Reviews of St Stephen's Shopping Centre

First visit with family. Shops are nice, with escalators or stairs to take you to each level. Car park is on one side with glass bridges to take you over to the shopping centre as well as stairs. A weird experience. Kids loved it.
E. W.
Very modern, well laid out and spacious shopping centre. It hosts a vast array of shops and restaurants, a mega supermarket, and has easy walking access to the bus and rail stations across the road, Hull city centre, and a multistorey car park too. Clean and tidy, easy to navigate, and generally just a very a nice place to be! 🛍️👌🏻
K. G.
Lovely spacious atrium with shoots in both sides bit of a different shopping centre design. Linked to car park hotel, trampolining and food outlets, all chains. Personally I hated it but it's different. And very light and airy
W. S.
Plenty of options if just missing an upmarket brand or two. Everything is here though, food, retail, supermarket, plenty of parking, clean public facilities, cinema, gym, hotel and more. Ideally situated if visiting by train from the lesser cities of Leeds and Sheffield.
J. B.
Not massive, not Meadowhall, but excellent for what the everyday person needs. High street shops and places to eat and grab a coffee with a cinema. I visit every day just to look at what the amazing shops have brought in each morning! If you come to hull, make a detour to visit this fabulous high street with a roof! Being next to the interchange it is in prime location.

Mall extraordinaire. You can find anything and everything here
J. E.
Excellent shopping complex, many businesses inside including Argos, Tesco, The Entertainer, Build A Bear and Schuh. An excellent selection of food outlets are also housed in here, there's even a cinema and an arcade, what's not to love, there's even a vast amount of parking on site should you need it 👌🏻.
p. t.
Good parking and after 1830 it's only£1.
There are a a number of different places to eat drink and shop.
Also there is a cinema, climbing wall and trampoline park located In the centre
R. A.
I went to visit Argos to buy a couple of items. There are various other shops including Tesco. There is also a Cinema too.
I have never used the Cinema, but have used Argos and Tesco only previously. There is a nice pleasant walkway inside from Ferensway to the rear which goes to Park Street. No pun intended, but there is also a Car Park at the rear too. Not sure if it is time restricted, but is only for use by Tesco Patrons only.
My visit was pleasant all round and I got what I wanted. Job done.
S. Y.
Bright clean easy to move through if disable or mobile.
Toilets easy to access n plenty of them.
Parking easy n reasonably priced

Always a good hub for shopping at Tesco and other activities eg cinema and eateries. For anyone out of town it's handy for big hotels and Truck theatre. One of the beauties of Hull being a small city is that all the attractions are close at hand.
M. G.
Great variety of stores, good location in town, unique architectural design, clean and rarely any disturbances; could do with more eye-catching advertising such as the big screen at the west entrance
R. C.
It's just a shopping centre what more can I say
d. h.

Was having a family outing here but had a mental health breakdown and went away from the family and found a quiet spot where I could sit down. A security guard called Scott approached me in a calm manor and asked if I was alright. Then explaining what happened he helped me and supported me then when I was calm took me into the nandos restraunt where my family where. Very happy and will be feeling more safe within the centre from now on
A. A.

And very airy and bright
A. W.
This is good...for Hull. The usual homogenised list of stores found in any city in the country. Its ok, if you like that sort of thing.
R. D.
Brief visit, but seems OK. Modern but fairly small. Why close toilets in the evening?
B. P.
Easy parking plus lots of food choices and few great shops which all have friendly staff.
J. F.

M. C.
Good parking place for city centre. 4 ev charge points that are free of charge, on main level.
A. P.
Well appointed with a good diversity of shop a nice place to visit.
H. M.
This place needs more food/coffee options. The shops aren't anything special that I would travel in for, if it wasn't for TK Maxx and Reel I probably would not go in that often, it is also pretty cold in there during Winter.
b. o.
Very busy .shopping for holidays got everything we needed finished with a coffee . 👍👍
I. W.

Best place in hull to do shopping not a single cash converters in there
J. M.
Could be so much more...cmo hull you're better than thus.
M. R.
It's a shopping centre that's about all I can say. I am not a lover of these places and they offer me nothing whatsoever but having said that if you're a shopper it's probably rated right up there with some of the best. I am advised that there are some lovely eating places on the first floor and I believe it boasts a cinema, bowling and a host of other activities
S. R.
Busy on a Saturday but clean and spacious.
A. B.
It's a shopping centre. Has lots of shops. Most likely has what you need
K. C.
Plenty of choice, close to the transport hub, both trains and buses, the city centre is straight ahead, plenty of shops and eateries.
S.

A good sized shopping centre with plenty clothes and shoe shops to choose from including tkmax, jd sports, superdry, new look, there's even a huge Tesco. On the upper floor there's restaurants such as nandos, greggs and subway. There's also indoor tramplonies, cinema, indoor arcades and loads more. Definitely a good day out and alot to choose from.

c. w.
Very busy bur not much seating area for such a large place
C.
The Google says that Tesco's shuts at midnight.
Security here insists that it closes at precisely 10 minutes to midnight. bunch of sausage motherfrickers. Best tip up at half past eleven or sumart or there'll be No tasty treats for the lads here
R. H.
One of my favourite places in Hull to shop
J. Z.
Very busy most the time. If you get Tesco parking when spending £5, there might be a long queue down the escalator as they have a limit on the number of people who can be in the store.
Really convenient place to get groceries, have your eyes checked, get food, watch a movie - a decent shopping mall!
m. l.
Great place with decent shops and eateries, great parking facilities which are not too expensive.
S. “. K.

