Reviews of Eastern Avenue Trading Estate
Brewers have everything you need for any decoration job excellent service top rate sales reps 😎
Went there for decorating materials for the first time and the two members of staff there, could not have been more friendly and helpful even carrying my heavy purchases to the car and putting them in for me.
A decent range of businesses although the dual carriageway means you need to be in the correct lane nice and early to make sure you can turn into them safely. Missing an entrance invariably means a lengthy trip up and back down the entire section of dual carriageway. Confusingly, some premises are accessible by crossing the central reservation, either with the aid of traffic lights (like Halfords) or without (like Screwfix).
Very handy for the paint and DIY outlets.
Access is challenging especially if turning right off Eastern Avenue due to the unclear road markings.
As others have noted, the burger van is in the most awkward place possible, restricting visibility when turning out and causing a bottleneck for traffic in both directions.
Otherwise good service from all the places I've visited on site. Avoid early morning and lunch times when it's at its busiest with trades people.
Great estate. Loads going on and very busy 😁 The road into the estate is awful as is breaking apart and full of holes. Also has ridiculous speed bumps which just aren't needed as if you drive any kind of speed you will shake your vehicle to pieces.
Subway, Greggs, what more do you need? Plenty of parking and a good range of shops.
Bumpy roads, great signage and all the trades nearby
I only went to one place on this estate and that was GMF to get a part for my car. The estate is easy to get to as long as you don't get stuck in the roadworks just outside of it. Once onto the estate, it's fairly easy to park outside any unit and quickly nip in to get what you need. I have been to several other places on here and it's always been quick and easy to get to which ever unit I wanted to go to
Bitdifficult traffic wise getting out of
Easily navigated, clearly sign posted ..
Picked up some items from screwfix, didn't order online this time, all in stock so was in and out quite quickly 😀
Very tidy when I was there. Good use of land after what was there originally
Some good trade shops but shockingly bad road surface and traffic in and out can be equally as bad.
Turning onto the estate can be an issue, but good parking, food available and waste bins
The road could use some care but overall quite easy to find and easy access.
There's a mixture of suppliers in the area offering multiple materials & services. The businesses offer specialised advice & solutions.

The most fun you can have whilst remaining vertical
Road really bad leading to estate, full of bumps and pot holes.
Screwfix is useful. The road is shocking and needs reservicing
I love shopping in the range and b and m. Plus over the road you have halford and McDonald's ect ect.
Beware of the new speed bump on the way into the estate, it's terrible! and the overall road quality is just bad
