. S.
Was in getting the little ones ears pierced in claires ended up nearly 100 pounds but there 9caret gold and ah few small rubies was satisfied with the sale's women they were brilliant doing each ear at the same time couldn't fault them for anything
F. P.

A. M.

P. K.
Only been here once I loves the choice of shops great place to spend a day this place gas everything
C. G.
Decent shopping centre with plenty of free parking, it’s a good weather visit though, not a lot of cover when the weather is poor
A. G.
I like this open shopping center since you get fresh air while you're shopping. It has variety of stores and restaurants.
R. K.
Overrated shopping centre. Only reason to to go is either Smyths or HobbyCraft
D. M.
Great variety of shops all at 1 place, found everything I needed from cheaper stuff to more expensive shops only let down is on busy days parking is terrible
L. N.
Great place to shop and the added bonus of having our nearest zara store!
P. P.
Now that the shops are open again there is something strange about going to The Fort and being so close to other folk. Strange but nice. I think it’s about things getting back to what they were. Anyway, the fort is a typical outdoor shopping mall. All the usual shops and eateries. It was not overly busy which I appreciated but nice to get a rake about stuff rather than buying on Amazon.
R. M.
Outdoor shopping area pleasant on a sunny day. Couldn't find trousers in my size, so if you're anything over 40" waist look elsewhere
M. M.
So so busy early we went to smyths to buy a toy paid for it and left if shopping at the Fort go when opening or later in evening car park was nearly full at 10am
e. e.
More shops now and opening late hours every day one stop shopping for all ages , lots of food shops and cinema for outing
H. W.
First visit there. Was impressed by the layout. It was a scorching day and that helped to give it a good atmosphere. Plenty shops and a supermarket at either end to choose from.. plus plenty eateries. All shops had safety measures in place.. All in all it was a good day out. Would recommend a visit.
P. “. J.
Fantastic shops and restaurants, parking can be difficult at peak times.
R. C.
Getting better. Gets very busy and at the moment you need to queue for some stores.
Has the vast majority of brands you look for but more expensive than online.
M. Q.
Good variety of shops & restaurants! Although mainly chain with themes? Also a very good cinema!, reasonably priced, used to visit gym situated in a sports shop! It has pool & sauna! But stop gym thru covid! Gym changed owners & I stopped going for personal option.
A. C.
Who doesn't love the Fort? No hassle to park 👌 and you don't need to rush around to get back to the car.
C. C.
Mostly positive but more policing of parking needed, people using disabled spaces with no badge displayed or just parking anywhere!!
a. s.
A very good shopping center, all kind of showrooms are here
A. I.
You'll get the best shops here, I recommend you visit this place, it's totally amazing.
M. F.
Nice place for shopping. Mostly around December and boxing Day.. reccomended!
P. M.
Lots Of variety of shops go to. There are designer shops and cheaper shops. Plenty of parking.
M. R.
Modern large outdoor shopping center with some great, big names in the tenant mix. Plenty of parking. Good family dining options and modern cinema.
S. U.
In good dry weather nice place for shopping, food. Many big names offering almost everything a shopper is looking for. Clothing, Furniture, carpet, home appliancesabbat, optician and much more.
D.
Great place to shop and some great stores. Need to go in decent weather as all outdoor walking from shop to shop. Good selection of restaurants. Couple of nice coffee shops, Costa was my Tim Hortons as no Timmies here. (Timmies by Glasgow Central). No indoor seats available anywhere for elderly. Most of the shops have lifts.
Bus terminal close by. X19 will get you back and forth to the train station easily.
B. P.
Quick visit to Marks and Spencer and bought a couple of shirts.
J. M.
A lot of modeling products no longer cater for.
K. W.
No trouble parking.
Good variety of shops.
j. a.
Good selection of shops, parking is chaos sometimes
C. W.
Never been before, big with plenty off shops, good selection
D. C.
Lots of shops with something for everyone, best place for food is the gyros stand, absolutely amazing and I'd recommend to anyone 👍
J. M.
The Fort has a wide range of shopping services which cover I would think everyone's taste.
H. K.
A great centre that has lots of variety but not is it cold! Even in summer there’s a wind.
The Gyros van is our favourite and sometimes we go there just for a kebab.
All the shops are well spaced out with ample space between them, lots of parking and the restaurants are fab
M. F.
Comprehensive range of major UK shops. Plenty of free parking, toilets etc.
C. J.
Great selection of shops, good parking. Only downside is its outside, so not ideal if its raining
M. C.
A lot of shop have now closed down, its a pity as The Ford was a good shopping centre.
K. E.
A good load of shops. Something for everyone. Plenty of places to eat and even a cinema and gym.
K. F.
Love this shoping centre only thing is its very open to the eliments.
K. s. P.
Had a gyros from MacTassos, was really good. Highly recommend it. Was nice just to be out in fresh air in between shops.
G. M.
Always have a fantastic day at the Fort,
Everything you need and more granddaughter always costs me a fortune with the rides, won't come of them,
can't even say I've ran out of money, they now take chip and pin...😄
j. n.
Has a decent selection of stores and restaurants. Parking can be a nightmare at peak and people simply park where they want to including on the public walkways and randomly in the carpark blocking others from getting around!
