Reviews of Oxo Tower
Loved it here, great atmosphere, delicious food, bakery helpful polite staff... highly recommend
Whilst very expensive, this was some of the best food I have had in London. Really high quality and delicious. All the staff were really lovely too. Great views, of course!
Beautiful views, delicios food, excellent servis.
Great service, lively but not hectic. Food was divine. Lots of flavours , filling but not heavy. Even the side dishes were bursting with flavours.
It's a beautiful exhibition space. The rustic warehouse building is perfect to showcase modern art. Well worth a visit!
Have been lucky enough to have been to several Afternoon Teas in London venues but this one I do think is amazing!
Nice Art Gallery on ground floor.Steps providing easy access to the river right in front of the building. Nice bar upstairs worth a visit.Nice place.
Great piece of history on the river front. Take a look at the back for the wharfs history and the 8th floor for thr viewing platform.
Good location, lots of varied events - went for The London photo show as I was exhibiting some of my work
Cafe Nero on the South Bank is charming and comfortable. It can be a getaway from the hustle and bustle of wharf. The Oxo Tower Wharf is very pleasant and an attraction for visitors as it is still a location for many movies - The Sky is Pink comes to mind.
Great restaurant with a lovely welcome and perfect service. The food was interesting and varied and the set menu good value. Having a superb view of the Thames and St Paul's only added to wonderful lunch.
Nice place both for private and corporate party. Probably not for the romantic date because it's busy and pretty loud. Not very posh but you have unique dessert - unique London panorama. Especially impressive in the dark.
Dined at the brasserie. The salmon and buerre blanc with samphire was amazing. Staff lovely and helpful and the sun came out so we finished off with drinks on the balcony. Amazing views
Nice place to have dinner with a wonderful view over the river Thames and views to St Paul's Cathedral.
We recently had a family dinner at OXO Tower Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience for our first visit. Not only was the food delicious and reasonably priced, but the service was also outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was serene, with a beautiful view overlooking the river. We were all delighted with the overall experience, and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Highly recommend!
Proposed to my wife here a decade ago and came back for a dinner with friends this week. Still special. Great food, fantastic service and a view of London you can't find anywhere else.
Went for cocktails one evening as a surprise with my girlfriend, such a large variety of drinks, one for everyone! Large selection of food! As someone with a nut allergy the staff were extremely on the ball with making sure I was well looked after! Amazing views from the balcony area!
Great building with a lot going on. Famous
contemporary designers, restaurants, shops,
bars, cafes, and Exhibitions. Easy access.
Absolutely amazing food, fantastic service and gorgeous view! It was one of the best experience ever. There are not many places like that 👌
Excellent meal from start to finish. The setting, service and food, perfect. Lovely way to finish off a weekend break in London.
Oxo Tower is a stunning event venue with incredible views of the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral a truly memorable setting for any occasion
Superb food, fantastic view over London and excellent service. The Brasserie is a fine choice for a special occasion
Amazing the transformation this area has seen in the last ten years. Great place to walk along the beach.
Just incredible, couldn't recommend enough - lovely staff great food 5*.
A large variety of little galleries and of course the famous Oxo restaurant and bar at the top for unmissable yet affordable views of the City of London.
Amazing location, excellent food and a buzzing atmosphere
Visited for the Marvel Studios Loki tva experience.
Friendly staff, a little unorganised outside, but once in it was a great experience,
This is a great place to visit with fantasic views over London
Fantastic service, wonderful drinks, and a brilliant view. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We had lovely views of St Paul's across the river. We had an early booking 5.30 as we were going to a show and we had a choice of seating in consequence. They surprised me with a birthday cake at the end of the meal. A wonderful evening.
Went to an exhibition in there. It was lovely! So many different pieces of art! Just my vibe. Obviously I got tired towards the end due to the stairs haha!!
Lovely Sunday lunch in the Brasserie
Great restaurant, great food! People love to run it down but it's great value!
A few nice shops, especially the one downstairs with all the funny accessories
VVIP Birthday Celebration
We had an amazing time from start to finish. Food was amazing, the service faultless, & staff were super attentive. A definate VVIP treatment.
Thanks to all the staff , and a very big thank you to Marco L for making my birthday celebration very special.
A big thank you for the unexpected (amazing) cocktail from a lovely couple sat opposite us.
Thank you for the VVIP treatment.
Cxxx
Good atmosphere, good staff, lively band was entertaining , beautiful views, great location, super food's
Creative spaces for private galleries and exhibitions that always manages to surprise and inspire. A landmark that definitely deserves to be paid a visit.
Outstanding view across London, especially the dome of St. Pauls Cathedral. The staff are friendly and the food is great, albeit a bit on the pricey side. What more do you need to know. Brilliant...
Fabulous location to watch the sun going down. Food delicious
Passed by the art=craft stores under the tower, lots of excellent stores, not cheap, but quality and interesting
I'm a coach driver and had to drop off , however I have eaten there, a nice experience, you have to book.
Drop off on Stamford St by Thirsty Bear Pub.
