Reviews of Highcross Leicester
Y. S.
We came here to do some Guide Dog puppy training around shops. All the staff were really welcoming and loved seeing the puppies in training. The place was clean ,tidy and very well stocked with a good selection of different shops and cafes. It was quite busy but queues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would recommend a visit and the Park and ride was well worth using.
P. I. P.
Shopping complex with lot of choices ,highly attractive premise, food courts available, good products and great productivity.
A. B.
Thank God I topped up on nurofen before we went in, the women wanted to walk me to death. 5 hours in this place would make any man contemplate how bad would the drop be from 1st to ground floor. I mean it would be less painful than walking around aimlessly
S. M.
Good shopping centre, plenty of choice, generally clean n spacious. Parking is right by the centre but you do tend to queue and if you park in the old car park it's a pain to find a space. Overall good!
N. M.
Definitely very pretty and huge for someone like me who comes from a small town! There is a ton of stores to choose from and sometimes I like to stroll by. It’s great to know we have a place with so much stuff to access.
A. A. A.
A beautiful shopping mall in the heart of Leicester, with many shops and well-known international brands, a range of restaurants and coffee shops, and there is a cinema
D.
Great shopping hub, could be better with a gap shop as well but apart from that you have most of the big retailers in one place. Definitely worth a visit 🛍️
v. z.
a nice shopping centre but just a warning for any muslims or any other religious people- i had emailed two days before mine and my friends’ day out to leicester to ask if there was somewhere to pray. i was told there was a multi faith room next to JD on the ground floor. upon arrival we found out that
the multi faith room was essentially just a wet room? its definitely not the best room to pray in. we had to find somewhere else to pray as we were just not comfortable praying in that room. i have attached pictures. as a muslim, i think it is only good for washing your feet for wudhu as it is right next to the toilets. me and my friends were only visiting leicester for the day so had to quickly find somewhere else to offer our prayers.
A. P.
Annual light show. A must visit with family to see not only the lights but to explore the wonderful city.
R.
Nice shopping centre, it’s a shame so many shops have gone bust and are closed but I guess you’ve got covid to thank for that and surely it’s the same all over the uk.
T. G.
Enjoyed our visit to Highcross. Always a delight and a sensory fix being in Highcross shopping center.
V. D.
Cheeky little visit to Zara. I'm NOT a shopper!! However, having recently experienced one of their stores in Malaga, I decided to try my local store and was pleasantly surprised. I was able to buy what I was seeking and as an added bonus, was at a discounted price. Save to say I was more than pleased with my timely visit
J. W.
The shopping centre itself is absolutely fine but the people that visit have no respect for people with pushchairs or wheelchairs. Clearly the lifts are marked to give priority to these people but too many just push ahead and use the lifts and make these people have to wait longer. Highcross should have stairs fr the car park that are easier accessed by those who are able to use them
J. G. (.
Few empty shops at the moment but the newer part is still great. Apple store and John Lewis are still as good as when it was built. Plenty of food places at the front including McDonald's and some coffee shops as well as Indian snacks and a Greggs. Something for all budgets.
J. L.
Light, clean, not too big, good range of shops, restaurants, and recently, activities! I always park in the beautiful John Lewis car park which is pricey for the day time but is a great size (not your average teeny scrape-the-paint-off-your-car bends and spaces) , and has a great reduced evening rate and feels safe and secure even as a lone female going back to their car late at night. Particularly love that there is a wonderful restaurant area plus cinema, climbing and golf! Makes it a great area with lots to do and the fact that lots of the shops are open late-ish is really handy too!
S. M.
Good choice of shops upstairs down stairs where you can feel safe and free to tome around to your hearts consent. Toilets and cafes. All you need is money. Warm and dry and happy go shopping. Enjoy
2.
Standard shopping centre with lots of places to eat. Signage for directions etc, nice clean toilets cleaned on the hour. Standard shipping centre vibes tho, where did all the random shopping centre events go? Like that big robot that did the rounds a few years back, fun!
E. B.
Very disappointed with this shopping centre, thought that it would be bigger then it was, but was very small and a lot of the shops were boarded up.
Very busy, people were queuing outside shops to be able to get in, but you couldn't tell where the queue ended.
Won't be rushing back
P. R.
Highcross is a good looking shopping center, it is quite vast and the vibe is good.
There are many high street shops, car park connected to it as well.
At ground floor there is some food shops but in my opinion not enough for such a large place. It would attract more people, just check Fosse Park, its always overflowing.
Toilet facilities are good and accommodate everyone.
I think there should be more seating areas around the centre and less middle corridor kiosks that people aren't interested in.
Some stores are for the most part empty, apart from the usual big brands. I am looking at that massive waste of space store just near MacDonald's. Make it a restaurant!
And where Debenhams was is still very much empty too. Two floors! I've read somewhere its going to be student apartments? I hope not.
Have I suggested that would be nice to invest in food shops yet?
Also also, that Apple Store queue outside the shop looks something else doesn't it?
It's not a good look at all.
K. W.
Hello, loads of parking at the highcross and good spaces for parking as well (loads of room), also car park is really clean and safe for your car. The highcross has a lot of shops in, mainly clothes but some nice little shops for random gifts. Plenty of places to eat as well. We'll worth a visit, the car park a bit pricey but worth it, cheers
R. M.
Interesting architecture building. They have many famous tenant, the rest area is well with few chair also sofas, easy access, so far so good to visit here especially its almost summer.
R. B.
Quite a pleasant city centre shopping mall. A few empty units, but has some classy shops such as All Saints and John Lewis. Not too crowded mid week
J. S.
as a Londoner, I was pretty impressed with this shopping centre. 3 floors of fashion, lifestyle and home goods. The shopping centre is located in the city centre so its totally surrounded by huge choice of restaurants and entertainment
A. P. (.
So much better than Bullring. Cleaner and easier to navigate.
So many halal places scattered around to eat from
Great selection of places to shop from
P. M. H.
Good place for shopping in Leicester with all major brand outlets.
Open till 8pm.
There's spacious car parking available.
M. M. (.
Alot of shops an amazing experience
F. B.
Lots of shops that sell overpriced rubbish. You're better off going to Primarks and Sports Direct for proper shopping. It's ok if you're looking for niche items like bubble tea or blinds.
M. B.
Really nice up market shopping area
M. S.
Good customer service, problem solving. Quick response. Have great experience of shopping.Helpful staff.
R. W.
My second visit. The first while waiting for my "Boxter" to be serviced.
A phenomenal shopping centre. I guarantee you will make a purchase if you visit😆
M. A.
Beautiful shopping mall. Nice and clean. There is a small multi faith room with a water facility.
A. M.
Wide range of high street brands as well as more high end. Great place to visit with plenty to do for a family day out. Plenty of parking over 2 car parks.
J. D.
We visited as part of trip to Leicester. The area was busy with 40% wearing masks. The area was clean with a good selection of shops. This was our first visit on two years. It was obvious the changes that had taken place since our last visit - some good some bad. Would visit again when in the area.
R. P.
Looking for somewhere to drop off a parcel, a customer service chap stopped us at the information board and directed us to the customer service desk, very helpful. The colleague at the desk bent over backwards to help us, in my humble opinion, going above and beyond. Fantastic service, would definitely recommend.
T. J.
One of the best additions to Leicester in a long time. Vast array of shops to cover all your needs, abundance of restaurants and quick bite eateries plus a large cinema for entertainment. Public toilets are always clean and there are numerous maps throughout the complex to ensure you can navigate your way around. There is a help desk also. Definitely a place to go whether to window shop, purchase or simply for a meal.
J. W.
Good parking, easy access to shops and restaurants. A wide choice of retailers.
r. s.
The highcross is a really good place to go shop there is so much choice under one roof. Plenty of parking as well with 2 car parks. And out side you have loads of different choices of restaurants at St Peter's Square leading up to the high street. So what ever your looking for or find something to eat you'll be able to find something here.
