I love this beautiful pedestrian lane just off Oxford street. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. It's easy to miss so keep your eyes open so as to not miss this little gem.
E. S. P.
A wonderful area of Central London where you'll enjoy shopping or catching up with friends around a warm drink ☕. During the Christmas season, the area is stunning and you'll find lots of picture-perfect spots! Visit when around the area!
M. A.
Fabulous cornner the place full with great vibs and energy from morning till late nice cafes and restaurants to chill out
d. p.
Plenty of eating and drinking places here away from the congested high street shopping experience. Pleasant outside seating areas make this a relaxing change.
n. p.
Love this place. You can spot it from across the road with those sparkling disco balls which look gorgeous at night.
A. J.
Brilliant square with a lot of eateries, a stone's throw from Oxford Street. Great for outdoor eating and people watching. Beautifully decorated during Christmas season.
H. J.
Beautiful food and very friendly staff. I had sea bass which was perfectly cooked and the whole dish had lovely flavour.

St. Christopher's Place is an oddly located open air shopping area just off Oxford street. If I hadn't seen St. Christopher's Place on Tripadvisor, I would not know it was here as the entrance from Oxford Street is easy to miss. St. Christopher's Place feels a bit more trendy and upmarket than this part of highly touristy Oxford Street. It does have more boutique shops than on Oxford Street. Although, it's mostly chain restaurants for food.
T. W.
Interesting street I stumbled after. I was looking for Workshop Coffee. There are many nice shops in this streets and nice cafes. Mulberry is here too.
A. D.
It is a little lovely square next to Oxford street.
You get there via a narrow passage way between the shops...I simply love it!
There is plenty of cafes and restaurants, you can sit outside and the atmosphere is great!
It’s a must see!
N. J.
Nice drinks. One of my favourite places to come to in London. Christmas decorations great.
D. S.
Lively, great atmosphere even without many overseas tourists.A great Italian restaurant, lovely pizza and risotto and great service, more authentic than the pi*** expre** chain which are also here.
A. G.
Nice place behind Oxford St. Lots of places to eat. Chains and indies. Retailers are wearing thin after the effects of covid in the high street.
A. A.
A street lined with good restaurants that you must try when in London. Whether it was Pret-a-manger for breakfast or Flat for steak or even delicious burgers at
M. M.
A lovely eclectic collection of cafés, restaurants and boutique shops just off the main Oxford Street, close to Selfridges, Debenhams and John Lewis department stores.
There is a Carluccios, Cote de Brasserie, Pizza Express, a Thai place, Patty and Bun which always has queues out of the door.
Great way to unwind after a busy day shopping.
L. A.
What a great little hide away off the main shopping high street. Wonderful choice of places to eat.

Nice to get off Oxford Street and find a great little area to eat and drink.
M. B.
Shopping area with a small open air plaza just off Oxford Street. I expected it to be a shopping centre but really it was a collection of shops next to each other on 3 streets. Shops were nice little boutique places that you wouldn't find elsewhere. Cool place to hang out away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.
S. F.
Nice place, with lots of varied restaurants, nice cafes and shops

A wonderful place to shop and dine. Full of a wide range of restaurants catering to every need whether it be vegetarian, Italian, Steak, Asian or Sri Lankan. From popular chains to hip independents, there is everything here. In terms of the shopping experience that is equally broad with the likes of Astrid & Miyu with their beautiful yet affordable jewellery. British staples from Christy's, Luxury Teas from Jing Teas and stylish but classic bags from Mulberry. This area truly is London's hidden gem and the perfect place to take a breather from the mayhem of Oxford Street.