I had Valentines dinner at this restaurant and I must say they went above and beyond! The food was delicious and there was not much of a waiting time. The staff were very polite and hands on. The view and ambiance was 10/10! This felt like first class!!
Perfect hidden gem. Close enough from tourists but far away to appreciate a small courtyard quietly and peacefully.
Popped in whilst in the area. Welcomed into brassierie which no problem. Had cocktails. The place is pricey but nice balcony seat overlooking the Thames.
Amazing food with a lovely view over London.
Great views and a good selection of drinks to choose from. The staff were very polite and attentive too.
Very nice. Nice bar . Views nice. Good menu choice. Glass of wine and main course. £18. Not bad price
First time at the Oxo Tower and have to say very impressed as we got such good service and the food was super good.
I did get a little excited when the had Elemis in the toilets lol :)
Would visit again as made to feel special and welcome.
Very good food but not an amazing atmosphere. Staff seemed moody and angry all the time and not very polite. Tables are all very close together and ended up sitting very close to strangers.
Had an amazing time. Treating husband for a special birthday. We were early but still seated quite well with gorgeous views of London. Food was delicious and the service perfection. Attention to detail was top draw! A lovely afternoon drink on the terrace was an added plus, with gratis honeyed snacks when the weather turned chilly and we came inside was a decent touch. Seriously worthy of the 5 stars!
Amazing view. Great for casual dining or even a more formal event. The food was also good and we had the summer menu which was great value too.
Excellent food and service as always, but strictly for special occasions only unless you've won the lottery!
The free public viewing platform at the Oxo Tower is one of my favourite hidden gems in London. Although it is not a particularly large space, it provides a serene spot to observe the busy river traffic.
The Oxo Tower is situated on the south bank of the River Thames, close to the Tate Modern Museum. You do not need to book a ticket to access the viewing platform, which offers a cool viewpoint and is a great spot for photographing St. Paul's Cathedral.
Lovely place for a date or a night out ! Cocktails are not expensive and the stuff there is really friendly, I loved they had Elemis cream and soap in their toilets !!
Beautiful view! I love it.I recommend doing the visit around 6 when it is starting to get dark because you can see the change day / night and the view is beautiful.
Waiter and waitress very helpful and nice brasserie food, def recommand the place
Great service and lovely views across the river, bit I was unimpressed sadly with what I ordered...the birthday touch was very sweet
Lovely experience, fantastic food and great service. Would highly recommended and look forward to going back.
We had a school get together here.
Ambiance, staff and company was really lovely. Live guitar background music also VG
I have given 4 stars because, unless you know where the restaurant is. It is not easy to find. The signage is terrible.
My food tasted really good. Beautifully presented. My main course was cold.
Excellent service, food tasteful and worth the visit.
Fabulous experience. Had drinks in the restaurant. Couldn't afford meals. Good for special occasion
Sunday lunch in the Brasserie for 6. Really good food from the shortened menu. Really good service. If there was a down side our table was close to the duet providing music. It's not cheap, our bill was £450 including drinks and based on the shortened "set" menu. That said it was a special occasion and I felt worth the cost for a memorable meal.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Lovely view.
Ok building, on one of the best Riverside walks in London. Nice Art Gallery on ground floor. Interesting collection of arty bits and pieces on mezzanine. Steps providing easy access to the river right in front of the building. Nice bar upstairs worth a visit
Menu limited (which is a good thing) but with a diverse and scrummy choice. The venison was really tasty and tender. Make sure you get a table on the river side of the floor as the views are great, especially at night. Attentive staff. Worth the visit and intend to return.
Perfect for occasions. Lovely view of Central London including the London Eye. Went for the afternoon tea, brilliant menu - the cakes are delicious!
Great food the kids menu was great and it was very filling
Great location, amazing view from the south side of the river Thames from the terrace. A good selection of cocktails and bar food menu. Price pairing with food. Suggested, yes.
Fantastic building with amazing views let down by uninspiring menu and costly menu.
My advice if you want to go, meet for pre-dinner cocktails, they have a bar, enjoy the view and then eat elsewhere
An amazing venue with the best staff in London. Came here to celebrate my Wife's birthday and they couldn't do enough for us. They made the whole experience memorable. Fantastic food, views and service. So glad I chose this place. It won't be our last visit, definitely. Please try it!!
Neat building with exhibition spaces and stores. Would recommend going upstairs and to the back of the building to view all the shops. The watch store was unique and interesting!
Went to see a photo exhibition in the ground floor gallery, Podo, about people who get elephantiasis from infections in their feet.
If you're on the southbank worth stopping in to have a look.
Nice "beach" bustling area, fabulous Saturday afternoon but no toilets
My partner wanted to show my the oxo tower as it had find memories, spotlessly clean and and very quiet welcoming stop off from the busy London noise. Beautiful view from the very top of the building. Probably not one further kiddies but a nice place for adults to visit.
Lovely place - nice dinner, amazing views and good atmosphere
First class food without first class prices. Six of us loved our Sunday lunch in the brasserie today. Fabulous atmosphere with live music. Perfectly attended to by Igacio , who’s originally from Portugal.