A. M.
Visited Highcross back in July 2021. Overall it was nice and clean, staff were wearing their masks in the various shops I went to. There were a number of empty units however that seems to be the case everywhere (as stores have had to shut down)
J. Y.
Always good to visit. Plenty of shops and cafes. Can spend a long time just window shopping. Treat it as a day out, lots to see and great city to visit.
R. P.
Lots of great shops, all vying for trade. Found what I was looking for from a wide selection throughout the centre. A little busy for my taste but very clean.
Y. O. O.
This is the best shopping centre in Leicester. It is quite beautiful inside and It has a large variety of stores like New Look, John Lewis, Debenhams and restaurants like Gregg... There is honestly no better place than highcross in Leicester. The only issue here is the availability and friendliness of the mall staff.
S. W.
High Cross has a really good range of shops. Parking is also good and there is a covered bridge from the car park to the Highcross. There is a great range of places to eat and drink within and close to Highcross.
K. M.
Nice place to do shopping.
Many shops and variety available.
A. W.
Decent amount of parking on Black Friday. Not too crowded between 0930 and 1100. Good choice of the usual high street stores. However, there are far too many empty shops after Debenhams and others closed. Food choices are plentiful and reasonably priced. Overall not a bad shopping experience.
P. W.
Well it is amazing of course but you have to go there at the right time and day because boy does it get busy! Staff are amazing so kind, generous, loving and they do joke around with you; overall i would recommend it for clothes, and yes branded items. I would rate it 4 stars 🌟
N. A.
Excellent shopping mall with all of the major retailers plus much more. Food and drinks available. Lots of niche businesses. Very good supporting services. Easy access to car parking, city centre and the Lanes.
A. H.
Unfortunately, it hasn't recovered the loss of the huge Debenhams concession. That area sticks out like a sore thumb now.
There are a good number of units that are closed, some of them have been vacant since way before Covid was an issue. It just feels souless and a bit crapper than it was before. The shops that are there are nothing to write home about. It now relies entirely on the flagship John Lewis store to justify its existence.
They really need to do something to get this place back on track. If it slips much more, it will just give people more of an excuse to not bother with the City Centre and choose Fosse Park or Elliott's Field instead.
The St Peters area outside is actually pretty good. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The Showcase cinema is also very good.
T. D.
A fine shopping mall that is a clean, light and airy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of the usual retail outlets, good place to shop.
r. c.
loved it!!🥰lots of shops and places to go and theres always entertainment in the middle near the clocktower😁! lots of smoking though 🚬 and hardly any bike lanes 🚴😐‼️
M. J. J.
It's a normal shopping centre, nothing too bad and nothing too good. Multiple entrances from surrounding streets make it easier to navigate. A little too crowded and kind of bland in design.
I went to multiple of the shoe stores personally and have received adequate treatment. My questions were answered and everything provided. Can at least vouch for them.
J. S.
A good shopping center, w/ plenty of choice. It is spacious & also generally clean. There are many parking areas near it. A generally good shopping center.
S. G.
I’m a fan, always clean, good covid precautions, excellent shop choices. Beautifully decorated.
D. C. (. C.
Good to see the shops open again, visited midweek so not too crowded, great choice of shops and eating outlets.
D. B.
Don't visit this much, the high Street is a dying place. There never seems to be any atmosphere. All the big names in here, with their usually high-priced tags, it's clean, and you can get food, but at the end of the day it's just a indoor shopping centre.
B.
Nice and clean shopping centre. Unfortunately a lot of shops have closed down (covid). But still a good selection of shops.
J. N.
This is a big enough indoor shopping centre from first built as the Shires containing lifts and facilities it has a good variety of shops. Sadly though a lot of its well-known shops have now gone. Debenhams, simply Be, Thorntons 'chocolate heaven since 1911' 🙁. Has a good sized car park although a lot of spaces closed at the moment as building works going on, There is also the John Lewis store @ the far end & it's associated car park across the bridge.
P. S.
It's a shopping centre...not being a big shopper, one shopping centre seems much like another, but it had an interesting combination of outdoor space and indoor shopping, so good in that way 👍🏽
J. B.
Today I visited the highcrossed with my partner and daughter, I went to the family room to change my daughter and there was a 3 teenage boys in there chilling, then another parent with his disabled child went in to be told to F off! I found a member of staff who called security who dealt with the matter straight away and couldn't apologise enough.
I was grateful for the assistance. Thank you
N. D.
Very modern indoor shopping centre in the heart of Leicester city centre. Great car parks nearby and lots of toilets and places to eat.
B. S.
Good shopping opportunities the Zara is not massive but well stoked, apple store and John Lewis is nicer then the one in Solihull
A. P.
Very nice place for shopping. You will get each and everything from apparel, watches, perfume, electronics, home decor and much more
C. G.
Nice place to visit when u lookingfor something to buy, food, clothing etc.
S.
Large shopping centre in Leicester City centre
Approx 10 mins walk from cathedral, historic Quarter
Large choice of shops, zara, boots, Clarks, etc
Plus eating places, McDonald's, Costa, Starbucks etc
s. b.
Some really nice shops. Good selection. Could quite easily spend every penny you own in there!
s. g.
Great Place to get Just about anything but your weekly Grocery Shopping. from Tech to clothing, Coffee to fast forl too.
M. P.
This place was excellent for shopping. Such a variety of retailers. I managed to buy gifts for friends and family and some outdoor clothes for myself. I was impressed with the expectation of customers to maintain mask wearing and use sanitiser. It felt safer than many area I have visited in recently times.
O. A.
Loads of great shops here. I think it's your one stop shopping experience in Leicester. Loads of things to do especially if you have a family.
C. K.
Great shopping centre - would be good to see more clothes shops
M. U.
Had a lovely afternoon in high cross . Not been in town 4 awhile .. but had awesome day .
M. N.
Only visited a couple of times as I'm not from the area but I must say, I'm impressed.
A good selection of shops, and some good quality ones at that. A nice food area outside with a good selection of restaurants.
The car parks have always been a touch busy but the digital display on each floor tells you how many spaces are available so you'll find a space easily enough.
You do have to pay for parking though but it's not crazy prices and I guess it is city centre parking after all.
R. H.
A typical modern shopping centre. Parking was good value and nice to see some seating around the centre.
M. N.
Clean. Hand gel in shops and dotted around. Lots of seats for weary shoppers. Standard shops and a few different oned.
A. I.
Nice shopping centre with lots of clothes shops and lots of eating place at the back.
Always very clean.
B. P.
very good selection of shops and a nice variety of places to eat. worth the visit.
F. I.
Nice selection of shops and pleasant shopping experience.
P. W.
Best pub in Leicester friendly atmosphere meal's served all Day wheel chair accessible outside seating area friendly staff all in all a great pub
L. M.
The shops inside are kind of overpriced. didn't find a single "good deal". Place looks relatively nice but wouldn't say its special.
V. V. G.
Is the best and I would say that pretty much the only shopping mall y leicester. It has some really good stores, is clean, and the restaurants outside are great.
G. T.
Clean and not busy. Beautiful Christmas decorations (2021). It's sad that a lot of the shops have had to close due to lockdown. I'd say it has half the shops it used to. Nice seating areas added and lovely shops to slowly browse.
A. G.
First visit, but won't be going often with the extortionate car parking fees.
E. B.
Nice modern shopping centre with a wide range of shops to choose from. Two huge car parks so you very rarely struggle to park although parking is quite expensive. Great choice of restaurants both in and around the shopping centre and also a cinema just outside too.
B. R.
Everything inside is magnificent. But the goods sold inside are quite rated high. When you get the same thing online so cheap.
D. O.
Good selection of shops
lovely and quiet when it just opens on Sunday
can get most things here
z. l.
Lots of shops clean and easy layout staff are very helpful
A. S.
Lovely location to visit. Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking .

