Reviews of Brunel Shopping Centre
Nice little shoping mall only a handfull of shops mainly cheapy shops too. They have a farm food, shoe zone, select, boots, whsmiths, super drugs, pound land, card shop, jewellery shop and a cex
A good variety of shops - boots, Wilko, Poundland, savers, farm foods etc
Good and helpful service ,although I keep on having problems with my bonus stamps, rang up customer services o 4 occasions, still not sorted yet .
Good parking facilities with NCP, used app very simple. Lots of shopping experience
Getting less & less shops in there now, it’s sad to see so many closing
Has a good choice of shops although not too many but well worth a visit
Went there for 1 reason, selection of shops, got what I wanted
Decent selection of shops (WH Smith, Bon Marche, Poundland etc) with parking. Wilko is opposite to the shopping centre.
Tidy, small local centre. Has a boots, smiths, farmfoods, opticians, jewellers and a few others
Other than Homebargains the best bit about Bletchley town
Sorry to say this but I've been going to this place on and off most my life and all thats happened is its gotten slower and more run down it needs money spend and investment simple as that and it could be good place to go .
Visited shoe shop there for first time in a while because of covid and I'm impressed with the staff and how they went out of their way to help. The centre needs updating and hope it gets it. Farmlands are good and friendly and helpful. Both covid secure. Will be going back
Poor shopping centre with shops closing down regularly and not being reopened with new businesses.
Still some good shops even now some shops have closed give it a visit
Pleasant experience though some shops have closed. Have been in just about all shops there and found all useful and helpful. Work going on to floor at the moment but didn't inconvenience.
It was shut from the carkpark end had to walk around this was due to a breaking. Otherwise shop are OK for everyday needs
A bit disappointed with some shops empty.
Lovely little shopping centre with a nice variety of stores. Perfectly placed at the end of high street with a lots of shops nearby.
Pretty much a shell of its former self. Most of the stores are closed, and the ones that are left leave a lot to be desired. Shame really.
Great place unfortunately some of shops have gone or are going
UP DATE: The flooring has been changed. So no barriers.
Lots of barriers stopping access to damaged flooring in place which makes using the one way system difficult. Its clean and well lit.
The brunel is very quite since covid.. Was easy to get to the shops I wanted as not many people about..
This is a small mall. Its not aging well but given its proximity to m k centre is still serving a purpose for those who just want a few bits and pieces.
A good mix of shops for a small centre. Farm foods here plus WH Smith. Card shop, boots and clothes shop. Paid parking near
Very cheap car parking and this place offers a wide range of great competitive retailers to choose from. I do however feel that this place needs a bit of a upgrade refurbishment as these some patchy parts that has had local stores closed and remains to let. Recommend
Not mind blowing. Too bad it has no toilet facilities. At least the venue is clean. Parking is not free either, don’t forget to pay or £3.00 turns into £850, 18 months later 🙄
I enjoyed the visit will go again
Lovely small shopping centre situated in the heart of Bletchley and just by the town centre and main bus stop. It houses Boots pharmacy and opticians, Holland & Barret, WHSmith, Santander, the Card Factory and several other shoes, clothing, jewelry and grocery stores. It's also very close to Sainsbury's and a hair salon. Ideal shopping area.
Health and safety measures have been put in place.
Some construction work is going on inside. Some shops are closed. Paid car park here, paid when you leave, not expensive. Poundland and Wilko are opened.
Well what can I say it don’t even have much shops in the centre it’s boring, dirty
Looks great after a lick of paint, bright and cheerful!
A few shops inside and out, boots and whsmith, with clothes shops, shoe shop, great eyebrow thread place too!
Not bad shopping centre for odd bits.
But Cafe....Well don't get why we couldn't get 2 Sandwiches at 3-15 Sat just gone...Only what was left in from cabinet. Sausage roll or cake...NO.... we wanted Coffee and something fresh a Sandwich is too much to ask. Said was because there closing... what at 3-15pm on a Saturday
To be honest I've been in there just for some shops...buit in general seems well organized and clean
Went into wilko for some bits, still a nice shop, but as a older man, this is only a small thing which I didn't like was, as entering, I don't like being pointed at, and pointing which way to go, a open hand gesture would be a nicer, yes i get its the times we are all going through, but that's just me,
It’s clean with some actual useful shops as well as some female fashion outlets, so it’s a frequently used centre. There’s a few ‘pop up’ stalls in the centre too for things you can’t find elsewhere in the town. It’s far from anything special and there’s no toilets, but it serves the purpose fine!
