Reviews of St George's Shopping Centre
i. B.
Over all my family enjoy going to st.georges shopping mall. In stores are affordable and of great quality products. 👌. I have tried apparails, toys, stationery, juices and snacks, gaming stores. Don't know about makeup, and perfumes but heard from my friend that's also very good one's. Thanks.!
N. W.
Preston is one of my all-time most hated places that I have ever visited, but after recently visiting the shopping centre, I was very pleasantly surprised, so much so that after years of hating Preston with a passion, and never wanting to visit that cesspit again, I wanted to go back the next day just for the day out.
Found everything I needed and more, including things I've not been able to get elsewhere or only found online (and it was cheaper too!) I literally cancelled an Amazon order for MSG as they had it in the Asian Supermarket for a fraction of the price! Easy 5*
J.
I came here to buy drugs. My dealer was as always very professional and the transaction was quick and efficient. I still can't believe they let drug dealers set up in the back of Superdrug. They have a special section and everything.
T.
Okay so I came here the other day went to go and do some shopping in Preston day out absolutely brilliant little shopping Centre massive range of clothing selections places to get food even managed to sort out my mobile phone while I was over there very clean inside security very friendly and very helpful pop in if you’re in the area
S. J.
I love the hmv and it’s carrying the whole shopping centre, however i love this place as it shields me from the crackheads that crowd the streets of Preston, at the end of the day the toilets are lush they can get a bit hot like a sauna in summer but it’s fine because it’s nearly September xx I like hmv because i like looking at all films.
C. M.
Got in the same category as the other shopping centre in Preston but it is a nice little shopping centre which some good shops. The TK Maxx has some good stuff considering the size, that was a little surprising
s. m.
Good range of stores, car park has steal columns all over. Plenty of seating and restaurants to take a break from shopping with out having to search. High street exits bring you out to even more shops and restaurants. Lift and escalators get you between floors.
P. C.
Lower entrance to M&S. Several food & hot drink establishments. 2 shops for photo equipment + a selection of others. Empty units need filling. Lift & toilets available.
P. W.
Very much the same as most shopping centres but impressed with the staff observing the Covid restrictions as you walk in. Very clean and well kept
T. P. K.
Plenty of spaces. A spaces tight to get into, but no problem if you can actually drive. . But overall very good price for being right at the shopping centre.
A. S.
St George's is really good to shop in there are that many shops your like a rabbit in head lights not knowing which shop to go in first
W. H. T.
Changed alot since last visiting. Felt slightly lost. Parking useful and secure.
A. K.
It's a nice place to hang around but many parts were closed due to some works.. also locking up the toilet in the middle of the day for cleaning was not a good idea... It made pot of people uncomfortable.
T. W.
Basic shopping centre, it has many shops including a Kenji which I have reviewed before, sometimes the shops are hard to find / layout is difficult but still you can ask around and find your way. It has two entrances on either side of it and a food hall in the middle.
R. E.
Great place to spend some time, pleasant surroundings with a good choice of shops.
Y. C.
Bought a couple of tops from Brands Outlet decent place to buy clothes if on a budget. Some nice clothes and reasonably priced. Owner always helpful and welcoming 😉
H. M.
Great place loads of different shops to choose from , plus plenty of food and hot and cold drinks to choose from in here , its also handy as its central to nearly everything else you may need .
c. s.
Close to the centre and reasonably priced parking all around. Making fir a relaxed shopping experience
P. A.
St George's has good offering, WH Smith, Matalan, Burger King, Kenji, Costa, amongst others. The cleaning is spotless.
c. g.
My fab shop and restaurant in here, being
The Works and Raffles. Much the same as other big malls, much of a muchness. Needs better air conditioning and a few more benches.
S.
Usual sort of town centre shops. Easy access with decent access to multi story car park too.
J. B.
Good indoor shopping centre in Preston. There's plenty of shops and places to eat.
G. P.
Not been for a long time. Changed a lot. Don't like car park spaces too small as my car is large.
J. M.
Great place to shop, not up to pre covid days but it will take a while
D. H.
Nice place to shop and browse through on the two levels that are both disability friendly. Plenty of eateries to choose from including Raffles on the ground floor where Rachel, Sophie and company will be pleased to host you.
D. W.
Very busy place and plenty of shops. We ate at Raffles - delicious food and friendly staff.
S. “. T.
It's a big shopping centre, it's always nice and clean tidy lots of shops and cafes
A.
Clean and smart lots of retail outlets over 3 floors
a. f.
One of the biggest shopping arcades /malls in Preston.
This shopping centre along with FisherGate are the two main malls on the High Street. One can not miss it.
Good number of food & clothing stores.
P. S.
Centre has lots of different stores to cater for all tastes however centre staff can be very unhelpful
m. O.
Big place but full of high street shops did not like parking but never shopped in Preston before
J. R.
Brilliant shops, always clean and well run.
L. P.
Only visited Marks and Spencer. Clean shop, friendly staff. Good choice of clothes, got all I wanted.
