Reviews of Seven Dials
J. R.
Just lived this market with all the different food stalls. We spent time at the cheese place which had a conveyor, sushi style from which you take little plates of cheese, what an amazing concept. Will definitely return next time in London
P. C.
Amazing place for having fun with friends.. great beer collection and lots of different food options
E. l.
Had great fun here, nice meal at the Hawksmoor. Best steak I've ever eaten and bone marrow is amazing! Was a nice place for a walk around. The whipped place cheesecake was delightful!
A. W. o. G.
Lovely Christmas lights, and an eclectic indoor market that has been converted into a Food Hall for independent traders. Very popular with a younger crowd, but very expensive. (£3.90 for a doughnut, £20 for a pizza!).
J. B.
Love the vibe - cosy and dynamic... but extremely busy. Varied and wonderful selection of cuisines. I was really looking forward to trying out a couple of their food stands (the Indian ones especially) - we came out of our way just to eat here, however it was so busy we weren't able to find seats to sit down and enjoy our meal... which meant we had to go elsewhere to eat. Cool place, its a shame their seating is as limited as it is.
Y. G.
A great assortment of shops and curious cafes. The lanes come abuzz on weekends. Many spots to get a quick bite, a cup of coffee, or a refreshing drink. The alleys are worth a dekko.
C. C.
I actually loved this place for it's variety. My fave is Bong Bong's kitchen. Great food, friendly service...beer's a bit overpriced though. 5£ a bottle? Otherwise, good crowd, not too noisy, you can have fun or pick a quiet spot.
M. U.
Excellent place to meet up with friends. Our Scottish friends were very impressed. The cheese bar was very unique. Great experience. Lots of choices of food stalls too. Plentiful seating area. Highly recommended. Attractive surroundings.
S. O.
So we happened to stumble across Seven Dials Market ..... its amazing and absolutely spoilt for choice by all the delicious food on offer! I managed to restrain myself from taking a seat at the cheese bar but did opt for dumplings and then pizza washed down with a lovely glass of Rose 😊
The atmosphere is refreshing and loved that you could could just have little bits of everything.
A must if you are in the area.
C. N.
Staying at Radisson blu hotel on Mercer Street and love the whole area! Cute shops, loads of awesome food and drink spots too. Everything you need in a awesome cool area!
N. C.
The seven dials spire is located in a relaxing pedestrian area and was opened by Holland Queen Beatrix.
J. W.
From The Ashes was damn good meat.
Great vibe in there, nice disco music though speakers felt a bit cheap or maybe they need a little sound engineering. Also very warm inside!
P. C.
After wandering around London in the evening, l came across this interesting place. In the centre point of the seven dials you will find a monument decaded the Queen of the Netherland and surrounding it are seven roads. From here Covent Gardens is a short walk away.
Y. -.
Delicious food court. Lively amosphere. Staff kept everything nice and clean.
F. I.
Very nice place with a good atmosphere, I have tried the Truffle burger and it was amazing, fresh bun, properly grilled meat (pink inside) and of course truffle mayo! I recommend to visit.
A. R.
Really like Seven Dials! We tried Bongbong's Manila Kanteen and it was delicious. Loved the recycling concept for the water bottle and tins for glasses.
S. J.
A lovely place for gathering either day or night time. This is the actual road that cars can drive through the circle so, you'd better be careful during the walk. Isn't it lovely during Christmas?
O. L.
Pretty place with lots of lively shops and restaurants.
E. C.
Went to the lower food court for a bite to eat for lunch. Lots of choice. I had a pork bun from the barbecue place! It was absolutely delicious!!! We had delicious Cocktails too. Will definitely go again!
S. G.
Something for everyone, food of every variety. Drinks, deserts and a cheese bar. There is a DJ on in the evening. If you're in the area it's a great place to visit.
H. J.
Great atmosphere, lots of great food options, if you can find a seat its totally worth it. Had lots of cocktails and we each grabbed food as the evening went on. Worked out really well.
T. W.
Really great spot for a quick bite to eat, loads of places to choose from with something to suit all tastes and budgets, well worth a visit if you're in Covent Garden and looking for something different to the usual tourist traps.
One thing that was slightly jarring was when they started playing psychedelic rock at a borderline uncomfortable volume. I think someone must have complained about it because when the next song came on was much calmer and quieter.
N. C.
Really cool place. Beer not cheap mind but very tasty. There is a huge choice of international cuisine within the market and loads of communal spots to eat together. Unique experience.
M. M.
Nice place to visit, definitely DO NOT try and drive in there, people walk on roads and dead ends. But plenty of bars and restaurants with good food
L. C.
Gem of a place for a quick lunch. So many different choices of food for everyone
A. B.
This place was amazing!!!! The other half spotted it and it didn't look like much from the outside however inside was like stepping into a different world. There is a fantastic array of food places to choose between, from Mexican to Japanese through to Italian and bbq'd food. It all smelt devine and certainly what I ate was delicious. I loved the atmosphere and the bustle of the place. I'd love to go back again!
M. V.
Very beautiful area for shopping. Smaller boutiques with less known brands.
D. M. K.
Amazing market food hall, vibrant atmosphere and lots of choice for food and drinks or just for general meet ups and people watching. Plays music and often has a dj , great spot for a casual get together
J.
This place is just sooo cool, amazing pubs, food places, short walk to soho too. This itself is a great chill out spot, very busy place, great atmosphere. If in London, so visit this amazing place (and visit lolas for amazing cup cakes)
L. F.
Just beautiful and pretty little shops. Lots to see do and eat.
H. S.
This area of London head a great vibe, quaint alleyways filled with little shops that are full of interest. It can get busy so be aware that weekends etc can be crowded
E. L.
Great place to visit. Independent shops, theatres, good food, street shopping, coffee shops and more. You can spend half a day here easily.
P. R.
This one of my favourite shopping areas in London: Fopp - great for CDs, many small clothing retailers of great variety, good selection of restaurants, wine bars and hotels. Covent Garden is just a few streets away and if, like me, you're a coffee nut then head for Monmouth coffee bar in (surprise, surprise) ... Monmouth Street!
R. D.
It's lively busy there are a nuce pubs theatres and shops around.
C. W.
The only problem with this place is picking what delicious food to have from the traders.
The place had a nice atmosphere to it with good background music. Wasn't too loud and we easily took our young daughter. Toilets were very clean.
Will 100% be back on our next visit to London
S. N.
Absolutely spoilt for choice, the ability to order drinks to your table was a win to start. The tequila went down a treat, £4 a shot is justifiable
We went for the yumbun to start 10/10
- chicken buns, tartar sauce, gubbins
- fries with seaweed and truffle
Then el pollote for the recommended wings 100/10
- 5 guava glazed wings (they gave us 6)
- chips with avocado and feta cheese
Wow, clean, friendly vibes 👌
C. E.
The beautiful sundial tower still provides useful steps from which to people watch around this central Covent Garden point. A lot of the shops have survived the pandemic including the ice cream shop thankfully. A lovely area of Covent Garden, bespoke shops and a vibrant, high end and sexy retail area with fantastic theatres, restaurants, bars and coffee shops everywhere.
s. d.
Really nice area full of coffee shops and smaller boutiques. There is big food market called the seven dials market right beside it with great selection of amazing foods. There is plaent of hotels and theatres and mostly all within walking distance. Great place to browse about.
R.
Always a favorite place to eat when we are around the area, nice mix of styles of food, so great if there's a group of you and there's never too long a wait for a seat even if its heaving.
A. F.
Loved this place, approximately 12 different places to eat or drink. Variety of types of Street food from Mexican, Chinese, Japanese etc etc great place to visit
W. R.
Walking around London I found this gem where locals hang out.
Great atmosphere, amazing selection of food.
k. p.
Absolutely lovely indoor food market. Great range of food from Japanese,Indian,Smoked beef to name a few. Also had a wonderful chai tea, very authentic. Will definit visit as gain
A. N.
Really nice atmosphere, loads of different styles of food to choose from - something for everyone! Really, really delicious. Can't wait to go back and try some more! Good gluten free selection too.
A. W.
Historic place of London. Literally splitting in 7 ways
B.