Very happy shopping experience
🤶🎅🎄🎁
S. H.
Some really good shops lovely place to shop.
B. A.
Basically the hub of shopping experience in Leicester! Lots of stores with multiple varieties to shop from all under on roof! A tip: You could use it as a warm passage way
J. H.
I came here to have my brows done and look around the shops really lovely helpful staff.
J. B.
I do shopping all the time. Nice and clean shopping place.
M. R.
It's a shopping centre, it's full of people who don't really care what your doing and tell you too get out the way! Heck that's Leicester for you, lovely arrange of shops though
B. G.
Clean, but lots of shops closed down, went to body care, staff lovely and helpful,
S. T.
Great shopping centre, so many different shops and restaurants. Outside market also on a Saturday.
K. M.
Very generic shopping centre, good mixture of shops including JD, Apple Store and Zara.
C. G.
A large variety of shops and eatery. Great spot. Parking could be cheaper though!
N. B.
Light and airy shopping centre with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Parking reasonably priced.
M. P.
Busy, nice place to eat lunch or evening night out, good selection of restaurants and drinking holes, casino nearby, cinema
H. W.
Very impressed with Leicester town centre. Easy parking with car park ticket printing car reg number for you and pay as you leave so no chance of a parking fine
A. B.
It was noisy however, I am a mature member of society, I think! It certainly is a fun place to go.
D. M. S.
A cosmopolitan selection of very good quality restaurants within easy reach of each other in this pedestrianised old part of the centre.
f. d.
Nice place and clean with many shops and good acces as well for everyone.
N. N.
Big options of various different shops and styles of items. Great
S. G.
I visited Highcross as a tourist from Dublin. Some brilliant sales on at this time of year! I got Timberlands, Jewellery, hair care products. Anything and everything you need you'll find it here!
Food from SOHO! WOW! AMAZING and very cheap!
T. S.
Nice place for shopping branded things, and also for eating snacks and ice cream.