R. D.
About what you'd expect from a shopping centre. The restaurant that used to do a decent breakfast is closed now though 😕 Thanks covid...
t. b.
Clean and tidy small shopping center. Reasonable mix of shops
R. B.
Quite a decent size shopping centre for Preston always seems clean and has a good car park on top that isn't very expensive. The shopping centre always stays open till 8pm for a few weeks before Christmas and gets decorated really well.
T. H.
Lovely place to explore and maybe have a coffee at raffles.
I. S.
Only give 3 Stars as we just used it for a short cut as it's comes out the other side of town when we have more time we will have a good look at the shops in the
l. d.
Always loved this shopping centre lots shops also have visitors toilets right at the top on the centre,
D.
I have shopped here since I was a child. There are plenty of coffee shops as well as the other shops. It's central to the city and easy to get to for those who aren't local. it has a car park and there is disabled access from the car park to everything in the mall. There are also disabled toilets and lifts that take wheelchairs.
T.
Whenever I am in Preston, I'm paying a visit to St George's Shopping center. Nice place to loose time in.
J. B.
Good variety of shops and nice clean toilets.
A. J.
It hasn't really changed much over the last 5-10 years. Fairly standard selection of stores with the addition of a food court in the centre, although calling it a food court is a but if a stretch. More like a few cafes and a burger king.
It's so disappointing to see so many empty shops, however the landlords don't help matters by charging such high rates. Surely, it's better to charge a lower price and full your empty shops!
B.
Great place to shop, loads of places like M&S, Matalan, HMV. Burger King and Costa provide refreshments. Car park attached, so great if it is raining.
M. G.
City centre is just so different now
I can't get out much it was Sept last year I got into the city centre and a lot has changed from even then
B. A.
Like most shopping centres looking a bit tired, not a lot of choice.
Sign of the times sadly.
P. E.
Must declare a prexisting connection because my wife works in the business I was visiting so not impartial, but got exactly what I required at a good price, staff wonderful. KEO jewellery is the best and the 2 people I was buying presents for were extremely happy. 👍👍👍
E. N.
I was just looking as my first time to walk through found it very clean and tidy and a pleasant place to shop
L. S.
Lots of shops i could have spent all day there. Pity I was with my husband
D. B.
Had a great experience, was drunk at 1.30pm and I followed the tiles to the bathroom
B. W.
Although there are a few empty shops, still plenty of selection, nice and clean.Good selection of food outlets. Although toilets, nice and clean, are on the top floor, easy access via escalators, lifts,or stairs.
D. S.
Amazing security 👏 walk around like married couples 💑
D. D.
Just out for some window shopping, worth a visit.
L. m.
I ti's ok but some shops expensive than outside
P. S. G.
Very clean, lifts out of order, but at least it as a Costa
H. K.
One criticism there are not enough banches for shoppers to sit.
c. j.
Nice and clean as always, plenty shops
n. w.
Nice open space great matalans really big and m and s.ease to get around with escalators and a lift.Easy parking too.dew shops have closed but sure they will be filled soon.
G. W.
Getting better after the devastation of covid more shops opening and a lot busier excellent place to shop a must go to place if visiting the city
C. W.
Good to see security walking about not just stood at the doors
w. w.
Good variety of shops and food outlets. Well worth a visit. Chippy now closed
M. S. C.
This used to be the jewel in the crown of Preston's shopping centre and still has a number of really great shops. However, they have decided to allow a fish and chip shop open on the lower level. Now I love chip shop chips, but the smell of old oil being reheated in the morning is overbearing and off-putting. Maybe another reason to keep wearing masks.
I. E.
Great selection of shops and food outlets.
A. G.
Christmas decorations look pretty
E. W.
This place as over store's in it too if you would like to look at them and as toilets too on the top floor if you need them too.
C. R.
Situated in the heart of Preston city centre St George's Shopping Centre has lots of shops and eateries and is also surrounded by more of the same you will find something or somewhere for everyone.
There is a Wetherspoon's near by and a McDonald's.
Inside there are too many places to name but like I already mentioned lots of places with a good variety of store types.
J. “. B. H.
Like a maze but finally after 4 years, finding my way round it 3😉
D. D.
Great variety of stores for all your shopping needs
m. m.
Love coming to Preston shopping everyone is friendly and can always find a deal or 2 thank you
S. J.
Went to The Works, as usual they had exactly what I wanted and the staff are always friendly and helpful here 👍
C. s.
At geroges is another one of the main parts of town, it's got so much amazing things inside waiting to be seen, it's so amazing that one building can contain lost of other buildings in it too! I would recommend going there if your in town!
S.
Good for a small city like Preston. Has some good brand stores like H&M, Krispy Kreme, Ernest Jones, Swarovski, Pandora, Claire’s, Costa, Holland and Barrett, Hmv, Subway, Specsavers, The works, The perfume shop and more! Always nice and clean, busy, has escalators and an elevator.