K. W.
So much to do!! Couldn't find any problems x
A.
The centre itself is great with a large choice of shops & restaurants and a reasonably calm atmosphere. However, some of the "security staff" are very rude in how they approach shoppers and almost immediately attempt to intimidate shoppers who don't rush to "comply" with what was usually an unnecessary request, and in reality they have no real authority over the public. These need educating on common law and what constitutes a public space and who ultimately funds such places. St. Stephens also need an update on how complaints can be made, and actually take them seriously instead of constantly attempting to justify their colleagues actions and suggesting laws was broken when they absolutely was not even close to being broken.
M. J.
Very crowded. Mostly clothes stores downstairs. Some good entertainment options on the upper deck like climbing, an arcade, cinema, and some good restaurant options
P. P.
All in one place.....Awesome place to gang out with friends ..
Y. M.
I go Tesco for shopping an few other places new look select tk makk card factory HM
M. L.
You can all sorts of products and services here.
D. M. O.
Some local ( seagulls )people throwing chips and chip containers on floor in front of all not a friendly place to go for visitors even though most locals were great here. Wythenshawe get your act together for a nice place.Grandfather came from here too accidentally arrived to Manchester airport to Ireland, covid test took too long.
Bang ! roll with it, top, mad, up for it, they don't say that in Manchester.
C. L.
Fairly new building, compared to other buildings in town.
E. a. B.
Amazing shops and great customer service
k. a.
There is some decent clothes shops in there. But becareful of the parking as you only get 2 hrs
K. T.
Needs more variety of clothing shops.
J. B.
Good variety of shops from rolex to tesco, clean public toilets too. Park behind the shopping centre 5hrs parking g for £1.90
A. R.
We visited Zizzi for my birthday. Great Italian restaurant and a fantastic addition to Hull's City of Culture status.
A. H.
Didn't get much chance to investigate but it is bright and airy. We visited the washrooms which are clean and well appointed. There are three cash points all next to one another - beware the one on the right - it charges 95p! There is a NEXT with beautiful chandeliers. There is also a Trampoline activity space upstairs which I am quite keen to investigate...
...we had to leave at this point but I believe there were many more High Street shops.
d. s.
I WENT IN BOOTS YESTERDAY TO GET SOME PERFUME. 10 OUT OF 10 TO THE GENTLEMAN WHO LOOKED AFTER ME.HE KNOWS WHAT TO LOOK FOR EVEN THOU I DIDNT KNOW THE NAMES OF SOME OF THE PERFUMES AS I WAS BUYING PRESENTS.HES A CREDIT TO BOOTS.
I. s.
Loads of shopping malls , supermarkets, beauty stores ,high fashion clothing sales, as well as eateries and children play areas. Great
C. D.
Really cool shopping spree...classy atmosphere..
M. A.
Great overall shopping center. Always clean and seems to stay on top of filling units with new shops once old ones have left.
S. B.
I enjoy shopping here for several reasons. Staff are great in the shops here, the security are really friendly and welcoming. They have clean toilets and the mother and baby toilet is really convenient although very popular so difficult to get in. The cleaning staff do a stellar job keeping the place looking great. Well worth a visit especially if you need a bite to eat.
I. P.
Nice shopping centre, with loads of high street shops. Tesco Extra, boots, h&m, king of trainers, flanus, Rolex, etc..
Truly a one stop shop, plus u gut free parking for upto 2hrs if u shop at Tesco Extra.. great deal
A. H.
Loved it .Variety of shops to chose from .
P. R.
Decent place to shop loads to choose from big Tesco inside plenty of places to eat, crazy golf complex rock climbing venue and a small arcade with bowling alley.
K. C.
Big airy, every shop and eating place I think you could want plus lots of activities to while away a few hours.
T. M.
It's as expected. Wheelchair friendly access, lots of different selections on offer.
Its not a very clean place to visit but it is a very busy place. Just watch what you are standing in and before you sit down on a seat, make sure there is no bubble gum on it.
Other then that, it's a pleasant experience.
Yes i would recommend st Stephen's shopping centre
S. S.
This shopping centre has some decent shops like boots, Tesco and superdrug. I love pandora but most of these shops are way too expensive.
J.
Since I last reviewed this, this shopping center has gone upwards in variety. Now a wide variety of stores are based around this center with some good food outlets and entertainment leading to somewhere that, while it isn't quite as big as Princes Quay, has more variety and activities going on to keep you wanting to go back, helped by the center having very affordable parking on hand.
There are still some closed stores peppered around that could do with filling, even if its just filling them with pop-up locations for seasonal events.
R. h.
This shopping centre is brilliant it even has a full sized Tesco's store inside. When I visit Hull I usually only go there for the food as it has a good selection of food restaurants the Chinese buffet is expected and very well priced. The parking isn't to bad either.
a.
Pretty good all round. Good variety of shops, Boots a real asset. Clean, bright and cheerful atmosphere.
G. S.
Bit intimidating from different ethnicities but all in all very good
B. H.
Great locatio, good mix of stores. Overcrowded sometimes due to its being narrow but other than that decent place.
T. L.
Plenty of shops inside food court upstairs parking fair priced can't complain
H. M.
This place needs more food/coffee options. The shops aren't anything special that I would travel in for, if it wasn't for TK Maxx and Reel I probably would not go in that often, it is also pretty cold in there during Winter.
P. S. H.
Worth a visit many stores there from phone shops, supermarket, cafes, toilets and disabled entrances. Easy access to trains and buses, parking at tesco free other parking 5 hours 1.90 good value
H. W.
Lovely shopping centre. Really well maintained and modern. Lots of shops to explore.
G. S.
Bit intimidating from different ethnicities but all in all very good
J. G. M.
Does its job, but nothing to write home about.
S. V.
Great shopping centre
J. B.
Good variety of shops from rolex to tesco, clean public toilets too. Park behind the shopping centre 5hrs parking g for £1.90
B. P.
Open plan entrances makes it easy to access the shopping centre apart from when its peak times, with a variety shops and a new interesting arcade you will be surprised what it has to offer. Has free public toilets, breast feeding and baby changing rooms which make it a breeze. Security usually posted at the entrance of the shopping centre so you can feel safe while shopping the only downfalls is the Reel Cinema, it may appeal to young children but for adults the screens may seem to small, some of the shops as well are a staple of what you see today, Next, New Look, River Island and Starbucks etc which is all great but I wish there where some more independent stores which you would get down south.
M. H.
Had a coffee at Starbucks, and watched the world go by ...
I. W.
Great place to shop, and while i understand the importance of social distancing ect during the pandemic, I'm appalled that no consideration as been made for the needs of the disabled, most of the seating has been removed, all the toilets including the disabled toilets are shut, in my opinion this is discrimination against the disabled or at the very least a lack of thought that beggars belief
M. W. S.
The leisure centre has lots to offer like rock climbing and a cinema! The food court has quite a few options to choose from but there is not a lot of seating at all. It's very busy at the weekends, especially Sunday. Lots of shops to go into although quite a few have closed down recently. Very clean, easy to work your way around. Good parking. Has a huge Tesco extra which is always very busy
H.
Always love to come here as the tesco is open late and so are most shops as compared to just in the high street. It's always cleansed there's a great selection of stores and food places to relax at as well as many places for coffee (which as all gorgeous)
M. M.
Good place to some known brands
J. G.
Nice but small shopping centre. The public toilets are easily found and accessable for wheelchair users as are the shops and eating areas there is a lift to both upper floors the middle has mostly places to eat while the upper floor has a trampolining centre. I went in the build a bear shop staff were friendly and helpful. The Tesco store is well stocked and quite large. There are plenty of clothing shops too.
b. r.
Shopping centres are much of a muchness around the country varying only in overall size. The chain stores don't differ from one Centre to another, but St Stephen's is quite modest compared to some that I have seen like the Intu sort. The main complaint about this place is down to its design and I believe that is why it is always a cold place and when windy it doesn't feel very welcoming. But it is an all round shopping centre with a cinema, restaurants and snack places, even a trampoline Centre, at certain times a performance of some sort maybe on offer. A big plus is the bus/train interchange right next door, oh and the centre has car parking, on the roof.
P. B.
Busy but secure and always parking available
A.
Very well stocked, easy access, 30 minutes free parking (or 2h for purchases over £5). Confusing product placements though, compared to other ones
S. M.
Love this place always popping into new look etc after my usual appointments in hull. To max is massive got lovely accessories for my home there. Usually go select was, don't us the next as another centre has am outlet which is better for.my little girl clothes x
K. H.
Full of shops from food to clothes, toys to barbers
D. H.
I haven't been to St Stephen's for a couple of years and did enjoy it. Next door to the train/bus station with a good amount of big name stores and a HUGE 24 hour Tesco. We ate here upstairs in the food court area and also saw a film at the cinema which was great value (£9.40 for 2 evening tickets). Really good if you want everything in one place. Only downside is the shopping level is really cold so wrap up!
L. S.
I went to vision express for my eye test
J. G.
A great shopping centre for Hull. Good variety of shops and plenty of options for when you're feeling hungry. To boot there's entertainment on the top floor for those that don't want to shop. Only negative it can quite often feel cool due to the design of the building which creates a wind tunnel effect.
M. C.
Good if you need Tesco, Boots, Argos...can be busy so wear a mask even after the 19th.
q. M.
Not too happy with the parking, you have to work out, when to reach the Tesco tills, so as not to be late for the parking under Tescos. And we get it wrong, because of the amount of customs at the tills and the many problems at the till that the staff are having to get help for themselves and the customers from floor staff!!!! 😡
L. D.
It's the best Xmas lights I have ever seen in there. It was covered with gold tinsel and clear droplet lights and crystal droplets. It was also done at a height you could see them rather than having to look up at the high ceiling all the time. Also most of the shops had decorated the windows giving it a good Xmas feeling, busy with people shopping and some good deals in the shops. Will definitely go again.
P. J.
Great place plenty of parking, although in the main Mall there is no heating whatsoever so in the colder months it is not very pleasant, that's why it gets tbe nickname St.Freezings
F. H.
A typical shopping centre but with restaurants on the 2nd floor and trampoline centre, retail shops and supermarket on the lower level. Parking reasonably priced.
J. B.
Good shopping centre with a wide variety of shops such as build a bear, next, h&m and a Tesco superstore. Can get a bit cold in the winter. Security are always visible and it's clean and tidy. Good toilet and baby changing facilities
M. A.
Mixed feelings about this place. I love the shops in there and the fact that it has a huge Tesco inside it. However, in the winter there's no heating which means you can't stay in the main open area of the mall looking at windows for very long. Management should really learn the basics of how to make consumers feel well and want to stay longer!
A. M.
Really pleased to see St Stephens ensuring shoppers wear masks and are enforcing it with staff at the door. It makes it a safe place to shop. Unfortunately they'll always be people who avoid following the rules but they're just selfish, attention seeking and stupid, but St Stephens are doing all they can.
N. A.
Very clean and tidy and and some staff are helpful
S. S.
Great shopping hub with a good variety of different shops and restaurants in the town centre. Can be very busy especially on the weekends, which can make parking almost impossible. You must also remember to get your parking validated, which involves spending £5+ in the Tesco store, then scanning the receipt in the machines before entering the car park, or risk reviving a fine.
j. j.
Nice shopping centre. Lots of different shops and eating places.
r. l.
All you need under one roof
E. C.
A lot of rebuilding going on creating narrow corridors full of people standing around. Selection of shops including a Tesco, not sure if there is a car park attached, thought there was but was forced to shop at the tesco as there was no option to pay for parking in the huge car park I found.
q. g.
I really love St Stephen's, it has all sorts, a good variety of shops, lots of places to choose to eat as well as multiple activities including trampolining and a cinema to catch a film. Good facilities, I've never had to queue in the toilets, even at Christmas time. I always have a nice time and a good shopping trip whenever I visit.
L. F.
Easy to find, cold outside and inside the mall 😂
J. O.
Lots of shops, a big Tesco and parking usually available - free with small purchase. Good shopping experience. Outlets for food, calendars, phones etc. All in one place convenient. Often visit when in town. Immediately next to bus station.
M. R.
Once a prominent shopping complex it now just appeals for clothes, clothes and somewhat clothes. Sure there's a few other shops but with the opening of St Stephens and even Prospect Centre not far away, this was supposed to be the entertainment area but instead we've got only one entertainment style part at the bottom and not much else. The food court still hasn't even been opened and that's been promoted for two years now. Shame really as there are some good shops and the cinema but..
R. M.
Lovely clean place to shop, plenty of choices. Large Tesco store a bonus.
N. M.
Number 1💯👍
L. S.
Good shopping centre with many common high street clothing shops. Food selection could be more varied. There is potential for a few more, big name restaurants.
L. D.
Good selection of shops
M. B.
Best mall in Hull. Awesome and contemporary structure. Very nice mall with public transport and private car parking.
Good options are ok. Has big brands and a variety of shopping options.
If you are visiting Hull, then this is definite place to visit.
M. B.
While the food court is good, and there are some variety of shops, the shops are mainly similar types of clothes shops. If you like this, then you will enjoy St Stephens. The shops are currently under review as licenses expire however, so more variety may be available soon
L. W.
Nice modern shopping centre first time visited to take my son to a children's party at the later zone and bowling. Not a great deal of clothes shops just the usual Next,Peacocks,New Look and similar would be better with a few different ones but living in Brid it was good!! Starbucks coffee the best! Lots of parking.
P. J.
Clean, tidy and well presented with a good surrounding area for visiting. Only reason it isn't a 5 is because ultimately... I would have thought they would have made it into something a little more exciting than just a large/long expensive hallway... Lacks a little character from the untrained eye... Thats me.. I'm Sure it has more modern marvels than I can see.. But still... Bit boring as an architectural achievement.
K. K.
Good place for shopping variety of items. Has a car park which is meant for 30 minutes free. If staying more than 30 minutes then you have to buy something from Tescos to get a voucher that will allow for two hours parking.
D. P.
There's a good mix of stores, refreshments and entertainment in this medium-sized shopping centre. It still feels quite new, it's light and bright albeit drafty. It is well staffed and feels safe. The 24hr Tesco is handy. I am a fan of the Starbucks there, great service but wear a coat!
A. G.
Nice shopping centre, really clean and in an easy-to-get-to location. Not a great range of shops and the space isn’t that large in comparison to other shopping centres around the UK. Has everything you’d expect but isn’t that special! In comparison to some other not so great parts of Hull however, it’s a nicer space to spend the day!
J. T.
I will never understand why a shopping centre is so cold. Such a terrible design. Colder inside than outside. Good range of shops and places to eat and I love the pop shops. Plenty of reasonably priced parking available, if you aren’t shopping at Tesco.
A.
Great🥰 shopping centre with🛒 tesco and all the very popular shops 🤯
x. c.
Great and convenient place for shopping
K. T.
Everything you need. Shopping, food, cinema, massive cheap carpark, entertainment for kids and adults all under one roof. Everything is clean and tidy. No litter or graffiti. Can get quite busy at peak times but that's a good reflection of its popularity
M. H.
A small shopping center, good for a quick visit.
The best place in this center is the big Tesco hyper market.
The center has a parking, but you may benefit from the 2 hours free parking for Tesco costumers if you shop more than 5 £ in that shop.
Also, a low-cost parking is nearby. Very affordable!
T. L.
Plenty of shops inside food court upstairs parking fair priced can't complain
N. M.
St Stephens is a beautiful shopping centre. Not too large but has good shops. You will find Next, body shop, top shop, H & M, Tesco to name a few. There is a food court upstairs with a variety of food shops and a cinema/ entertainment area. My children and I love the mall, and it is clean and has toilets.
J. S. M.
I would rate 5 stars but one issue is the security. I was walking through until a security member stopped me and asked me for the location of my parents. I was very small but it had been the first time for someone to do this. I mean, can they think before assuming somebody’s age? I wasted a good ten minutes of shopping.