L. B.
Not been the same since covid hit but a decent range of shops with friendly and helpful staff. The good thing here is if your hungry there's a selection of places to eat basically right next to the shops
J. D. M.
Very busy car parking area , we got everything we needed from various stores
K. R.
Loads of shops and restaurants defo worth going
G. F.
Great outdoor shopping centre with plenty of parking and decent shops.
The shopping centre is a wide C shape which is open air and not enclosed at any point and has loads of parking zones along the inside edge of the shops. There is also a 600 space multistory at the top end beside the restaurants. The centre of the area has a large bus stop with plenty of public transport links.
Loads of large and small shops with plenty if variety from a poundshop to an Asda living to M&S and a Beaverbrooks. There are also a number of cart/box businesses in between the static shops.
There are plenty of places to eat including pizza hut, Harvester, Wagamama, Nandos and TGI Fridays to name a few.
Toilets are easily found, clean and well kept and there is a kids play park set back from the main shopping area as well as kids play items scattered across the shopping centre including free movement play items (blocks/tubes/hills) and paid for cars etc.
Most of the shops are open fairly late and there is a good Vue cinema too. Can be busy at peak times but that's what peak times are!
N. M.
Not too busy and all shops I entered adopting covid safe measures. Lots of wide spaces to keep apart and also majority outdoors. Toilets were clean with soap and antibacterial gel provided.
E. M.
I LOVE THE GLASGOW FORT!! I went yesterday to have lunch and return some clothes and it's always such an amazing place to shop. Parking is easy enough to find. Lots of shops are still open and if you go to Tito's and get donuts, you will feel truly complete! They are amazing!
M. M.
Great shopping centre a like when they are all together...
S. M.
Has everything you need from a retail park for shopping to eating out at the many restaurants there and the Vue Cinema for entertainment
J. “.
Great l got what I wanted and more and the staff are very friendly well recommended
H.
Not so great during winter ❄️ coz so widely open so it gets very cold going from one shop to the other
W. M.
A quick visit to Asda George Store and then into Hobby Craft for some storage boxes and a variety of fat squares (cloth for sewing)
C. M.
Did some early Christmas shopping. Good selection of shops
M. G.
Food, shopping, good parking. A cinema and straight off the motorway so easy access.
S. F.
Great shopping experience, so many shops and variety.
C. A.
Great for a day visit. Good shop variety with an old outdoors High Street feeling.
A. G.
Good selection off shops and eateries.Busy place parking can be a pain.

Great shopping experience well worth a visit
s. X.
2 mins from M8 motorway..Plenty parking (Christmas can be tricky) plenty buses pass through, a great range of shops too many to mention, easily available on Glasgow fort website should be able to find what your looking for, there's also a vue cinema for the non shopper to pass a bit of time, and plenty of food available from takeout to restaurants also have nearby morrisons open till 22.00 Monday-Saturday 20.00 Sundays with petrol station till 23.00 every day 24hrs for fuel by card....give yourself enough time you could be here for a full day..
J. M.
Great selection of shops and food.
s. a.
Big place all the shops are a decent size which isn't the case if u visit braehead or st Enoch, the Smyth's toys is always great too
C. M.
Went in for a bit of lunch, food was fantastic - I’d recommend the rotisserie chicken. We were helped Claire and Anne who was attentive and constantly checking that we were all good (which is important as we had to stay seated as much as possible cause of Covid) I definitely will be back! 😊
T. H. &. F. T.
Great shops but not a place to go when raining
W. N.
Was only in one shop. So rated it a four👍. Going back next week. The Asda's living shop was fantastic. Lots of selection of clothing. And everything you need to make a house home under one roof. Definitely going back next week. There's loads of parking. Plenty of buses. The Vue cinema (dont know if its open). Boots Zara,Disney,Deichmann,Scs. Loads of shops. Theres a great selection of places to eat. Sit in or takeaway. Deserves a 5
m. k.
Went to the Fort shopping and had lunch in Wagamamas, would recommend it. Great value.
C. R.
Was great to be out and about again. My partner loves the lasagne here and my 1 and a half year old daughter had her first proper eating out meal today.
Manjit our server was really friendly and nothing was too much bother for him. He even went and got our baby girl garlic bread when she didn't want the salad with her pizza.
Keep up the good work guys. See you again soon
J. C.
Good shopping centre but can be a bit drafty
P. C.
It’s got a great variety of shopping with most of it under the shelter of glass canopies when it’s raining. It’s always well maintained with no litter in sight. The kids play park is also great for a half time break. At times the movement of traffic is slow but enough to put me off from visiting
j. l. h.
Good variety of shop's. Even better now that nippys lifted the restrictions!
A. S. I. A.
Good location easy access to the motorway, more multi stores car pack needed in order to expand the shopping area a Primark would be ideal.
J. G.
Fab place to shop and easy to get to. Couldnt find my favourite brands but great for a quick shopping fix
T. B.

A wonderful shopping area.
Safe to walk around with children as parking is at distance. While parking is huge and availability does not seem an issue.. Many brands at one place. Clothing, ahoes, food, grocery everything can be purchased at the same place within walking distance.
Good for families outing, shopping, eating and entertainment. Timings are also suitable during the week.
J. M.
Was taking some stuff back was quick enough to get in and dealt with even with restrictions.
A. M.

J. T.
Great shops had a great day xxx
J. M.
Brilliant shopping experience and kids entertainment
G. P.
Great place to take family out to plenty of choices for eating and snacks.