Shame some of the shops have closed down and could use some bigger brands like Zara, but overall it’s lovely.
K. B.
nice shopping area nice shops and the excellent sky counter
K. S. (.
Nice experience found what I was looking for. Clean & tidy and not too crowded
M. T.
Standard issue shopping centre handy cut through from one side of town to the other
V. R.
Only went to game but nice place
P. B.
Good size shopping centre with on site pay&display car park...wheelchair parking and accessibility ♿️ A very clean and well run shopping centre.
A. S.
Good collection of different clothes stores, jewellery
A. M.
I like shopping here as there are plenty of shops to choose from.
D. J. M.
St. George's Shopping Centre is a good shopping mall with a wide variety of eateries from Costa, Burger King, Greggs, Krispie Kreme, M&S Oceans Fish & Chips, Patisserie Valerie, Subway & Raffles. There is a good range of clothing stores throughout this Shopping Centre including, H&M, Select & many more. I even found a Jessops Photography Shop! (Actually thought they had all closed down, thankfully not). If you are looking for a gift for any occasion you're sure to find one if not, many! From Game Store to Superdrug. A good choice of parking spaces are available situated within the Shopping Centre which is ideal for disabled guests & for when the colder weather sets in! Would definitely recommend a visit!
A. M.
It has great accesibility and is always fun to roam around.
K. P.
Not to bad due to road works took a while to get to carpark but once their all good 😁😁
W. T.
Makes a nice change seeing a shopping centre that doesn't have loads of boarded up/vacant units. There's a good variety of shops and food/coffee places, with the variety allowing something for everyone. There's a variety of shops including jewellers, clothes shops, cheap shops and high-street brand shops, selling items from clothes, books, stationery, cards to camera equipment, art and phones. The centre is kept clean, as are the toilets. There always seems to be a steady flow of shoppers. Accessibility is good from the car park to the 3 levels in the shopping centre.
N. A.
A wide range of stores. Everything you need in one place.
Z. M. A. R.
St George shopping centre was nice and pleasant also some store with good sale but didn't found any halal food there so only giving four stars.
S. S.
Very lively shopping centre, lots of shops catering to a wide spectrum of needs. There are a couple places to have a decent lunch and/or coffee, and there events that also occur inside the centre at various weekends and times of the year. Very accessible via on site car park and facilities cater to all needs for access.
G. C.
Nice medium sized modern shopping mall with famous brand name stores. Prices standard and the shops not that busy usually. Hard to fault it really might have to go up three sets of escalators to reach the toilets but worth the trip always well looked after. Very impressive Christmas decorations.
c. h.
Very good but could do with more shops doesn't look great with empty shops.
D. R.
Alright range of shops. Too many sales people harassing passers by to enjoy the experience. The car park is very tight and the lifts do not reach the top floor. Parking charges are reasonable though.
S. B.
One of the women's toilet's, smells,
A bit. Why don't they clean it more. As no one wants, to visit toilet's that smells, really bad like this does.
S. 6.
Would definitely revisit as staff were very helpful directing me to where I wanted to go, and the festive decorations were fantastic.
K. 8.
Not the most exciting place, but clean and dry. Hate the fact that there are always people with clipboards trying to stop you outside, major reason to avoid the lower entrance.
E. P.
Loved it got everything all the little shops and big everything in one place to do a good Xmas shop 👍
T. M.
My daughter was kept busy in and all round the center..
D. S.
Okay, but there is a definite lack of seating. For people with mobility issues, chest issues - or just need a bench to sit for a few minutes and give a baby a bottle...then this is not the place. My back issues meant I had to leave after only a short visit.
A. H.
Quite a large place but many of the units are unoccupied
L. W.
Quite a small shopping center in comparison to some , usual shops , nice coffee shops , high street shops
T.
It's very slay
S. S.
Great huge shopping centre with almost everything you can have under a roof.
M. S.
Due to current situation with COVID19 there is a one way system in place and wearing a mask on entry . Most shops/units have sanitizer upon entry and a safe distance measurement in place. Great variety of shops and cafes. Has stairs and escalator /lift up to upper floor for other shops and toilets and up to parking lot on top floors.
A. M.
Compared to the shops in Manchester it's rubbish, typical second rate shopping centre, and I'm being generous with 3 stars .
R. H.
Clean tidy. Very open lots of places to do a good amount of shopping. Great eating circle. Staff friendly and helpful.
A. H.
First time in ages I've been here but was reminded of what a nice shopping precinct it is. Wide variety of shops, was impressed.
h. K.
It's very disorganized knowing it's the heart of preston
A. B.
Small number of high st shops
C. H.
Clean bright centre with parking and easy walk to market or rest of town centre shops, good toilet gacilkties
F. A.
Nice and clean. One way system in place once you come off the escalator. Shops are all open and plenty of places to ear or have a coffee.
S. S.
Yes, another shopping centre, like any another city. The usual shops from the usual franchisees...... Don't notice and drunks, pimps nor crack heads so well done for keeping them out. Pleasant ambiance with a busy but calm need to shop. Yes, 3 stars, as nothing mentally scaring nor jaw droppingly amazing.