We really love the seven pretty streets and courtyards of Seven Dials with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We enjoy our cocktails in the Escapologist an underground bar styled somewhere between a Masonic Lodge and a historic Victorian men’s club.
A. N.
Keice (may have misspelt) was so lovely for us tonight! Made us a cocktail of our choice and very friendly service! Defo recommend for drinks
G. D.
Fantastic place for shopping, eating and drinking. It is busy but most of the people are chilled out. Some small interesting shops which you don't see on your normal high street adds to the vibe.
M. E. R. A.
Amazing food, great vibe. And couldn't get enough of this place on our 3 day stay in London... We came back everyday for different food and drinks. Couldn't reccomend this place enough. Wish we had something similar in Bristol!
R. D.
Lovely shopping experience visiting the back roads of central London. Came across an amazing jewellery store and the sales assistant was so lovely. Also came across a cheeky waffle shop and I must say it was delicious. Worth the visit.
O. S.
We visited Seven Dials as part of a walking tour of the City.
A famous location close by Shaftesbury avenue. It is famous as an intersection for seven roads and it has a statue in the centre of the intersection to mark this. A great photo opportunity as the statue has seven Sun Dials at its top.
There are a number of retail outlets, restaurants, bars as well as the famous Seven Dials Indoor market located nearby.
There are also a number of small Courtyard's too which are worth walking through as they house a number of eateries, bars and local businesses.
The whole area is well worth a visit.
L. T.
Loved it. Had a nice vibe .
J. K.
Amazing space of little authentic street eateries with great food. In the heart of Covent Gardens/Soho so expect elevated prices though not extortionate. Beautiful atmosphere/ambience with music as well. Loved it!
D. R.
There are so many food halls in London, how would this one be different? Well, they are actually also an incubator for street food restaurants and the kind of food and experiences their restaurants provide is pretty special in comparison to others, offering very unique offerings. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!
D. v. E.
Good part of Central London to experience the city's atmosphere. Although it's a relatively small area, there are quite a few points of interest. Smart boutiques, a small theatre, nearby cinemas and good access to Soho, Covent Garden and the West End have kept me using Seven Dials as a thoroughfare over the years.
P. N.
One of central London's "villages", Seven Dials is a beautiful area with boutiques, bars, restaurants and theatres. It lies directly between Covent Garden and Soho and yet has a character all of its own. In Dickens times this was the most depressed area of London. My how times change!
J. S.
This neighbourhood of West end London is really interesting with its variety of shops ,restaurants and theatres
Beautiful Christmas decorations around the monument. Very nice area which I will investigate more at a later date.
J. L.
The FOOD 🤤 The smells 🤤 The choices! I loved this place. Wandered in on a whim but it was amazing!
J. M.
Good located, a little noisy at night. The bathroom has a sensor which turns the light off every 30 seconds. I find this both annoying and dangerous, especially when you're in the shower.
S. C.
Great choice of food and drinks. An easy option when you are planning with friends and can't agree where to eat!
K. E. G.
Lots of lovely food places 🤩 Yum bun in particular was fab
A. J.
This place one of the most unique places in London, especially around Christmas time. This tiny roundabout leads to six tiny and beautiful streets, and each of these streets has tiny allies that leads to green and decorated courtyards with galleries, coffee houses and bars.
S. S.
Lively, spacious, clean area to meet up with friends and family. Lots of different choices to eat and drink. Also a few stalls with jewellery, art work etc to browse through.
L. G.
Its amazing place, where 7 streets come together, plus a small monument, looks very nice, loads of shops and food places, especially this time of year all Christmas season decorations in the evening, just looks amazing. Enjoyed every bit of it.
T.
A hidden gem in London. Wonderful vibe and energy. A definite tourist attraction.
Many interesting characters passing through. I like the little hidden streets within Seven Dials, somehow it doesn't seem that you're in the middle of a bustling town.
There is a mish-mash of businesses, places to eat and drink. Love it here.
L. F.
Great little indoor street food place. Sat at Pick n Cheese and had a great afternoon sipping lots of red wine and munching cheese and various tasty accompaniments, picked off the conveyor 🍷🧀
M. W.
Were to start? It's exceptionally well thought out, clean and enough choice for everyone. I only tried the award winning chicken and it was amazing, next time I'll try something else. Loved this place
2. D.
This is in Convent Gardens and is a great place to explore for shops bars cafes and restaurants.
It's a vibrant area of London and we'll worth a visit.
G. K.
A Fab place to sit and see the busy street passing you by. The centre of theatre, art, some great creative studios, food places, eating alleys and pubs, this place is constantly abuzz with activity and people walking all around.
The place changes charter from a busy creative district to an evening light party and food zone that accommodates singles, party hoppers as well as families with kids alike!
R. J.
Nice looking, fairly upmarket shops. Better than the area to the south of it
R. K.
Never been up to covent garden or surrounding areas and seen it so empty .
No cars , people or buses clogging up the roads .
You can walk around and look without getting bumped , pushed or hassled .
It's such a shame for all the businesses that are suffering but it's a once in a life time opportunity, make the most of it .
B. M.
Covent Garden Market is a good place to eat and drink catering for all tastes. Chai Guys Masala Chai is a warm welcome and satisfying drink on a cold day. The staff are friendly and willing to help. It's a welcoming change from the well known Franchises. Offering a good and varied selection of drinks.
W. W. T.
I had a burger from Truffle. My wife wanted something from Bong Bongs as she is a filipina but despite just opening, they did not have what she wanted so she left. My burger was nice. It got very busy for a Monday lunchtime.
G. T.
Seems like a very trendy, vibrant area. Loads of different shop including vintage clothes, vegan cafe and alternative living stores. Nice area.
B. V. H.
Always a lovely little stroll around this area. Never miss a chance to grab a coffee at Monmouth just up the street. One of the best in the city.
A. S.
Another trendy food court place. Good location.
Things I like the most about this place are that they’ve got a water fountain downstairs and cleaned bathrooms!
S. P.
Just loved the vibe here. Enough options to drink. Good enough options to eat. Burritos, fried chicken, burgers or a variety of vegan options; or just basically spend some quality time with a bunch of friends. Sevens dials is a palce not to be missed if you are around the convent garden area. Do try out the beef ramen, which I feel is pretty competitive. Overall, I would recommend to pay the place a visit.
A. J.
Looks stunning around Christmas time all decorated and lit up and looks like a Halo. It was so peaceful when we visited around 8 pm on a weekday.
R.
Nice relaxing place, good coffee and things to buy
D. K.
Modern, exciting area with lots of trendy cafes, amazing international food, great stores for shopping although a bit small...if you are new to London, there's lots of signs around, you can explore with ease. Only downside is that the places do close early.
j. l.
Varied international cuisine served on ground floor and mezzanine area. Average pricing but great atmosphere and quickish prep times for the food.
m.
The Seven Dials is the area of London where 7 roads meet at a junction and the centre of the junction stands a tall column topped with 6 sundials. There's lots of shops here, not just because it's close to Leicester Square and Covent Gardens, but in the surrounding area too.
It's actually nicer shopping here that in Leicester Square because of the many small boutiques and independent stores Seven Dials.
N. D.
Beautiful part of London: quirky, meandering streets, exceptional range of shops, wondrous architecture and the exceptional Seven Dials Market with a great range of tasty street food.
S. R.
We went to a place called Smoke n Bones which was really good. We got very lucky with seats which came free just before our order but a lot of people had to eat standing which is something you need to worry about if you come here when it's busy.
s. g.
This area is so nice and there's so much good food, coffee and shops. This area that cool vintage did, record store, a skateboard store, a Game store, unique clothing store and more! It was great to see it during Christmas time all pretty with lights. And Covent garden is near by so it's a great area to just spend an afternoon in.
p. c. l.
Gets a bit crowded in the weekend, but is a good place to hang out with friends.
The last time we went there was a DJ mixing party music in the Pub court.