Best bit is it's open very late so you don't have to worry about catching the shop at 17.00 as they shut at 10pm
The place is all outdoors so it can be cold walking around most bits have shelter from the rain but if its busy you will get wet in the rain
My family all like it here compared to city centre area
S. F.
Just stopped for coffee on the way home from Glasgow. Got parked very easily, less people about I suppose. I was disappointed that Pret is no longer open, as I wanted a mocha and one of their nice avocado open sandwiches 😭. Settled for a Starbucks one and a cake, also very good, if not so healthy. Floor needed a sweep, but apart from that it was clean and very well organised.
J. W.
Great place to shop. Nice big open shop where you have plenty of room to move about without bumping into other people. Very well stocked.
R. M.
Excellent got everything you need love the fort
C. C.
Plenty of parking spaces. Had the shops we needed so cannot complain 👍😁
G. D.
I enjoy shopping here, plenty of shops plenty of places to eat covering all tastes and budgets alike. Then if you want the cinema is nearby. There is plenty of parking, however you may need to hunt for a spot sometimes....... at least its free parking. Its not under cover so be aware in poor weather, all in all i enjoy shopping there
R. G.
Decent selection of restaurants but nothing nonstandard for a shopping mall. The parking is convenient, especially with the garage next to the theatre. One thing that did impress me and stood out was not clean the area was. I've been at too many of these malls where there is litter everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised to see that wasn't the case here.
G. M.
Great selection of shops and scran places
K. C.
Plenty of big named shops not enough of the smaller names parking can be a bit of a nightmare
V. S.
Great wee bakers, highly recommend
C. F.
An alright 'Shopping Centre' just outside Glasgow. Easily accessible from the M8 it's very convenient although somewhat lacking in options. It's more of a large retail park than anything and it's not great on a rainy day as there's barely any coverage unless you're inside the shops. It's also insanely busy.
J. C.
Large variety of shops in an outdoor setting. Nice selection of restaurants and the cinema makes it a good day out with the kids. Consider getting in early as parking fills up quickly and can get a bit crazy, even with new multistory car park complementing the three original parking lots.
j. m.
Plenty parking and it's free, shops are all adhering to hand santitor stations . Great mixture of shops and restaurants. Feel most people are trying thier best to adhere to sociol distance and wearing masks .. I have no problem shopping or eating here .
M. M.
Brilliant shopping centre. Probably the best in Scotland.
D. W.
Has most of the shops you could need and there are plenty of places for a meal or snack. Because it is outdoors there are no need for Covid controls between shops.
C. F.
Loads of places to shop and eat and drink
J. H. B.
Great range of shops
Can be a bit cold so I would wrap up
A. M.
Good place to shop in good weather, but very open to the elements silverburn although more difficult to get to as the traffic is always busy is totally undercover and has a better assortment of shops
E. R.
Pretty much any shop you want to be here is here. They take kindly to kids on scooters and anyone on bikes, but have some weird thing against skateboards.
b. 8.
When is sunny this place is great. Plenty of shops, coffees and restaurants. I mostly go for TKMAXX but is cool for a coffee outside as well.
R. M.
Outstanding experience, a rich plethora of shopping. Las Vegas, Manhattan, Paris, London, Dusseldorf now Glasgow. Smyth's the n onto Gregg's 👍
d. c.
It took some time to get a parking space.3 very large car parks, first 2 were full. This gives an indication of the high number of shoppers at the time. Most of the shops were open and doing well, large queues outside the larger stores.Very few premises were closed and those may have been affected by the length of the lockdown.
A.
Probably the most well rounded shopping park in the Glasgow area. certainly a toss up between here and braehead, I would recommend here just because I prefer what's available.
L. C.
Always a good place to shop with excellent parking.
D. W.
Good shopping centre with wide variety of retailers. It's a mall with a difference in that it's set out like a main street and you are outside rather than indoors. Great for the Summer months, but a bit cooler in Winter. Good amount of parking space, although could always use more. Reasonable choice of food restaurants. Great in run up to Christmas due to extended opening hours.
C. B.
Great sized shopping centre, has a great mix of shops from high end jewellery to a poundland and a cinema. It's is opened until late on week days which is great for going out shopping after work and has plenty of parking space. Pretty well maintained also.
J. B.
Cracking shopping centre with a really good range of stores and eateries. Parking much better since they built the multi storey
H. M.
Best shopping destination, especially with kids and since Covid. Great variety of shops and lots of space for the kids to run around.
I. P.
Parking can be a bit of a pain until you learn where the entrances to the various car parks are, and I couldn't spot a public toilet when I was there (awkward when you have two kids in tow!). The variety of shops is good, though, and it's in a convenient location just off the M8
H. D.
Brillaint shops.
Walkways and toilets are spotless.
I love to shop here.
J. L.
Enjoy going for a walk about the Fort nice and clean and staff are friendly
N. O. B. C.
There is a lot of stores and their facilities are wide enough to spend some time in family... You will enjoy visiting it...
J. G.
Fantastic mall if you want it its here, plus good for a workout walking around the stores, once again plenty of stores and worth a visit.
D. M.
Good selection of shops and eateries.
M. B.
Sunday.. extremely busy. Distancing not well observed outside. Too crowded to be pleasant. Shops open and stocked.
R.
Great when it's not raining since its open plan. Everything required in 1 area. Parking can be annoying at certain times
A. S.
Lots of open space for to get around the shops
J. S.
Always a good day and tea at the we fish and ship shop.