J. O. (.
Clean and tidy,
R. C.
This is typical of a modern shopping centre. It is bright and airy, lots of nice shops with plenty of choice.
It is well run, always nice and clean with helpful, friendly staff.
St Georges Shopping Centre is just one of the reasons why a shopping trip to Preston should be on your list of places to visit.
E. C.
It's a great shopping centre where you will be able to find many different retail stores. There's enough shops to give you a good shopping experience. Nevertheless, once you done your shopping you can have a rest and get some food from many food places located at the ground floor. Also, if food is not something you want but rather want to have a hot drink and bit of a rest, then take a seat in Costa coffee, there's plenty of space for you and your friends.
J. G.
Festive and Christmassy in there today. Not too busy this morning either. Good to see mask wearing being enforced too!!
W. C.
Yes just browsing that day. Prices to expensive these days. And parking ripoff.
J. F.
Please feel free to enjoy your shopping in here 💕😘 if you are on your days out and enjoy meal as well ☺️❤️🩹 thanks ☺️😊
P. W.
Limited choice and looking a bit run down
J. V.
Quite a good range of shops
N. F.
From Schzwarofski to Pandora to Superdrug and H&M this I shopping centre is my favourite place to be in Preston. I love the Krispy Kreme doughnut cafe selling doughnuts and coffee downstairs. Love this shopping centre .
M. E.
My son and me love coming here together we go everywhere nearly in here put favourite is the works he loves it so do I u can get some great stuff in there and toy entertainer and hmv everywhere really love Matalan at Georges as a whole is brilliant
A. W.
A great place to go shopping from clothes to books and toys and some great to have food
r. a.
Not too crowded and well socially distanced with one way system in place, mainly has ckothingnstores, superdrug, a very cute store called kanji my favourite, hmv, game, Claire's etc
J. P.
Great shops. Spotless. No hassle if you want to keep a mask on. Staff pleasant
P. T.
Always like the st George's centre, though the carpal is 'interesting ' and not one to go tonwith a large car.
Lots of quality shops and a Costa in the middle.
E. B.
Some great stores but they layout it a little difficult if you want to walk the full whack. Also there is a nail bar upstairs and the chemical smell spreads through half of the centre.
A large Costa downstairs, Burger King, Gregg's and an independent cafe I forget the name of if you want a quick coffee or a quick bite to eat.
Toilets upstairs are always very clean and the parking here is probably the cheapest and most convenient in the city centre.
W. G.
Nice modern indoor shopping centre. Not a huge place but has a decent selection of shops. There is a multi storey car park with decent lifts and a further lift down to one of the two shopping levels. Always clean and maintained and a pleasant enough place to shop in.
D. S.
Nice, big enough shopping centre. With almost everything you might need. Lifts have been broken for a while but escalators and lifts inside shops available. Nice coffee shops and fast foods to stop inside too.
J. A.
Had lunch at Raffles, really good, met a friend there
R. S.
One stop place for shops cafes all you need! Lovely atmosphere and shops. Nice and warm. Toilets on top floor also and lifts available so easy to get around with wheelchairs or prams.
F. M.
Convenient car parking at reasonable rates, well maintained shopping centre with good mix of shops. With easy access to surrounding streets shops and markets.
M. N.
A very good shopping day
A. B.
Love it here, nicely sized, with plenty of shop choices, and always nice and warm inside!
G. Y.
There are Plenty of Shops to choose from along with it being Indoors, which is great as it's been Raining ☔ All day (Wednesday the 19th) + cold as well. Shopwise every outlet that you want + Costa Coffee ☕ is nice there. The shop/ shopping centre Staff + the Cleaners & Security etc work Very Hard &, st George's shopping centre is Always Clean 👮.
T. R.
Lots of empty shops inside.
Looks tired in places.
Great jewellers in there Keo.
Couple of good shops.
Needs a good shoe shop in there.
D. O.
IEnjoy going here everytime, something for everyone. Also very clean.well done.
C. S.
Thier Xmas decorations are fantastic. Kids loved the Xmas tree. Shame the grumpy steward couldnt have been more polite about guiding us in the unclear one way system we hadn't noticed.
P. C.
Needs more outlets to breath live into area opp railway station.
m. D.
Great shopping Arcade, has a lift to both floors, cafe inside it, lots of nice shops, also has escalators
R. L.
Quite a few nice shops to choose from definitely worth a visit
A. G.
Large retail centre. Has toilets with disabled and baby changing facilities, which are always clean and checked regular. A lot of the most popular stores are based in here including food outlets, clothes stores, drugs store/chemist, phone shop, shoe stores etc. Has an escalator and a lift available as this shopping centre is on 3 floors with the toilets and baby changing facilities on the 2nd floor.
D. T.
shopping center tf i posed to say. its generally pretty clean although one of the elevators always smell like wee and there are a good range of shops
S. K.
I love the lighting. Very vibrant and quiet.
