Reviews of Huyton Village - Shopping Centre
Medium sized part rundown centre but with a good selection of independent shops as well as some larger ones. Right next to a bigg asda. Give the multi story car park a miss. Parking is free in the main car parks
it's the best place to go everything is in walking distance
Great little shopping Village.... Could do with less charity shops and betting shops too...
The shops are not bad in the village, but it could do with a TESCO.
Easy to navigate through all the shops around the area
Lots of places to shop but no decent clothes shops. More for if you want food.
A good range of shops and getting better by the day
Its my local town Too many restaurants.we need another supermarket
Nice place for drinks and food 😊
Great selection of shops
Foodie Friday.....mmmm... what a great experience food and drink was a treat ...Even though it was street food
All the good shops are disappearing, getting less like a shopping centre. Not great choice of parking only Asda car park.
Always cheery...renovation really taking shape all good
Great choice of shop's
It's ok not many shops left there now
Good shops near bus station!
Great if you live close to it. Has everything I need.
Great place! Support your local shops!
Made loads of improvements recently to bring the area up to date
Face lift looks good. Needs some public loos
Nice friendly place to go good shops
Bit drab really and little that you can't find elsewhere. Cheap parking though.
Love going for a walk round here as find it better than our own shopping centre plus it has a nice big Asda
like browsing as well as using the bank
A bit tired now but still some good shops
Plenty of good shops
Not bad,bit better than Kirkby at the moment
X
Good vary of shops and big Asda.
It is being tarted up at the moment however I do not think this will help to improve it.
love huyton village, something for everyone and some great places to eat
Always great,clean friendly.Great flagseller.
Not many clothes shops
Not much choice there now
Once upon a time Huyton Village was the centrepiece of the area. Sadly the world seems to have moved on retail wise and the Village is slowly becoming a ghost town. The internet has an AWFUL lot to answer for. Technological advances in the way we shop has decimated this once thriving shopping area. Sad times indeed.
Good but needs new shops
Fits most of your basic needs for food shopping.
Nice coffee shop and tapas bar
Easy parking, good range of shops.
There are a good range of shops in the village.
Everything you need and local . All good
Fabulous bargains for all occasions.
Lots of great shops close together.

Beautiful place lovely relaxing atmosphere
Poor selection of shops. Lot of empty
Shops, amenities... new restaurants and coffee shop.
Friendly people. Good health everyone.🤗 be safe.
A good place to do your shopping.
All shops open and got all wanted
Not what it used to be but some quality shops still trading
very good
Great little village loads of shops
Decent place with plenty of shops
1st visit, enjoyed walking around. Must have been very busy in days gone bye. You can see they are trying to improve the town centre but still plenty of empty stores. Free parking is always a plus. Good transport into and out of the town.
Lots of good stores and in a ideal locality for Huyton.
Definitely on the up from the last visit
A few more shops opening
Convenient for local folk it's a local shop for local people
Asda has great value for money
Beauty Bazzar Harvey Nicks fabulous
Very quiet
Fab xx
Ok but not as busy as it used to be x
Near to my home and has shops that I need.
Some empty shops but ok for quick bargains from places like wilko or b&m

Great.
Great shopping area
Got what you need realy
Meets newds of shopper
Good for restaurants can't fault Eton place or The Common can't wait to try new Steak House. Other retail shops are all winding up and not much choice it should be called Huyton food village !!
Not much there these days however given this many stars due to the stores fhwt I like to visit being there despite home bargain being an absolute waste of rhe space as they never have anything at all in there that I want to buy or need ....
Definitely the worst home bargain and I've travelled around and used them all when out and about at work !
The shopping village is rubbish compared to how it used to be... there's no indoor market there no more neither and that's one of the main things ot had going for it......
Everything you need
Great shops

Nice place to shop 👌
(Translated) A small shopping center, not very crowded. A few charity shops, cafes, of course benches where you can sit for a moment. Near Asda with a large parking lot. Shops like hundreds of others, but cool.
(Original)
Małe centrum handlowe, bez wielkiego tłoku.Kilka sklepów charytatywnych ,kawiarenki, oczywiście ławeczki gdzie na chwile można przysiąść.Niedaleko Asda z dużym parkingiem. Sklepy jak setki innych, ale spoko.
(Translated) Seems to be the city center. Nothing to sell. There are not many shops of the same kind, that is, they are small.
(Original)
似乎係小區市中心。無咩野賣。同類既商店唔多,即係細囉。
Very quiet when I went. Free parking still in operation.
(Translated) Great place to walk