m.
Music is alwayssss too loud. Little to no social distancing. It's funky and some good food places (though can't ever get anything sweet/dessert)
s.
In the eighteenth century the Seven Dials monument was a meeting place for thieves and pickpockets, so to reduce crime, it was moved twenty miles away to the once peaceful little village of Weybridge. Londoners missed their monument so a meeting was arranged to request its return. The mayor of Weybridge was late for that meeting as he’d mislaid his diary, and his pocket watch, and his horse. When he eventually arrived, he explained that the monument couldn’t be returned as it was popular in Weybridge and was even drawing lots of new visitors to the area. He also asked if anyone had seen his wallet or the railings from around his house.
The monument with sundial that’s here today is a reproduction but it works just as well as the original. I used it to tell the time when I was last in the area (as I’d somehow lost my phone).
K. P.
Wonderful tourist money pot as its always been. I'm there infrequently these days as its a long time.e since I wS Covent Garden resident but shops, hairdressers, both women and men and the lovely but pricey Covent Garden Hotel remain delightful. Always worth a trip and I was especially delighted to take lunch at Mon Plaisir and to be defeated by their mussels!!!
f. k.
A unique bunch of food stalls within the market offering a few halal and vegan options. We went on a Friday evening and the place was crazy busy.
Really hard to find a table in the food court but they had a DJ playing great music so a big thumbs up for creating an amazing vibe.
n. j.
Great area of London just to the north of Covent Garden and next to theatre land. Lots of independent cafés, bars and shops. Almost a village type atmosphere and not crowded.
S. C.
Stumbled across this place quite by accident, and whilst we didn't try any of the food or drink, everything looked very good. Sorely, sorely tempted but managed to resist the delights on offer. Were it not for our later dinner reservation I'm sure we would have succumbed. Must remember to go there and try it some time
B. L.
A nice little gem in the heart of London, favourites in the area include Orcs Nest and Chick'n'sours
A. B.
It's become more expensive with high end fashion shops. It used to have unique funky little shops. Expect £££ prices.
S.
Fantastic place with many restaurants and bars, great atmosphere and many vegan options!
P. A.
Trendy chic area in former slum. Center has the Matilda Theater. Great show
M. R.
Picturesque square with an obelisk at the crossroads of the seven dials. Plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants around. Also many musical and theater options closeby. Beautiful Christmas ornaments everywhere.
M. A.
This is a lovely place for a walk, plenty of shops, restaurants and theatre's nearby, when in London I love to explore and pass here quite often, it has quirky little restaurants down the different alleyways but also boutique shops, it's a lovely location for exploring and finding something different to do.
s. y.
Nice place and not too much overcrowded.
A. L.
Plenty of choice of little boutique restaurants with tables within the centre to sit at.
Can recommend the cocktails from the bar downstairs, The Banana Warehouse cocktail was lovely.
S. D.
Very comfortable, needs a look at the maintenance side of it as tap in bathroom was very hard to turn off Properly.
G. D.
Great place to visit when you are in London just up the road from Leicester Square Station. Make sure you allow enough time to see the sights and best to get there on dusk or just after dusk.
L. B.
Great food Hall with bar and several decent food outlets. Plenty of seating, music in the evening. Good service. Decent beer too.
D. G.
A vibrant area of London. Great smaller type restaurants coffee shop and
boutiques
Well worth a visit especially at Christmas
T. A.
A London landmark welcoming you to Covent Garden.
A great spot for relaxing, many cafe, bars and restaurants to choose from as well as a range of boutiques and specialty stores.
L. M.
It can be tricky to get a seat downstairs but all the food is excellent. I loved the cheese bar especially.
The only fault I can give this place is the WiFi and phone service is terrible so make sure you meet your friends beforehand.
R. G.
Great neighborhood. Easy walking distance to Covent Gardens and the Underground stop there.
I you walk from the underground station to Seven dial using Neal St. and Earlham St. be sure to watch for the Cupcake shop on Neal St.
J. c.
Great space full of tasty bars and food places. It’s like a modern mini street food market indoors.
No dogs allowed though!
Q. B.
Great place. Very hip with lots of cool folk around, but didn't feel too out of place.
Smoke n bones was good but expensive for the portion sizes..
Bait did lovely fish dishes..
All in all a great day out.cant wait to be back to try others.
Lots of halal options.
J. (.
A genuine survival of seventeenth century London shops in what was once a slum development (with plaques on the wall to tell you about it), but the houses and shops now sell for a million. Sadly covid has put paid to such oddities as the chandler's shop, and I fear that the cockle, jellied eel and whelk barrow will never return, but the young and healthy clientele are unconcerned about covid, the cafes and restaurants are buzzing and the "fashion" shops seem to be doing OK.
k. p.
Always a joy. On a Sunday it's a great place to wander and pop into little independents for ice-cream and coffee!
Love it!
M. R.
Nice place to visit in London. Many shops, pubs and restaurants down the seven roads branching out from the monument in the middle
M. S.
Such a beautiful part of central London. Nice to walk around any season (the lights at Christmas are so special.) There is a mix of higher end high street shops, hotels, pubs and restaurants and theatre.
V. “. L.
Really fascinating area at Seven Dials. I would say it's very hipster and the It's true when they say there's adventure at Seven Dials Market and it goes in your tummy
A. A.
Lovely spot in the central London for a nice day out.
I enjoy wandering in the area as it us full of interesting little shops and places to eat.
N. J. J.
Great area, with many small unique shops and cafes, food and dessert places..
A. P.
Fantastic food market with great food choices, drinks, live DJs, and an elegant but efficient interior design.
P.
I was happy to take the time and walk through this little neighborhood. Cute shops, delicious hot chocolate, and a few hidden spaces. It's a nice area to wander around.
A. M.
Amazing, not busy and modern
O. A.
Place has history. The seven different roads lead to the dial, reminding of olden days with horse carts.
J. W.
Whilst steaks were amazing the scallops band sea bream were melt in the mouth . Full of flavour ! Excellent wines . Good service .
M. S.
Lovely Christmas decorations and very lively place. Plenty of eating and drinking places with food from all over the world.
A. G.
Nice ace. Good location. Variety of activities around (m&m, Lego, street shows, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.) and... Place to hide from a sudden rain...
T. A.
I just love this area, if you have a idea about just rambling through beautiful streets and grabbing food and drinks here and there and doing a bit of casual shopping - or just soaking in the "london" feel - this is the place.
Z. F.
Charming area. Easy to travel along all 7 streets and a fun way to discover hidden gems in London.
C. S.
One of the most cozy neighborhoods in London with lots of lovely small streets and shops. Best part of London.
D. P. L.
Pick & cheese had to be one of our favourite experiences on our trip to London, thanks to suitcase monkeys channel via YouTube for giving us the info on this place.
This is definitely worth a visit if your a cheese lover and the combinations are never ending.
P. L.
If shopping and eating are your thing it is probably a must but it I also worth a visit just for the fascinating history of the area.
D. M.
Love this pub, usually go before going to the ivy restaurant, I'm seven dials, beer always great only small so gets busy but a great atmosphere
T. S.
Always fun, always beautiful! Everything you could ever want to shop for is here in an interesting and dynamic location. During Christmas, I think they have the most beautiful display of lights in central London!
I. W.
A busy street, but one will be able to spot the structure from afar. Seven Dials is also very close to Neal's Yard, a hidden gem of a place.
K. K.
All leads to seven dials, specially if anywhere near the tourist center of London. Walking distance from Southbank, Westminster, Houses of Parliament, Thames, St James' park, Buckingham palace, the mall, Covent Garden, China Town, Soho... You'll pass it more than a few times if you're on a walkabout
C. E.
Cool part of town often overlooked. Some cool places to eat and drink and some interesting independent shops.
S. C.
Lots of small independent food outlets under one roof. It's a great idea, the food looked good but we felt it was a bit pricey, even for London.
Ν. Ά. Σ.
What a lovely place. A bit crowded. Recommend to visit. It has good restaurants too. Stunning lights and decorations in Christmas times.