You can get anything you like from
G. H.
Vast array of shops to suit every visit. Opening times and prices are reasonable. The addition of a Tesco Extra means anything you can't find in one of the vast amount of stores, you can be sure to find there.
Toilets are available throughout the concourse and lifts (in addition to stairs and escalators) provide disabled access throughout the building.
There is a large amount of parking available, however, during peak times you may find that lower levels are full and may be forced to drive up a few floors to find a suitable bay.
J. G.
It is a great place to shop. The shopping centre was clean and the colleagues are very friendly to wait questions that you may have. I can not believe that there is a big Tesco inside it.
H. W.
Lovely shopping centre. Really well maintained and modern. Lots of shops to explore.
R.
Shops are ok but maybe don't meet everyone s requirements. Very large Tesco located at one end which is great for shopping or a coffee pit stop.
St Stephens does get very cold in the winter months, it honestly feels like your still outside so wrap up warm in winter.
P. C.
Only went to one store but the whole centre seems to be well run, clean and not overly busy.
R. A.
Come shopping here often, other than the security guards trying to act like they've been working protecting the us president their lives, the place is brilliant. You can find many things to do here, cinema is great, clothing shops are spot on. Theres too many phone shops and a hefty Tesco's which comes in handy. Also it houses the only argos with more than 4 products in stock.
S. R.
Well presented and spacious. Unfortunately the range of shops is relatively small and is made of of shops which are relatively common in the surrounding area. Admittedly there are new areas being opened up at the moment so it will be interesting to see if the atmosphere changes and how the development is effectively the move away from a purely, but limited, shopping location.