Great selection of shops, but always stuggle to find toilets...
S.
High cross is an amazing shopping center. there is a wide variety of shops, including the essential john lewis, debenhams, H&M, boots etc. There are also lots of food stores which is great, including MOD, TGIFriday and Frankies. There is also a cinema. The center was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the markets outside the center were nice too. the toilets at Highcross were big and really clean. overall great centre with great parking, perfect destination for Christmas shopping.
S. b.
nice shops but the accessible toilets weren't clean
D. M.
Nice shopping centre, plenty of great shops

B. L.
Great it now dog friendly...just need to advertise which shops they are allowed in!!
M. B.
The death of the high Street is creeping into the main shopping centres. Lots of empty spaces and closed shops.
L. M.
Big shopping center with plenty of shops to browse and buy from, has a few cafe/restaurant type places, and a chocolate shop which has a lovely smell as you pass by, excellent for valentines or a special occasion. Family loved the day and will be going back in future.
M. A.
High Cross is a nice shopping mall, with lots of space and some great shops.
K. A.
A huge shopping centre with lots of great pubs and shops for every need. Fancy picking up the latest trends or a night out on the town, well you can't find a better place. Open till late for those working late too.
Y. A.
Great place with many popular stores. Clean and bright and always busy.
S. B.
Lots of beautiful shops, plenty of eating places, easy car parking
A joy to visit
T. S.
Very nice centre with all you need and good shops
C. H.
Good shopping centre, but not as good as Lewis's back in the day.
2022
The shops have changed dramatically and I think post-covid are doing well. Very clean and plenty of sanitizer stations
S. M.
Good place to shop brands but wished there were more brands both cloths and cosmetics.
D. J.
Great shopping centre. Good mix of shops. A few dodgy characters hanging around but don't let that put you off.
H. S.
Lovely place for as a couple for nice cup of Cappuccino at the restaurant and shopping
M. B.
Really good selection of shops and places to get a bite to eat. The parking is good and spacious. Only thing that let's this place down is there's always some sort of charity or business in the middle section between the shops poaching for customers or getting you to sign up which I find really off putting
B. F.
A nice spacious shopping centre. There are lots of shops, and prices vary everywhere.
N.
Good shopping Center, dogs are allowed in and my child doesn’t like dogs
S. C.
First time in over a year since been into Highcross. Not too busy so nice to walk around without the crowds. Looks nice with the Christmas decorations up in there.
C.
Great shopping centre worth a visit for a day out
T. S.
Very good security system with child safety. My kid drifted away and was found in less than 5mins.
E. K.
Good place to go. The car park is not to expensive 😊
B. M.
Good shopping centre without lots of shops and multistorey car park. Ideal parking if you're want to do a couple of things in the evening as you get a flat rate if you come in after 5pm.
B. S.
Absolutely love this shopping centre.Big and clean.
S. A.
Beautiful shopping centre with a wide range of retail shops. Looks beautiful this time of year with all the decorations.
X. S.
Great selection of shops and restaurants 👌
S. S.
Love this area. Always shiny and beautiful and clean. Proud to say it's Leicester.
R.
Loved it. Best weekend away ever. Faultless
R. D.
Shopping is ok but the car park is a nightmare atm due to maintenance going on all over the place.
S.
Love the Highcross, so many brilliant shops I can always find something that either my kids or myself are looking for. And some great places for gifts at Christmas and birthdays. I don't like the town centre much but on quiet days I like a stroll in here.
G. S.
For a day out to look around and grab a coffee with your mate, was a lovely experience. However, everywhere was soooo expensive (in my opinion). We had to come out and go Fosse Park instead where we did find want we needed, but at a much lower price.
S. Q.
Very limited shops not much going on only good thing is some restaurants around the area
V. k. k.
Grand building at the center of city with all good brands.best place for shopping eating n refreshing your self.
F. D.
Nice clean mall, they might do something about mouth caps because now everybody just do as they like, it doesn't make me feel safe
R. k. R.
Great for shopping, evening dinner, movie etc. Only thing I day know why security forces stop you taking pic while not one but millions are on net by millions of pop.
Z. M.
This place has the normal high street chains that you expect to see in shopping centre of that size. There is room for improvement as there are loads of empty units. The original part of highcross seems little tired compared to the new John Lewis side. Parking for the shopping centre is easy and fast especially if you just want to pop in to grab something
H. D.
Enjoyed shopping with the family especially in H&M as reasonable price clothing for children whereas John Lewis is extremely expensive and unaffordable
V. H.
Fab little shopping centre and stays open till 7pm although you have to check some shops as they may differ
A. K.
Really Big shopping mall with all brands available within. Must to visit if anybody planning to come in Leicester.
k. i.
So many closed shops & not a big choice of what's left .
m. t. (.
Highcross, John Lewis building ( including carpark and amazing bridge leading to this place) what creat a St Peter's Square are the most beautiful location in Leicester. Unfortunately the planing department of Leicester do not understand it and let for horrible elevation finishing of the new residential development just across the road. What the shame for next 100 years ... ( Buildings has a long life, unfortunately in that case ).
K. K.
Great place to shop plenty of high street shops and places to eat and drink
B. A.
If they could have 6 stars, I'd give them it.
Brilliant food, excellent speedy service, Great value and great with our son.
The service was exceptional.
Love coming here, and will continue to come back
T. S.
Fantastic range of shops all year around from jewelry to gaming to the grotto at xmas, only gripe is to many people use the lifts in stead of elevators and it's difficult to go up or down a level when with my disabled mum or my pushchair but all in all a nice place to shop
V. B.
Too good for shopping
So many different shops to shop around
Our favourite shop is Zara, Next paperchase, H and M
Ted Baker and Lacoaste
F. K.
Although one way system in place due to covid. Disappointed that all sanitizers were empty at entry and had to press the button for ticket at entry for parking
D. C.
Excellent service plenty if shops
S. C.
Lovely time shopping in Highcross. Good range of shops.
T. G.
Clean, visually appealing and helpful staff at the information desk
J. K.
High cross is the best and safest place to park in Leicester
S. H.
Very nice place to visit, would say 90% designer stores with some eatery’s spaced around. Could do with some other types of shops but is set right in the centre of town so other shops are close by.
J. M.
Good centre not enough little weird shops
I. W.
The easy discipline of social distancing is still not grasped by a significant number of people. Good to see life coming back into the city. Still an acceptable shopping venue with some quality stores and famous names.
C. S.
Good choice of stores with a very modern decor.
T. H.
the place is uniquely beautiful nice has everything you need
I recommend to everyone
s. m.
Nice enough, nothing special but super clean.
A. A.
The John Lewis store there I thought was fantastic, shame that they are closing a lot of them down. A nice day out there.
😄😄😄
i.
A few closed stores not good but I think high rent is why so many close down. And most clothing stores are only for young people and of a certain size but not much for big and tall like me.
A. B.
Very nice for shopping. All in one.
R. K.
Love it here. We go every time we are in town. It's well worth a mooch around
c. b.
Lovely place to shop and lots of coffee shops
A. G.
Still a lot of empty shops and the ones which are open are not very busy which is sad
P. I.
Great range of shops and places to eat
T.
I've been coming here since it opened and I always like coming here to check out stores, mainly Tiger and Typo.
J. N.
Nice clean, descent shops, felt like an American mall over a UK shopping centre. As someone from Leicester originally shocked at how changed the city is, feels very run down Highcross has clearly had an impact.
C. H.
Good well spaced car park. Easy to get around and then straight into the city centre.
J. B.
Large shopping center with many clothing, food options as well as other things to do
S. B.
Heart of city
Nice place to roam around. Good place for shopping.
A. M.
Nice place... love the samsung shop
M. G.
The High Cross is nice and clean but in Costa the toilets are very dirty.
W. S. J.
Enjoyed my first visit very much!!
V. _.
Perfect for shopping and having fun time with family and friends, I been there before 7 years when I visited Leicester, I really enjoyed there
D. S.
Its a shopping center like many others, with a multitude of mostly chain stores, they do however host several themed, free, family events throughout the year, all of which have been planned and executed brilliantly. There are a number convenient facilities such as rest areas, vending machines, toilets, prayer room, trolley type cars and go carts for little ones. All in all its a very nice place to be