Sainsbury's has gone, so only got the few shops left inside. Unfortunately can see it dying off if a supermarket doesn't replace it soon
It's a nice clean shopping centre containing some 20 or so different types of shops and establishments. Most are well known from Santander and F Hines to local businesses. It's undercover so no problem with the weather. It's also surrounded by larger retailers like Wilkinson's and Sainsbury.
I entered the centre from Sainsbury's car park and didn't get as far as the other end but I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. There's a Santander branch so I could pay in a cheque and I discovered a branch of Farmfoods. The arcade was clean and tidy and the shop displays inviting. It offers a good range of services and a good variety of cheaper priced shops in a pleasant environment.
Great place but still needs some TLC to the building but nice to know it is close by especially with a Poundland been there as well
It's quicker to cut through the Brunel centre if you're going to Poundland or Sainsbury's (Bletchley Sainsbury's store closing in January) if you're disabled BUT unfortunately the seating has been removed so if it's raining and you need to sit down due to health/disabilities then we've got to put up with the rain!!!
I've not had a bad experience in the shops I use in there. They have a lovely coffee shop name dulcies good fresh food hot meals or snacks all cooked and served with a smile wheelchair friendly problem is there are no toilets that's the only issue I have as there are no public toilets near or around there
Would not say I loved it but it is convenient has the shops I need , and dry in wet and cold weather
Its a small shopping centre but has a fairly decent range of shops. And the new floor looks great
Unable to pay parking fee.? What's next.
Small clean shopping area basic choice of shops, serves its purpose well, can be very busy you can never tell with Bletchley when the best day is to visit, you have a chemist, supermarket, rental store, card shop, health shop, frozen food, jewellers, optician, newsagents and various cheap shops, ladies clothing, and a cafe don't ask for hit water mind with your pot of tea mind as it's a no no, I don't take milk and like my tea weak, so request small milk jug hot water told no as they don't offer that service shame as rest of the service is good and food not bad, can be very busy or totally empty, have noticed its a regular visiting place for some locals see the same faces so they must like it. Always looking for staff
I come to this place for three things. The fantastic value at card factory, the great quality at Shoezone and my brewing beer at wilco. I like it because I don't get bothered, it's not too busy, and I can get what I want.
Don't judge a book by it's cover, a phrase that perhaps sums up this small shopping centre. I usually end up visiting the Brunel whenever in Bletchley, and from the outside it looks, well, awful to be honest with it's black glass panels, all very outdated (A quick fix solution would be to vinyl wrap these panels or clad over ...please!). However, once inside it's not too bad, and being naturally lit via a glass roof, feels more spacious than it is. Again, I'd have to say rather outdated with it's 80s angular protrusions, and certainly do with some plants around to capitalise on it's outdoors, indoors feel.
That said, what's more important is the variety of shops, and whilst the selection could be better, mostly based around a certain demographic lets say, at least all the units appear to be open for business, a rare thing these days.
Briefly, the main shops are: Card Factory, Shoe Zone, Poundland, Brighthouse, Savers, Farmfoods, WH Smith, Boots, and a few others, including a jewellers, ladies clothes store, and a cafe. Just outside at the High St end is a very good Wilko, the other, CEX, and Sainsburys.
You'd hardly call this place an exciting or modern shopping experience, but it's well worth a visit if in town, and could easily be facelifted.
Parking: We always manage to find a parking space in the free car park at the opposite end of the town behind the library.
It's got almost everything you need, from good quality clothes, to some fine jewellery, well priced footwear to a nice choice of cards for any occasion, and it also has a sainsbury at one end and wilkos on the other, u can't go far wrong when all that is based just at one end of the town high Street.
Looks dated, not much variety of shops
The poundland is a good stuff you can get good stuff from black cars cleaning any stuff
Full of different things. The suit tailors are lovely people very worth it and you can get your haircut have a coffee and a tattoo all on one go. Good placr
Been going here since the 70s..! Yes the 70s 😁. Used to have a tunnel to the train station.. 🤔
Car park: Pay on exit at machines before going to your car. Machines take cash only and don't give change. No other form of payment as far as I could see. ("Our mission is to make you as unwelcome as possible. Because we recognise that the high street is dying.")