S. S.
It's got everything you could need but to busy for me I need space but I'm not knocking it. Loads of parking but you have to pay. Big public toilet space and baby changing also disabled toilets too and lots of different eateries.x
S.
A great place to shop and looking forward to all the shops to reopen like Mataram, Burger King, HMV and so many others. A very clean and safe shopping centre with friendly shop staff and helpful Centre staff.
B. B.
Shopping okay but not much to eat
B. B.
A handy town centre shopping mall with lots of stores on two levels.
Multi storey car park has limited headroom but suitable for standard 4x4s and small vans.
Lots of places to grab something to eat and take 5 from shopping.
S. H.
Nice shopping centre in the heart of Preston town centre. Good choice of shops and restaurants/coffee bars. Parking is reasonably priced too
R. A.
This is a nice shopping centre in the middle of Preston with a decent range of shops. It's also pretty close to the market and other attractions. The carpark isn't the best as the ramps are very tight and steep, especially if you drive a larger car. Parking isn't the cheapest and there's often a queue for the parking payment machines. Apart from that, don't be put off visiting here.
L. B.
Great choice of shops, very well laid out, friendly security staff
A. S.
Wasn’t bad today. Not over crowded and everyone generally observing good COVID manners. Shops relatively well stocked on the lead up to Christmas
B. V.
Very nice place to visit 😊 😀
E. S.
It's ok for what it is, which is a shopping centre. it has some relevant stores for me which I do shop at occasionally. Its very familiar to me, handy.. They have toilets on the top floor 👍🏼, and multiple exits different sides of town. It's ok.. There are at least two shops in there for someone ^_^. At the moment, lune Street entrance and exit is blocked.
E. C.
All under cover, good disabled access, wide variety of shops. Especially found wilko, savers & select very good, much better than their stores in Blackburn & Accrington. Haven't been to Preston for a few years, lots of changes, unfortunately on the market front not for the better, that was very disappointing. But on the whole a enjoyable day managed to get most of what I went for.
2.
Same as most centres, its ok. Better than outside on the street, looking very empty, run down.
A. P.
Nice place to spend time and to get some shopping done all what you may require in one place
D. A.
Very typical city centre shopping centre. Hard to write much about it really...
I had most of the typical places you would expect. And along with the highstreet serves Preston well for stores.
I had not been for a while and it did see a bit rundown, however it was also a rainy day so that could have been swaying my view!
Cafe in the centre part is worth a trip.
B. B.
A good range of shops selling a wide range of products it can get busy and the center where Costa is hand be very loud. It is usually well maintained and you will frequently find cleaners tidying up. There are a few empty shops that make the place look bit run down but they are all in the same place and it is easy to avoid.
A. F.
Great choice of shops and Very Clean....X
R. H.
Was fairly quiet. Easy to walk around. Some big high street names. And Macdonalds conveniently has a Preston station departures board so great place to stop off if you're heading for a train.
J. D.
Came here today, what a really nice place to shop, it has lots of shops and floors, even though I am not from the area, I will definitely be visiting again 🙂
J. K.
Clean, covid safe with security on doors and inside policing one way system. Nearly all shops open but quiet.
S. B.
It's an okay shopping centre, love that there is a Tiger but lots of empty units too and some shops that just looked tired and close to closing down. Would love to see a good independant cafe/restaurant open up that did good quality food and drink, healthy options like great salads and things.
w. c. b.
Great place lovely staff. Let us know if you have any drainage problems. 👷♂️
A. M. S.
A good little indoor shopping center on two floors. No food stalls other than bakery, plenty of cafes, and eating stands from fish and chips to doughnuts stand. Good security and access from main shopping areas. This center is in the centre of the city,
J. R.
Good range of shops and very modern.
There's even a fish and chip shop - which serves lovely food.
Free ping pong too!
Please note: Mind you dont get conned by the sky sales guys. They promise a deal and then your contract ends up completely different to whatever they initially agreed.
K. M.
Reasonable choice of shops, mainly used for multistorey car parking when visiting Preston
K. C.
Although people were wearing masks it still felt like people were not following social distancing. It felt like they just wanted to get where they were going. There didnt seem to be any staff around. Also didnt see any hand sanitizer near the door but that could just be because I didnt see it.
V. S.
Pleasant shopping centre, well maintained, nicely decorated for Xmas, a costa coffee and krispy kreme on ground floor in the main bullring, nice to walk through, and a decent mix of shops. Could do with more easily accessible toilets as they're on the very top floor and not too well looked after in comparison to the rest of the centre and a bit off-putting to use.
J. F.
Amazing! Loved visiting Preston
W. J.
Always very clean and open. Easy to browse the shops, love this center but really doesn't seem as busy as it once was..online shopping has put an end to that but hopefully ppl with will return like the good owd days
D. M.
Always plenty to do here. Most of my favourite shops are here. The only issue I have is that the public toilets are on the top most floor which can get a bit panicking for me as I have a discomfort with enclosed heights.