Really enjoyed the seven dials market. We ate in the pick & cheese bar which is a great way to explore delicious British cheese. A decent variety of food places to make this a hot spot for food lovers. Atmosphere was buzzing too. Great to see lots of people dining out after the lockdown being lifted.
E. C. G.
Love seven dials.... The experiences of ticket holders for the Christmas fair was great and should be extended to everyone
S.
Went to the winter festival .. strange event..no Christmas stalls ... never realised I'd been to 7 Dials before. Mousetrap and The Ivy. Can someone help me with its history?
G. P.
Very busy but great selection of food and drink.
S. B.
Great food market in the heart of the city, right beside Covent Garden with some amazing food stalls. A lot of good choices and a really good book store fore the cultural foodies among you.... Two floors, just like a very cool mall rhat is all about food
H. G.
A central location in the shopping district, it is lovely here day and night. Nicely lit for Christmas too
V. H.
Not too busy, lovely place to walk around and have a coffee while watching the world going by. Don't drive, hardly any places to park and probably confusing to navigate. In a lovely sunny day might feel like in Paris with lots of flowers around you.
I. W.
wow this place I great! its indoors and really nice it has a range of foods to eat from all around the world; they even have a little bookshop! really nice place to go to eat, I really recommend :)
N. T.
Good social place to eat and drink
H. W.
Food hall is vibrant and interesting stalls and shops nearby. Worth a little look.
p. (.
I just came here for the Magnum store.... Really this is nothing. It's an intersection but it's a great starting point for exploring. There is so much cool stuff within a few blocks, see pics for examples...
P. B.
Food paradise! Lot of different cuisines, type of food etc. Everyone finds perfect dish. Also spacious and comfortable open place. On Sunday, there is live music.
A. N.
Went on a Saturday with children and it was very busy, eventually managed to find a table. Food was great as always,
T. W.
It was a nice place for a stroll, one can imagine how lively it would be without the lockdown....
P. M.
Sale at Farah. Got what I wanted. Now I look like a knob at an 80s golf club. That's ma style. 7 dials is never less than really interesting.
N. S.
This is possibly my favourite part of London. Filled with great eateries & bars. Good quality shops & some unusual places too. A stones throw from Covent Garden & the theatre district. A great place to spend a few hours.
J. H.
Excellent out of the way place, one centre piece in the middle of a roundabout, 7 roads going off from it hence the name Seven Dials, good shops, restaurants, coffee bars etc....worth a look and only a short walk from Covent Garden and Leicester Square..... brilliant.
J. P.
Lots of Boutique shops a hidden Gem. Seven small roads meet at the roundabout, very busy during Spring and Summer months. There is a very nice Hotel and a lovely traditional pub which overflows on to the street with people during busy times.
D. G.
The cheese bar is particularly good. We went for dinner but I’d say it’s much better suited for a lunch. Each cheese goes around on a sushi belt and is labelled, which corresponds to the menu. Cheeses are paired with other food to complement it: such as flapjack, marmalade, meat or vegetables.
P.S the cheese toastie is so good 🤤
T. B.
Fun area right off the main drag in soho, it's a quiet spot with great spots and restaurants, but not so many pubs as the rest of soho so it's a bit quieter.
S. D.
In Covent Garden and a lovely quaint place with shops, restaurants and cafes. These are reasonably priced. There is a market near by. At the end of Seven Dials there is a Cheap and good cafe that sells Jacket potato, and other things that is cooked to perfection. Well worth the visit.
A.
Great selection of food and drink, fairly reasonably priced for the premium location. A great place to go solo or with friends at any time of day, escape the chaos outside and relax
P. J.
Centre of a wheel shaped road junction surrounded by bars, theatres and various shops, many pop up types. Also in the area a strangely large number of vacant premises at any one time
T. H.
Good location, not as many beer selections as other brew dogs but service great
M. J.
Amazing mixture of shops and restaurants. Great choices for everybody. Loved the cheese bar.
M. G.
Awesome spot. Went to the bong bong Manila Kanteen (Filipino restaurant) it was great. The food was amazing, I hate vegetables but the cauliflower there was by far the best. Music was great and the cocktails were brilliant.
J. K.
Great wander around some lovely cafès & shopping.
W. B.
great place to eat and celebrate with fun
S. R.
Seems like a place where kids who aren't quite old enough to drink would congregate.
P. R.
Nice place to relax right below the dials as you people watch. All the.streets coming off it are charming and make a wonderful walk. Get a coffee from the nearby coffee place and chill out
S. P. J.
Great coffee, very smooth.
The double walled glasses they use for dine in are a nice touch.
B. Q.
This whole area has a buzz to it, linking chinatown, covent garden and Leicester Square, great place to stop and watch the world go by
R. T.
So good to be amongst people again.
Spent the afternoon here with my daughter, having not seen her for months. We mooched, eat, drank, had some laughs and soaked up the gorgeous atmosphere.
London is back.
G. T.
Great food, good table service for drinks
B. 2.
Very nice experience, and kind of like a cute secret place. Recommend to go when in the area.
J. R.
Visit Neals Yard. Beautiful courtyard with some fantastic shops and restaurants.
M. g.
Small Indoor market. International dishes are served. Don't miss the cheese bar!
E. S.
The decor is something special the performance is fun.
Keep in mind you have to order 2 things of the menu min because of it (aka appetizer +main)
M. M.
It's a great place for the young evening crowd. It's was like a twenty-something college party when we were there on a Tuesday night.
J. L.
Great place to grab a quick bite to eat or drinks but it does get very busy and noisy. Dosas were delicious!
C. D.
Brilliant show but seats are cramped, if your over 6 foot you will have bad leg cramps, lovely atmosphere and I won't spoil the ending !
T. J. R.
Lovely shopping and dining precinct in Covent Garden - I recommend Pierre Hermé for a sweet treat while you’re in the area.
L. p.
Nice congregating area with good selection of pubs/coffee shops and restaurants and smaller shops... very interesting
D. P.
Local and walkable with great food, coffee and shopping. Last time I was in London I made the mistake of sticking to the main streets around here and missed the pleasure of what is in between. Don't make NY mistake.
E. W.
Yes used were not to far from this iconic part of London alot of shops there and around as well food clothes technology etc. So try it out..
M. D.
Food court with variety of cuisines. Expensive
C. C.
Beautiful play, very entertaining!
C. L.
Seven Dial was closed to traffic for a mini festival. It was lovely to walk the roads and see people out enjoying the sun
B.
Near Covent Garden you can find the Seven Dial Column, which sits in the middle of a seven street road junction. This is a nice historical monument located in a great area of London to visit.
The Seven Dials Column, which interestingly has only six face dials, is a replica of the original 17th century monument and was only installed in 1989. The original had been removed in 1773, according to the Seven Dials Trust to rid the area of the undesirables which congregated in what had become a run down area of the city.
Today is a different story and the seven dials area is vibrant with restaurants, shops, West End theatre houses and other forms of entertainment. It is a fun area to spend time when visiting London and the monument only requires a few minutes to see.
B. M.
Weather was fabulous and the outdoor tables were convenient as you could sit and relax with a sandwich and a cup of tea.
I. B.
Great fun, plenty of places to eat and drink , and Xmas decorations look great
S. R.
I enjoyed this donut, the filling was lovely and creamy, maybe a bit too thick but that's probably a personal preference. The only thing I would say is the donut itself would've been nicer if it was softer to bite but I'll assume that's because I bought it later in the day
P. B. (.
Love it here, absolutely gorgeous at Christmas.
Some cute shops, plus you are close to the West End, lots of shops, and some unique landmarks.
M. L.
Dainty little bit of London nice place to people watch and have a drink or 2
D. B.
Great area for shopping. Kept clean by the famous Maxvac Vanguard supplied by Addex Group
J. S.
Fantastic atmosphere, very friendly staff. Good food. Great beer. Would recommend.