D. G.
Good shopping....but cold and windy
j. s.
Could not find what I was looking for a watch strap for my Rotary
S. B.
The parking is difficult you have a lot of 1 way bits and you get mixed up with the bus routes it's not clear to a new person to visit glad I went on a quiet day the staff were brilliant but why is my size so difficult to get. Surely if that's the best seller they should have more in stock 40" w 33" leg
P. W.
Great place to shop its always a pleasant experience...made my night @ the JD sports shop the staff at the sports department upstairs...wow so experienced in their product knowledge had immediately realised I wanted served had the items on my feet and had 3 lovely conversations with them....10 /10....will go back again soon.
D. M.
As shopping centres go, it’s okay. All the usual boring chains and some interesting food options too.
L. B.
Love shopping at the Fort. Never feels too busy because its all outside. Good variety of shops and places to eat.
M. R.
Wouldn't protect against an invasion but plenty shops.
A. M.
Range of stores to shop in and good selection of restaurants to dine in. Also have the cinema there to watch a good movie.
E. B.
A good variety of shops and eateries
D. C.
Not great for disabled or limited mobility folks. Good shops though.
j. m.
Very xmassy easy parking.
N. B.
We visit Fort regular and it is very nice. Well done to staff who keep it so clean and litter free. Something needs to be done regarding parking. People drive far to fast and park up on pavement corners etc. Speed bumps would be the answer or someone employed to patrol the parking area. Also so many people pull into disabled bays and it is questionable as to their disability.
J. H.
Love the fort great shops and plenty parking .
s. k.
Great place to go for bit of shopping on sunny day. Needs to get more shops like primark would make it better. Only thing would say is most shops have lifts at back so not accessible as some aisles are too small/complex to navigate with pram
N. B.
Easy free parking with plenty of shops and places to eat
S. K.
So many lovely shops here. It took me 3 hours to go through half of the shops. Going next week to see other half of the shops.
A. G.
A fair few different shops and food outlets to choose from
n. w.
Fantastic now that you can park easily
S. K.
A great range of stores to choose from.
I. D.
Handy place, got something for everyone and open late too !
J. M.
Great range of shops and eateries
D. W.
Nice wee convince store with good selection of vape oils and coils if you are ever caught short and need some thing
M. R.
Nice place good shops
I. C.
In case you've driven past it for years and didn't realise that shiny silver metallic place you pass on the M8 heading towards Edinburgh as you're leaving Glasgow is Glasgow Fort. It looks downright space age. I passed it for ages before I found out what it was. It's a shopping centre with a lot going for it.
*Loads of free parking (a must! Especially important if you're buying a lot of stuff).
*Great motorway access.
*Entirely outdoors but with an overhang that will help keep you dry (lowers your covid risk and a bit of fresh air).
*They've built the place as a giant nearly circular centre with the car park in the middle (and an overflow carpark you can access if the outdoor one fills up) - the advantage of that is you can get your car fairly quickly from all points of the centre.
*It has bus access if you don't have a car or are planning on drinking (eg there are a lot of places to eat where one could also have a drink).
*It has a TGI Fridays - this is worth pointing out on its own.
This is a great place if you fancy a change from Braehead, the Forge, or the St Enoch's Centre. It's vibe is a cross between european with seats outside at various eateries and space age - with the shiny metallic building. It's well lit and a trip to one end and back will likely get you well on your way to your 10k steps per day. ;-)
C. B.
Great place for a bit of a day out. Loads of parking spaces and loads of shops to look around. Theres a good selection of places to get some food too. A little too busy for my liking though during the Coronavirus.
D. C.
Great shopping venue, has everything you would need and good options for dining too. Lots of parking although it does get very busy most of he time. Extended opening hours do bring late night shopping options. Saturdays are always very busy and it’s outdoors with partial shelter for walking under but always windy. Unless you know which shops you’re heading for then park in the middle
e. M.
Wow first time i have been here i loved it so many shops to choose from and everyone is so helpful and very friendly. I will definitely come back here next time we are in Scotland
P. F.
Only visiting TK Kaxx, but we got what we were looking for.
c. R.
Great place to shop and stroll. Loads of variety with shops, restaurants and takeaway places, something for all.
Always clean and tidy and verges and shrubs around the retail park well cared for.
J. K.
Google Maps takes yo on a labyrinthine journey to get here on a bike but that's Google's problem. When yo get there, plenty to shop and a nice place overall.
M. W.
A really good selection of shops to browse and a number of good quality places to eat. It's always clean and tidy, with a good presence of staff and security on hand
Parking is always a struggle and there aren't ever enough disabled spaces.
It's an outdoors centre so weather can affect the 'fun'.
Altogether a good afternoon at the shops.
D. H.
I do like shopping here
C. M.
I love the Glasgow fort it has everything but we need a BURGER KING. Please bring back Yosushi!
I. T.
Plenty of great shops. Nightmare with the parking and getting out of the place. Better idea to park in the indoor car park. I'd prefer it if there was a roof over the place especially living in Scotland as we get more than our fair share of rain. There's s nice big Morrisons there too
j.
Many shops n free car park
l. a. t. s. d. b.
No major complaints although it would be nice to have a bigger variety of food and drink places. I appreciate that there are some coffee/cafe options however could you please cater for the people who’s preference is Cafe Nero? As this (in my opinion) is the superior coffee shop. Thanks.