R. S.
This is a centrally located shopping centre in the heart of Preston City centre. A wide range of eateries like Burger King is available here with ample parking space. Fashion shops like matalan, new look, and h&m are also available for fashion enthusiasts.
M. E.
Really nice average sized mall. You can use it to cross from Frairgate to Fishergate. Some useful shops with most of the known brands. Nice indoors walk during rain, small food court, costa coffee and Clean WC
W. P.
Came here during the Preston Christmas Lights switch on in November 2017. Very busy great atmosphere shopping complex - with everything you need. Multi storey car park with plenty of spaces. Disabled access friendly.
J. S.
Havnt been for many years so gd to c thriving shopping centre & fishergate high street . Really enjoyed day in my home town. Thanks for memories.
J. H.
Typical uk town centre 'mall', too many national chains and budget stores to make it interesting but still a better mix than nearby Blackpool's Hounds Hill Centre. Generally clean and tidy too.
A. H.
Not a bad shopping centre, various stores here and easy use for toilets. H&m, river island, marks and Spencer’s, game and many others. Several eateries including fast food places.
D. B.
Pleasant clean modern shopping centre, two floors and toilets and mutistoreyparking above. The slight drawback is the access and exit routes from the parking. They have a history of congestion at busy times and care is needed not to go wrong on exit routes which have been altered. One popular mistake gets a ticket for using a bus lane! For this reason I park elsewhere and walk in.
A. N.
Car park is very hard to get to due to access roads and one way systems. Even within the car park, it takes an experienced driver to navigate the bends and also park in the bays at they are really tiny with columns sometimes on one side. Also for the number of shops definitely not worth the trouble.
P. W.
Conducted business satisfactorily, met pleasant staff. Covid precautions adequate.
P. P.
Clean and airy place to visit
F. D. S.
No much to say....lots of closed shops..
A. C.
Pretty decent place with very clean toiles and eating areas
R. M.
Clean and tidy and good mix of shops.
M. C.
Great variety of shops and cafes including a Krispy Kremes; Patisserie Valerie and Costa Coffee.
Stores are quite big and you are guarantee to find something you need. The toilets on the third floor are very clean.
There is an M&S with a large food hall and small home section.
D. M.
Preston's not bad for shopping. Got some good bars too. Black Horse, Vinyl Tap, Twelve Tellers, Wellingtons all very good!
B. B.
Excellent variety of shops, obviously with current restrictions most of the place is shut. Hope to see all the shops open soon.
K. R.
We enjoy a coffee and a shop here when we can make it into the city centre. The disabled facilities could be improved but the shops are good and the atmosphere is Friendly.
d. r.
They are following the right procedures and won't let you in without a mask, I've pretty sure all the shops are still open in there and will kick you out if you are not wearing a mask
B. H.
Lovely clean warm indoor shopping centre. Fully packed with all manner of shops and cafes.
3 separate entrances and a multi level carpark above. It also boasts wc facilities that are immaculate and clean.
J. F. R.
Today I visited St George's Shopping Centre in Preston.
I visited the Costa Coffee cafe and had a cup of Twinnings breakfast tea and a glass of water.
The tea was very nice and the staff were friendly and efficient.
I then visited the gents toilet in the shopping centre which are clean and well maintained toilets.
From there I visited the Superdrug store in St Georges shopping centre from where I purchased some tissues.
6 packets of pocket sized tissues for 99p.
A bargain!
I would recommend a visit to the St George's Shopping Centre in Preston.
J. H.
This shopping centre has many top high street names however there are always empty units. It has a lot of eating places and young fashion stores. Could do with more variety.
A. B.
Great place, so many stores to choose from. Even if you want time to relax, you can go to the all famous Costa! With so many great drinks and foods you'll be spoilt for choice!
R. C. C.
This mall is strategically located in the middle of Fishergate. Enough food outlet and parking. This place is a must
D. H.
Easy to navigate around, plenty of choice for shopping and eating. Favourite cafe is Raffles on the ground floor in the rotunda. All the amenities you can expect to find in a reasonable sized shopping centre.
J. S.
Great little mall. Choice of food. Nice Preston find.
T. E.
Visiting by train from Lancaster to Preston is just fifteen minutes then six to eight minutes walk to St George's it has a good selection of shops and is very accessible with lifts to all floors and plenty of escalators olso plenty of places to eat, it has plenty of entrances and it's easy to get to by car as well the shops range from department stores to small independent shops a great place to shop or just grab a coffee and watch the world go by!
G. A.
Decent shopping centre and very good carpark.
D. S.
It's a good job St George's makes an effort, a few empty stores but it felt pleasant to visit this shopping hub.
m. a.
Good range of shopping with burger king, dunkin donuts and costa coffee inside the atrium along side a couple of independent cafes. Patisserie Valerie at the main entrance is an added bonus.
Parking could be cheaper but its well lit and safe.