A. P. K.
Highly recommend this place. Really good quality ice cream. Friendly staff. Nice little place to relax and unwind. And, there are multiple vegan options available at this place should you wish to give it a try 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
G. R.
♿️✅ A few ramps but mostly flat surfaces
Quite a nice spot in London, every season the seven dials really dressed up accordingly. They are especially great to walk though when the Christmas lights are up!
A. L.
Lovely place in the heart of the city, with a multitude of small and big businesses to satisfy all needs. Can get a little confusing, especially at night. It was beautifully decorated over Christmas. Due to its location, be prepared for a fair amount of people, regardless of the time.
K. s. A.
Food for the masses, some people will enjoy watching others eat if you are not this type then give it a miss, too commercial
A. B.
Such a fun place especially on events like fashion feast!!
F. S.
Nice area, feels like the lanes and not quite the big scary London roads.
G. B.
Super iconic place to explore in London. The sundial monument is a really interesting bit of history- notably it only has six dials, as the seventh road wasn’t originally planned.
Once shops reopen, there’s a lot to discover in the area, but right now the place feels a bit dead. That said, Lockdown is a good time to visit, as there’s virtually no traffic around the pillar.
I. C.
Such a lovely place with so many nice shops and great buildings/views. For photographers/influencers, you can find there plenty of nice sports for taking photos
L.
Best pubs in England round this area
M. H.
I really enjoyed wandering around this part of London, love the seven dials Market for a quick bite to eat, the food stalls and O'Neals cheese shop
S.
Lovely atmosphere with alot of food choice. Can get very busy at peak times with not a lot of space however at low peak times It is a great placea to go with friends as there is alot of food choice
a. k.
Beautiful place, especially now in the festive season. Lots of quality shops, restaurants, caffés
M. S.
I would Not Return to M...
This is a difficult one to rate because so much went wrong but the food was fairly good, they didn't skimp on the cocktails. Staff were friendly and polite however we didn't get all that we had paid & when an issue arose the management instantly and unnecessarily became defensive so I have mixed feelings about this venue. My 3 stars are purely for the servers who deserve 5 on their own.
A. H.
Beautiful part of London just north of covent garden. Mainly boutique shops and bars on pedestrianised roads. Just wander and see what you find.
J. S.
Some shops with a most ridiculous food court, in a good way
T. P.
Perfect spot for gift shopping and for a general wander around. The vibe in this area is great!
M. M.
Lovely old pub with history, nice and cosy for a glass or two. Friendly staff
K. L.
Beautiful theatre xx
D. C.
Very fun eclectic shopping experience, a true dichotomy of choice
g.
Lovely little street in Covent Garden, even in the time towards the end of the pandemic. Had a coffee with a friend at the famous Monmouth shop, in the same named street; find here shops selling shoes and clothes, small restaurants, grooming shops. Pedestranised at present, it was lovely to take in a coffee and treat.
M. M.
Amazing atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Amazing food and experience.
R. M.
Great neighborhood lots of small restaurants and shops, people walking.
F. D.
Great little neighborhood and market with lot of indipendent restaurants to try.
A. “. Z.
Seven Dials, Covent Garden’s only village, brings you seven streets of independent boutiques, like Tatty Devine, heritage brands, vintage stores and indulgent beauty and grooming salons, all carefully selected for shoppers of discerning taste.
The Seven Dials village also offers a diverse selection of food and drink establishments, from bustling cafes and bars, to five-star brasseries, independent restaurants and traditional English pubs.
A. B. -. B. P. E.
Very unique place for a shopping centre. Great location.
U. C.
Oh amazing.. I heard this place openes up last Saturday.. And I wanted to check out the new soda shop there so I went with a friend..but the place is amazing.. Great food.. Great atmosphere.. But I guess the only thing I liked bit less was.. It's not a club.. Its a social place where poeple are suppsed to eat and drink and talk but the music was so loud that it's impossible to talk that's why one less star .. I had to eat my food upstairs because I couldn't hear my friend..other than that all good
C. C.

