Such a fantastic play area! Go karts for a pound and you get quite a while on them! Decent food and drinks at affordable prices - not like some play areas that just over charge you for a coffee! Big play area over 3 levels for over 5s and a little area for under 4s. There's a sports area at the top with footballs and basketball nets/courts. It's brill!

I haven’t been to play escape for a while as I always thought it was dirty and a couple of times my son got sick after playing there. We tried again today as we heard it had new owners and the difference was amazing. It’s been repainted and has had a deep clean and feels much lighter airy and obviously much cleaner. Expansive play area, with plenty of chairs and space for adults. Really well maintained, so the kids could go wild...even if they did need to ask for directions to get to the top 🤭! Large ceilings means that it never feels oppressively full, even when busy. Only reason for the four, not five, stars was the awful coffee and (mostly) apathetic staff.

I took my 8yr old son and my 2 Yr old grandchild we didn't really have a good day here we had to wait in a line outside in the rain. Food took ages too as all electrics in kitchen kept switching off . Older children running riot climbing up netting and knocking the smaller children i will not be bring a child under 4 again as not suitable for young children and made for the older ones

Great for the price. Everything looks fine and in order. The employees could use a bit of a pep talk maybe, they seem very disenchanted with a customer facing role. Let's not pretend kids are always the same the world over. The rules are in place but you will see the odd toddler running around with shoes on. If you stay for the duration (2 hours) you will be bored and if you want something to eat I highly advise you to go for a bite after you leave. It's hot in there after an hour even if you're sat. Drink water, get up move around. Throw a plastic ball at a kid! They're easy targets. Lol.

Fantastic place for all ages kids around the age of play centres, lovely baby play area and all very well sectioned off from loads of running little feet, only downfall is the price of the food so wouldn’t recommended eating there, 2 toasties on their own a hot drink and a fruit shoot cost £20!!!

Would benefit from being able to book online. We arrived to an unorganized queue and a notice saying 15 minutes wait, we got in after about 45 minutes. Once in no problems, food quick and very nice, children loved it. Toilets clean - always a good sign.

Great treat for kids, our 3 year old loves it,three soft play areas, (large (recomended for above 4 area with slides and swings and suchlike, a baby/toddler bit and a sports area. For adults there's a great cafe with good coffee and food selection for kids and adults. Only downside so far has been each time we've been the "go-karts" which seem to be a bit of a pay as you go thing are always closed.

Went there today. Been to many of these types of places and definitely one of the best in Notts area. The play area for the little ones isn't very big but my daughter is nearly 4 so I took her around the bigger area and she was OK. The staff seemed good and helpful. Only really problem was the £5 minimum payment. As there was only me and my daughter we only needed a drink each for less than 2 hours of play, so we so I ended up paying for food which largely went to waste. Another problem with the £5 minimum spend was when we were leaving. My daughter noticed a balloon, so I went to buy one for £1. Unfortunately I couldn't do that either. So left with out one. Perhaps they could create a kids goodie bag to leave with that totals a fiver with various items in there that's totals to a fiver. I may have bought that Overall a good experience though, all the kids were well behaved and other parents seemed nice

As with all these kinds of places, the kids loved it but the coffee was expensive and not very good. I personally believe that the £1 fee they charge for an adult to visit with their child should be redeemable from the coffee shop. If you're just gonna sit there there a fee is fair as you're taking up space. But £6.80 for a couple of coffees and chocolate bars and they're making the money out of you there.

We come here once and most likely don't come again. Now a bit closer. It was rainy day tuesday and escape was busy looking google check. And 1 thing that iwas disappointed its air ventilation. It was off or not enought as was realy stuffy. The 2 thing tables are so clouse to each other thats you need ask people stand up to go through. And the most disappointing for me its unclean. They realy need focus on it. Also its dark. A lot of sweets and play machine's what in my opinion realy bad. I bring child there fof activity as its bad weather out and not for explaining allergic child thats he cant eat that or sit in car and ride or play computer games. Itm undestand thats is a business but better leave good impression then get couple pounds extra.

Great value for money, well equipped play centre for kids. Our 2 year old really enjoyed his time here and was fast asleep shortly after we left he enjoyed himself so much. We ordered food which was reasonable value (good value of you only compare to other play centres). Food was very nice, but the reason for 4 not 5 stars was that our friends ordered food shortly after us (a veggie hot dog and chips) which took about 40 minutes to come out! This when it food only took 10-15 minutes. Overall we all enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. Also might be advisable to put on website or somewhere prominent that parking on the lower floor is easier if you have a pushchair or pram.

It was Saturday, school hols and raining. really busy. We had phoned and told it was steady but not too busy, no booking. When we got there it was explained it was busy had been all day and there was at least a 15 min wait. I know on the website it mentions lack of staff. To be honest a booking system would probably have been better for them. Staff were friendly. Would probably choose a school day n hours to go back.

A great soft play, but the staff cannot cope when it’s busy, I know it’s half term but they need some professionals in not just cheap labour as most staff looked under 18. The seating area is also very congested and there no no thoroughfares to the toilets. The children loved it there and had a great time, there are lots of different areas for our different aged children. 40 minutes for a cup of tea though is silly.