Looks like a very cool place next to the Thames with great views. I was eating in the restaurant on the 8th floor.
Great night out. Food was very tasty too.
Wow what can I say great service lovely cocktails and the food was fantastic. I will be going again for certain. I can't put into words how great this place is.
Stunning views, food and service! 10/10 Recommended!
Great views across the Thames. Good selection of drinks and cocktails, definitely worth a visit.
With the exception of the landmark, Art Deco “Tower” (circa 1929) and adjacent “Bargehouse” The OXO Tower Wharf building was extensively refurbished and repurposed in the late 1990s.
Now a mixed-use complex comprising a co-operative residential component, restaurants, cafés, studios, craft shops, galleries, a viewing deck and events facilities.
The claustrophobic retail/craft/café component set along the Thames frontage and 2 floors on narrow nautically inspired pedestrian galleries/decks reminiscent of walking the plank.
Ahoy there landlubbers.
The Tower itself is closed to the public.
Still need to explore this tower some more. Lovely boutiques and friendly business owners.
Interesting emersion exhibition, would recommend to others.
An oldie but goody, great for every occasion when you want to splash out and soak up the views and ambience!!
Expensive, ok food (not special) and crazy staff who frankly ruin the experience.
Great early evening dinner on the outside terrace on a glorious summer's day. Food and service was generally good although pork dish was a bit tough. Otherwise, very good. Terrific views across London.
Had a great day walking around the back streets and walking by the Thames. We came across this location from one of my favourite films.
Lovely restaurant friendly staff great service and food
Amazing views , comfortable sheltered seating outside on terrace. Lovely wines, good service BUT £105 for 6 glasses of wine & a Rum & Coke - means this was my 1st & last visit. Only dropped in for 30.mins for a post lunch drink.
Absolutely fantastic customer service, food and the best cocktail I have had in years - the champ with the gin. Wow. Unbelievable views, (and yet the food does not slack off in the least bit.) outstanding all around. Thank you
Great place for street photography if you can avoid the crowds, suggest early morning or late afternoon for images.
Went for a nice drink session with the girls. Lovely vibe with attentive staff. The atmosphere was a bit louder than expected but great overall. Would return.
Good vegeterian choices and tasty non alcoholic cocktails
The view is nice. Try and get a spot by the window.
Not visited for some time but managed to find time for a cheeky lunch in the Brasserie and it was fantastic. Delicious food and good value at
Gelateria review- Gelato is rich, super tasty, not too sweet! Cool interior 😁
We spent a lovely evening having a few drinks and chatting nothing was to much for the staff I will definitely visit again when I visit London
Not a city visitor normally, visiting London and dining at the Oxo Tower Brasserie was a real treat. The large glass windows and views across London over the river Thames were incredible. The set menu starting with a glass of champagne was delicious. The waiter looked after us perfectly frequently topping up our glasses. I loved the atmosphere, the food, drink and service.
Really enjoyed the food.
Waiter was superb.
Great views over the river and into the city.
A little noisy if you want an intimate venue.
Wanted to go for a while now it didn't disappoint
Celebrated my sister's bday here very recently, and the food was devine👏 service was grand and were lucky to have one of the best seats to capture the view...We shall return after COVID19 to be able to have a more relaxed dining environment🥂👍
Nice hotel with great set up for conferences with river views
Perfect place to hang out, lovely view, clean and price for drink & food are just ok, but the only downfall was their customer service, typically their waitresses. They're kinda pushing you to either get another drink quickly or leave !!
Overall, it was a good experience.
Just make sure when you are going there, keep ordering food or drink, otherwise waitresses getting on your nerves .
Have fun 👍
Oxo Tower was lovely. Staff were wonderful food, and the experience was super.. The views were lovely over the Thames. We were really lucky with the weather and sat outside on the balcony. Definitely do this instead of the Strand Palace Hotel . So much more fun and cheaper !!
Good food excellent service and lovely views over London
Nice vibe at London Design Festival Event brings lots of designers into the light for a few days: showing their work, or doing demos and talks.
Amazing service, beautiful views, lovely strong cocktails and the food was to die for. I only managed to snap my starter as I was way too into the food to remember to take a picture of my mains. I had the scallop starter with gerille mushrooms, yuuuuuuummmmm! The mains was venison cooked to perfection with truffle mac and cheese side
Absolutely BRILLIANT 👏 especially Brenda waitress !!!!
We just did the tourist 3 course menu and it was super easy, yummy, and iconic. If the summer go toward 9 pm, otherwise the sun will bake you inside. We went after 9pm and it was nice, but a couple at a table by us told us we can at the right time and how hot it was when they got there.
Booked a set meal for lunch time.
Menu & service were great.
Nice view over the Thames.
Cost was £35 per head which included 3 courses & a glass of Prosecco
Be aware that service charge is added plus extras are quite expensive (chips were £7)
Lovely atmosphere & I would definitely recommend this place to others
Thanks Guys
Sublime experience. Service impeccable. Cuisine unmatched. Wine list globally impressive. Views spectacular. Company... flipping marvelous!