K. S.
Great shopping centre with lots of space and shops. Amazing architecture, situated locally so you are close to other surrounding shops. Great choice of shops as well with lovely staff.
A. L.
Nice and a lot shops. Very clean and I've never seen a full bin. They have a two way system so that people can keep their distances but some people ignore it ngl.
J. D.
Cheap parking and close to everything you need. Never any problems.
l. d.
Fantastic shopping centre with a great variety of shops.
R. B.
Clean location no street beggers or annoying shoppers ..
S. R.
Shops good, but so much crime in town and now knife crime I stick to Fosse Park and the Internet. Also the restaurants there are ridiculously priced. No wonder the place is dwindling.
r.
Love this place.lots of parking, bit expensive but worth full to pay.good to spent some wonderful time.
S. L.
The highcross itself is a nice building, well laid out and with clear and helpful maps.
There are some empty lots which is a bit disappointing.
Clothing stores here do not typically cater to plus sizes, but some online stores have a “check availability” option to see if the store near you has the item.
The Disney Store is pretty much permanent, so don’t be worried by the “temporary” label. The toilets are only on the ground floor which isn’t great imo, should be on both floors.
Lots of interesting places to wander through, like TIGER, TYPO and Bodycare.
A. T.
Lovely shopping centre. Great range of shops, beautifully clean even the rest rooms. Food hall on the ground floor. The Christmas tights this year are brilliant. Then the surrounding areas are a delight all day and even better when the lights are on in the evening. Plenty of parking
S. V.
Pretty expensive for the average Joe. A few handy/good stores but alot ha e closed. Covid safety system is in place but not properly followed as everyone just walks on the wrong sides, and security aren't really doing much to proventthis, so turns into a game of dodge. Overall its OK but not great.
A. M.
Very nice and large shopping centre.
P. M.
John Lewis store is brilliant...Xmas lights are lovely in high cross too..lovely area to shop under cover on a cold or wet day....
E. G.
Full of shops, parking a bit expensive here, all shops in 1 place, you can shop for everything here
M. K.
Was not too busy. Was third in queue. So didn't have to wait for long.
R. S.
A place of many and varied shopping outlets all pleasantly presented in relaxing surroundings. Nice, bright and modern without being ostentatious, unbecoming or brash. Car park conveniently connects to the shopping centre. Staff are available to assist shoppers with their enquiries and will gladly direct you if you can't find a particular store. Good, clean toilet facilities available and a faith room. All in all an excellent place and a credit to the city.
P. R.
A spacious shopping centre with the normal range of shops and restaurants. Parking was easy and good size bays - but can be expensive
J. C.
Just a basic shopping center, nothing special. Toilets were clean though which was nice!
M. L.
love it here especially at christmas it looks magical but unfortunatley theres no disney shop anymore! Very clean shopping centre with the best bubble tea kiosk!
C. B.
It was very warm and crowded. A big worry with the covid. Enjoy the shopping 🛍 with family.
J. C.
A lot of different shops all in one place. Very clean and easy to navigate which is always a nice bonus.
T. S.
Loads of shops and very modern one of the best centres I've seen.
F. W.
Good convenient parking next to John Lewis, convenient for the cinema too
T.
Feels very safe and covid secure when walking around with plenty of one way systems and hand sanitising stations. Also as a nice touch there are face mask vending machines so if you've forgotten one or yours has broken you can easily replace it by buying one here.
E. d. C.
First time I went there, I got lost. The very kind lady from the mall, gave me precise directions, which were really helpful finding what I wanted and getting out, too.
It's an immense space, with various exits to the various lanes, two of them, leading straightforward to the Clock Tower, a huge reference for those who don't know the city so well, like myself.
W. H.
Still a lovely place to visit and shop.
O. B. P.
Not too many Varieties
K. Y.
Lively shopping mall. Be it children, adults or 3rd aged people, everyone will find something to shop there which is affordable.
V. V. D.
Very nice and big shopping centre. You find a lot of different shops here. Tech, clothes, perfume, food and toys.
R.
Highcross is a great place as it holds legitimately everything you need. I went there on Saturday to buy some clothes and to eat something, and I have to say it is a great experience, they have a lot of motivation for wearing masks and to social distance, and everything isn’t to clumped together. It was easy to navigate around with the many maps and costumer service desks dotted around. All in all, great place.
C. S.
Good shopping centre, nice array of shops
J. W.
Nice to be back in the Highcross. Not been for a long while because of covic. .
C. D.
A very enjoyable shopping experience after lockdown BUT I was really disappointed to see several members of staff not wearing their masks properly, either under their nose or around the chin. Surely that is not good enough with the current situation and they should set an example.
J. L.
Lovely place, very modern and clean
H.
Great selection of shops not overly crowded like the bullring in Birmingham. Plenty of car park spaces. Nice day out shopping.
L. d.
Variety of shops beautiful place
P. L.
As far as shopping centres goes this is the least unbearable I have found. Toilets, family room and places to sit are well thought out.
K. S.
Brilliant place 2 shop xx
J. T.
The prices in stores often reflect the exorbitant rent that the highcross clearly charges it's tenants, how some of these bussiness inside stay afloat is a mystery?
There are a wide selection of stores, but not nearly the variety you'd assume from a complex of this size, with most of the stores being clothing outlets, but if you're looking to purchase some designer clothes or expensive trainers, this is probably the best place in the city centre to visit, I Just wish they had more variety in the stores that rent there, as I often find myself having no need to even go in there if I'm being honest.
M. M.
The Highcross is a brilliant place to be, with shops ranging from low end to high end theirs something for everyone, wheelchair access is good as their is lifts from each floor in the shopping centre, there is a multi-storey car park with access from each floor so never gets full and the you,l,ets facilities are good with large spacious toilets on different levels and wheelchair access toilets
J. S.
Good parking and very clean
J. H.
Enjoyable few pints with my son, last time I did this with him,was watching Leicester city win there FA cup semi final against Southampton.
A. P.
Big selection of shops and easy parking
M. S.
Excellent variety, something for everyone. The covid rules are also well enforced. Shops are still full of products. Lost 1 star due to dear parking. Other than that I highly recommend High road, perfect for a day out.
K. M.
Lovely, even has full sized sofas to sit on. Can't fault it at all. Brilliant thank you.
K. S.
Lovely food. Great prices.
K.
Day out with grandaughter.
R. “. D.
It's got everything for entertaining the family, old and young. We like the cinema, the sushi and the short walk to the cathedral.
J. S.
The big shopping centre in Leicester has all the usual stores you'd expect. Easy parking and the food court has all the types of food you would want, but this is outside the main centre. Short walk to the Lanes where the independent shops are located if you are bored of chain stores.
d. w.
Enjoy walking around and the coffee shop
k.
Fantastic looking shopping centre, but the best stores for me, like Debenhams, Rackhams etc, all gone now! The smaller brand shops are pretty expensive.
T. K.
Enjoyed day out shopping with kids. Also managed to sit down for a coffee.
People were not following the arrow marking and walking on either side and hence 4 stars.
s.
The Highcross centre is huge with so many shops.
At Xmas period it's a great shopping experience for all the family.
Only downside is there are not many benches or seating areas for tired feet.
E. C.
Great place to shop and hang around taking good pictures
J. M.
Not too busy on Sunday bank hol weekend. Wish there was a shop locator map at entrance opposite Carts Lane. I'm a targeted rather than a window shopper.
d. b.
Nice upmarket place . Lots of shopping options . There's a large touch screen for kids to play .
R. W.
Leicester is a small city compared to Nottingham, Birmingham Etc. But the highcross centre is one of the highlights. Plenty of shops and restaurants dotted about.
A. J.
Lots to do and lots of places to shop. So admittedly don't go in there much 🤣 but when I have it's been a good experience 😊
J. D.
Brilliant shopping centre. Excellent selection of shops.
J. G.
Nice place. Variety of shops.
M.
Best shopping area in Leicester. Has everything needed for a exciting day
G. C.
Lovely Mall. Modern parking building close by. Excellent selection of stores and places to eat and relax.
J. S.
A wide variety of eateries and stores to suit a variety of ages. Friendly and helpful staff that host many events and promotions throughout the year! Something for everyone! A few works going on to improve the shopping experience although sadly a couple of vacant stores. Overall a great shopping experience!
