The arcade is very clean. There are some interesting shops in it. I am very impressed with little Street upstairs. My grand child lives it.Occasionally they have a craft Market.

Good Clean Spacious Arcade of Shops, Large Coffee located in the middle of the centre expanding upstairs where there's public restrooms/toilets and also a few extra shop (often vacant). Two entrances one of perfectly located in the middle of the and another halfway along the market buildings. Often upmarket shops. However often empty shop units, bussneses never resident for long.

Small but lovely. Not many shops anymore, containing a good independent health food shop, a bridal shop, a top end designer clothes shop and a very pleasant coffee shop with some seating under a glass atrium area. No shops upstairs any more. A shame. It is still worth a look as its very quaint.

I like wandering through here. It recently had a bit of a makeover; it's a lovely light & airy place to rest & enjoy a coffee/lunch from the shop inside. Great health food store here too....along with other good small shops to call in to. There are also public toilets in the Arcade (with lift access for those who wish to use it) which is worth noting as public facilities are few & far between around the town itself.

The Royal Star Shopping centre in Maidstone town centre is tucked away . Some beautiful shops there . An Air of tranquility away from the hassle and bustle. The bridal shop offers you ready to wear bridal gowns some of them very pretty indeed.

The best place ever! My son wanted to visit the princesses. Obviously not many boy do but they made him feel so very welcome and he loved it as did I. Food was lovely especially the cupcakes. Really beautiful little place with very friendly welcoming staff

There's a nice selection of shops, (furniture, health shop, designer clothes shop, Demelza charity shop, computer games shop etc) and a good café. It's all under cover also so is a great refuge in bad weather! Toilets on upper floor are in good order and regularly checked .

Lovely selection of stores such as the grinning demon comic store, ice cream store, health food, records and many more. Also a good selection of cafes to sit and chat with friends. Beautiful statue of a horse head in the centre of the Royal Star. Totally recommended

The Royal Star Arcade is a Unique Experience. With Shops Such as Salamanders which is a New age Retailer specializing in Everything related to A Spiritual New age Experience. The choice of goods are unimaginable. They Cater for Everything. From Unique Jewellery, precious Stones, Incense, everything from the East and Thailand. This is really an Amazing Shopping Experience. Not to be Missed.

Went to visit Kent Trichology Clinic to have a consultation about my ever decreasing hair! The Proprietor, Mrs Smitherman was very welcoming and immediately put me at my ease. I was seen in a comfortable private consultation room, and I have now commenced a course of treatment. Maidstone needs specialist businesses such as this, and the Royal Star Arcade is the perfect place to afford privacy and discretion as it is placed near the High Street but does not suffer from the public exposure that comes with being on the High Street. I love the eclectic mix of businesses which bring a range of specialisms to Maidstone. I am greatly looking forward to tackling the challenges of The Escape Hub about which most of Maidstone is currently raving about as a wonderful experience. Please support the businesses in the Royal Star Arcade, and if you want exceptional service regarding your hair or scalp disorder, then I can only recommend Kent Trichology Clinic and The Hair Collection, as the best place to start!