Great views and ambience in the Brasserie. First class service and good food, thoroughly enjoyed it
This place is the heart of London amazing scenery. Very busy
Hosting clients for dinner in the restaurant. Lovely evening with great views on a clear night. Staff were very attentive throughout the evening. Menu offered something for everyone and was enjoyed by all. No duff courses between the 9 of us. Food was excellent and sat a lovely table with great views.
Lovely food, good portions, and quality. Lovely staff and, of course, great views.
Good value- three happy people enjoyed their lunch.
I'm sure if you're sitting overlooking the river it's a much better atmosphere. But I have to say I was really disappointed with the food. I ordered pork chop and it wasn't cooked to my taste. Perhaps I made the wrong choice and in fairness they did offer me something else and I didn't pay for the food I didn't eat. Shame is I was really looking forward to going.
Excellent experience. Large dining room in glass & chrome, with riverside views. Very good customer service. They catered for our party of seven with politeness and care.. I thought the food was very good. Portion sizes are small ( but nice) and clearly this is not a cheap meal. Very highly recommended.
We were not excited about the main menu so decided to have after tea with the voucher we had been given. However, we were shocked to be told that they are unable to provide a gluten free tea, so, instead, we went to the bar for cocktails and a snack. The choice of snacks was limited but very nice. Service was excellent as were the cocktails.
What a great building.
Really good tastes, and great views over North London
Attentive and friendly staff, excellent service and food to die for, beautiful views. A wonderful dining experience, would thoroughly recommend.
Great views over the Thames and St Paul's. Great service and one of those places that you wouldn't know about. They also o have a viewing gallery without having to buy a meal or drinks.
Excellent service and food. It was a very informal and relaxed service perfect for a long lunch. We we there over 3 hours.
Really good viewing platform from the bar
My friend took me here for a birthday treat. We were in the restaurant and had the 6 course tasting menu paired with wines. We had a great seat next to the window so we could look out across the Thames at the beautiful view. Food and wines were both exceptional. Staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable especially about the wine. They even put a birthday candle in my dessert and wrote happy birthday which made me feel special.
Will definitely recommend and return.
Good views on the river. Perfect spot for sunset, however it gets busy the terrace outside, so you might have to wait to be seated. Fair selection of drinks and wines, wine list is available at request.
Beautiful blend of culture, art and food. If you want to see some London life along the Thames, this is the place.
Visited the Brasserie at the top of the Tower. Great views across the Thames, and a lovely spot on a sunny afternoon.
It nice place for a few drinks with nice views of the city
Great view of the southbank and St Paul's. Food and drink are fan as you can see i enjoyed a lovley 🇩🇪 beer.
Went here for my birthday dinner food was good but portions was small for the price and £12 for an tiny bday cake was silly. The sauce that went with the sauce was very salty. We needed a lot more then two tiny packs of butter for 6 pieces of Tiny bread. Felt getting the waiters attention was a little hard too. The outdoor terrace was nice at night.
The food was tasty, lovely presentation. Portion very good.
Professional and friendly staff
Inside sitting to much noise, a few big plant's to break the sound would help.
A fair wine list,
Position outstanding.
Live music, good food, awesome views - what is there not to like!!
OK, too busy for me. Food was fine but not exceptional. Great views..
Had a lovely meal here for our anniversary. Menu has loads of good options and everything was delicious. Prices are relatively high, you're obviously paying for the location / view, and although the food is good it does feel like some items could be better priced, eg £7 for a few padron peppers or some boiled potatoes seems excessive. Service was nice, including a happy anniversary message with our dessert, and there was live music. Only weird thing was that we were brought our bill without asking for it which spoiled the end of the meal slightly as we still had full drinks and we weren't near the end of a 2 hour slot so there seemed no reason to rush us.
Would recommend for a nice meal. If you get the Harvey nichs app you can get 10% off and points.
We had our summer works do there and the place is gorgeous!!! The view to the Thames is to taking anyone's breath away. The staff was brilliant, but I am unsure if they are part of OXO or if we hired a separate catering company. Either way everything was just amazing.
A very nice bar with great staff and rather nice cocktails
Nice area. Has cafes and shops. There are two small piers that don't appear to be used by boats, ever. Sometimes you see fishermen and artists with their canvas on them. You can take nice pictures and at low tide can walk in the pebbly beach of the Thames. The Oxo Tower itself often holds artist showcase events but the building behind it holds far more. Most are free and always intesting.
Wonderful view and top of range wine selection!
Really elegant place with an amazing view.
What a fabulous, fun & delicious New Year’s Eve. The views are spectacular & service excellent and yes the food was just divine, love the cocktails also! Book well in advance.
My only gripe was, it took them forever to send a full detailed confirmation, even though they take the full amount at time of booking which was a few months. I had to follow up on all, until 2 weeks ahead. As we did not get the time of seating & a hard copy, I understand they did not know the menu, which was not the problem but you will need a hard copy of just the reservation.. Also make sure you are on the right side of the bridge as there menu/pass or confirmation does not guarantee crossing it on NYE night, as they said it would, we barely got across, after begging security.. That’s the 1 star less for only.
