Best thing they ever did! Saves queues on the main road holding all the traffic up. Just drive in. The ones that complain are those who don’t like the booking system and would rather just drive up anytime. The guys are really helpful and keep the place clean. Well Done all! Appreciated.

This is the first time we’ve used the centre since before Covid. We arrived bang on time and drove in. The signage is not clear on where you are meant to go and I ended up going the wrong way. The man sitting waiting to book you in made no attempt to indicate which way to go or even to stand up to make it clear you needed to stop to book in (no sign for that either). I found his attitude antagonistic which didn’t help the situation. He did explain where each area was but finishing by telling me to drive safely was just red rag to a bull. Once we got past him, there was plenty of space to park where you needed to and his colleague was helpful in directing you when it wasn’t clear. Better signage would help things run smoother.

Today was great. I arrived earlier than my appointed time, was checked in drove round, and there were 2 cars using the household waste site, by the time I was going there were 3 cars using it. Very pleased with the facilities and the time it took 5o use it.

We booked an appointment which was quite difficult initially online. When I turned up to the centre, there was clear instructions on how to enter and unload. No queuing and was very well managed. I must say that if the council could adopt something similar when the lockdown is over it would save the queues on the dual carriageway which must be an accident waiting to happen. I'm sure that this system could be modified to ensure a smooth and safe process.

Entry has to be prebooked using a devilishly user unfriendly app. Once you're booked (nearly always 2 weeks away) entry is strictly controlled but relatively straightforward. Skips are clearly marked and movement around them easy whilst observing self distancing. However, staff in control are relatively friendly but are poorly briefed and not able to provide guidance where to put unusual waste - in my case partly rotting decking wood.

Well laid out and organised into different areas and the staff very helpful in directing you once there. There is a circular route so if you miss your bay or can't get parked it's easy to go around again within the site. Can get very busy at peak times, especially weekends so choose your visit time carefully.

I booked a visit to the centre today as it reopened following the covid 19 closure. I must say the Team there had put a lot of work into making everything run smoothly. From my experience I think the booked slots should continue as the new normal.

Good range of recycling options. Staff were really helpful, but improving site signage could vastly improve the experience and lessen the need to ask the staff so many questions. Needs more detailed information on council website so that we could have sorted recycling correctly prior to slinging it into the car.

Simple online booking service for Covid time slots. The team working there were fabulous being friendly and efficient. Some of the public were not practicing social distancing, that was frustrating 😤.

Considering the current situation with the covid-19 thebrun to the tip was better than anticipated. Of your lucky enough to get an appointment then its pretty straight forward. I got to my appointment 10 minutes early and went straight in. I drove around the opposite way thats normally permitted and was greeted by one of the employees. He asked whether I had any electrical devices, oil or car batteries. I had electrical. Before I was to go to the general area I had to drop my electricals to the designated area. When I got to the main tip part I was guided in and shown where to park. There are inky 4 vehicles allowed in at any one time. Another employee was at hand to guide me to the correct bins. At present you are given a 39 minute time slot, for me personally I was in and out in around 10 mins. As long as you follow the rules due to the pandemic then you won't have an issue. All in all the trip was straight forward and hassle free.