Cheap drinks + cheap food = great night
I love it here, love a cheeky spoons
Brilliant for date night, family outing or for a proper p*ss up!
App allows you to order from your table! You can also pay on the app!!
Brilliant deals! For both food and drink!!
Would recommend!
P. M.
Upscale shopping area with cinema eating court with restaurant and Tesco extra
S. B.
There are plenty of stores to go to ranging from everyday shopping stores (Tescos) to clothing stores (Next, Top Shop etc).
There is a food court in the mid section and upper floors. On the top floor there is a cinema (Reel) which is reasonably priced too :)
For kids there is a toy shop, The Entertainer, and an indoor trampoline park.
Boots has recently moved into the building merging two smaller stores in to one large store ^_^
P. C.
It was actually a nice place to visit (the people just made it awkward when a homeless person tries to get in your face. But the shopping centre can only do so much) it's better than a lot of shopping centres I've been to. I actually wish my shopping centre with the food court it held too was in my city!
P. W.
Big airy shopping centre with all the usual shops you would expect also incorporating a food court and cinema
L. D.
Decent choice in shops & only getting better as the years go on. Definitely needs another set of doors as each end though like an airlock and the entire shopping centre is like a wind tunnel if there's even the slightest bit of wind, not to mention how bloody cold it gets as well. My advice is to head to the oversized Tesco Extra and stay warm in there. By the time you have worked your way down half the isles you will have completed a half marathon, sweating like mad and wishing for that cool wind tunnel that you hurriedly escaped earlier. There is no winning with temperature in this place.
There are plenty of food choices within St Stephens, you should be able to fulfill whatever cravings you are having. From Nandos to Subway, El Taco Loco to Real China or just something simple like a classic Gregg's or Burger King. There is something for everyone.
S. C.
Great shopping centre - boasting all the best brands.