That said we still had an incredible time once in OXO! Worth every penny! 🎉
Really interesting. Shops selling safe unadventurous things though. Rents probable too high for that.
This is a really nice restaurant with beautiful white tablecloth’s. We have been going there for special occasions since 2015 and where always amazed by the quality of the food, staff’s attention and nice atmosphere. To have a proper dinner there, we suggest to plan to spend at least around 70£ per person (three course/no drinks).
Gorgeous views of our beautiful city. Dine just before sunset and watch the changing view while you dine in a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food and wonderful staff team. Good access for wheelchair users.
Superb restaurant I haven't had better in London. The perfect evening.
Fantastic spot for a drink with one of the best views in London. We were gifted with an awesome night view of the Thames.
Very cool vibe and impeccable service.
The Oxo Tower is a building with a prominent tower on the south bank of the River Thames in London. The building has mixed use as Oxo Tower Wharf containing a set of design, arts and crafts shops on the ground and first floors with two galleries, Bargehouse and gallery@oxo.
Lovely little Gallery. Changes its display on the regular. Always something interesting going on.
Birthday dinner. Highly processional service. Food good. Had a brilliant time.
Did a function there. Great place
Very fancy. Beautiful location. In the hub of everything that is happening.
Another fantastic dinner at Oxo Tower Restaurant. The staff are warm and wonderful, the food is excellent and the view is amazing. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible visit. Pre booked for my husband's 50th birthday. Really friendly and helpful with the booking. Fantastic service on the day, already had noted down to put happy birthday on my husband's pudding and as expected fantastic food. We were lucky to have the sunshine and enjoyed lovely views of London from a window table.
Good food, wine and cocktails ok, enjoyable evening sitting outside and overlooking the Thames and the sights of London. Worth going, make sure you get a reservation early. Nice place for a special meal out with friends and family, adult cocktail crowd. fairly dressy, cocktail and business dress, smart.
A superb brasserie with a lively atmosphere and with stunning views of the Thames River and the city. Good food and nice selection of wines. You pay the price for all of this though!
You expect a lot and the food, service and views are exceptional.
When you order a dessert that only mentions it contains chocolate and it's full of nuts, even if you're not allergic to them, you might not like them.
I mentioned this when my full plate was removed and was pretty much ignored. Not great when you're spending over £500 on lunch for 4.
Exhibited Artwork here with Erotic Art London for 3 years now. Wonderful site manager and lovely people. Blackfriars is nearest station by foot. Beautiful pier walk and little secluded beach under the tower. Glorious rustic and historic building
Nice place to stop off for a drink or snack while walking along the South Bank. You take a chance on seating availability as it's always busy at weekends.
Love that area, restaurants and the walk
Lovely restaurant, superb service, wonderful views, great choice of drinks and the food was absolutely delicious.
It's a really cool place with designer and maker shops upstairs and different exhibitions at the ground floor gallery and Bargehouse, a must visit for London's trendy crowd.
Excellent spot for dinner and drinks but the quality of the food could've been better. We all ordered hot dogs with chips and it seemed a bit too much like pub food. The location and the views are stunning though!
Great food at the brassiere and an amazing view of the city from the South Bank.
Decent food, decent night. Staff have good attention to detail & timing with food coming out was flawless.
Will be amazing in the summer I would imagine
We had my partner’s Birthday dinner at OXO Tower and it was amazing.
They were very accommodating when it came to organising the dinner for 9 people. They were very understanding when some of the guests dropped out due to illness.
The view was spectacular and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing service and incredible food as alwags:)
Great place to shop for souvenirs and trinkets that's a little off the main thoroughfares of London. Right by the Thames, it's a good place to stop for a coffee while enjoying a walk through the history & culture of the city.
Great reception upon arrival. Lovely view of the river from our table. Champagne preordered was served and that got the atmosphere rolling. Food was super and the service quietly present and perfect. I would definitely recommend this, not just for special occasions!
Great little park which doesn't seem to get overly busy... I often come here to train.
Great place to eat on the top floor, the view is exceptional and quality of cuisine is fantastic.
You do however need to book ahead if you don't want to wait. It's a high standard place so one should be mindful of the dress codes, prices are high but, again the standards and level is high.
A lovely area to relax in and have a coffee or something stronger whilst admiring the views.
Very nice location, attentive and polite staff, good choice of champagne and other drinks. The food was good - but could have been better, hence I had to withdraw one star. Will still come back soon, maybe just for a drink with a view in the bar section.
Used to deliver here to the Gallery....not the easiest to find first time, but you couldn't get closer to the Thames!
Staff were helpful.
If you're in the area, the Oxo is a must to go up to with an open public space next to the restaurant and bar which is great for pictures and videos.
I would give a 5 but the security told me that I couldn't use my Manfrotto Super Clamp and take a video of the Thames for some reason.