Lots of small shops and cafes in quiet streets, each of the seven roads leading off to other london attractions/streets in easy reach. People congregate at the foot of the monument to chat and drink coffee. Would be my go to place to live near

Lots of shops and food shops to browse and sample. Lovely Christmas lights this year.
S. P.
Beautiful area to visit. Had lunch in Caravan. Very nice. Lots to look at and now thriving.
G. R.
It was very quiet due to the lockdown. Not very many of the shops are open, only the essential ones. So that means very few people and traffic. Ended up going to Monmouth for a great tasting coffee. No line
L. E.
The Seven Dials Market and the Donmar Theatre bring the area to life.
R. T.
Lovely place to explore with loads of small cute shops
C. W.
Lots of places to eat and drink. Quirky market and interesting shops.

Good covid controls , felt safe , good distancing.
Area was slowly getting life pumped back into it, still relatively quiet, understandable.
S. F.
A converging point full of delights London can offer. Worth exploring and spending time here to feel the pulse of a place of gathering with food, theater and shopping.
L. E.
A very enjoyable experience. Definitely will go again.
E. W.
Love it! Very pretty location.
V. C.
Prebooked a table. The area was spacious, you use an app to order your food which came out very quickly! The selection of stalls were great for a group of friends to choose from and was perfect especially with the cold weather inside, its lovely to stay indoors and be warm and enjoy the food. Personal favourite was yum buns!
N.
Great selection of food from different stalls. We had Mexican, Filipino and Japanese. Loved all of them. Bong Bong (Filipino) as usual amazing
S. B.
It was a lovely experience shopping at Seven Dials today. I felt safe as the shops were not too crowded. People on the streets mostly wore masks and hand sanitizers were available almost everywhere. Visit to my favourite clothing store GudrunSjoden was therapeutic and I loved the colourful display. Restaurants did not have any or much queues and were very efficiently managed. The food at Shanghai Modern was extremely commendable.
S. C.
Pretty cool place to walk around and do some shopping
H. S.
Great to walk in the area, have a coffee or drink. Nice London landmark
R. D.
One dial too many for my liking, but otherwise ok.