A. K. O.
Nice place with good shops and parking for very quick shopping. 👍
G. S.
Really nice building, can be cold in winter though. A lot of stores that I used to go there for have now closed or left the centre and they are either being replaced with stores that seem to have little interest or are boarded up. Very clean centre, and very nice selection of restaurants in the Upper floor.
P. W.
Great place for shopping. Specially tesco, Argos, etc. Will update with photos soon
J. C.
Got some of the big shops and chain food. But no more unique than any other big shopping centre. Not bad, but not great either. Pretty much what you’d expect.
It has got a replica of Amy Johnson’s plane, so it’s got that going for it, which is nice.
b. a. m.
This place is ok for shops and new shop opening all the time. It is not flat and from the train station end of it is a walk up hill to the Tesco shop. The toilets are half way up the street but are very clean and some disable toilets with baby changing once. Only thing is it is very cold in the winter and to hot in the summer. Place to eat also up on first floor by lifts. Cinema looking a little old now and run down but cheap.
J. W.
Great place for shopping and food
I. B.
Relatively peaceful. People behaving themselves by observing the stores rules. Lots of products and new items.
H. L.
Went to wok n go then reel cinema. The cinema visit was a first for me staff was pleasant and helpful I won't hesitate to go again thoroughly enjoy it
S. A.
Nice shopping centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Can be cold walking through the centre.
Ample of parking available.
Easy access from the city centre and train/bus station.
G. P.
Great place to shop, clean, plenty of room even when it's busy and a wide variety of shops. Easy to find what you came for and can even form a day out, as there's a; cinema, Tesco, toyshop, clothes shop, trampoline park and restaurants.
S. W.
Great variety of stores
M. T.
My favourite place to go to in Hull.
C. W.
Great shopping centre but the parking is not!!! The parent and child parking spaces are atrocious, very limited, a huge massive car park and they only have 2 spaces in every other bay, loads of disabled and millions of normal parking bays, why can't they designate more bays for this on both sides of the car park, it's ridiculous, clearly not been thought through properly when built and a bit unfair to parents with small people and prams.
W. T.
This place is not as big as meadow hall or other shopping mall but you can find a big tesco inside and other clothes and toys shop. Theres also a laser station (arcade station), rock up and gravity where children and whole family can enjoy an activity as well as cinema as entertainment. The parking is cheap at the back which usually i pay £1.90 and thats for 5 hrs.
R. I.
Excellent place to shop with different outlets to choose from 😀
E. F.
I hate shopping at best of times during these times I like it even less it was a needs must visit too tesco. but has plenty of parking and other shops and facilities for everyone
T. M.
Visited the large Tesco store inside St Stephen's but also had a walk round. Not a great deal of shops but it was still busy. Next to the train station so easy access
K. H.
Its ok but to me has no personality, shop range isnt too bad. Theres a big tesco but seems really dark inside to me. Theres a nice starbucks and nice few places to eat to suit any taste and theres also a cinema.
A.
Love the variety of shops, all in one centre. Thumbs up
B. D.
Just shops not for me tho
j. r.
Great place in the heart of the city next to the train and bus station. With a variety of shops including a large Tesco extra. On the top floor has a multi screen cinema. In addition there's a gravity trampoline park next to the centre. Well worth a visit, wether it's shopping, cinema, some fun with the kids,a bite to eat in the cafes, there's something for everyone
a. Z.
Good place to shop with a selection of varying shops. An ample number of food options from fast food (Gregg's and subway) to lower-midmarket sit down restaurants like NYC and Hand made burger Co. Lots of places to sit down, public toilets and WiFi available.
D. M.
Great place for anyone visiting or living in and around the city centre, wide variety of shops, from perfume to jewelry and from clothing to mobile phones and accessories, and if you want to see a movie or you're hungry, there is a food court and cinema upstairs, got a car? No problem also has ample parking for a reasonable fee
L. S.
St Stephens has everything you could want in a modern shopping centre. Big brands in clothes, food and entertainment. Hosting a cinema and trampoline park as well as many clothing retailers such as Top shop and Next. Relatively cheap parking which is made free if you decide to spend £5 at Tesco. There is a variety of food spaces too, ranging from fast food like Burger King and Work & Go to more sit down places. Worth a visit if you're in Hull City Centre.
A. D.
Good collection of shops and some big names. Some decent eating out options as well. House to the Biggest Tesco in the area. Since Tesco has reserved parking only for its customers, the usefulness have come down a bit.
J. H.
Lovely place, brings life to Hull.
D. N.
Good mix of shops and also eatiers
S. P.
Great shops
T. M.
It's as expected. Wheelchair friendly access, lots of different selections on offer.
Its not a very clean place to visit but it is a very busy place. Just watch what …
M. T.
Large shopping centre with a good choice of retail outlets. Plenty of parking.
L. D.
Really busy but good selection of shops
I. B.
It is what it is a shopping Centre but good quality
A. M.
Fun and place to shop.
L. H.
I like coming here to have a look around the shops or having a bite to eat up stairs. I like going into the cheks shop were you buy used DVDS or games ipads you name it. They mend scratched dvd or game discs and other stuff that people have traded in. All in all good shops fine food and drink upstairs.
R. J.
Good range of shops
D. M.
Always had a soft spot for St. Stephens after winning £100 gift card when they first opened!! Nice variety of shops now (though a shop dedicated to DVDS, Blu rays and games would be nice. Plenty of seats and they have a burger king!!!
D.
Convenient shopping centre located by the city centre and nearby train station. Usually open all hours of the night to accommodate the 24 hour Tesco but usually most other shops here close at around 5pm.
There is an upstairs area containing several food outlets such as Burger King, Subway, Greggs, Wok 'N' Go. They did have a Starbucks but it's been shutdown. I read a news article that this is related to a plan removal of the central wooden section in the upstairs and remodel of the shopping centre. It also said that any shops that would be affected by the remodel would be relocated - we've seen this already with one of the barber places located within the wooden frame on the downstairs level which has since replaced the Hull FC merchandise shop.
The centre contains several clothes shops like Next and H&M and a number of phone shops too like a Carphone Warehouse and I think, a Three store. I usually only really use the Tesco here and some of the fast food establishments on the top layer. The place has cleaners to keep it clean and security staff to deter antisocial behaviour and so nothing bad ever really seems to happen here (at least not that I've seen). I will point out that you should be careful when travelling later in the day or evening if your exit route is the other side from the city centre/train station as sometimes anti-social behaviour occurs here either via younger people or drunken people - however, keeping your head down and walking past usually is enough to deter anything from happening.
It's probably a main route, I'd say, for a lot of people of getting to the city centre from either Sprinkbank or Analby Road.
R. B.
If you park at the back remember to spend £5 at Tesco for your ticket out or you get a fine.
R. B.
Getting better now they are removing the clutter from the main aisle, still a few bits to go. Could do with a few more seats, and some fresher air.
J. Y. (.
Variety of shops, eateries and a cinema. Tesco superstore. Extremely busy on a Saturday.
L. H.
It's OK shops are good but the cafes are cold because the shopping centre is meant to be like a high street.... I wouldn't sit out drinking coffee on a real High Street in the winter 😁
But that's me being picky because I like cafes, everything else is good
M. Y. S.
Wide variety of different shops; excellent parking area.
D. B.
Always freezing cold in winter. I understand its meant to have a low carbon footprint but the entrances could at least be designed in such a way that it doesn't function as one giant wind tunnel. It's almost impossible to enjoy a drink or snack at any of the food outlets in the main shopping area as it's too cold.
A. L.
St Stephens is such a great place for a family day out they have a wide variety of shops from Superdrug to flannels and Rolex they also have a good court which contains wok and go or if you fancy fast food they have burger king or of your taste buds are quenching a all you can eat you can go to real China in my opinion I think this shopping mall is amazing and I could spend all day in it I would rate this a 9.5 put of 10 only because it does get quite cold
t. h.
Ok and handy to park whilst you explore the shopping center and more. Appeared to e only one pay station. Better to find tesco car park and by some bread. Then you et 2 hrs free. Much better deal.
A. B.
It is big and there is plenty of shops but the majority are the BIG names and when I say big I'm talking about the prices. There is a huge Tesco and an Argos which is nice though. Unfortunately the centres Sports Direct is leaving for pastures cheaper to rent in the near future. St Stephens looks good and feels good, but for most, it is out of our price range.
G. M.
Reason for minus 1 star because Starbucks isn't no longer in St Stephen's. Plenty of parking places. Very clean shopping centre. There is toilet facilities for babies and disabled.
L. S.
Good shopping center with a wide variety of shops. Good food court and a cinema. Lots of paid parking available. Separate free parking for Tesco customers with a minimum spend of £5.
J. A.
Shopping in Hull is a relaxing experience. St Stephens is always extremely busy but you get no trouble, security is first class they are very smartly dressed so you can identify them if you need any assistance. You even see lots of people in groups and just on their own just sitting on the grass, on benches reading or just relaxing no bothers them. You can have a laugh and a joke with the shop workers they seem to enjoy their work and are extremely helpful if the need arises!!
N. O.
Good range of shops
J. G. M.
Does its job, but nothing to write home about.
Ķ. R.
It is like a wind tunnel with shops. Not my kind of shopping experience. I go to Tesco and wok and go and not any other shop or store. Having a huge boots chemist is very bad for any shopping experience. Lost peacocks and sports direct and other stores that made it different but not now. It is a case of "less is more" but it isn't for me. So I use supermarkets instead now. Not Tesco all of the time.
M. D.
A nice, small shopping precinct, with all sorts of entertainment options available, including coffee shops and street food, climbing wall, laser tag, amusements, cinema... You could spend a whole day here and not run out of things to do.
J. L.
In St Stephens Centre you can get almost anything you want when out shopping. It's a warm friendly atmosphere. Always clean. Fabulous places to eat. The clothes shops are amazing.
D. P.
Some good shops here but its very small and can be covered off within about an hour, the superdry shop is a good size if you like that sort of thing and there is a huge sports direct and a costa dirtly over the road.
H. C.
Good range of fairly trendy shops plus Tesco superstore. Good eateries in first floor, plus cinema and trampolining. New parking policy at Tesco (must spend £5 in store) means it is much better now for quick trips if you're going to Tesco.
P. D.
every shops u need in St Stephens
W. J.
Fresh comfortable atmosphere? Lots of people about, With security?? A carpark below, free parking for 2hrs. Starbucks/pictures/shops all in one large open air place. Enjoy ☺
V. D.
I like this little shopping mall as everything is under one roof. It beats Freshney Place in Grimsby any day as practically every shop that was once in the centre has now closed. Freshney Place is just full of coffee shops and tack shops such as poundland which are ok if that's what people want but hardly inspiring is it
J. E.
We were in Hull for the Half-Marathon, and the security staff were extremely helpful with finding a toilet for our grandchildren. A pity the retail mix in the centre is so poor, and the selection in shops so limited. The Body Shop was the worst I've ever encountered.
d. l.
Nice shopping center, great location very nice food court and cinema that’s only £4. Only gave 4 stars because it’s always cold. Presuming based on its construction when it’s cold, windy and snowing etc the wind blows through the center. Also cold in the food court.
L. E.
Great shops very cold and not mother baby friendly in wcs asked if I could go in disabled people toilet as had new born baby in pram and two year old on reins couldn't fit us in normal toilet. Was refused because they complain apparently they have key I don't, toilet attendant said all look after them while you go, am I goner leave two babies with a stranger don't think so!!!! Re think please had to look elsewhere tescos didn't have problem!!
T. M.
Lots of good shops. Ample parking during off peak times but is a tad expensive. Unofficial car parks exist With their own conditions.
Like a wind tunnel in winter that makes it awful temperature wise.
P.
