An amazing selection of shops. The best place to visit when you're looking for someone unusual or unique. Especially good when buying gifts for those people that have everything/are different to buy things for 🎁

Edit note: not sure this actually was the Metquarter. Where we went was the food hall in the old GPO in Victoria Street, but read on... Popped in to the food hall as recommended by Jay Rayner, restaurant critic of the Observer/Guardian. Had a brief lunch at Indian street food takeaway Chit and Chaat which was absolutely fantastic and great value. Highly recommended!

Nice airy building but can lack atmosphere and is usually devoid of shoppers. Hopefully the LMA moving in will bring some life to the place. The excellent Everyman cinema is located here too .

lovely place, they have several small stalls of food. enjoyed my shoyu ramen just wished it served quick and put a little bit of veg.(please) the pork chashu isnt pleasing, the onsen tamago (half boiled egg) should be cut into halves just like what they do in japan. either way tumbs up, its delicious.

Lovely place. A lot of higher end shops compared to st johns but also has shops like costa coffee and that is normally quiet compared to the ones in the middle of town. Some extra maintenance on the building would be great, some area are darker because of good number of lights out.

This place isn't to my taste as it has quite an exclusive feel to it. It is however very smart and clean with a selection of high end boutiques to choose from as well as fine dining. Having CCTV cameras is in my opinion however a step too far.

Had a brilliant night up to the point that my drink was spiked. Be careful people, I know this could happen anywhere so I don't hate the place and the club was amazing at dealing with it from paying for me to get home to helping file the report the next day with help from CCTV and statements from people who were there.

This shopping centre is distinctly average. It is quite small and feels like it could do with a good refurbishment and clean. However it does have a small selection of stores which are of use so worth popping into whilst in town

Had a voucher from xmas to valaries patisserie. Busy shop the voucher was £3 more for the same traditional afternoon tea ?? Why more. Food was fresh cakes lovely. You can have a refill of tea or coffee. Nice afternoon. But I don't feel it was worth the money. The shop is situated in the met quarter.

A smallish fairly specialised, more upmarket shopping centre that's not for general groceries shopping. Well maintained free to use customer toilets. No customer parking facilities. Not even a drop off and loading area. Nearest parking is several minutes walk.

A shopping mall for the Uber wealthy, who expect quality of service and products when shopping. Unfortunately, since opening in March 2006, they've struggled to hold on to most of their designer stores and most have succumb to the lack of demand, rendering a large proportion of the mall vacant, including almost the entire 1st floor. Still, the building isn't quite a hollowed out carcass with a gold plated coating, just yet. The remaining shops still rank highly for quality and it's well worth a visit, for the classy individual (or you know, if you've just got your student finance or something...).

The Cavern is closed still but you can see a replica of the inside at the Beatles Experience. Lots of bars in the area with live music. Worth a walk whilst in Liverpool.

We had a day out in Liverpool. We wandered fairly aimlessly, just soaking up the sights, sounds and smells. As a piece of this we passed through the Metquarter. The whole experience was great. Only one regret, we could not find anywhere that sold bacon butties after 11.45 and we, lusting for a bacon butty each, had arrived at about noon.

The Met Quarter is a clean and secure shopping centre. It's been hit by the opening of Liverpool One, sapping footfall to the other side of Liverpool - but it's still holding its own. There's a number of empty units, but these tend to be covered up well. The Costa is great and there's some other top brands dotted about. There's no parking and only one toilet.

From its standing as the fancy shopping centre in Liverpool to its modern day mix of upmarket shops and vacant space I can't see how the met quarter fits into the post-Liverpool1 project city structure. There's good shops in yhe et Quarter buy it isn't vibrant, doesn't have a coffee shop or food place that encourages me to come back again. It'd be great to see this set up like the shopping arcades in other cities, but for now it is a mixture of a few different things, not of which draw me in.