R. L.
Loads of food places nice and tidy shopping centre with good security
F.
Clean and up to date!! The loos were clean too. Really helpful staff wondering about often to give you directions too.
S. G.
Love this shopping centre. Visited the first time at night for the cinema and came out to a lovely atmosphere of people milling around enjoying a lovely evening. No one rolling around drunk or noisy. During the day every type of shop you could want and a good selection of places to eat or have coffee.
S. U.
High cross is an excellent shopping centre for all kinds of things. It's a good way to spend time widow shopping at best when in no mood to spend monies. Excellent services with great activities taking place... please don't miss visiting the place when you're in Leicester. 🥰❤
C. W.
Great place good prices and great staff
S. S. W.
Loads of shops,very clean
g. m. (.
Visually amazing exterior. All the usual shops and eateries. Our first visit to Leicester and so glad we did. Some older interesting building, still looking good, but sad that their original use has not continued. Park and side system is excellent, but if 2 or more people buy the "group ticket" for best value.
D. B.
A well lit and airy shopping centre.
P. S.
Warm friendly, very clean, toilets super clean, every kind of shop, and there is even a charging station for you gadgets, also I felt very safe as there's a load of security and I would feel safe taking the kiddies there,
S. P.
Busy today. There are boards up asking for masks to be worn but sadley very few people respecting the request and not wearing one.
N. C.
One of the best shopping centres I have ever visited. More than enough parking on the John Lewis car park. You will be able to buy whatever you want at one of the stores/shops. A large variety of restaurant's and drinking areas. Great cinema all in all a great place to visit
S. A.
Fantastic place to shop, especially since the change. Lots of interesting shops and the restaurants are great too. Love the Cinema.
I just like how everything is around the corner. I think perhaps they could introduce an ice cream shop or have an Art gallery or even a play area for kids. Because you need a good few hours to spend time there.
The mornings are usually the best times to shop. Customer service in most stores is excellent too.
K. B.
I love these new indoor/outdoor shopping places popping up in the uk. They have great shops and such a lovely aesthetic! All the main chains are there for food and retail...and the food places are pretty new and all quite big. Parking is plentiful and the spaces are pretty big too...we have a Land Rover Disco and had no trouble.
A. T.
A very well set out place where we always have a good time. We like to start and finish here with a trip outside to see Leicester town centre and the museum's. Our young children seem to tolerate shopping better here than in Nottingham. A good choice of eating places as well once you are finished.
R. V.
Good place for day out with family
a. m.
Very nice place for shopping, eating, having tea or coffee with your family and friends. There is two floor for shopping, public toilets, numbers of seats if you getting tired and there is car parking.
Go quickly and have fun!
M. S.
Very clean .and good atmosphere shopping centre
C. K.
Nice to see it bustling on a Sunday whilst cutting thru to Cinema de lux for Bond film.Very good by the way.
J. P.
Very good for disability access. There isn’t a lot of variety in shops. It seems to be Jewelers and good mostly. There is other shops like body shop Disney tiger Waterstones etc
Would recommend for a quick visit or having a meal
T. B.
This is a very pleasant and clean shopping centre. Easy to navigate, with all the facilities you need, including photo booths where I was able to take passport photos. Plenty of parking. Showcase Cinema is here, and there are loads of restaurants and bars.
A. C.
Our favourite shopping centre! Everything under one roof, a great variety of shops and restaurants, easy and cheap parking and central location for easy access and shopping outdoors. The building is stunning inside and out, with high ceilings and plenty of space so it doesn't get too crowded even when busy! Highcorss is always beautifully decorated on special occasions, always clean and airy.
I. O.
You can find any product you are looking for here. Lovely place
S. L.
Great shopping centre. Even the guys at The Sky kiosk were helpful!
S. M.
Modern shopping centre. Great for those who like this sort of thing. I visit for Waterstones and coffee shops.
D. B.
Looks very appealing and doesn't miss much at all. It has all of the shops I need and want. The toilets are always clean and when my.phone was low on charge I could pop it in a charging port, lock it up and then go for a coffee.
A. N.
Good place for shopping and eating in
N. A. S.
Nice, here we can find everything
F. A.
Lovely shopping mall. Great mix of people.
D.
A large shopping mall with a varied range of stores and coffee shops and stands selling a range of quirky items.
Parking good, has charging points for electric cars and plenty of disabled spaces.
Level 3, which is level with the bridge across to the shops is usually full as there is a car cleaning service on that level.
Plenty of quick lifts to all levels.
B. E. (.
Nice range of stores!
L. W.
Clean and plenty of good shops
A. P.
Really great shopping centre with good mix of shops. Has a prayer room on the ground floor near the toilets. Also the nappy changing room has a toilet that is brilliant for toddlers that are being toilet trained, as it has multiple toilet seats on it to stop them falling in.
C. M.
I had a good shopping experience
O. K.
Great destination ample parking. Warning it does get very busy on weekends! Has all the shops one would expect from a modern mall and a large cinema too. Two short comings, firstly it does not have a food court internally you will need to go outside for most of your eating and secondly no high end designer shopping if that's what you were looking for.
A.
Clean fresh shopping centre, hwoever fight outbrook
B. G.
A big shopping centre with lots of stuff and little character. I would really like to see a city be creative with its main shopping centre some day. It's quite clumsy to navigate, but does have all the big shops including an Apple Store (my measure of the quality of a shopping zone!).
R. A.
Very clean shopping place with lots of comfortable seats to relax when tired from shopping in all the shops.
The toilets are so clean too
S. W. (.
A great range of premium high street shops. Always spotlessly clean. 30 minutes free mobile charging points available.
Customer service team always good.
A great range of premium food outlets too.
Right in the centre of Leicester. Ample parking and buses stop right outside.
C. T.
The parking is pricey, should be free to encourage shopping offline or validated. Good range of shops, full access everywhere for pushchairs but it can be a long walk to find a lift to switch levels. Especially in shops. The new family room if you have small kids is really good, clean and has a small play area. Glad to see the Disney store back at least for a while.
J. C.
Used the car park to go to the Showcase X
S. H.
Still entry of parking and nearly all the Lois had a shop all with plenty to buy
S. B.
Nice selection.of shops lovely decorations for Christmas.
F. H.
This is a large covered shopping centre with lots of big name retail outlets including a John Lewis. There is plenty of parking which I found expensive, close by but if it had been a dry day using the park & ride would have been a cheaper option. There are lots of lifts and escalators making it easily accessible for the less able and those with pushchairs. The centre has plenty of places to have refreshments.
V. B.
It's a great place to shop, great facilities - convenient parking and public toilets. It's always clean, has disabled access and plenty of choice for shopping and eating out but I personally shop here predominantly for John Lewis's haberdashery department.
I. A.
big and amazing chance for good shopping
T. O.
A great place to do all your shopping under one roof, Very clean and tidy!
R. D.
Nicely done, great John Lewis store & some decent restaurants.Good parking too.
A. M.
Good place for your shopping needs and Retail therapy, a store for everything, places to eat or drink and a cinema. Always very busy so if you are taking children keep an eye on them as they could get lost very quickly in the crowds. Excellent parking facilities, undercover and dry with ample spaces.
H. C.
I found that a lot pf people were not wearing masks and it did scare me a little, you need to make sure your customers apply by the covid rules or you will loose your business to fosse park.
M. R.
Everything you need . From a shopping mall . It's good for wheelchair access to. Indoor car park. Nice place friendly staff also 👌 👍
T. G. P. F.
Good quality regional shopping centre, clean, upmarket feel to the place. Good selection of shops. Car park is a bit on the pricey side. And could do with more restaurants or a decent food court. Still way better than the Haymarket center a short distance away.
c. n.
Very busy, loads of restaurants cinema,
W. H.
Brilliant day out in a wonderful surrounding so much to see and do taking in the very pleasant ambient setting. You can find anything you might be looking for from John Lewis to pop up shops and restaurants a day out here and round the lanes with all the independent stores is a great day out for all the family.
H. K.
