A really great experience. Lewis knew all about the new Olympus OM5 camera I was buying & was happy to amend my order to include / exclude lens to my budget. Finally when I collected the gear he was happy to spend time going through the menus with me as I had previously used Sony gear & everything was new. He was able to give me lots or tips & hints about the camera use saving me time & effort when setting up once I got it back home. Slight glitch by one of his colleagues with an appointment to visit but more than made up for by Lewis when I arrived. Overall a great buying experience & I would recommend this store to anyone wanting an Olympus.

Perfect experience at the Leeds branch. I was dealt with by Hannah, who answered all my questions, and applied no pressure. Called her the next day to say I wanted to proceed and she ensured my trade in kit was processed swiftly, a lens was shipped from another branch, and I collected my new items the next day. 5 Star service. Went into this shop on Saturday (and again on Sunday) because I want to buy a specific camera but other places either don't have it in stock or won't let you handle the camera before buying. I could have ordered it online but wanted to check out how the camera felt in my hands and test a couple of things before buying. The exact model I wanted wasn't in the shop but they did have a slightly older version of the same camera which I was able to handle and confirm my satisfaction. Great to have a photography shop with stock you can actually handle. I will now order the camera from Wex rather than elsewhere online. Also, the young lady was very thorough and helpful on Saturday when discussing Wex's part exchange options for my old camera gear.

Frustrated by the lack of good camera shops locally I decided to take a trip up the motorway and visit this store. Unintentionally my visit coincided with a 25th anniversary event in the shop which meant it was very busy. Despite this the staff gave me all the time and advice I needed to assist with my purchases. Not everything was available to take away on the day but the communications I received regarding the order were very timely and items were delivered quickly. Every member of staff that I dealt with during the whole process was very friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Particular thanks to Mollie, Hannah and Lewis who I hope to be dealing with in the future when I decide what lens to buy next 🙂

Andre was a pleasure! Supported me with looking at the new Fujifilm XH2 and XH2S and being the model/subject for autofocus tests and sensor comparisons. He also answered my questions regarding trade in’s and I will definitely be popping in once WEX prepares my quote for my old cameras. Store was clean and stocked well, Andre mentioned that items can be ordered to store to be paid for which is a great option for those who prefer picking items up. Overall great experience and would recommend.

I've been shopping at Wex Photo Leeds for probably 18-24 months and they've always been very knowledgeable and helpful, each staff member with their own particulrar speciality. Recently I visited and spoke to Hannah Reynolds and my experience with her has been excellent. I've been looking to upgrade my studio strobes and luckily for me, Hannah was the person to help. We discussed my needs, and Hannah recommended the strobes I actually ended up buying. What I found really great, as well as very professional, was that Hannah had followed up our initial conversation with a prompt email, sending me details of the product I was looking for. Within a couple of days, the strobes were in the Leeds branch, having been requested by Hannah. The following day, Lewis and Hannah set up a demo, which gave me the information I needed to buy them. I like the staff in the Leeds branch and Hannah was really fantastic, she has very good knowledge in this particular aspect of photography and her passion for the subject comes across very obviously. I could chat to her all day about it. Thank you once again Wex and thank you very much Hannah!!!

With invention of Internet and On Line Shopping, personal old fashioned service has disappeared. But not at WEX Leeds Branch, here staff are courteous, polite. helpful and knowledgeable which is becoming rare elsewhere. I would like to mention particularly Alex, Hannah. Charlie & Mollie who have all been extremely helpful. Store is very well laid out with plenty of stock and has ample parking. Don't usually leave product reviews however on this occasion I feel its justified. Having made a purchase from Wex Leeds recently....I can honestly say that the entire experience from my initial phone call to the store to reserve the Lens and collect it when it was convenient for myself was truly outstanding. As I entered the store I was greeted by Alex in a friendly professional manner and my reason for calling was dealt with swiftly. Not only was the store set out in an easy to shop way...the environment felt un pressured and at no time did I feel uncomfortable. Alex was extremely helpful to the point where I felt happy to make an additional Lens purchase whilst I was in the store. Called in to the Leeds branch to discuss trading in my binoculars in for a new pair. After a bit of negotiation regarding the trade in price we provisionally agreed. The pair I required were in the warehouse, and delivered to the store within 24 hours. I must say, that the staff that I dealt with on the two or three occasions that I was in the store were exceptional. It was a pleasure to deal with such friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking and an open airy shop with a wide variety of stock including pro' items that aren't normally sold elsewhere. I was looking for a Canon EOS R6 and they had one in stock that had been reserved for a customer who was going to collect the following day. They agreed to let me have the one in stock and order another from their warehouse for next day delivery, so went to and picked it up. (Edit to change review)

Just had my 1dx mkii repaired the main Dial was slipping wex sent it off to fixation got it back just over 2 weeks it was sent free of charge by wex to canon in London to be repaired camera came back fixed and was cleaned as well and there did a complemerty sensor clean which was a nice touch very happy with the service, so glad theys a good camera store near by now with people who know what there talking about.
