Such an elegant speciality shopping venue with a magnificent dome ceiling. So if you ever walk in, don’t forget to gaze up at the ceiling to admire the painting inside the dome. The Arcade is accessible via public transport and close to a few car parks. A bit of history: the Exchange Arcade was constructed a hundred of years ago and inaugurated by Prince of Wales.

First time, warm WELCOME as I entered to meet a group of friends. Service is leisurely but worth it. Their's wide Choose of 🎂's, and the drinks are 🔥on a cold windy morning. Atmosphere and service was pleasant and warm 'a come back again' even before your served. An experience to be repeated again and again.

Hi went with my daughter for a coffee in the cheese shop they have lovely food and i think the coffee is brilliant be because it is a nice place it gets a lot of people in so it gets very busy a bit to many people in for me but a very friendly place

It's beautiful and oldest shopping mall with a unique murals at the roof portraying Robin Hood and other historical figures. Another unique aspect is its clock chime which is quite in depth and could be heard from a long distance.

I do enjoy walking through this old merchant building, it is just a shame that only half the units are being used by retailers. But a good bit of history and the art and stone works surrounding the inside is delightful.

This place never disappoints, always clean and well looked after. Their Christmas decorations didn't dissapoint, looked stunning. All the shops were decorated and made my trip to town well worth the effort. Always a pleasure to look around.

An old style shopping arcade but lovely still. There are a number of these dotted about but we do enjoy this one which has a lovely coffee and so much more cafe inside. A good few shops are also available. It does get used as a walk through by some but it is still somewhere nice to visit.

Lovely building, with a nice range of shops, however slightly on the expensive side. But I did manage to bag myself a Radley Bag at a bargin price with a 50% off. The ladies in the shop were also lovely and did have a laugh with me because when my husband knew the price of the bag, he nearly fainted!!!!

A superb gem of a food outlet, great food superb staff with service to the table, immaculate hygiene standards, very well priced food options and excellent portioned meals. Located inside a Superb arcade stunning example of the former opulent building lovingly restored and cared for.

Jack Wolfskin staff are helpful and knowledgeable, the same can be said of the doc Martins shop, I don't think that I have ever seen a shop there that has been less than high quality.

I needed some silicone nose pads for an expensive pair of Oakley sunglasses and found a source on Google. By coincidence, the seller - Optique Vision - had a branch in Nottingham, which I discovered was located in Exchange Arcade. I called to check stock and they had them, plus they offered to fit them for free. I popped in a few days later and the impressive-looking store was staffed by friendly and helpful people. Job done, and I'd recommend this shop to anyone looking for glasses. They weren't listed as tenants of the Arcade when I looked. They really should be. First Class service.