One of the most beautiful parts of London full of independent store that radiate character. Boutique clothes stores, cute cafes and healthcare stores litter the streets. A must visit destination
C. T.
Beautiful at Christmas Time and great restaurants, pubs and boutique shops.
t.
Seven Dials is a small road junction in Covent Garden in the West End of London where seven streets converge. The original layout of the area was designed by Thomas Neale in the early 1690s.
By the 19th century, it was among the most notorious slums in London.
Today Seven Dials is a prosperous, largely commercial neighbourhood between the West End theatre district of Shaftesbury Avenue and the fashionable shopping district around nearby Neal's Yard.
T. J.
If you like Leicester Square, then you "get it". I hated it and couldn't wait to leave......
C. K.
Excellent hotel. Outstanding staff. Delicious breakfast. Very central for visitors to Covent Garden area.

J. K.
Always something going on. Pleasant bars and restaurants and boutique shops.
C.
They did a v good job despite tier 2 lockdown restrictions. It felt safe. They spaced everyone out and all food and drinks were table service only. The food itself was delicious, also great beer on tap. I look forward to going back when restrictions ease again. My only negative is that the music was v loud so hard to hear each other speak.
M. A.
Amazing place. So much to do & see. Superb
A. B.
Love walking around London and being a tourist for the day in my home town...also love history so came and see for yourself.
A. L.
A mini roundabout where seven roads meet. So many cool shops, restaurants and coffee shops are in this area.
D. S.
Great work space and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had!
M. H.
A very brightly lit and vibrant food court in the heart of London. Serving Tacos, truffle burgers, pasta and chicken wings to name a few.
They've adapted their food service to be table service by using an app the allows you to order from any of the vendors.
While extremely popular during lunchtime, they have a virtual queue you can sign up on, so you can be notified when your table is available.
R. T.
Great place to hang out, walk around and shop
S. I.
Great area with many shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Some of the places can be a bit expensive, but there are also definitely some hidden gems. I would definitely recommend going to their annual events, as they are very entertaining!

A nice food court though the music is a bit too loud for us old guys.
C. S.
This should be one of the busiest areas in London. Tonight there's one bloke sitting on the plynth. That's lockdown for you.
C. O.
Nice venue with lovely sitting areas which are usually rare for street food markets. 3 stars because food portions are small relative to the price.