Not all the shops open on a Sunday. From Monday to Saturday there is Boots WH Smith Poundland Savers a jewellers Card Factory Farm Foods and a shoe shop. Its a small shopping area undercover and it also has a small but good cafe.
Been in existence quite a time, and hasn't really changed much, so I think a makeover is needed not so much paint job but a few upmarket shops wouldn't go amiss
So sad its losing the shops
Great shame that Boots is closing in April, following the closing of Sainsbury
Ha. Its number one in my heart as being the worst place for shopping. Ever. It's worth the visit just to get scared for life
Boots, WHsmith, Jewellers, CEX game shop, farmFoods, couple of female clothes shops, Specsavers, Poundland, Holland and Barratt, Savers, card shop, and a cafe.
A small shopping center with lots of different stores. Boots W H Smith ,dress shops furniture shops frozen foods ,SA.a card shop and a lovey little tea/ snack cafe. Clean and bright...just no loo!
Lock down and there were very few people about. Most of the shops were closed except the essential ones authorised to be open.
Amazing little shopping place but they need some more shops and it need a bit of a revamp to make it more exiting and make it more enjoyable.
A relatively small presinct but well kept and tidy.
Main high street name's, WHSmiths, Boots & HM Samuel's and a few indipendent shops providing a personal service and even a good quality restaurant/cafe.
Handy if you don't want to visit Milton Keynes shopping centre. Can pick up most things from Brunel and it's shops situated on it's door step. Quit a nice little range of useful shops worth an hour or two browsing.
Hands Face Space. A nice selection of an array of shops to pick up essential items.
It's ok but don't expect any or the more up market shops. First thing I noticed was the smell of greasy cooking. Could only have come from the cafe in the centre of the mall
This was my first visit and I enjoyed it. Shop local
Good shops and easy to find out foods and clothes
Love this place, I come here every week to get thing I need for the house, has a poundland, farmfoods, boots, savers, whsmith, shoezone, card factory, bon marché, brighthouse, eyebrow Place, Holland and barret and a wilko outside the center! So everything you need you can get it in here!
Very quiet on a Sunday. Good choice of shops.
If you are travelling through Bletchley and need a shop at Sainsburys or to get some clothes come down to the Brunnel Centre where you can kick some butt at the TOTAL DOJO
Lessons. And with a C.E.X game store and complete with 22 fully amazing stores
This centre is tired and needs updating and needs more shops!
Good, got some coffee and food, not too expensive and quite nice. Didn't think too much of the stealth parking charges.
Like the range and quality of shops. Poundland. Farm foods. WH Smith. Select. Savers. Wilko. Some of the stores can't be found elsewhere locally
A good range of shops under one roof. Very handy to get out of the cold! Was just window shopping this time.
A bit dated but functional must say though not impressed with the cafe... Waited almost half an hour for a cheese toastie and a sausage sandwich both of which were very disappointing will Not be returning!!!
Shops ok but needs an overhaul now even sainsburys has gone
I enjoy shopping in the Brunel Centre. I appreciate it can stop and rest when needed because of seats provided. I good day little cafeteria is there. Good, bright and light.
Ok little shopping centre, not a wide selection of shops but still not bad it's clean and there is good security.
Pretty good selection of shops..... you can buy most things here. The center itself is starting to look a little tired.
It's open all good need dulcies to reopen
It's a nice area nice shops and a sainsbury's and a cex and a food farm good range of items to get toys food and more 4 star for me⭐⭐⭐⭐
Clean and tidy and has some good cheap shops to grab a bargain
Some good shops, very clean and pleasant walk through
Good decent amount of shops and service are good all round
Okay, but whole area needs a face lift, to brighten up the area. Lovely little shopping mall.
Couple of nice little shops. Mostly a bit of a dive though. Would benifit greatly from a few more well run independant shops such as the cafe they have there.
Small but good variety of shops
Not a lot to see or purchase much. Nearly as many shops closed as open.
Easy access for all, small range of shops, good walk route to Sainsbury's from the town centre.
Multiple Shops inside the Building. Clean and Tidy.
The only place I can deposit cash in the cashpoint in Santander so its useful to me .
This place is very good at ensuring we stay safe during this period, wish it was bigger though!
Got all I wanted. Convenient for when shopping in Bletchley.