One of the nicest meals I’ve had in my life. Food was definitely worth the price. The single ginger and rhubarb gin with ginger ale mixer cost me £11.25 but the price is expected in such a prestigious and high quality restaurant.
Looking at the size of the dish and you think it isn’t going to satisfy your hunger however it does
as it’s cooked to perfection and the food is so rich. I wanted to order dessert too but we were too full.
Nice views, free to enter, balcony great to sit on and have a drink, recommended.
Tried couple of places there for eat or drinks. Service is good. Food is delicious. Drinks r on top. But bit pricey according the food portions they r serving. Other than that ok.amazing location at the bank of River Thames. Busy area full of tourists.
We went to the brasserie and it was absolutely stunning. The view, the food and the service was perfect. The staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back!
Tiny public access to the roof terrace, but a great view for free. Restaurant and bar have broader views of you don't mind buying food/drinks.
Many years ago I came here to see an exhibition about The day of the death, and it was amazing!, it was well organised and the had different activities in different floors, in the ground floor an enormous Ofrenda (altar) and another floor movies, activities for children, face paintings, etc. With the current situation, at the moment is only small exhibitions at the entrance, but, if you walk along the river and you want to rest and stop for a nice coffee, ice cream, refreshments or food, there are various options and there are some nice shops, which they are worth to take a look. This is an iconic place and I'm quite sure in a very near future many wonderful exhibitions like the one I saw are going to be available for people to enjoy them like I did👍
Quick visit to a location that’s always been on my list. Unfortunately the experience was a little disappointing. Not much atmosphere, and the place looks a little like an airport terminal. They need to replace the artificial grass on the balcony with something better. Views are nice, staff didn’t appreciate our feedback on the bar drinks. Will not be rushing back.
We did the set menu and at that price felt it to be a great deal. Food was great. Cocktails were yumm and the location is fantastic for a special event or date.
Definitely going to visit again.
We didn't have starters because we were planning to have a cheese board in port at the end so we didn't want to fill up.
But there was no fear of that happening because if that's the size of the main course I imagine that the starters would have arrived as vapours.
The three mouth falls of monkfish with two tiny dough balls and a garlic sauce, was indeed delicious. But it wasn't a meal, just a taster.
So then moving on to the cheese board.
It couldn't really be called a cheese cheese board it was a slither of three different kinds of cheese, pretty average cheese but nice in itself and worked perfectly with the port.
When I got home I had to cook myself some dinner am I dinner partner disclosed that he picked up a takeaway on the way home.
Not exactly what you expect when your food bill is well over the £100 mark.
We arrived hungry and we left hungry.
The cheese board was served with branston pickle where one would have expected quince.
So if you're in the market for an expensive snack in a lovely restaurant, with excellent views. Then this will be for you.
But if you actually want dinner then go somewhere else.
I visited the terrace restaurant at the Oxo Tower, a splendid spot to enjoy stunning views of London, perfect for going with friends or as a couple. Beyond the fantastic service, I accidentally left my wallet there, and the next day, they reached out to me on social media to return it with everything intact, including my passport and cash. The staff’s kindness and honesty made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back!
This was a very enjoyable experience. The ambience was nice, it has a very professional team and is very clean with gorgeous views. The bar had a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages that tasted smooth. They also have a balcony where you normally can go and enjoy the view but currently due to weather conditions it's closed. The prices for the experience are on the higher side however the food does match up to a high standard, similarly with the service. The food has very authentic flavours and you can taste them in their authenticity. The service was also seamless and they all work well as an effective team.
My only gripe would be that there were so many people packed in and no real covid protocols were set in place, other than this I would dine here again.
Love the scenery. Love the area. Riverside walking alongside Southbank, Gabriel's Wharft with its seaside small patch! Then a climbing on the steps to the bridge and alas on Blackfriars.
Fabulous place to shop! And meet the artists. It’s a stunning building full of artist and designer studios. You can find silk scarves, jewellery, hats, leather goods, fashion, ceramics and more!!!
This place has been a big part of my life well over twenty years. I have had exhibitions here also attended events and exhibitions in the Barge House.
Thanks to the Coin Street Community without them this place would not exist in its current form.
Has a divers range of places to shop, studios, galleries and cafes/restaurants. Defiently a place well worth a visit. Such an iconic place.
You wanna have a look at London skyline but not interested in paying 30£ at the shards? Come visit the oxo tower. It's only 8th floor so don't expect much but it's free. Just take the elevator and come to 8th floor. There's a restaurant. Ask the staffs and they will show u where to go. Take all ur time and enjoy the beautiful views from there. Eat or drink at the restaurant if u want. Also there r shops in this mall so time will be well spent
Wonderful views over the river and food with a spin on the classics. The pork was well seasoned, inventive with bacon wrapped pieces cut at angles and plated upward.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
I came here years ago and frankly it wasn't great. I've just been back and it was a lovely meal in the bistro restaurant. Very good service. The venison steak currently on the winter menu is amazing. Beautiful views if you are lucky with the weather like we were.