I. M.
It's like being in America 🤩 I wish Elgin in moray where I live was like this😊 I hope to visit here again next time I'm down in Cumbernauld.
b. m.
Great selection of shops, restaurants and cinema. One of the better designed shopping complexes. Recommended.
D. M.
Good place. Lots of eating places and plenty to shop. Few empty shops now tho.
A. R.
An American style shopping mall, very thing you need....
T. H.
Went to the cinema was great fun and nice afternoon
M. C.
Very busy, lots of traffic.
Only visited Harvester, not impressed.
S. J. M.
The stores that are here are a amazing it's always a great place to shop and there is no lack of places to eat. And if you are ever lost there is a great team of staff on hand to help you there is a massive car park that is free and if you don't have a car you can get a bus as it drops you off right at the heart of all the eminitees
R. G.
Has many shops, restaurants, cafes, vue cinema theatre and ample free car parking space. What else do you need for perfect shopping experience. The coolest thing about Glassgow Fort is that it is open till 10pm on weekdays. That’s like awesome.
C. K.
A great morning out a bit busy
G. M.
I love the Fort. Plenty of parking, lots of shops and a good variety of places to eat. They have security patrols and cleaning staff maintaining the footpaths and there are plenty of bins and seating. Transport links are excellent by bus or car. Wear comfy shoes though, you'll do plenty of walking.
D. T.
Nice shopping center within immediate access from highway. It caters customers of all ages. Murphys toy store is there for the kids, M&S for the family, Sports direct if you are looking for any sports items, movies, restaurants etc etc. Ample parking space available. Good connection with public transportation too ( buses and taxis).
F. M.
Been here so often. Great shopping and facilities. Nice as it’s outdoors but also glass covered each side allowing you to stay dry!! With the addition of the new M&S store it’s great. Parking although can be difficult it’s free and you will always get a space.
T. M.
Loads of nice shops x lots of great eating places x wrap up cause it's always freezing x
W. B.
Everything you need for shopping and once that's done there's plenty of places to eat.
M. L.
Good place to shop, just wrap up warm! And...it's always so busy. Regardless of how big the car is and how many spaces there are, there are never enough! Go early.
R. J. “. M.
Great place for shopping and getting some food has everything you'll need.
J. P.
Good choice of shops and it's great to be able to go outside between places - and take the mask off for a few minutes!
R. S.
Outdoor shopping centre that has pretty much everything. Plenty of parking spaces, have always found a space pretty quickly. Parking is restricted so if you're heading out to cinema and get a bite to eat, watch your time.
J. B.
Wide variety of shops to please even the most fervent shopper. Loads of places to eat or grab a coffee. There's even a cinema. Loads of parking but it still gets busy especially at weekends so be prepared to drive round.
R. M.
It's a shopping mall, only outdoors...in Scotland.
M. G.
I would like to see a primark here
L. M.
This place just gets better every time I visit. More shops, more places to eat and free parking. Boots has customer loos and Next will let kids use theirs in an emergency if you can't get to the public ones. I'd score it 5/5 except it's not undercover like The Silverburn.
L. M.
Tidy area well maintained. Shops not to busy all had sanitiser at entrance staff helpful
S. A.
Fantastic retail park with loads of parking and a huge selection of shops. The place is kept clean and you're spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat.
Like most retail parks you'll see all the big chains but not so many smaller, more unique businesses.
I go here every time I'm in Glasgow and if you find yourself in the city I'd definitely recommend a visit.
T.
It is very near my home so it is ideal, only 4 stars because there are some stores missing that in all honesty you would have thought they would have jumped at the chance to open there!
L. L.
Great mix of shops something for everyone. Plenty of free parking lots of places to eat and a cinema too. Could do with a bit more shelter/covered areas for our bad weather!
K. W.
Large outdoor mall with all the usual retail suspects and restaurants. Has a Hobby Craft store which is unusual with a good selection of crafting supplies, wool, fabric, etc.
L. S.
That my best ever shopping centre there is everything and you can find anything you are looking for..... should have a 10 star shopping centre
J. L.
An amazing complex for a day out with a group of people as there is a lot there that can be explored. There are a lot of shops and plenty of options and opportunities for you to grab something to eat. It is also somewhere that acommodates for people who aren't looking to spend time in the city centre.
I. M.
Had a good shopping experience in the three shop ,the didn't have the phone I was after.
So went to the pound shop and the card factory all the shops I needed in one place
Free parking, very large car park for all your shopping
In addition to this they have a lot off places to eat also .
Thanks for reading my review please feel free to have a look at all the photos linked to all my reviews thanks again for reading my review .
R. S.
Great shopping good eating places
J. M.
Good parking. Didn't visit shops as I was just there for lunch.
A. C.
Good for variety of shops
C.
The Fort was fab went to M&S at nine small que but they have just got it right in all aspects most of the other shops slightly busier spent a fortune but had fun doing it 😀
M. H.
Liked it a lot will b bk
I. R.
Open car park. Not brilliant when wet and windy
M. T.
Terrible parking. Facilities good if you once get parked. Brilliant Harvester. Booked on line for Christmas Eve. Turns out they were due to close. They fed us with smiles and rescued us from a dire situation and did not let on. We found out by chance. Come on management. Who controls the internet?