Had a wonderful day, spa treatments exceptional. Dinner was scrumptious, service 1st class. Facilities were fantastic.
S.
It's nice for open air dining, most of the restaurants are covered in case of rain and cold, it does get quite busy though.
C. R.
A charming, well hidden side lane in the middle of Oxford Street. You WILL miss it if you don't know where it is. Plenty of shops and eateries.
D. H.
Great place in this part of London to have a meal, variety and diversity are the watch words.
M. B.
One of my favourite places in London. After the hustle and bustle of Oxford street, with only a few steps you enter something totally different. There are some great shops, as well as superb places to wine and dine. Even if you only fancy a leisurely stroll St Christopher's Place is definitely worth a visit.
E. M.
Lovely place. Variety of restaurants
R. L.
Right opposite Selfridges offering multiple, store and mainly restaurants with a few pubs thrown in. Most places are offer outdoor seating and in normal times it gets busy. Great place to visit before of after a trip to the infamous Selfridges.
D. W.
Love this tucked away corner of London great place for food and drinks.
W. H.
Great for foodies
G. M.
Visited the place for lunch with my friend. We were delighted by South-Indian style main course with species and lots of flavors, extremely impressive for a vegetarian restaurant.
The service was above average, but the French fries were too unpalatable to finish.
When we arrived at 4:20, we’d to wait for 10 minutes while they prepared the table. We didn’t make any reservation, but the restaurant was only half full. There was no good reason to make us wait.
We ordered French fries as a side dish. They looked tasty. But, when we tasted them, they were undercooked and had an excess of oil. We left most of them. For $15, it was not at all worthy.
When the waiter visited our table and asked if something wrong, we said we didn’t like the French fries. He was apologetic and said, “We’re sorry for your experience with the French fries, hope you liked the main course”. We nodded in yes. He was very thoughtful and so does, rest of the staff members. We even received a discount on the price of French fries.
C. R.
Nice place to go off just off Oxford St., for a meal and a drink. Quiet at the moment (at Lunchtime) as there's few tourists.
A. R.
Great social area with previous of restaurants to chose from.
S. D. J.
It's a beautiful little corner with mediocre eateries.
A. S.
Nice shops and restaurants clean streets, feels safe.
E. B.
It felt like a cafe culture area before lockdown but its even better now
C. S.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food (starters, main dishes and desserts).
E. R.
Very nice be great in the summer ☀️
A. B.
Great and quiet square off the beaten track. Some terrific restaurants and pubs here, along with small boutique shops. Christmastime is especially worth a visit for the decorations and badly needed refreshments after the crowds of oxford street.
M. G.
Excellent coffee off of Oxford Street, 10min away from Oxford Circus tube. Really nice vibe and nice cakes, too. Very nice staff. Great to pop by for a quick pick me up behind Selfridges or even have a more informal meeting in central London.
T. W.
I love St Christopher's place it is the ideal eating and drinking spot just off Oxford Street.
There are Cafes and restaurants galore here. Something for everyone and all price ranges.
The street is decorated all year round with decorations, plants and flowers. Especially lovely over the Christmas period.
Lots of outdoor seating and all with heaters.
Perfect for catching up with friends or relaxing during a busy shopping spree!
A. S.
Wonderful little corner hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Bond Street. Highly recommended for great eateries.
D. L.
Found it by accident whilst walking around. Lots of places to eat and drink, we were actually a bit disappointed in ourselves that we had just eaten elsewhere and were not hungry enough to try some of the local places. Nice quiet spot away from the chaos of Oxford Street. We did find the coffee shops were good for takeaway but not the best size if you needed to sit in to do some reading or studying.
A. M.
Great traffic free - pedestrian only area for people watching 😁
C. M.
Great and quiet square off the beaten track. Some terrific restaurants and pubs here, along with small boutique shops. Christmastime is especially worth a visit for the decorations and badly needed refreshments after the crowds of oxford street.