First time at the Oxo Tower. Lovely restaurant, good service and menu. We were fortunate enough to get a window table so had a fantastic view of St Paul's + the Christmas lights.
Fabulous dinner and wine selection. Beautiful venue and views across the Thames and the City. We booked for 6pm and it was fairly quiet, getting busier from 7:30. Great selection of wines and broad selection from the venue. Everything just that little bit extra and different. Thoroughly enjoyable.
I took my wife and 3 kids there so see the veiw from the viewing platform. We loved the sights on London and most especially as it was free to go and take the opportunity.
The one thing that was kind of a let down was that the area was really small when we arrived there were some people put there having a cigarette but none the less we still had our turn.
We were there when the sun had just about set and it was really lovely.
Thanks for letting us visit.
Came her first Time after boozy trip to watch Ire v Eng in Six Nations..and loved it. This time, came to enjoy the food and view and not let down by either.
As we were sat outside and dusk set, wife was offered blanket to keep warm...perfect service.
Be back again
My son took us for birthday cocktails. Great service and view xx
Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating.
Perhaps I’m old but the acoustics aren’t good.
But food very nice and what an amazing view over London and the Thames
The South Bank is a wonderful place to appreciate the amazing London skyline! The Oxo Tower is one of many developments where the former glories of old London have been preserved in modern and interesting ways. Highly Recommended.
Exceptional and great value fixed menu offering four perfect courses! All cooked and presented perfectly! Warm welcome and great table with amazing views! Special thanks to Micheal for taking great care of us. Look forward to returning soon! Kevin and Richard
Had chefs menu which was nice. We had mushroom as one course which was a little underwhelming. However the building, atmosphere and staff were amazing!
The food in the restaurant was delicious and well presented...not too much, just enough.
The view stupendous!
Well worth a visit.
Lovely Art Deco building on Southbank used as an art gallery, restaurant etc.
Never used it's restaurant. Only ever perused it's varying art exhibitions.
Surrounded by a plethora of tourist attractions along Southbank. Or just a pleasant riverside stroll sucking up the sights, sounds, and general ambience. There is always something new to view.
This place is full of good vibes. Lot's to see and do. Food to eat. Art to buy. Lovely courtyard with art installations on the walls. Even a little sandy beach.
51st birthday dinner, lovely experience. Had the Chateaubriand just to myself, ate both portions as partner vegetarian. 2 bottles of champagne also and bill was just over 400, on a Saturday night. Lovely meal.
I have been to the Oxo Tower on several occasions, but it has been a while since my last visit. However, my visit today was the BEST 👌🏾. The Brassarie Menu was excellent, there is a wide choice available to choose from. The drinks menu is also very impressive.
Staff were excellent. André, in particular was just exceptional in his service and knowledge of the wines on the menu. Throw in breathtaking views of the Southbank from their balcony just tops off a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.
Wonderful Balcony high above the River Thames
Very delicious Dinner with Sun Downer
The inner Restaurant is quitw loud and cannot be recommended
Very nice place to visit, and have been every year around the holiday season for 3 years running. Service is excellent and have nothing to complain about (about maybe the drink prices aha)
Excellent place to take pictures and jackets are provided if you didnt bring one to go outside (dont know if this is seasonal)
Came here for a drink following the dinner nearby. It has good view of the river and St Paul’s. However we didn’t book (Thursday night) so we had to sit at the 2nd row in the bar area. But we didn’t mind. Christmas drink menu is already on the serve - early November 🥹
A well establish restaurant with an historic co-operative background. The staff made us feel.very welcome and gave us to select drinks and for from menu. The food was well presented and drinks were on point.
Nice views from Southbank; good cocktails too... around £15-£16 a Cocktail. Particularly liked 'Garden of Eden'. They kindly give you a plate of sweet+smoky nuts (which our lovely waiter refilled !). Date night - 3x Cocktails will set you back about £100. RECOMMEND
Well worth a visit. Tasty food and my goodness me what a view
Lovely views - nicely spaced desks due to Covid and kind and attentive staff. Booking was easy, food was a little small on the portion size and price is on the larger size but with this type of cuisine it’s what you’d expect. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion. #oxo #food #dinner
Oxo tower wharf has a great selection of niche interest art and craft shops, jewelry, fine art and food outlets.
The wharf is spread out over a few floors and the rear courtyard is easy to miss from the riverside.
You can ascend to the viewing platform even if you’re not using the restaurant via the lifts at the rear.
I want to revisit when I have more time, a great mix of businesses here.
Absolutely beautiful view on the 8th floor.
Attended an event once here.
Love that you are able to just turn up. We sat at the bar (for 5 hours) happily sipping cocktails enjoying the view and spectating cocktail making. Big thanks to Mantas for the perfect cocktails
Oh, the OXO Tower! It's such a beautiful place! The restaurant there is really nice, and the view of London from the tower is absolutely breathtaking, especially with the River Thames right beside it. You should definitely check it out if you're in London!
Excellent French style restaurant and brasserie in London. Clean, spacious and very bright, this restaurant has well-trained staff and exceptional cuisine. We recommend without reservation for an event or why not, for a casual outing.