Nice to look at. Some decent stores. It's best feature is the array of food and drink available. Some really nice restaurants and the cinema, although small, is nice and reasonably priced.
Gets ridiculously busy during peak times. Nowhere near enough car parking, despite there being two carparks. The parking near Tesco requires a £5 spend (in Tesco) as a fee. St Stephen's (main) carpark is nearly aleays full if you arrive any later than noon, and the spaces are tiny. We have a city car and struggle to open the doors.
P. M.
Forever cold in this place, Plans are in pipe line to alter this and make it warmer...Fingers crossed. Some great shops, restaurants etc in here. Parking is only £1 after 6pm unless your eating or visiting cinema then its FREE
S. R.
St Stephen's is a shopping centre all under one roof with a wide range of shops with a good variety of clothing, restaurants and entertainment very good disabled parking I would recommend it to ANYONE ❤️
j. k.
Not a bad shopping area. Parked in Tesco because I was purchasing something from there so got the parking validated. It's easier parking in there than in the other attached carpark. Just remember you only get 2 hrs and must spend minimum of £5 in Tesco to get their validated free parking. After that you will be fined.
T. D.
St.Stephen's is now 10 years old and has a good selection of shops. The wind of change is in the air as some will known names have left but on the other hand some new ones are coming. This place is still vibrant.
R. C.
It has a variety of shops including a food court and a Tesco Extra, It was clean and so were the facilities, the shopping centre has recycling bins and seems to be very eco friendly
M. M.
Goog quality recommended brands clean and tidy place.
Few little daft discomforts.
- got to spend at least 5£ to avoid penalty ticket for living your car on car park.
- Most the times bussy female's toilets.
- Nice place for family day out to have a good fun and something tasty to eat in one of few restaurants.
- Gym and cinema on top floor.
S. L.
Architecturally stunning, especially when lit in a veritable rainbow of colours at night. Large selection of eating places and also a cinema as well as retail outlets, which to some extent take second place despite it being a shopping centre. Handy location for Hull city centre and main railway station with capacious multistorey car park attached.
B. H.
Great shops and I love the open atmosphere. It's not closed in like most shopping areas can be. The shops I visited had friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to please. All in all a great experience 🙏
A. S.
I was not a fan whenbthis place first opened, now I believe it is one of the nicer places to shop in Hull. There is a good range of shops and eateries and you can pick up you groceries while you are it it. Central town location with parking and it has good access to other shops nearby.
M. G.
Staff are always helpful, wide range of shops with clothing, food, phones. I love coming to this place for the cinema and arcade upstairs, good place to spend some free time and meet up with friends.
I hope they keep Amy johnsons gypsy moth suspended, I feel like it belongs here, more open than the station and looks good against the glass roof.
- Meggan G
L. S.
My favourite place to shop in Hull - clean and modern - more than just shops.
There are loads of parking spaces at St Stephens, at both the high rise structure and behind the Tesco Superstore at the back of the shopping centre. The price for parking is not unreasonable either, and if you shop at Tesco you get a parking voucher.
There are lots of fashion outlets, home stores and technology shops but not much else. On the first and second floors there are lots of eateries, for both a quick bite and a meal out, as well as a cinema, a trampoline park, an arcade and a climbing centre.
S.
Nice and clean as per usual. As you can see I could find places to seat and relax makes change for an Shopping centre.
K. E.
Great place to shop with a great range with a Tesco which sells every thing from food and beverages to clothing and electrical products. Right down to a build a bear shop for children, if it's gifts your after this is the place to start.
T. W.
Great range of places to eat, shop and play, always clean and staff are incredibly helpful! There is even a place where you can get food on a paleo diet which is a rarity in Hull. Handmade burger not only has gluten free options and grass fed beef but it also let's you swap out the gluten free bun for vegetables. The whole place is accessible and the is a changing places toilet meaning that there is a hoist and changing table available for people who cannot use a toilet and cannot transfer.
M. U.
Busy multiple shopping area in the heart of the city very very busy at all times.
T. O. T.
Great range of shops. Cinema ..trampoline park etc hundreds of parking spaces. Always kept tidy and clean everywhere you go. Plenty of food shops and cafes loads of parking .
J. T.
Great shopping centre, with good car parking a hotel, for all your shopping needs. Cinema and lots of places to eat inside. Not to big to walk through, great access for accessibility issues.
M. K.
This shopping centre is easily accessible by car, train, bus, bike and also on foot from the city centre. The parking lot offers many spaces "free of charge" for 2 hours. It's not entirely free of charge as you have to go to Tesco and make a £5 spending to get a ticket to be able to get out of the car park. Bear that in mind as you may end up queuing for a while and getting late to your car.
m. g.
Very clean and tidy. Facilities well signposted. Just why are the escalators down to the parking level never working. Always seem to be one of them stopped
S. L.
All your shopping needs.
G. B.
Lovely shopping centre with a good range of shops, entertainment and food outlets.
J. S.
The range of retailers is good, covering most eventualities, and the food options are varied and pleasent. Now to the problem, I don't know who designed the place but I suspect they used to design a wind tunnels, this is pleasent in the few weeks of summer but in winter it just exacerbates the coldness of the long, high, corridor like space. This coldness detracts for the winter shopping experience, as one enters the calmer air of a shop, followed by the wind tunnel, rinse repeat. Now I'm no expert on shopping centres but I would assume that amongst the design critera, keeping the patrons dry and warm are high on the list, unfortunately in the winter St. Stephen's fails at one of those.
M.
Good parking with excellent cinema, and clothes shops, however the place seems limited unless you want food then there is plenty to choose from, then on weekends at both front and rear entrances you are met with charity workers and sales people trying to stop you and sell you there product, if you manage to pass these sales people you are then met with the same type of sales people right in the center not far from the stairs where people are resting trying to sell you SKY products.
E. C.
It's a got everything you may need really; food, supermarket, clothes, toilets, cash machines, cinema screens, coffee, people, lots of people. It's just, well, I personally don't really need those things all in one place. I like them to be separate.
Y. D. Q.
Large shopping centre with a great variety of shops including Tesco Extra, TK Maxx, JD Sports, Next, Topshop and TopMan, Three, EE and many others. Restaurants are on the higher levels, as is the Reel cinema and a 24 hour gym!
T. B.
Plenty of top highstreet brands here, topshop, lipsy, super dry etc. Main tesco store, argos and loads of others. 2 hrs parking is free if you spend at tesco or there is a cheap nearby outside carpark if stopping longer. Would be 5 stars but the location next to the bus and train station, whilst convenient for visitors, attract away from the main natural shopping centre of Hull and has had a bad effect on the more traditional high street shopping previously centred on Victoria Square. Bad planning decision by the council has left the city centre divided without a focal point leading to many empty shops in prince's Quay and whitefriargate.
J. 7.
Visited st.sphephen's with my family to have lunch at zizzi's for the last day of the 50 percent off deal and it's the best part of Hull for shopping as the rest of the town looks run down with lots of shops shut down with homeless people scattered about and it's a shadow of it's former self..
A. B.
Nice shopping area, wcs central in building. Not keen on the car park.. also Tesco carpark is ok proving you get a ticket from in store and have to spend 5.00 minimum. If you forget. You usually get a fine through the door. Other than that good shopping experience.
L. M.
Very busy place with all different shops and relaxing to chill in.
H. P. C.
Excellent for a quick shop if you know what your getting. Only downside is you have 2 hours parking maximum and have to spend £5 in Tesco to get a code to leave otherwise you get an £80 fine.
I. J.
It's not Meadowhall, but a good few shops in there. Some big named high street stores. I can usually get what I want. Park for free if you shop in Tesco, they issue with a parking voucher.
P. C.
The most modern shopping centre in Hull - covered, and full of a big selection of shops, and food places - including the Starbucks Coffee. The Tesco is a huge two-floor superstore - and the car park underneath is the best place to park for St. Stephen's. It's also bang in the centre of the city, so easy to walk from to visit other shops, the market, and the marina.
S. G.
The shopping centre itself is good overall but could do with some improvements, for example, more security, adding new shops in quicker when others have closed and setting up a nicer environment for people.
D. S.
It’s a nice place with big selection of stores, the only minus would be on how cold is inside, the temperature outside was about 4 degrees C and inside was the same, but overall they have you covered, if you want to get some house shopping there’s a Tesco, if you want to buy some clothes you got huge selection of stores, there are also many restaurants and coffee shops along with the cinema, supplement store, indoor climbing, mini casinos and much more!
J. P.
Good selection of shops, food outlets and entertainment. The new Rock Up is one of the best activity places in Hull to take your children! Modern shopping centre, very light and open spaced.
S. C.
Nice mall in the city centre. A lot of shops such as H&M, superdrug.. There is also a Tesco which is quite huge. Moreover, there's a good terrace and cinema, rock climbing on the top floor
H. S.
It's ok, very warm in the summer and utterly freezing in the winter. There isn't a great selection of shops anymore compared to what there used to be. I feel it's more aimed at teenagers now rather than adults.
J. D.
There is every shop you could possibly want here. Shoe shops, clothes shops, Tesco, Build A Bear, Argos, 3 Store, Carphone Warehouse, along with Café Nero, Starbucks, Wok &Go, Burger King, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Nandos, Press and Bagel Nash. There is also a Reel Cinema, Gravity Trampoline, Laser Station and Rock Up. Plenty of toilets and disabled access thoughout..
W. M.
St Stephens is ok you can actually move around I wouldn't like to be there at Xmas though not with this virus still about it's good in the shops with sanitizer at the door unfortunately a few where empty but go to st Stephens while it's not to busy plenty of sale rails ....
R.
St. Stephen succeeded in not sending any of its waste to the landfill, marking itself as one of the most environment friendly shopping mall. All its waste is either recycled or reused as energy. You also have electric car charging sockets in the parking.
you can find shops like H&M, Build a Bear, Vision Express, Argos, Tesco, Superdry, TK max, Body Shop, Wok, Starbucks, Subway, and many others.
Hope my review is helpful :)
P.
There's lots of great shops for everyone good staff in the shops if you need advice on things security are friendly and helpful.. And Amy Johnson aeroplane is there brilliant. Waring tesco car park if you park your car on there remember to register your car number plate on your way out using the tesco code number...
M. B.
Great mall although somewhat dominated by Tesco. Lots of parking below and lifts for disabled. Food available as well and access to the city centre. Fuel station is also available.
S. M.
An improvement over Princes Quay aesthetically the range of stores inside are not as varied. One thing I really couldn't understand even after all the investment how they can build it and it is so droughty and cold. Went for a coffee on the mezzanine and it was cold in no time!
G.
Best shopping centre in hull with loads of shops and placed to eat. It also has one of the coolest Starbucks I've ever seen in there, almost like something you would expect to see in America
C. D.
St Stephens is the newest of the three shopping centres in Hull. A unique feature of this shopping centre is that it is laid out in a long line more like a long Street undercover. My favourite vendor is a Chinese restaurant named real China who do a fantastic buffet lunch at a very reasonable price. There is a large car park that belongs to Tesco's so you need to spend at least £5 at Tesco's to validate your parking which can be up to 2 hours maximum.
R. H.
Good shopping centre with a wide selection of shops and a Tesco Extra.
b. b.
Mor than three but not quite four star. Small ish shopping centre with a couple of good anchor shops and a small food court. Clean and well kept, nicely decorated, open late and a huge tesco.
A. D.
St Stephen's is not my favourite destination if I'm honest. There is an ok selection of shops but it is always cold inside and leaves alot to be desired.. On a positive note though Real China buffet is a must if you are in the area
N. B.
Good selection of shops
S. B.
Not social distances in Tesco with customers left asap needs to have measure in place or we should go back to full lock down that's the only way