M. P.
Full array of shops and eateries as well as a small cinema. At weekends and some nights this place is extremely busy but generally it is pleasantly quiet, even still the car parks are usually quite full. With regards to the car parks, whilst there is a lot of disabled spaces there are hardly any parent and child spaces in the car park and they are usually snaffled
J. T.
Some of the shops are pretty small but still a good variety of high street outlets available. Has a cinema, plenty restaurants, ample parking and is close to a morrisons supermarket which has a petrol station. McDonalds being added shortly.
L. L.
Fave place for a wander, coffee or meal. Easy access, cinema, open till 10 most nights. Feels safe! Doesn't have every shop but easier shopping than the city! Open later near Christmas!
D. H.
Lack of fast food, but good variety of shops
B. C.
Excellent variety of all the big names plus one or two independents, a good selection of food outlets at either end, and all open late. Although the car park is huge spaces are hard to come by at weekends; go midweek if you can!
D. L.
Lots of accessible parking that's free and a good range of shops and eating places. Very easy to get to as it's just off the motorway.
E. G.
Free parking good selection of shops and eating places. Also enjoyed the cinema good price bought the tickets online so£4.95 don't know how much if you buy tickets when you get there.
s.
Good variety of shops. Not the tacky stuff you now find in Sauchiehall St.
A. H.
Stopped off here on the way back from Edinburgh. Not been out this way for a while a few changes to the shops. Disney pop up opening soon, and Waterston's book store has reopened. Plenty places to have lunch/dinner, or just a coffee good selection of stores, could spend a good few hours here.
R.
Bust retail park. Good selection of stores. 2 downsides.
1 parking. It's a nightmare it's always busy and you queue a lot of the time for a space. Even although they've added more car parks it's still the same.
2. The design if the stores causes a wind funnel and it never feels anything but wind chill.
A. W.
Very good choice of stores here, with a few decent restaurants too. Could do with a store directory though, so you know which stores are at which end. Also, due to the restrictive access from the M8, it can get very busy and very slow trying to get in from the motorway during busy periods, and despite the recent addition of a much-needed multi-storey car park parking can still be difficult when the shops are busy.
J. W.
Good place lots of shops and places to eat only down side is its out doors
M. N.
Great shopping centre, got some lovely gifts, and plenty of choice
K. T.
Great big 'shopping centre'. What's good is that it's outdoors as it makes it so much less stuffy and closed during peak times. So many shops here from restaurants to a cinema to stationary and fashion shops. A lot of parking available with great big saves and it's all completely free!
D. A. M.
An amazing range of shops to cater for every need from M&S to Poundland and Swarovski to Argos . With a Vue Cinema and dozens of eateries to fill any stomach AND FREE PARKING ! for thousands , This is a must for all shopaholics . The only drawback is that the entire shopping complex is not under cover so when its raining & cold you find yourself getting warm and comfortable in one shop only to get wet and cold before going into the next shop. All in all though a great shopping experience .
C. C.
It has almost everything in one place. Semi covered walkways mean you have shelter from the rain without it being too hot. Great shopping venue with lots of good food options, a cinema, a gym a kids play area and plenty parking.
B. C.
Parking is like driving into a giant maze blindfolded then getting out is like a mid-evil game of Jousting but with more rage. Handy as its just off the motorway lots of shops, no roof so if its raining well you're getting wet. 😕
S. C.
Only thing missing is a primark
A. A.
Huge, sprawling, gleaming, seemingly never-ending concave high street on steroids dipped in 50s B Movie flying saucer paint on one side then dropped in the middle of fields up a hill outside Easterhouse. Surreal - with ample parking. And a Greggs.
S. G.
Great shopping mall especially in the good weather. I'm a blue badge holder and the amount of cars parked in the disabled bays without permits is ridiculous. Who is responsible for policing this? Great shops, great gym and great selection of restaurants, shame there is no McDonalds or KFC.
A. G.
It's open walk ways so you're exposed to the elements
i.
Was more like a shopping place than a Fort.
D. M.
Plenty of shops of All types big change to auchenilia Park since the last time I saw it
S. M.
Great for outdoor shopping
D. M. D.
Plenty of different shops to choose from, plenty of eating places, spoiled for choice. Great place to shop usually you get what your looking for. Bought a new 3 piece suite from SCS over the moon with the purchase so yes I would recommend the Fort as a great place to shop.
D. P.
Fort is good, plenty of parking and open air shopping.
D. W.
An open air retail park with restaurants and a cinema. Many major brand shops here (like Zara and River Island) as well as boutiques. Free parking available. Always busy and the park appears to be growing in size and popularity. Conveniently close to the M8.
J. L.
The fort is a good variety of shops. We ate at blue lagoon fish and chip shop, the service was great as were the chips but the fish was awful, so dry and flaky, I dont know what fish it was but I couldn't eat it it was that bad!! My husband ate some of his but only because he was starving.
P. M.
Very busy hard to get parking
S. R.
Opens till 10! Great place! 👍Plenty of seating area! Lovely staff!
D. M.
Good selection of shops and eateries and plenty of parking.
D. T.
It's ok as far as shopping centers but being in a cold raining country I prefer silverburn, breahead or st Enoch center because the whole shopping mall is indoors (fort or shops surrounding the car park so in order to from one to the other you need to be outside)
J. H.
It was fantastic. Food was great
F. N.
Good selection of retailers with loads of places to stop for a coffee or something to eat. Nice Christmas Market at the moment. Only negative for the Fort is that it is open to the elements!
