Pleasant shopping experience undercover with total accessibility for disabled or power chairs. Even rent wheelchairs for taking an elderly relative round and some powered options too As range of shops go there is shop everything and lots of catering and loos too. The big shops like Fenwick and John Lewis are balanced with small specialist shops including claires. Only fault is the loss of shops and boarded up shop fronts even though taste fully done.

Eldon Garden Shopping Shopping Centre is adjoined to Eldon Square Shopping Centre, both of which are just off the main traffic-free (fully-paved and with seating) outdoor shopping area, Northumberland Street. Eldon Garden Shopping Centre is more bijoux than Eldon Square and has an ambiance of its own. There are lots of little gift outlets and salons over two floors and a central eatery area where you can enjoy a break with a cuppa and a snack, with lots to choose from 😋 Maybe pop in when you visit Newcastle for gift shopping and a pamper ☺️👌🏽

This is the most confusing centre!loads of shops good shops too but a total maze of a place!we went in one entrance and ended up coming out on the opposite side of the busy road so confusing🤣 great shops and food places

Few shops at the bottom of eldon square right beside bus station. Few places to eat or to grab take away. Couple shops. Walk through St George's Square and you will get to a different part of eldon square, or it's a good short cut to the grainger Market but just go up escalator and you will get to main part of eldon square. Lots shops and if your hungry lots of nice places to grab bite to eat. Short walk from 3 main metro stations, haymaket, monument and St James. Lots of pubs and restaurants and more shops are close by and plenty of fast food outlets. You could even stay over as because lots of hotels are close by. You can even drive into town and park at the multi storey car parks. A good bus service runs into town and you will find 2 good bus station,1 beside M&S, near Hay Market and 1 at Eldon Gardens. Its clean and tidy with a few public toilets around and in Eldon square😊

This tends to be a quieter flow of traffic as it’s a dead end except to those heading to St James Park on a match day! There is excellent parking nearby within the complex if a little hard for first timers so be vigilant with signs. I went to m and a from the bus depot end which is the food hall side and ventured upstairs. The checkout lady was fab suggesting I get a bigger bag as they are all the same price as she knew I needed to stick up on some m and s favourites! Really nice in what still are difficult circumstances.

Lovely spacious mal on two floors with great branded shops. My regular reason to go here is for Bravissimo, where staff help you get professionally fitted with lovely quality under garments. There is also some lovely sit and eat open restaurants... I have yet to take time out to try some of them... One day when I find the time I will spend a day out here 😁

A sort of depressing bolted on area of Eldon Square that sadly, due to its position and location fails in attracting foot traffic which has resulted in shops having to close down after failing to meet intu’s rent. Stylistically it actually looks more akin to The Metrocenter, but since it’s half empty it’s just sort of a sad affair to pay it a visit. This area is more focused towards independent shops.

There is a superb arts co-operative on the upper level which has an exhaustive collection, mainly paintings or photographs, all by local artists, to suit a variety of tastes and budgets.... Great for that 'special' unique gift.... And if the recipient doesn't quite get on with your choice they can exchange them. Strong local feel but Not exclusively so. Also the pen shop again Great choice of quality writing materials to suit all tastes budgets and occasions

It's not often we get the time to just wander around the city. EG was somewhere we hadn't visited before. It was pleasing to find a cafe which served tea and cake. It's so pleasant having tea and cake whilst watching the world of people rushing by. The seating at Sambuca was so comfy. An hour soon passed. Nice one.

Eldon Square is a great shopping centre. It has a lot to offer. If you have a problem with your mobile carrier. Don't worry! All the major operators are there. I love this place.

Plan your parking... Clean and safe environment. Very lively. Many markets ranging from the least expensive to the very expensive. It's in the city centre so you can decide to go elsewhere. Only issue is that you have to plan your parking before leaving home

I don't get it? Why do people need to pay too much for food and products? Why don't some of the junk food establishmentments inform their obese customers on why they are uncomfortably dying? I merely pass through occasionally now. The whole concept is becoming vintage, doesn't matter the modern spin that gets rewashed over it every so often. Many places are a "Oh let's try this place (once) for a change" other places are just evidence of the gentrification of the city. This city isn't rich, but people are too xxxxx to realise they can't afford or need those little empty splurges that are usually just harming their health anyway. At least there are a few more places to sit these days that doesn't require patronage. Although I suspect inside is still scarce on seating that doesn't hit the wallet. They certainly don't scale it to the seasons either.

A rather bland shopping centre that lacks it's true potential with many empty units and shops that aren't significantly different to those found in Eldon Square. The place could do with some high end designer labels to help set itself apart from the more down to earth Eldon Square, not with its current setup.

Shopping centre that's in centre of Newcastle and right now I'd say at its very best! Clean calm environment with security and help desks throughout plus toilets which are the cleanest in town by a Royal Mile 👍🏼

Eldon Garden is tucked away in a corner of the Eldon Square shopping complex and suffers a lack of footfall as a consequence .Three quality shops that we have frequented in the past have relocated, Lakeland has gone to a busier site in Eldon Square, Rohan to Hood Street and Austin Reed, Crombies et al have long since gone. A number of cafes and restaurants have come and gone over the years. This is a shame because the area is well lit and a pleasure to visit. The outlets that remain deserve support. .