A perfect place Where we can purchase electronic items.
G. H.
Vast range of stores to suit every shopping need. Centre staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets available in the center, also catering for disabled/accessible needs. Vast array of car parking with Accessible spots. The whole centre is Wheelchair accessible from car park and street level.
S. P.
Disappointed at the lack of facemasks within the building. Security needs to step up. I saw security officers wandering about ignoring breaches. Highcross is not at its best with a couple of places closed. Debenhams being the obvious one.
H. C.
Wonderful variety of shops, lots of places to eat and things to do
C. W.
Everything you need under 1 roof. Plenty of cafes or food courts including McDonalds. Different mini stalls from promotions to products. Lots of clothes shops, jewellery & games shops. Always clean, public toilets including disabled loos. Great place to shop!
j. c.
Great shopping centre, well organised and plenty of places to eat and drink
J. R.
Nice clean shopping centre but lots of units still empty car parking expensive
A. L.
I like very much. I like Zara john Lewis and Clark's as well. Nice coffee shop too. I had very nice coffee and sandwich. I think I wanted muffin to but was very full haha
S. C.
OMG what a lovely place to go shopping with the family lots of shops for everyone and plenty of good eateries Close to the centre. Clean toilets and all areas of the centre 👍👍
K. B. (. o. P. G.
A great indoor shopping centre, with a lots of shops of all types, but it is the newest, biggest and most expensive, right in the city centre, so all the shops are likewise and you will not find any of the value shops there or any kind of grocery/food shops, unless you count the sweet shop near the post office, restaurants or fast food outlets.
Having said that, the shops that are there are really good and there are some good deals to be found, if you take the time.
The Highcross staff in the mall itself are generally very helpful, but you have to approach them and they place is kept immaculately clean.
The novel umbrella wrapping stations at the entrances are a clever touch in keeping the the water from making the floors wet and possibly slippery too.
M. B.
A lot of different options for shopping or eating out. Has everything from coffee shops, card shops, clothing, through to books and gadgets that you don't need but still want. The toilets are are also very well maintained, clean, and large so I never had to stand in line and wait.
T. K.
Great variety of shops.
l. r.
Cheap pub to start the night off. loads of people tend to meet here as its a good location in town. Food is alright. Beers cheaper than other pubs locally. Only down side is no music. It's more a meet and great pub
D. C.
Modern shopping centre with every style and retail need catered for. Comprising high-end stores, cinema and restaurant quarter within architecturally stunning surroundings. This pairs up well with the independent boutique stores in the Lanes to offer the best shopping experience in the East Midlands.
M. C.
Highcross is a good place for shopping but Leicester City centre is rundown.
Y. Y.
Nice shopping centre. Good procutions they have taken for covid. Good facilities for children. Most shops have hand sanitizers before you enter. Nice food areas and reasonable
S. P.
A very big shopping area for all your needs from cafes for that tea or coffee needed. You need a smoothie you can get one. Not forgetting to mention a big parking area for all day or an hour your vehicle is safe and there's lifts to take you down to the shopping area and alot of facilities.
There are baby changing rooms, also ladies and gentlemens toilets.
There are lots of different restaurants.
There's more shopping for clothes, perfumes, food and shoes.
Kids fun areas and kids toys and clothes.
You can sit and relax as theirs a seating area too. A lot to see and do for all ages. A must see and do recommended.
J. B.
The sale are still going so got some bargains also got a fantastic rate of the euro in John Lewis best in town
A. L.
Clean and bright. Selection of chain stores.
L. T.
This extensive mall has access to a nearby John Lewis department store, and within the main thoroughfare can be found branches of Next, Apple, Boots, Waterstones, and an abundance of well known retail outlets.
C. C.
A very nice shopping centre with a lot of retail shops, restaurants and toilets. Very close to John lewis - you can even access it without going outside. Last time I was there, on boxing day I was really satisfied with my visit. Even though there was a lot of people, my visit was still pleasant.
A. M.
Don't shop there often as buy mostly online cheaper. The Highcross itself is a nice place with a variety of different stores under one roof. It's a nice and safe environment. Prefer the Highcross to walking around shops in the town centre which no longer feels a safe place to be.
h. a.
Good place. Good food , tasty and I guess healthy aswell. Food comes with decent amount of salad. The mix platter is more than enough for 4 to 5 people. Not spicy at all yet all of flavour
G. G.
Can't complain about Highcross, great selection of shops, always clean and tidy, very open and light.
L. P.
Great shopping centre, very modern with practically every kind of shop and brand you can imagine right in the heart of the city centre. Also has plenty of food, drink and entertainment options both inside and in the immediate area of it.
J. C.
Large and extensive shopping centre with several levels, and a very good range of shops. The opening time is a little stingy in my opinion, but the place itself is big enough for the volume of people that walk through it, and the area seems clean and tidy, with ample facilities.
A. K.
Very nice place for shopping
H. J.
Love shopping and eating here
M. G.
I've been in Leicester few times but never get the chance to explore this shopping mall. I love the Ceiling in the main centre hall. Easy to get around. Parking wise is conveniently affordable.
A. V.
Lots of Famous shops and hosts a very vibrant and lively atmosphere great place to head out for shopping.
C. G.
Quite a few different types of shops available. Loads of different food options in the food area outside, all within a short walk. It is accessible for wheelchair users. Good for clothe shopping. Clean. Toilets available free of charge. Parking can be quite expensive if you are there for a while. Lifts available to each car parking level.
C. B.
A lot of stores catering to different people. There are new stores such as Zara and Zara Home, which are really nice and add to the diversity of the mall. Some shops are a little pricey, like GAME and Debenhams, but the customer experience and polite staff all make up for it.
B. M.
Clean, clear and secure place to shop. Perfect wheelchair accessible shops. plenty of places to rest your feet. Highcross car park does charge by the hour. Cheaper car parks in the area. Worth a visit.
A. K.
Very nice place. You get all the products that you need. Itne infrastructure is awesome. It is a very big mall and has a good parking space. It's amazing when it comes to fashion. High class brands available and the quality is superb. If you are looking something for new years Eve, you must visit here.
N. U.
Excellent range of shops and eating venues. Good access to public transport and car park. Hard to find a member of staff for general enquiries. Clean, bright, welcoming and warm.
C. G.
Generally a good shopping centre, nothing amazing or stand out like other cities including Birmingham or Nottingham, but a good place to go for the general shopping experience
P. S. S.
Great combination for shopping, food, games and fun.
D. A. J.
Very busy.... excellent walk-in vaccine centre
R. P.
Nice place for shopping...great place
D. U.
Highcross Leicester city centre, next to the oldest land mark clock tower...best place for shopping in Leicester,
Modern Architecture, glass roof,
R. L.
A great Shopping Centre.
Let's hope they can fill the Empty shops.
M. B.
plenty of shops, only 4 stars because I suffer with my legs and there is not enough seating.
K. K.
One of my favourite places in Leicester. If you are new to Leicester, I advise you to visit the Highcross shopping mall.
First of all, it is quite big which makes it comfortable and convenient for people to visit as many shops as there are. Second, it includes major stores such as Zara, New Look, Pandora, Debenhams, Boots and others. You can shop for clothes, jewellery, electronics, books, shoes, gifts... almost everything you want is there. It has even a post office at your convenience.
Third, and most importantly, they have coffeeshops and a MacDonald's inside. This means you can shop and dine in. This is definitely my favourite part. You can try their doughnuts at the ground floor which are my favourites in Leicester so far. There are lifts, toilets, parking, many doors to different streets, a bridge connecting to John Luis, etc. All in all, it is a perfect place to go shopping in Leicester.
However, the only shortcoming that I noticed is lack of staff. I tried many times to spot a member of staff to ask for something but I rarely find one. It would be much better if they enhance this department. That's what I have so far. I will include some pictures once the lockdown is over.
m. w.
Good selection of shops / places to eat and drink. Parking facilities too. All under one roof - typical for a shopping centre (dry). Somehow misses the point of travelling to Leicester - could be anywhere. So if you want a quick way to do your shopping and spend a day out its as good as anywhere.