k. m.
Ideal lunch location when shopping in London's Oxford Street. Nice choice small independent restaurants and coffee shops.
S. V.
Beautiful, peaceful place. Could be touristy and very busy, but has nice shops, roads, walking streets and restaurants.
P. G.
Great area plenty of choices for a me
C. T.
Maternity leave of a coworker cheeky lunch and laughter
N. S.
It's not actually a single place as such, but a lovely collection of shops & eateries.
It's a quick hop off the beaten track of Oxford Street.
It's well worth the detour, most of the best bits of London are off the beaten track.
You'll find a place to get a tea or coffee, various decent (chain) restaurants & a collection of independent, plus chain clothes shops.
You'll find it either down a quirky side alley on Oxford Street, or off one of the more obvious side streets.
F. T. R. M.
Long a Londoner’s favourite, located a stone’s throw from Oxford Street and adjacent to London’s iconic department store Selfridges, St Christopher’s Place is a social hub offering everything from morning coffee stops and outdoor all-day dining to high street heroes and independent brands.
For the next few months and just in time for the end of the summer sun, shoppers and food lovers alike will be treated to an enhanced Al Fresco dining experience with James Street being traffic-free every day from 11am until 11pm – giving you more room to enjoy great food with friends.
From burgers to stone baked pizzas, ramen to Mediterranean mezze, dim sum to Danish pastries, there’s a whole host of incredible menus from all over the world to choose from, all in one place.
So, discover a taste of something great, every day. Inside or outside. Breakfast, lunch or dinner.
M. S.
If St Christopher was here he would come to this place especially @yamabahce
E. E.
I love this place! A small piazza hidden away behind Oxford Street with a distinct continental feel, lots of restaurants offering something for all tastes and wallets, interesting small shops and... probably... the prettiest public toilets in London!
m. a.
Very good selection of shops and restaurants, well positioned on the way to Marylebone High St
G. B.
Restaurants and high end fashion abounds. As do pickpockets, just be careful. Nice ambience to this enclosed alley. If the landlord had an once of sense they'd put a glass roof on it. Make it dry and warmer.
M. C.
lovely area with lots of restaurants, a lot of them with outside seating, feels like your entering a different place, the two streets there feel like your abroad, has a very cosy feel.
must check it out!
A. Ø. U.
Cosy area with mix of chains and independents
A. B.
It is always a great place when you are in doubt of what to eat or drink as the choices are very good. And I just found out there is a Harry's Bar opening soon there, which will make the list of choices even better. Call me stupid, but after decades of getting in through the small opening on Oxford Street, I still have the same feeling of discovering a new place. Love it!
T. W.
Plethora of vibrant restaurants to enjoy of an evening.
T. K.
Very good place for lunch or dinner. Lots of good restaurants in one place.
S. M.
Conveniently located just off Oxford Street and near to Selfridges. Lots of good options for food and drinks as well as a few decent shops for gift purchases. Has a small square which is good convivial spot for meeting and hanging out to catch up with friends.

A very nice, but small bit of greenery just off Oxford Street.
Quite quiet and lots of seating.
It's very close to the big John Lewis store opposite, and is quite lovely during the summer months.
A. Z.
Good selection of restaurants and a decent number of stores. So you can pick up pretty much anything! Staff tend to be accommodating, albeit slightly rushed. exceptionally nice at weekend!
M. G.
Really nice pedestrian-only open-air square. For some reason it isn't packed at lunchtime(?!), very easy to find a relaxed place to eat. Can't hear any traffic.
V. B.
Great place for Christmas gifts and clothes shops, jewellery shops, shoes and gents clothing

Instead of travelling all over Oxford Street. One can find everything here. All your Christmas shopping in one place. BLISS.

Great little spot for something to eat & some cool little shops. At Christopher's place is tucked between Oxford Street, Wigmore At and James at, in central London. There's a pub, Cote, Carluchios, Pret and a couple of other restaurants. Perfect for a sit down after a hard day shopping.

Have lots of choices. You pass through a narrow passage with lots of quaint shops. Lovely Christmas lights if you go at Christmas time. St Christopher place is very unique and buzzing. A great spot after shopping on Oxford Street.

This place used to be dark and dingy and I think they're trying to improve it but... It's small and pokey. Good range of fast food but lack of seating is a problem. Full of students eating McDonald's and sitting all over the floor.
D. I.

This is a lovely little square full of nice and affordable restaurants, coffee bars (and boutiques) with heated terraces. Just 1 minute away from the madness of Oxford st.. a small oasis. My fave is Carluccio's where you csn stop for lunch, dinner or just a drink or coffee. The food is excellent and the customer service is fantastic. They are particularly nice and patient with kids. 😊☺😊
F. F. R.
Great place with cool vibes!
W. R.
Hidden away from bustling Oxford Street. Nice area to hang out after work and do a spot of grazing at the numerous eateries. Can get busy summer evenings..
P. M.
A lively alleyway and piazza off of oxford street with chain restaurants and cafes that fill up with well heeled tourists who spent too much at selfridges and are now eating Nandos (which is still delicious). Incredible people watching especially in the evening.
J. O.