St Stephen is just about okay. It not the most inviting of place nor is it a place to go if you are averse to crowds. The flooring is smooth and polished instead of texture and therefore it is easy to lose grip even if your wearing shoes with a good tread. To me this makes the place dangerous. I find myself curling my toes in reaction.

Really busy but good selection of shops
M. E.
Superb selection of shops & eateries. Attentive & caring staff who know how to provide top class customer service.
G. W.
It's a great place so long as you don't mind being over a grave yard
S. S.
big mall with a lot to offer from a food courts with a variety of options, a fun arcade full of games and prizes to win, a laser tag and bowling area, Tesco which is 24 hours Monday to Saturday and lots of nice shops.
K. B.
Really nice shopping centre
A. R. c.
It's good shopping Centre but the car park roles have changed where it use to be free now you have to spend £5 or more to be entitle to free 2 hours car park + you have to validate your ticket before leaving still I would give it a 5 star as I do feel comfortable shopping at st Stephens :-)
G. H.
Nice 2 walk through without getting wet in the rain when shopping
M. A.
Good place for lots of shops and entertainment, plus eating venues. Parking is easy. Handy couple of minutes walk from railway and bus station.
R. G.
A definite must visit for shopping trips, a large selection of clothes shops on the ground floor like Next, Topman, River Island, H&M, JD Sports and plenty more. On the first floor you can find a selection of food places such as Gregg's, El Taco Loco, Nandos and even burger king. More recently a trampoline park opened up, which also has arcade games inside. On the very top floor there's a Vue cinema. The variation in places to go and shops to visit makes a day out in St. Stephens great fun and suitable for all ages.