Just been to escape play with my friends and there children and I must say what a fantastic time we all had. The centre is exceptionally clean and the food was all cooked to order and arrived at our table nice and hot. I was really pleased to note that nothing was fried. I really enjoted the freshly made cake and i even bought a couple of slices to take home with me. The play areas were clean and the staff were very helpful and constantly cleaning and wiping down and clearing the tables. I will definitely be back. The children ranging from 1yr to 5yrs had a fantastic time with toys to suit all ages to play with and climb on. We will defernitly be returning with the older children at the weekend as we enjoyed it as much as the tots. I can certainly rate this play centre as a fantastic place best 2 hrs well spent and worth every penny. Well done escape play centre best centre around by far

Was really good, ideal for the kids to let off steam before a trip to IKEA. Food was average, place was pretty dirty in the standard softplay style. Pretty tricky for adults to get around the over 4s bit, which may be the point of the design but my 4 yr old still requires assistance sometimes! Lots of variation and great toddler area. Will go again if we're in the area 😁

Couldn't rate this play centre enough. Under 1s are free, apart from a £1 charge for the adult. Then next level up after 1 is £1.80 for the child which is great value as it's big with a really nice under 4s area and a huge big kid area. They also put on additional play things at no extra charge so they have messy play 2 mornings a week and activity mat with lots of toys to play with on a wed afternoon. The staff are friendly, its clean and there is plenty of parking. They have a strict no photo policy but this doesnt bother me. My only criticism is that the toys available to play with had no sound or light function as there was either no batteries in them or they had run out of charge. Which is a shame as working musical toys in the activity area would have been perfect

Feeling ripped off already before my son’s Birthday Party. My son wanted his birthday party here because he had been before for one of his friend’s birthday party. We managed to get a weekend slot at very short notice and the staff were helpful sorting this. I paid a deposit to secure the slot and said I would pay in full the following day when we would have a better idea of the number of children. We had less than week to organise. There was a one free child offer on their website and Facebook, which I had seen before paying the deposit, which I mentioned when I phoned the following day to confirm the booking and number of children. I was gobsmacked to be told I had to quote offer before I paid the deposit as this was considered as the confirmation of booking. I normally don’t write reviews and usually overlook the odd bad review if the majority of reviews are positive. I will however update this review after my son’s party and I will highlight anything I consider to be less than acceptable considering the price paid and the refusal to honour the offer. So if you’re thinking of booking here based on an offer you’ve seen mention it as soon as they answer the phone!.. they will refuse any offers mentioned later and not even offer something by way of compensation. I’m rating 3 stars based on my booking experience so far. This could increase or decrease based on the party experience itself later.

My daughter loves this play centre l, has a lot more to offer than a lot of other play centres we visit. That being said it is a little pricey. The price for entry isn't too bad as it is a very large area. However the price of drink is quite steep for the small amount you receive, plus a filter coffee is the same price and size as having a latte/cappuccino/mocha. The child's meal was pouring oil when it arrived, nuggets were pale and beans were over done.

The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because there seems to be no control of the areas specified for under 4's. A lot of older children running in and out while my 2 year old was trying to play. We left shortly after. The older children have a giant area to play in so if the staff could control this better it would have been a much better visit.

Huge soft play climbing/sliding area with slides, zip wires etc., disco room, small football area with goal, toilets were clean and nice. Overall the best I've seen in the region and happy to pay the £4.50 entrance fee (grown ups free)!

Almost £7 to get in, £3 for a cappuccino I can only describe as "Very lonely and sad looking" ( I mean a shaking of chocolate dust isn't going to kill ya surely) No cars, bikes on and not enough staff apparently (Maybe say that before you pay almost 7 quid to get in) one thing is the girls keep it clean.

Great place, if you want to wear out your children and want to have a cuppa in peace. They operate a limit on the amount of children on the premises so it's never overcrowded. 😊 There are two areas; over 5's and under 5's If you want to you can pay extra for the go karts (bumper cars)

Visit here on a regular basis with my grand daughter. Large place for children to play at their leisure from young ages to 12+ in a secure environment. Good cafe area for adults and kids that provide snacks and cooked food. As a downside there is no free WIFI which I would have expected

I took my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter - she didn't like the U4 area as it was small and uninteresting for her - one small double slide and a sports area which was full of much older children kicking a ball about too hard!) the over 4 was better but obviously couldn't let her go alone as there were much bigger older children going wild ! It's OK but don't think I would take her again - Mouse Trap at Bulwell much better (in my opinion only) although when I asked her where she wanted to go next time and her answer was Mouse Trap !

Our little boy really enjoys it here. Mummy had a little mishap today and really hurt her foot. The staff were on hand more or less straight away and the help we recieved from other Mummy and Daddy's were very humbling. Sarah the supervisor (I think) went the extra mile and rang mummy at night time to see how she was. These little tokens of kindness really do go a long way xx thank you to the staff at Escape and thankyou to the parents who also helped us in our hour of need xxx we'll see you again soon (hopefully) xxx

My Daughter loves this place its a really nice place, there's plenty of chairs and tables for the adults to sit on, 4 chairs to each table n comfortable chairs, food is available too and drinks, and coin operated small electric bikes, the play bit is really well set out and my daughter loves all the swings n balls n ropes, she never stops running round for the whole time were there, we go about once a fortnight n shes usually asking to go inbetween too, so I can definatly recommend this place, it's only £5.50 and ya get approximately 2 hours,only children pay, there's no charge for any amount of adults, n yes I do go round the escape play with her for about 20 mins lol n then I'm destroyed haha 😂 all in all a good 2 hours n value for money..n good enjoyment.. .