One side was full up with a private function but the other was open to the public. Lovely staff, cracking little high table with stools. The view was great, the weather great and the young lady from France who served me friendly and professional to perfection. When I left without my hat she popped it behind reception in case I came back for it. If you're going for a drink in London this should be in your top three.
Went here for my birthday serveral years ago and I was blown away by how polite the staff were. They also brought me out a little ice cream, free of charge when we casually mentioned that this was my birthday meal. Went above and beyond and you have a lovely view of the river. It still looks nice when it is raining.
Viewing deck was closed for a private party when we went but bar is nice and not terribly expensive
Went to the restaurant at 10th floor. We enjoyed the food and cocktails. Service was perfect. Awesome view and atmosphere. Worth a visit.
Great restaurant, they were extremely understanding of my 3 year old, the food is expensive but good quality. The kitchen were able to take food intolerances into account and still produce delicious meals.
Great views of London and great original cocktails. Prices are high but you’re paying a small premium for the view.
I absolutely loved this place, the service was amazing, very welcoming, atmosphere was really nice, the cocktails are well presented and tasted very good, clean, wasn't really anything I could fault. Prices weren't to far off what I expected, think I'd need to do a bit of saving for a champagne though!
Great place to find gifts XD
Lovely setting on Southbank. We sat and had a drink whilst the sun set. Highly recommend.
We recently went to the Bedu exhibition at the OXO tower. It was absolutely brilliant. The barge where this was held is an inspiring building, I live the energy if this space.
Went there for a celebration and you guys did a perfect job to make this evening even more special! The meals were delicious and I loved the atmosphere!!
This was our first visit to this wonderful restaurant. We sat outside on a beautiful summer's evening. The staff were nice and the food delicious. I shared the best beef wellington I have ever eaten with my son. About £100 per head including drinks, but it was worth it.
Beautiful historic building, perfect for the art fair I participated in. Be aware there is limited access for wheelchair users.
Wonderful place to eat and view the Thames. It also has a super view of London.
I just had a pot of Earl Grey tea, and it came with a delicious, quality, chocolate on the side.
Very nice terrace to drink and relax after a walk in London with beautiful view also when it’s raining. I recommend to book a table or you need to wait or drink on the bar .
Was great to be back up in London. Had some amazing cocktails on the balcony. But you were a bit packed in with people next to you. But worth it for the great views!
Absolutely glorious experience. The food was delicious, and the company was a pleasure. It was an amazing, great evening entertainment. A must visit.
Possibly over efficient service which lead to our mains being brought within 5 minutes of our bread and olives
The food is exceptional and would go again for a special occasion only though as prices have shot through the roof
Went for after work drinks and the selection and variety of cocktails were lovely. However, the bar staff were very rude to us when we informed him we would be paying separately. Even though we ordered at the bar we were served with a service charge.
I'm not sure reaching 2m across the bar to place a drink infront of us warrants as service on top of an already expensive cocktail. Would probably not recommend this place to others.
Pre Christmas cocktails. Always a great plsce to visit especially at Christmas. And some winter warmer cocktail ideas add for some extra treats. A must visit if you are on the Southbank
Fast speed, good food but small portions, other customers are very upper class (please treat staff with respect people)
I expected a better view, but it is only a small area permittef for viewing alone, but the staff were kind enoigh to guide me there and the view was decent, a good view along the thames!
I went to the Oxo on a Friday evening. On getting there, we asked to wait a little while our table was being prepared. I used the opportunity to take in all the views over the Thames while waiting on the balcony. We were given a nice corner table with great views. Food and service were good. Restaurant had a nice ambience with some live music. It was a lovely evening and well recommended.
Great destination if you want quirky crafts and gifts or a meal or snacks. I like the little photo gallery which recently had a stunning display of wildlife photography.
Delicious food and attentive, friendly staff. Pricey but worth it.
Had a private luncheon there for a special occasion. Wow what a treat. Special food and perfect staff.
.
Went to see Vivid Art Exhibition in Oxo Tower. All Artists have Parkinson's disease and found ways around their limitations to produce their Art.
Great viewing deck but don't bother with the food
Wonderful magical evening. Staff and restaurant are so amazing. Do go there. You will not be disappointed
The Oxo Tower restaurant and bar is a beautiful place to enjoy lunch, afternoon cocktails or snacks. The panoramic view of London is simply amazing. The service is excellent and the drinks and cocktail menu were excellent. A very enjoyable location to enjoy and unwind after a visit to the South Bank. A visit to the Oxo Tower bar is highly recommended, must.
The area around the building is worth a visit, there is a lot to see. If you can make the the lift tot the tower restaurant and have dinner there - food is excellent.
A nice place for a drink or quick lunch. Excellent vires
"We enjoyed stunning views of
City of London during our visit.
However, the drinks and nibbles were quite expensive, with cocktails starting at £14.00."
✅ Easy to find
✅ Excellent customer service
✅ Easy booking process
The building does give a free option where you can still see these views check website more information ℹ️