A large shopping centre well laid out. The attraction for us was the large John Lewis store up one end of the mall. Take careful note where you park. Floor levels use colours and numbers.

Parking was expensive £3-50 for 1 - 2 hours. A map board would help I seemed to wander for age's without finding where I was looking for and asked a cleaner and he pointed out where I was looking for. The place is clean and bright with lots of seats and wide walkways.

Lots of brilliant shops and plenty of choice for places to eat you can always find something to wear from somewhere in here or a present for someone. Nice big cinema situated here and a variety of events on at different times of the yr to keep kids amused

Ran out of time to explore the Hoghcross because the queue for Zara was ridiculously slow. Puts me off buying anything there.its such a pity because the clothes there are great and prices are good. But make sure you have hours to spare if you need a refund or exchange

A great find. Took my wife Shopping for her birthday and loved every minute. As a wheelchair user we started at the mobility centre, where we were greeted by 2 of the most helpful people I have met. From here the rest of the centre was filled with shops to hold all interests. A huge selection of food venues. We will be back for some xmas shopping even if it is nearly 100 miles and straight past Merry Hell.

Good place to spend lots of time lots of Xmas goodies 😉

Not bad, a good selection of stores to visit , all strategically placed.

The main shopping centre in Leicester. Within walking distance of the rail and bus stations. A huge range of high quality shops. Recently refurbished. Adequate parking, even at peak times. Large choice of food outlets, if you are prepared to pay the premium prices.

Very nice shopping centre, all the main brands but not really and indy stores. Parking is OK, a long queue to get in but nice big spaces and while more expensive than other places it's not a rip off either.

The biggest mall in the centre. Plenty of everything including places to spend some good time with friends on a cup of coffee or tea. It can be overcrowded a bit at the weekend's peak time, especially before Christmas time. Good architectural design and not looking like a maze makes it a good place to find what you need.

Higcross is a nice clean shopping centre with lots of popular outlets there is also plenty of places to eat at night although I would 100 percent recommend booking a table if your wanting to eat on a busy friday or Saturday night. There is such a wide array of things to buy so make sure your wallet/purse has plenty in it. :)

Light and airy with excellent selection of shops. Easy access from the multi-story car park. It's not on a flat site and there are gentle gradients throughout which can make it tiring for wheelchair users and pushers.

Great place to shop everything

An incredible environment to buy, just watch or eat. If you have already bought and have many bags they have Lockers for three hours with a deposit of £5 when you return the key they give your money back.

Good place for shopping 120 stores

Very nice and big place. Many different kinds of shops can be found in there; clothes, food, electronics, pawnshops and toys. There are also toilets in there that seem to be clean. It usually isn't overcrowded.

The high cross gets better with every visit. Its been a while since we last went and since then they have extended further. There are push along cars for the kids to ride in (our daughter is just coming up to 2 and she would have loved to been in one but there wasn't any free when we arrived). There are plenty of cafe/coffee bars and restaurants in the centre. The number of shops is ever increasing however a few of the original shops appear to have moved out (or gone). Overall a very good experience.

Big variety of stores at high Ross, but was very busy - to be expected on a Friday afternoon, went to get a covid test for American visitor

Got what I needed. Plenty of shops, amenities are close, parking is very close although would benefit from free parking to gain more footfall from visitors. Lots of cafes, clothes shops, mobile phone shops and plenty of places to eat, whether it's fast food to go or a sit down meal. Also next to the city centre which is close to bus routes and not far from the train station 👍

Everything i need in one massive haymarket, i can buy my clothes half price then spending online, B&m has amazing discount offers especially there Gin 😋

Sadly under Covid restrictions was like a ghost town however . when I was ill & became separated from my husband the staff were so kind and helpfull , put out a tannoy message & a man with the same name turned up had a laugh about that as he was a younger modle

Sadly Debenhams is no longer but adequate choice and interior...shame so many people are still not wearing masks though and toilets are often dirty / smelly.

Great variety of shops

This is one of the busiest malls in Leicester but there are a few empties in the place. Clean and lots of staff to help if you need it.

Good place for shopping, eating and watching movies in the cinema