C.
Good range of shops with a few nice cafes and a cinema which is great value for money. Lots of places to eat and it's generally pretty well kept. I've always found a space even if it's busy. It's outdoor so be prepared for the weather.
J. C.
Great shopping venue, especially the free parking tower. However, the glass canopies running above the shops entrances are virtually useless in case of bad weather, making the mile long walk from one end to the other tedious, especially with a toddler.
L. D.
Parking still bad at peak times as users of cinema & restaurant take up the spaces for hours. No disability scooters on offer and too far for persons with disability to walk from end to end. Good selection of shops but big turnover so that is a bad sign overall.
B. B.
M&S is great here. Shame that they don’t have Venisson at times.
J. D.
Great place to unwind and relax whilst shopping or just having a coffee or lunch.
l.
So many shops to choose from! Everything from food, to clothing, to toys and much, much more. Loads of parking, but spaces fill up quickly especially at the weekend and after 5 pm. Most of the shops are open until 10 pm most days.
R. -.
Large open air shopping mall with a good number of outlets and cafes.
Parking is plentiful with disabled spaces and level access throughout.
Is very popular at weekends and is easy to get to with access directly from the motorway.
M. H.
Clean, spacious with plenty of parking space. Shops light, bright and airy. A wonderful Chritmas shopping experience
S. F.
Lots of different shops, late night opening. Can sometimes take a while to find a parking space
R. C.
Been here dozens of times after moving into a nearby estate.
From morning coffee's to full holiday shopping this is where I'd go.
Loads of parking and importantly for us due to car size and a young kid there is losds of child spaces.
Lots of shops and every visit always results in a trip to Costa which has great service.
FYI phone signal is non existent in some shops.
A. W.
Amazing place. So many good shops. So many good food options. Outside but with enough shelter that rain isn't a huge problem. Good parking facility. Perfect for a quick drive by to pick something up or go for the whole day.
R. C.
Good shopping centre. Lots of shops available. Stores do change quite often however nothing is left empty for too long. I do have a complaint about the security of the fort. Parking is a nightmare on weekends and parking staff only seem to care when it's busy. They illegally direct traffic and stop drivers. They are not insured or trained to do this and it is dangerous to listen to them as they have no idea what other parking attendants are telling other people. They have no jurisdiction on the roads around or through the fort. Additional nothing is done in the actual car park where cars and delivery vans double park or take up numerous spaces despite it being peak time. Blue badge parking spaces are not policed and many disabled visitors holding a blue badge are left to travel from the far end of the car park. The parking situation in the fort is amble but badly sign posted and the one way roads are not clear resulting in backed up traffic or literally stuck cars. Security in the fort is not much better with teenagers on bicycle riding at speed through the open area and children being allowed to ride on bikes scooters and segways through shops. Both of these put other shopper as serious risk of harm. Step up security for a modern shopping facility and quit pretending to be traffic policemen!
S. A.
A very good shopping areas
G. F.
Good range of shops and restaurants. Usually clean and open until a decent time. Parking can be busy weekend daytime but otherwise easy enough.
j. s.
Decent outdoor shopping arcade. Has an array of designer and not so designer shops. Usually have sales in somewhere. Of you are looking for a specific shop it can usually be found here unless it's specialist. Also new cinema opened and plenty places to find decent food
A. P.
What's not to like. Good selection of stores. Free parking. Great selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Pedestrian open air promenade provides welcome relief from over heated shops. Prefer this to stifling shopping malls.
R. I. h.
A wee bit scary, as first time out from lockdown to shops. Odd not having a sales assistant approach to ask to help! and I found it hard to find what I needed. And I need to take an item back as got the wrong size. (Which wouldnt have happened if I had assistant help)
S. L.
Great variety of shops, plenty of parking space.
A. F.
Great brekky atFrankie and Bennie"s
A. A. C. C.
Great place!
K. S.
Great place for shopping with a good choice. From M&S to poundland, there is a good range of stores. Open late through the week which is handy. Only down side is nowhere to hide from the weather! There is a huge Costa Coffee though!
J. R.
Outdoor shopping centre with free parking. I mainly use this shopping centre as it is local - it frequently surprises me how busy it is even when the weather is bad. Though there is a good selection of shops (it's missing an Accessorize, but I love having a Hobbycraft there), some restaurants, a cinema and a gym. Would rather take my elderly relatives to Braehead which is indoors and over two levels so they don't have to walk as far.
R. M.
Great range of shops and eateries in convenient location at the side of the m8 motorway, biggest disappoint tho is the fact that all open to the elements. Its Scotland...it rains almost every day... they could do themselves a massive favour by putting a glass roof over the pedestrian areas
J. S.
Didn't find anything I actually needed
J. A.
Absolutely fantastic, very good shops for adults and kids, well kept nice and tidy, and every shop you go in you are always met with a friendly face, nice choice of restaurants depending what your taste is,yeah very good place.
S. M.
Better if it was closed over so you can up when it was raining
J. C.
Excellent for parking which is free and a great variety of department stores, coffee shops, eateries and petrol. There's also a cinema and a Morrisons. No need to go into the city with all its parking problems and charges.
D. D.
Decent range of shops from small boutiques to the big boys like hobbycraft and tk maxx. Great restaurants now as well. Parking can still be a nightmare, especially at the weekends but the addition of the multi storey car park has helped. Easy to get to and free parking are in its favour as well.
