K. H.Great compact store selling everything you could ever want in terms of comic books, DC, Marvel, Star Wars, the list goes on. I purchased two Star Wars books I haven’t got which is fantastic as Waterstones generally don’t stock the latest ones. I wish there were one in Lincoln where I live! Will be back here if visiting Newcastle again.

D. R.Amazing place with great product and friendly staff. The best place to buy figures in the North East if you ask me, but can be abit over priced sometimes when it comes to the comic books / omnibus. They do have great deals on sometimes though but I usually do my book shopping online. All in all I would still highly recommend this place to any nerd or geek :)
S. D.Always a great place to shop. Have a great and wide variety of gifts or something for yourself! Last time I went in the staff were especially helpful with showing me what's inside one of the books, which I ended up buying. My boyfriend liked the gift!
M. C.Staff are always friendly and helpful, but today even more so. My daughter & I were browsing the books & comics looking for anything Power Rangers related (her favourite show). We came across a couple of comic book grab bags which she was deciding between before a staff member (Glen) asked us to wait a moment. He came back with a Power Rangers book that was in the sale and my daughters eyes lit up. He'd obviously overheard us talking, and even though it was something small, he went out of his way to find the book, bring it over and show her. In the end we bought the book & the grab bags. Brilliant customer service, thank you!
J. K.Great for nerd and geek culture. It has a wide selection of merchandise from well known tv shows, movies and games. It also has a selection of comic books, graphic novels, manga, books and board games.
K. 8.Great shop. Really decent size too in comparison to ours in Middlesbrough. Had a good selection of everything, but was a little disappointed in the pop figure range. We popped in to get a Grogu squishy for our daughter for Christmas, but there was none left in stock.
Bit we'll definitely pay another visit next time we visit The Toon.

J.I love the forbidden planet they do awesome Star Wars figures and I buy all of my figures from the forbidden planet I really love the place and I the workers as they are really friendly and nice and they are nice to talk to as well and do all the good stuff and Star Wars is definitely one of them and they do nice books as well so it’s a good place like I really like the forbidden planet and the workers well done guys I hope you keep on what you are doing and keep up with the good work