Hidden away from business of Oxford Circus, coming to this place feels like you're discovering a secret location in London! Marked by the overhead hanging giant balls. the passageway that leads into the square is dotted with a few shops. Inside the square, there is a delightful water fountain, and surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. It really is a nice slice of hidden London Life!
M. G.
Very cute corner in central London where you can find a few shops and restaurants for any need. An ideal place to chill and take a short break during your shopping, get a coffee and sit on the lovely bench outside.

Great place to eat or shop with a wide range of cafes, restaurants and unusual shops. Usually quite quiet when I've visited, links Oxford Street and Wigmore Street and has always been clean and well presented when I've visited.
S. Y.
Lovely square for alfresco dining. Vibrant atmosphere on a summers evening. I always swing through for coffee at least. Nearby James street also offers some excellent dining.
S. P.
Nice little area to have something to eat - a stone's throw from Oxford Street, Selfridges and Bond Street tube station. Good selection of restaurants including Carluccios and the excellent Olivelli
S. K.
Great staff, friendly and good coffee + food. However, music far too noisy. Impossible to read, not a great atmosphere. It made me feel unwelcome, meaning buy your coffee and go out.
S. B.
Lovely independent shops.
S. B.
If you are at the top end of Oxford Street near Selfridge's you should pop here for lunch or a drink. Just one block off Oxford Street this area has loads of restaurants many with outside tables. You can choose from Carluccios to Pizza Express and Middle Eastern restaurants to Pret. Nice atmosphere .

Had a fantastic Vegan brunch at Carluccio's! Food and staff were wonderful and very welcoming. A must go eating destination.
C. R.
Just use it as a short cut from Bond St tube to George Street. There was a very famous pub on the northern corner, called The Pontefract Castle, now redeveloped as a fashion store after being knocked down. There are several places to eat.
S. B.
Some really nice shops and a great feeling here! Feels pretty special and a great way to get a bit of peace and quiet just off Oxford Street!

Very busy. Too many people
A. A.
Probably best touristy place all over London. Too many cafes, Resturants, bars and Asian food. I go there for the atmosphere more than the Food.
S. W.
Love this place. Shame everything is shut because of Covid. Can't wait everything to re-open X
h. f.
NHS menu bit intimidating.
E. S.
Little gem of a place - you almost need to be shown to know it is there. Getting coffee is a challenge on Oxford Street and here is a little hidden space with food and drink galore.
B. N.
St. Christopher's Place is a short pedestrianised shopping street in Marylebone, central London between Oxford Street and Wigmore Street. Its retail units are smaller and higher-end than the major chains located on Oxford Street, similar to nearby South Molton Street.
k. k.
Fantastic place to have a munch before a wonder in selfridges. Great food choices. Patty & Bun is a must for a great burger.
S. C.
Really Nice surroundings.
Went into Pret to get some vegetarian sandwiches, unfortunately there were none there. Did find something else to eat.
M. D.
Quaint environment with lots of great shops and restaurants. Easy to miss if you're trying to find the entrance from Oxford. Adds to the charm.
A. L.
The shops change intermittently here but it's away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford St which is always heaving. This is a quiet respite with boutiques and a greasy number of slightly cheesy eateries both independent and chains.
C. B.
Never as busy as Oxford St., despite the proximity. Great selection of outdoor eateries & coffeeshops, and a delightful pub on the corner with St. James' Pl.
L. S.
My favourite place to relax and have a lunch or just coffee when the crowds of Oxford Street become too much . My place of choice is on a good day is sitting outside and people watching

A cosy London piazza ..with boutiques, artisanal coffee and ice-cream shops where you can linger till late and feel a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern vibe with shisha bars and great food
Y. H.
Nice little corner in a busy area.
s. m.
Too touristy, used to have good independent shops, now mostly chains. Very pretty square in summer.
V. M.
Very scenic place to walk & shop too. Wide range of products available, a bit upscale but worth if you select the right product
J. M.
I enjoy eating in Cote. I especially like the chocolate mousse for desert. However, it is firmer, and thus better, in their restaurant in St Martin's Lane.
H. A.
