East Ham market is a sound local enjoyable experience and has many different shops. The owners of these shops are friendly and approachable and are more than willing to answer any questions that a person may have. I would recommend people who have not been to this market place to schedule a visit I think you would find it an enjoyable experience.

Used to live at 11 Holme Rd (demolished to make way for High St bypass) till 1991, so it was just yards away from my house. Had a great butcher and fish shop. Went frequently to the Market Cafe for breakfast and always ordered 'double bubble'. Now l live in Australia and miss my old East Ham days.

This is a very old and traditional market hall based in East Ham. Its a mix of traditional East end businesses and stalls run by various immigrants. The stalls are all under cover and range from Delis to shops selling silk saris alongside African grocers. An interesting mix of shops due a rich tradition of immigrants from Poles to West Africans to the local area. A good spot for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of shopping.

Very good market. Mixture of small & big shops all varieties available. Nice friendly stall holder. Toilet also available in market. Few parking around market also available. Good link to transport Buses & tube.

A bit dark and dingy . But many good stalls in there. I go in there for a black hair shop. Very good. Parking on the outside and it's free for blue badge disability holders.

Its a little dated but trying which in a world dominated by high-end trendy independents or chain stores is to be commended it has a range of shops form cafes to hairdressers and fresh food so if I was passing I would drop in for a look :)

This used to be a fabulous market, but somewhat reminiscent of a ghost town last Saturday, only a couple of stools selling their things, but the trusty market cafe still pulls in the regular crowd, with Aunt Sally's cafe out the back keeping the more hunger needy content, it's not it was a few years ago - shame really,,,

It has a few stalls that I find useful, Zara Foods for fresh veg and Indian ingredients, G's Pinoy & Oriental Food Shop the closest place to us for buying belacan fermented shrimp paste and a stall whose name I can't remember that specialises in pork products. Oh, and there's a head shop which comes in handy from time to time. Apart from these stalls I can't recommend it for anything.

Some stalls and shops are a bit dated but overall, it's nice little market hall with independent traders. It's a real shame the garden centre closed down as that was my favourite shop!

Not much in the way of market stalls. A lot of units empty. Ones open mainly the same as another stall. Probably the cafe/ hot & cold food and the fruit and veg stall the 2 best stalls.

It was a good place for grocery but recently they are doing refurbishment. Some shops are closed. Fish shop, all day breakfast, curtains and fresh vegetables

The hall itself isn't great there's a few options like bike shop - fish shop - Asian and African choices but on the main road right next to it is eastham high st there's alot ore shops primark JD sports Gregg's etc.

As an english person who enjoys things from all places this is the place to go,you can find all things for all countries,food,spice and all them thing nice,and on the way in there is sainsburys for your every day things... visitthemarket and see for yourself..

Your east end market...Fruit and veg...Meat and poultry....Fishmonger...Tailors...Cafe...Carribian grocery...Phillipino grocery....General household goods....Clothes....Curtains and home furnishing...Hair dressers.....Small electrical items etc. Public toilet and parking available.

What a shame. Funny old indoor market that was once a pleasure to browse around but being deliberately run down to make way for flats. Community landmark stolen away by greedy developers.

(Translated) It's great even though it lasts few hours It would be very good that they do not sell frozen fish because when it is defrosted to use when you are cleaning it it melts in your hands or because its meat is too soft due to the freezing and thawing processes I see it as a lack of respect for the customer (Original) Es genial aunque dura pocas horas Seria muy bueno q no vendan pez congelado pues cuando se descongela para usar cuando le estas limpiando se deshace en las manos oues su carne esta demasiado blanda por los procesos de congelacion y descongelacion lo veo como una falta de respeto al cliente