B. H.
Parking is a bit tricky - quite tight car park, it was rebuilt a few years back, but simply has limited space and getting out is a pain due to traffic lights and the wonderful new bus lane only system; but it's preferable to Deepdale & once there you have the full high street.
D. M.
very good visit, I might have messed up with the one way system once or twice. all in all its still got pretty much everything open for things you need at Christmas
V. V.
Nice but toilets are very less
P.
Plenty of variety in here. Not many empty properties which is a good sign of a thriving place
S. F.
Realy nice centre shame the toilets are in the stratosphere but the hand wash smelt lovley and the warm water was at a hand friendly temperature... The escalaters... Ossa layers.... Escapolaters... Those things that move while you stand there were a bit scary.. Do I go...dont I go.... Do I go... My escapbobia whent through the roof... Not literally... Just hyoatheticly... Hypothericly... Hyposuctionaly... You no what I mean x
L. W.
Nice place to shop lots of variety and mixture of retailers they hsve put new restrictions in place due to covid but makes you feel safe whilst shopping
C. G.
Bright and busy shopping centre. Car park has annoying pillars and the surface makes your tyres squeal Toilets usually clean and free. Plenty of eating and coffee places and mainly chain shops right in the town centre
J. C.
Some very good shops in here but in order to improve it needs bigger brands to attract people into the town centre and to get people from other areas to come into Preston this place has the potential to be an amazing shopping centre but sadly the quality of shops is preventing the potential revenue this place could generate for the city.
M. C.
Clean, safe and full of everything that you need. Great parking and very quick and easy way to pay. Staff are always helpful.
N. W.
Not much here really. Coming from Lancaster, I think the highlight was HMV, as we haven't had one in years, though that's apparently going to change in the near future. Parking was quite good value, and having a coffee and bite to eat at Costa in the open central location was nice enough.
A. H.
Disabled access is good and they have a couple of lift within the shopping centre.
A. B.
Basic small town shopping centre (or Mall as Americans and anyone in uk under 20 call them). Not many closed units, prerequisite coffee chain, clean, toilets and access direct to covered car park (although with Preston Road system it can take several hours to get in/out of the car park so pack as if you were off on a bank holiday weekend before you feel the urge for a NEXT top, The Works pen set and pack of cards and a latte from Costa bucks)
t. K.
Pretty good shopping centre for a smaller city like Preston. Broad selection of shop types to be found, along with fast food outlets, cafés and the usual amenities like toilets. Also, helpfully connects Fishergate, Friargate and Lune street making it a convenient indoor shopping shortcut.
S. N.
Good selection of shops and stalls. Well lit and very clean. Toilets were also extremely well kept. Better than I remember it from years ago
T. C.
The best thing about St George's is it's a cut through for the main two streets in Preston Centre. This means you can easily access Preston from either side with a pleasant walk through a well kept and busy centre.
The parking is fine, I'm disabled so it took me a while to find a wide bay (because I forgot my blue badge) but there are some wider bays if you look about. I had to wait a while for the lift to bring me back into the centre, that day was a bit problematic as the escalator from the upper floor was off so the lifts were busy.
All the parking payment machines, I believe, are based on the upper level of the centre as this is the floor where the first level of parking is.
I can't remember how much the parking was, but it wasn't ridiculous, otherwise I wouldn't of used it!
There are plenty of high street shops, Superdrug, HMV, Game, Rymans, Yours, Tiger, WH Smith to name a few and the lower floor has eateries and a cafe.
The one thing I found puzzling was the lack of a cash machine in the facility. Granted there are banks all along the high street but if you enter from the Friargate side you've a bit of a walk for cash... (Although as a tip Wilko's on Friargate has a free cash point)
It's a small but well thought out centre with a good selection of shops that compliments the Friargate and Fishergate shopping sides of Preston.
F. S.
Lots of interesting shops. Clean and tidy, seating. Toilets on car park level
Which are usually clean also disabled toilet with Natioal key scheme. Cafe's.
m. R.
Good range of shops.can get very busy
H. Q.
Limited and disappointing is all I can say, I thought Preston would have better to offer but apart from an attractive main street, all the shopping malls are quite small for a city of such renown.
D. F.
It was busy. Probably because it's getting towards crimbo, and people will more then likely be getting their shopping in .
Y. S.
Convenient place to shop. Not a good place to park because of one way system and possibility of being fined on way out foe driving in bus Lane. This happened to 2 family members! It was an expensive outing!
S. M. (.
Good shopping centre more than enough shops to choose from
a. m.
Lovely shopping centre, a bit on the small size compared to other towns but lovely atmosphere with a Costa coffee in the center bottom floor , with the usual wonderful coffee and staff.
S. T.
Been here twice as we've just moved to the area. It has like most shopping centres across the UK some closed down shops
M. P.
A great shopping centre new look, the perfume shop, pandora river island are my favourites from coffee shops to eating outlets like Burger King this place caters for everyone's budget there are toilet facilities which are really clean and a great big car park on top of the shopping centre and plenty of children's clothes shops craft shops toy shops
J.