A.
Nice place to go if weather is nice, loads of shops.
L. C.
The fort in Glasgow has practically got all the shops you need to get your shopping done.it is very useful if your like me and stay 15 minutes away.
P. M.
Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre has a varied number of shops and dining experiences.

Lots of variety, lots of options for shopping. It's cold in the winter - it's basically a wind tunnel. There is still a lot of development that has recently opened - a cinema and food places mean that you can stay there all day and evening.

Very busy parking was difficult
M. D.
Plenty of shops to suit all age groups and most importantly of parking spaces.

The only thing missing is a Primark, I'd shop here more if there was one
K. B.
M&S very well organized. No problems shopping in all departments
C. T.
Wide variety of shops and food outlets. Not enough shelter from rain.

I like the Fort because it doesn't have a big roof over it. it's not in city centre which means free parking, for me is a massive plus. If "THEY" whom ever they are started charging to park I think I'd just go somewhere else! Same stores as the complexes in city centres but you don't need to pay through the nose for parking.

Love this wee place, mainly as its outside. I like the variety of shops, everything I need in one area.
A. A. S.
Great place for shopping. Badly needs a Primark.
R. H.
Not too busy in the morning. Shops seemed to be doing a good job with social distancing and other covid measures. Really liked the wee Greek gyros stand.
R. M.
Lots of shops. Good for holiday sales, or just a saunter about.
Each end even has restaurants & food options, plus the Vue Cinema makes this space a decent opportunity for a day out
N. S.
Great variety of shops, restaurants and coffee shops too. Can find pretty much what your looking for here. Also right next to Morrison's shopping too! Right off motorway easy access from both sides. Great!
J. B.
It was ok, cinema wasn't open. 🥺
M. B.
I do like the Fort but the shops are a bit samey and boring.
k. S.
Great place to shop and eat when its fully functioning. Parking can be difficult at busy times. Good variety of shops.
D. S.
A good shopping park, greatly expanded recently. Now has M&S plus cinema and lots of restaurants. Still missing a Primark though. Can be a wind tunnel on a windy day. Free parking is a bonus.

Great variety of shops a shoppers delight

This is always a hit for shopping.with a good selection of varied shops and lots of parking made better by the recent multi story. Its lovely to be able to walk outside in the fresh air the only down side of this is the cigarette smoke.
J. F.
Lots of open spaces, not too busy, most shops open. Plenty of parking
J. H.
Only went for Waterstones Book Shop.
Lots of other shops for all sorts of goods.
Open air just like the good old high street.
Ah remember them.
But, somehow in my mind, the design acts like a wind tunnel.
K. T.
Great selection of shops offering good value. GPS users might take extra care as some units might take you to a truck delivery entrance and not the public car parking at front of all the stores particularly if you use the published postcode or ‘The Fort’
J. T.
Great selection of shops with all your typical high street retailers - River Island, Next, M&S, JD, Schuh, etc.
Fantastic food options for all budgets, occasions, tastes - Gregg's, Starbucks, Frankie & Bennies, TGI Friday's, Wagamama, etc.
Cinema and gym onsite as well.
Ridiculous amount of parking so no worries there.
Be prepared to wrap up on a cold day/waterproof clothing essential if raining as there isn't much cover as it is an outdoor centre.
M. R.
Huge place, full of good shops to browse. Was there for a few days setting up Hawkin's Bazaar and got to know the place. Decent café/restaurants to grab a bite.
A. M.
You can find almost everything here.....it has shops, lots of lovely eating places and theres usually always something going on. Well worth a visit.
A. M.
Plenty of good shops and nice places to eat.
J. M.
The downside is an open air shopping mall built on a hill on the west of Scotland. Usual mix of shops. Has tried to go upmarket food wise but unfortunately they took away some of the most popular namely the Chinese.
Tiler facilities are limited and an abomination and poorly signposted.
Other centres are better by far.
L. D.
Open shopping area. Fair selection of restaurants and shops. Cash machine facility but no banks.
Best shopping Mall West of Scotland. Access to Vue Cinema. Ample car parking areas external and under roof.
Worth a visit.

I love 'The Fort' great shops, huge Next and Zara, cheaper shops too 💖
R. O.
I enjoy it here but don't get out much as I am disabled. When I was in less pain I used to go quite a lot but can't handle the big shops or ones without lifts as stairs are a danger I can't risk.
M. M. (.
Only went to thd Vue, cinema
P. S.
Very big shopping complex - usual range of shops and eating places. Free parking (multiple car parks) - can be difficult to find your way back to the car (note which car park and which area you are in).
R. M.
Plenty of shops and lots of quality clothes and products.
A full day can be easily spent there eating out and shopping.
J. R.
Loved it great place to shop and not stuck indoors
P. M.
First time out shopping as I've been working though all this got a lovely top a treat from my husband for my birthday the team are doing a great job.
L. D.
Great selection of shops
M. S.
Actually I very good selection of shops.
A good variety of food outlets.
Now has a cinema as well
Only issue is that someone in their wisdom built a shopping complex mall without a roof in the West coast of Scotland. 🤔
P. B.
Mid range of shops here. It does have a pound land and a sports direct but most shops are more upmarket. Nothing top of the range like Cruise but good selection of mainly clothing g shops. No big electrical either like curry pc world either.