Quite a selection of shops and cafes, conveniently located near the rail station, bus station and plenty of parking.
Parking is a problem if you need to go to the post office etc. It is dated
Wow great shopping at Asda .
It's a good shopping area better than Crosby more there.
It's practically dieing out in huyton village it's not what it used to be
Place to go to buy something quickly but not to rest and drink coffe...
The village is coming up in a world, well worth a visit. More shops opening and some restaurants too. Some of the shops have had new fronts and they look really smart and clean. Fancy a meal try Eton place or just a quick bite try star noodles for a nice chinese takeaway, they do a lunch time only menu save buying a big meal and it's really nice.
Some good shops here that are not near my home so it's worth a trip now and again
Seems nice enough place
Starting look loom awesome with all the new quality restaurants
Looking a bit tired not the variety of independent shops but a bigger selection of cafe and restaurants
Not many shops a bit disappointed
Breakfast at commond great service .
😊
Needs some more shops tho
The shops o attended was clean qnd staff were friendly and helpful
Very good quality credit to Huyton
A few signs to show where each shop is would be a good idea, I'm not one for wandering around looking for the shop I wanted.
On a nice sunny day, enjoy a glass of wine or a pint sitting outside enjoying the sunrays. Some nice food also. You feel like your on your holidays watching the world going by. Enjoy.
Nice on the day. Too many rats in the evening. The 2 legged type dressed in black!
Good places to eat it's a shame there is no where to buy decent clothes
Small shoping center . Loads off shops shut down .. more food places there now ..
Needs a butty shop but it's got everything else like restaurants to home bargains,, bank's to a wool shop.
It's alright if you like eating out
Love it quite compared to town centre
Typical small town shopping area. Has all usual stores including, bakers, butchers, Costa Coffee & other cafes, Iceland, charity shops, BM's, Home Bargains Poundland, chemist, various clothing shops, furniture shops & other misc retailers etc etc. Also has an indoor market etc. a large Wilko's and Asda. Walking distance from shops to bus station and train station
The place is looking a little sparse to how it use to be but, it still has enough there to get what shopping you need.
Has changed needs more shops
It's got pretty much what you need. Many more reading venues now which is great.
Huyton Village was a great place to shop, it still is.
There are lots of new restaurants which is great but we need more shop like green grocer's a good butchers all the shops we loved.
Lovely places to eat
Needs more shops to give you more choice
Staff in shops are always so helpful..
Nothing much there, shops being replaced by bars used to be a brilliant shopping area but nothing much there now in the way of shops
Some shops closed down, more bars and places to eat
Good shopping outlets and a number of restaurants
Got some good shops
Far too many eateries not enough independent shops also hardly any banks now
Getting better with new shop fronts and eateries..
But the biggest turn off is that there is no free parking..
Unlike Widnes or Bellvale.
It had all things l was looking for goou
Recently modernisation of the centre has largely been completed There are a number of restaurant's of various origins New shopfronts on other establishments have been installed Quite a nbet of shops to choose from with an Asda Superstote also available
Love it ,many differents shops
Well done tall all the indipendant bars restaurants and businesses
Huyton village provides a wide range of shops, local services and cafe/cake shops, where you can also meet some really friendly local people!
A few good shops but like a lot of places hasn't had much done to it for a long time
Lovely place & alot of good shops plus some nice new cafes/restaraunts!
Great shopping centre but could do with empty shops filling. Good all round value for money
More coffee bars and wine bars appearing every month
Not a bad place to shop but could do with at total revamp like being back in tbe 1970s buut alright shopping
Would be ok if it wasn't for the amount of cafe's and bistros take aways bring back the good old village shoppin center.
Very few shops like a graveyard now!!
Unable to access car park on snowy day. Centre looks a little tired. Reasonable selection of shops
Love the Eton place and Greek lovely food
All local shops, big main supermarket, within easy reach of bus and train stations, plenty of car parking,
Lovely asda and you dont need to wear a face mask either as in most asda's
Getting better for restaurants and the chill factor
Very perfectly
Has mostly everything i need so can't complain, few more stores needed but there's always room for improvement
Don't think much of Huyton shopping center at the moment but Lott's of work under way. So will see.
Huyton village used to be a good shopping place but unfortunately has recently gone down hill lots of closed shops
En Vogue Homes fabulous shop
Very helpful staff 5*
Lots of shops lots of choice, I love going to the village for a little shop around before hitting the Asda
Quite happy with the service I got in the shops, got what I needed, which is good.
Plenty of shops, from the likes of b&m and home and bargain, to the pound bakery and star noodle!!
My home town, hard to find baby clothes but Literally everything else!
Good parking, all the shops you could possibly need.
It is not as it used to be, but it seems to be coming back !!!!
A lovely walk in a quaint village
Too many charity shops and betting shops....The big stores have killed off the various business that once thrived in the village
Not a lot of shops but plenty of cafes
Was good not to busy .shops all covid safe
There are a good variety of shops in and around The Shopping Village in Huyton, with an excellent range of products at very good value to be had. :)
Try not to go there to much as u have to pay to park so usely go to presscot retail park
Visited today on the hottest day of the year so far. Huyton is just like every small town in the northwest at present, a bit run down and needing shoppers. Never the less the amount of shops is still good and everything that you need aswell like Wilkos, B&M, Poundland and all the usual charity shops. Noticed quite a few nail bars as well. Not a bad little town. I've been to better and I've been to far, far worse. Worth a trip
Plenty shops traffic free good parking lots of cafes and places to eat
Good for a few bits but seems to be getting over run with charity shops and card shops.
A bit run down but still a good place for a browse.
More shops and resterants And coffee shops opening. Getting back to what it used to be like.
Village getting a well deserved face lift new restaurants opened and coffee bar
Everything you need and much cheaper to park the car than town
Good mixture of shops. The new shop frontages look fab
Lovely restaurants
Lovely price to shop
Currently undergoing a facelift and lots of rejuvenation with lots of new businesses and resturants moving in
A great choice of restaurants offering a wide choice of continental cuisine.
Dani's Diner offers great breakfasts and burgers.