Convenient 1 stop shopping centre. Those intending to spend less than 2 hrs may use Tesco parking as its free if you buy anything for £5 in tesco. Make sure u go to superstore parking for this.

St. Stephens, shopping center in Hull
Cleanliness is excellent, and there are good health and safety guidelines
There is a 24-hour Tesco store
Great cafes and restaurants
D. P.
Free parking for 30 minutes
L. B.
Plenty of stores to choose from, with public conveniences, also plenty of places to grab food, it's so worth a visit especially as it's in the centre of Hull so a massive range of shops outside of St Stephen's, also a few public car parks within walking distance.
m. c.
Busy mall. All the things
B. P.
Cinema, some decent restaurants, cafés, and normal high street outlets. House of Fraser, Debenhams etc just across the street. A big Tesco is there with free parking for 2 hours if you spend more than £5. Generally well kept, and safe.
J. C.
Not the best layout. Carbon copy of shops in Princes Quay. Needs new labels and more vision. Good parking. Bright, clean but not more than an hour's browse, if that.
a. p.
Fantastic toilet facilities. Good for dad's with kids with access to baby changing instead of putting the baby changing in the woman's toilet there is separate large rooms with toilets and changing facilities you can fit a family in.
A. M.
Clean and tidy shopping center, mix of clothing shops footwear and a jewelers also a large Tesco and Argos, upstairs there are a variety of eating places . Parking is owned by Tesco so some rules apply .
A. G.
You can get your daily dose of cardio in by stealing from Tesco. Make sure the tall security guard with a beard is on shift though, the others are too slow, you wanna sprint not jog, burn more calories.
D. B.
Free WiFi is fast and easy to connect to, great shopping venues coupled with places to eat. However found the food court could do with a little more variety
R. S.
There's a Nando's here which is a plus. The parking is expensive to say the least. Parking in Hull is a nightmare and this place is no different even though it is a massive parking lot you'll still struggle to find a space. The Tesco here is huge! Yet still couldn't find what I was looking for. If you're visiting take a jacket as this shopping centre is like on giant wind tunnel.
P. S.
Modern shopping centre with the usual notional shops also a large Tesco store which has it's own free parking if you shop in Tesco. After 6 you can get free parking on st Stephen's side if you eat in one of the varied restaurants or go to the cinema.

Visited both 3 (Three) and EE to research HomeFi for my naturist club, Yorkshire Sun Society. Told Lynn (3) and Funlola (EE) I was just there for information, not to buy today. No problem. Each gave me at least 20 minutes of their time without any sales pressure. Fabulous service. What a nice change.
C. B.
Free packing for the first 30mins in the "tesco carpark" - after that you will need to get your ticket validated instore.
Plenty of shops and lots to eat.
Small and pleasant cinema too.
A. N.
A beautiful tourist place and mall .
G.
Expansive with a multitude of shops and places to eat. Unfortunately always packed full of people and contains no stores for people like me of "larger stature". average prices are expensive here except for Tesco and tkmax.
v.
A clean and modern shopping centre with a good range of stores. It does have some empty units but that's par for the course given the current economic climate. Well worth a visit.
K. M.
Most places under one roof, lots to choose from, great cinema and food places
b.
Good parking.
Did not like the way people could just park near doorways and block off disabled area.
Should be controlled better.
Make sure you get the parking ticket at checkout.
A. L.
Always a good shopping experience. Not much available in the way of seating now though, even outside of the food places
m. i.
Centrally located within quick walking distance to train and bus station
L. C.
Nice range of shops light and airy. V well positioned in city. Not well signed in terms of what's on each level I ended up on wrong floor with buggy a few times
C. “. H. M.
Good range of shops. Visited this time for Tesco so used their car park. Always very clean and good security staff presence.
C. N.
It's a nice commercial center where you can find some of the most important and interesting shops in town.
C. P.

O. A.
Great place to shop, relax and eat. Highly recommended. When you visit, you can park at the Tesco but you have to have spent £5 to get 2 hours free parking.

Place for good shopping experience
A. G.
Great TKMaxx shop as always ! Just remember if you have a blue badge you pay to park in St Stephens multistorey car park...but not if you park in St Stephens Tescos car park and follow their blue badge parking insructions..#justsayin

I would say At Stephens is ok but I feel it could of been better a lot better, since its opening there has been a lot of shops coming and going. A few which are welcome but some I find and ask why we need it, food section is ok but could be better and I feel at Stephens should have been the center that encourage brand new food and clothing shops that Hull doesn't have. If anything and I have lived in Hull all my life I still find Hull lacks behind Leeds to far behind.
C. W.
Although there is less floor space here than in Prince's Quay shipping centre, the selection of shops is better. It's also closer to the train and bus station. Food court on the top floor.
P. R.
We have found it a Very cold experience each time we have visited..too many Open air eateries..need indoor cosy warm cafes/Restaurants so we actually went out of precinct to Debenhams restaurant to get warmed through.. Shops good.
E. R.
More food options than a 30 second scan through Just Eat.
B. M.
A business shopping centre will keep you busy shopping with the children around.
J. H.
Parking, parking, parking! What a carry on! Will be a desperate need before I go again. Used to be fine but new rules, signage and machines that found no ones cars and took forever to sort out with long queues behind as we all asked each other as all machines in row got exactly same things wrong
J. L.
Great amount of eateries and clothes shops. Very cold in the main part of the store due to no heating but other than that its spot on.
R. O.
St Stephens what can you say it seems to have everything if you want it, the place itself is always clean and tidy never heard bad language or any bother there seems a nice place to go shopping and safe, cinema, plenty of places to eat and drink and relax just go with the flow
a. s.
There are so many amazing shops and pleases to eat
B. L. (.
Great place, plenty of different shops and places to eat. I always park here when going into the town, plenty off parking spaces though it can get busy on weekends around 12.
K. B.
All good but having to walk around the long barrier to get into the entrance is annoying.
D. P. 4. R.
Great shopping centre, TKMax is there, you can find a Bon pan Asia restaurant, some knows what I’m talking about:) great food and service based in Hull
P. B.
A good selection of shops - with a nice food court. The cinema in the third floor is just a bonus! The screens are great. It's a great place to go for a day shopping
C. A.
Currently has floor markings to encourage social distancing, has a fair number of shops for its size with a good variety. Very central in town