Although a small indoor mall, there are a number of shops that I visit regularly like Farm Foods, Santander, The Card Factory and sometimes even have a bite to eat at the coffee shop.
Very small shopping centre with a few shops. The area is clean but beggers are very common outside the doors of the venue along with groups of teenagers after school.
Small arcade of shops for meds, clothes, stationary, pound shop, cafe
Nice bright and airy place to shop I am disabled so not able to get into some of the shops but they are not the ones that I need
Love pound land always go in for a couple of bits and end up coming out with bags full 🤣
Got new shop in thier..... Enjoy having a browse
Looked great in pictures but can't compete with mkcentre
Clean and tidy area's. Small selection of shops nothing to put yourselves out of the way for. Worth a look if passing.
Always useful for picking up a bargain. Some great little shops.
Usually quiet during the day, would be nice to see more faces. Friendly people and a nice little Cafe inside.
Great little shopping centre. Everything I needed was found.
Management could do a better job. The centre is a bit run down
Tired looking with a lot of chain and budget shops , little character , some businesses closed down post covid
Always a pleasant experience not a lot of people so it's easy to get around the small shopping area I just love Holland and Barrett's
This place has most things chemist pounds hop clothes shoes cards and more you can get most of what u want here and there's a sainsbury on the outside
Ok
Some decent shops in here for many needs from food shops to homeware and jewelry
Very useful shops but an absolute diabolical place.
LMK beauty is there as well as Poundland, Wilko and other necessary shops. Simple and useful space.
The place I wanted was shut still paid for parking
Good shops, I often visit Dulcies cafe for some lovely company, a cappuccino and a chocolate muffin. Lots of different things on the memue
Nice shops to look around , nice and clean
Very good Shops but some I don't like very much so I give it a 4 star rating.
Decent place. There aren’t a lot of shopping options and parking is a bit strange. Surprisingly for a place like Bletchley where there is a lot of free parking available elsewhere
Fantastic little shopping centre, lots of variety for things to do. mainly went there for clothes
Today I enjoyed my day shopping in brunel centre I managed to buy everything I needed and more.i recommend centre to all my friends family
Good shops lived there all my life see it go though the changing even worked there at one point some of the works in some shops r very rude but all together it's a nice place

Good Mix of shops and all have real bargains
Yh it's OK with good selections of shops with good variety
Was able to get a lovely phone cover from a really helpful assistant who was running a stall in the Brunel Shopping Centre. Would visit again.
has some reasonable choice but not the main shops that you would expect apart from boots and WH Smith
Not very much open at the moment, even when all the shops are open there isn't much to see.
Pretty good. Not my fav place but got few decent shops
Has everything that I love, candy shop, books shop. Cex also good place to get all birthday stuff.
Not much open at the moment. Used it as a walk through to sainsbury's
Small Arcade connecting Wilko to Sainsbury's
It has a Poundland and a WH Smiths on the way.
Bletchleys little covered area I love it but I remember it as a kid so has memories. Its not like it used to be .still handy
Excellent for shopping. Farm foods and Savers are 2 of my favourite shops
Quite small but good for a quick restock if you're passing through the area...
Kept clean with a good range of shops
A covered shopping centre with a fair range of shops and an adjacent Sainsbury's supermarket. Near the Bus station and also onto Queensway, the main shopping street.
Nice little shopping centre got the basics f9r what you need. Right next to parking and a supermarket
This place has stepped it's game up looks really nice now. But I do miss the underground tunnel
Most shops back open and the self distancing works well...most of the time
It's not bad. Small but reasonable selection of shops.
Small shopping centre, limited selection of shops. Area felt rather run-down. Parking was inexpensive.
Good.
This is a small shopping centre in Bletchley. It has a good variety of shops. I have been using it for over fourty years.
Small shopping arcade.
A bit limited but alright if you're looking for discount stores, no onsite toilet facilities
Nice and clean very bright a few shops there to choose from
Lots of shops great for getting clothes, food shopping and all your essentials
Good shops no toilets in shops the only toilet block was closed making the shopping experience uncomfortable
More of a local centre than a shopping centre - adequate for everyday requirements but few major shops.
Small shopping precinct with Shoe shop, pound shop, health food shop, chemist and newsagents. Good (chargeble) parking.
Farm foods was my destination today always good value for money friendly service and staff
It's ok ish...just a small arcade of shops. Poundland boots savers farmfoods etc