Very beautiful decoration all over the streets.

I wish there were more dining experiences like this. You don't get this much variety and high quality options in traditional restaurants.
We tried a little from every stand and left berry happy with our stay.
Also worth noting this place handles COVID dining very well.
L. G.
It was great place for a Xmas photos
If you want to see more go to luisgomes.uk

Really a nice walk down the seven dials alley. Some really nice and interesting shops all along the way. There is something for everyone, so take the time to really enjoy this walk. The lights used to decorate the street was different. Safe environment with lots of people. Really great walk. Some good souvenir shops with really reasonable prices. Purchased some nostalgic pieces including a good looking chess set.

There are plenty of boutique shops to visit, and the place has a great feel. Well worth spending a bit of time; despite being very near the busier parts of London, this feels slightly off the beaten track and a little more relaxed.

Nice area to go for a meal or a drink with a lot of entertainment possibilities
S. T.
One of my favourite Brewdog bars. Lots of space over 3 levels. Staff are well knowledgeable and friendly, beers are great and the food is yummy. They do table service too!
If you're in the West End area, pop in for a beer or 3.
B. S.
Little food court with nice music, and big seating area outside as well
J. U. (.
Seven Dials is a seven day shopping and leisure destination offering an unparalleled experience on the door-step of the West End but far removed from the mayhem of the high street.
For the history of the area visit sevendials. com website.

Some amazing restaurants and cafes and shops, all leading to a central point, worth a mooch

Great place good food. Polite staff. Must visit. Cocktails are unfortunately quite basic and not great.

I love this place! Although the food and drinks are on the pricey end, the seating area, the staff, the menu and the atmosphere is great - worth every penny.
It makes a perfect casual study spot in the city centre but also a great place to have a coffee with a friend or read a book. There's a very hip and casual vibe in this café.
My favourite feature about this place is that every seat is almost unique. You can have a more reserved place to sit on your own, you can share a table with strangers or you can bring friends along and grab a sofa.
It's a great place to just sit down and relax over a coffee or a light lunch. The only thing I'd say is that big groups might struggle to get a seat.
I love coming here and I will continue to do so.

Busy set over a couple of floors . Great beer but no Elvis Juice 😪

Great little spot in Central London to converge on and have coffee. Walk to the centre and watch the cars spin round and round.

Awesome place! Absolutely loved it! You must go if you are visiting London. Definitely one of the top places to see in Covent Garden. Many food options inside, and a great place to walk around with friends.

Really nice area with nice shops, coffee shops and restaurants: I always find some new corner to explore

Love it here. Neal's Yard is fantastic to spend an afternoon. Lovely wine bar, great bakery, even got my nails and hair done. Lovely chilled atmosphere. A lovely haven in the middle if the city yet feels like a world away!

Nice Christmas decorations,

Great venue for a snack or meal. There are various places to eat from and something to appease all tastes. Music can be a bit loud but this varies depending on time of day. I went on a weeknight and managed to find seats and had some great good. Prices are high, but it is central London and was food quality.

Very nice spot in a nice part of London. Clean and tidy and the different roads leading to and from it have a variety of nice shops, eateries and pubs.
A good place to meet as the options to go on are plentiful. Theatres, restaurants close by and the place has a nice "feel" to it. Plenty of people taking "selfies" and the place is certainly photogenic.

First class service, attention to detail great menu and food, highly professional staff

Great friendly pub, good atmosphere plus pizzas, beer and garden rooms, what's not to like.

Great places to eat out or have a drink

There is a large number of shops, cafes, and bars in this area. The area itself is nice but nothing for tourists unless you're looking to shop for something specific or know of a particular place to eat at. Nice for a quick detour if you're in the area but not worth making its own trip for.

Highly recommended. Fantastic atmosphere, kind helpful staff, great choice of food. Really enjoyed the experience.

One of my favourite areas in London - lots of shops, pubs and cafes. Neals Yard is great for food.

Lovely & buzzy, not as busy as pre Covid but getting there...cheerful gem of a place 😃 ❤

Thus is a quirky place to visit, the cross roads to Soho, Covent garden, Leicester Square and generally central London.
Lots of shops, market, theatre venues, cafes, restaurants and places of intrigue within walking distance. Also good meeting point.

The Banksy exhibition was great.

Be very careful if you're not familiar, or if you're a visiting tourist, especially when it dark . The traffic comes from every which way and although its slow moving you could easily get caught in the headlights like a rabbit. Otherwise a lively area with a lot of buzz about it.

Cozy place lots of coffee shops

I like this corner of London. It's simply a place where six roads meet. But it has a nice atmosphere, specially during Christmas when all is lit. I would not go in purpose to visit it, but a place to pass by if you are around.

It's a crossroads of seven streets. There's an interesting landmark in the middle and that's it. I wouldn't spend more than a few moments here if you were sightseeing. In the summer it tends to attract a few loiterers which I've no idea why.
Incidentally, if you like coffee, there's a Monmouth cafe down one of the 7 streets which I'd recommend picking up a coffee from.

Amazing place to visit while in London

Great space, great food offer, very pleasant vibe. The food in general is bit expensive for “street food” although quality is top notch. Seating downstairs can be limited.
Bar prices are over the top though - 2/3 of pint costs as full pint in a pub.
Shops along Cucumber alley (covered passage through building) offer some great artisan foodstuff.

Nice little cluster of shops and restaurants smack in the middle.of town. If you really want to explore the entire place, you will need an entire day even though it isn't that big. The variety of shops and eateries is fantastic.

Absolutely love this area and im there quite often because there's lots to do, but the only downside is the amount of tourists who want to visit.
You should definitely consider visiting Pierre Herme whilst in the area. One of the best bakeries in the world.
