Just been to the tip with a heavy double mattress. I had heard the staff here were “unhelpful jobsworths”, so I was very pleasantly surprised. A young chap with a beard came straight over and offered to help. He basically carried the mattress himself and put it in the container. Excellent service, thank you.

This has been here for many years and has adapted well to be right up to date. Able to take most household rubbish. Everything is laid out in well organised skips, for each type of recycling object that are well labelled. With the bonus of a very helpful team making the whole process very easy. Can get busy at weekends, but it is a well organised site. We always use it and have done so for nearly forty years.

Short wait at 830am much longer by the time I left. They are operating strict limited car numbers at any one time. Don't forget to register your vehicle before you go.

Recycling is never an entertaining activity, but the guys and girls at the Beeston Recycling Centre are always helpful. Just remember to be polite; Ive seen some clients being rude which is simply not acceptable. They are just advising us what is and isnt acceptable.

Restrictions are in place, so 5 cars at one time can lead to queues forming. Very helpful guys and gals to tell you which bins to use if you're not sure. At the time I went, the staff are NOT able to help you unload, and only 1 person is permitted from each car. So if your junk is big n bulky, make sure you can unload on your own.....

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to help. Place is always kept clean.

They are SO helpful here, they deserve every penny they get.... They keep everything tip- top.... No refuse, where it shouldn't be...... All clearly demarcated, parking bays, and clearly marked on skips, what goes where.... If you have a heavy item , they will gladly help...... Top marks....👏👏👏👏

A very efficient system, with friendly staff. However it is worth noting that the recycling centre effectively close down for new customers at 5.00pm as it takes approximately 1hour to deal with the waiting queue. In other words dont go after 5.00pm expecting to use the centre, unless of course that they have had no customers all day !

The recycling game is constantly evolving and the council leave a lot of judgement to the operators (certainly on quantity)so not an exact science if they will accept what you take......can be frustrating for all concerned.

Very helpful and nice team, of course there are rules to follow but they inform people in a polite and informative way. Great bunch of guys always feel welcome when I take my household items to be recycled or disposed of.

Bit disappointed, went to dispose of some tins of paint to be told they couldn't take it as they were waiting for a lorry to clear the huge amount of paint that had already been left....Will add, member of staff I spoke with was very helpful 👍

It was OK there are a little wait ✋ but to be expected we was waiting around time 20 minutes to 30 on each trip as only letting 3 in yard at a time but was plecent visit

50 / 50 some staff can be really helpful, Others just stare at you and can be quite rude. Rule of thumb if your a bloke you stand no chance of help.