It's a fairly small mall it's OK but there are better ones.
c. b.
Massive shopping centre.
On two floors.
Plus carparking.
So much choice if shops.
Lots of places to eat.
D. R.
Always clean, good range of shops in there. Almost always park there when nipping into town.
A. Q.
Friendly staff with brilliant, fast and clean PCs
M. K.
This amazing shopping centre has always evolved since I came to Preston 5 years ago. There is always something new and of course relevant. I love St George's and can't wait for the next evolution and addition!
R. H.
St George's Shopping centre is a smaller than average shopping centre with good car parking facilities, toilets, and a café on the ground floor. It tends not to get as busy as Fishergate. My main interest is Wilson's on the ground floor.
L. B.
Lovely shopping centre, loads of shops under one roof, fantastic afternoon xxx
M. F.
Would of rated higher except the security guards discriminated against carers and disabled people here for some reason. Have been forced to leave here whilst trying to assist and help my wife in the changing areas. I would be carefull going here.
M. J.
This is a relatively small shopping centre but has plenty of parking, big names, (tkmaxx, debenhams, sports direct, Argos, primark) plenty of options for eating or coffee and it is a good location for parking and wandering up fishergate where there are more shops on the high street
I. G.
Good shops, but you can see why it's closing down
I. T.
A good range of shops under going a bit of a refit on the lower floor restricting access to Lune Street. May give it back 5th star once reopened access to Lune Street and the new shops opened .
G. R.
We really like this place too.
It benefits from Fishergates car parking structure but we always make the time to go there too. Good selection of shops and always adds to the day.
B. K.
Good shopping centre located in the heart of Preston, large selection of usual high street retailers, kept very clean and is usually never too busy, lovely atmosphere inside and is nice and warm, lots of nice places to stop and have a coffee and a bit to eat too!
M. H.
Good selection of shops. Good toilet facilities
L. P.
Varieties of shops allow for a great day out with friends or family or self shopping. Great places to eat, shop and have fun with the new ping pong area near Costa on the ground floor
N. '. J.
Security is very strict keeping everyone to left hand side etc. Nice and clean and tidy. Will be visiting again at some point.
C. M.
Good shopping center, most shops have managed to stay open and it is very clean. There is no stand out WOW features but a good experience non the less
J. D.
It's got an HMV, and that's why I went there! It's got all the usual stores and boutiques, but how nice to browse and buy in HMV instead of Amazon etc - and HMV prices are often better, too.
P. M.
Only used the carpark, and seemed to be the only car due to Covid-19 second lockdown. Plenty space, just no shops open.
C. M.
In parts it was great but sometimes looked a little tired.
j. h.
Handy position town centre. ..large carpark. .good prices. .nice shops. You can pick up everything for a night out or romantic night in. Highly recommend.
P. U.
Easy to shop good selection of shops they could have left some seating as its a hard job walking round and not being able to have a rest especially with a bad back
V. P.
We’ve been coming here quite a few years and always enjoyed a coffee at Costa. Today our coffee was spoilt by the obnoxious fish smell coming from oceans fish and chip shop. is this a good idea???
b. r.
The shopping centre is going down in my estimation it used to be fine but I think it is suffering like all the shops in Preston. The university seems to be taking over only thing shops are interested in are students.
R. P.
This shopping centre was built in the 70's with no roof, had a roof added in the 80's, had major reconstruction work in the 90's and more reconstruction work in the 00's. What we have now is an interesting 2 level shopping centre with some good multiple retailers and some good independents. Multiples include H & M, New Look, Marks and Spencer and WH Smith, whilst the independents include several jewellers, The Original Art Shop, an excellent art gallery that has been there for years and stocks a wide range of contemporary art, with a framing service, Wilkinsons Cameras. A lot of building work at the moment with new shops due from The Entertainer, Valeries Patisserie and Tiger. Overall, a good small city shopping centre with a good range of shops and also a very good range of cafes - Krispy Kreme mmmmmm.
L. B.
Great public toilets free to use.
Very clean
m. w.
Its good shopping centre and toilets are very clean and tidy i think best in the uk 😊😊😊😊😊
K. S.
Have always liked this shopping centre plus it's enclosed so when it is bad weather you can have a good look around. When you want a sit down on the ground floor in the centre you have a few cafe's and eateries
A.
Good shops, security are a bit stare-y tho
s. b.
It's okay, but needs a better range of shops now.
J. D.
RUBBISH and Preston Town centre in general is dreadful!... the lack of signage to direct you to the car park is ridiculous!
C. B.
Nice food good coffee but since the refurb waiting times are far too long and the staff are running round like rabbits think more are needed
A. S.
Nice centre good car park, great shops, disabled facilities, elevators, rest room, ground floor car park for disabled, escalators and lots more.
N. B.
Plenty of places to shop for clothes and shoes. There are lots of cafes/coffee shops to grab a quick bite to eat. Free WiFi throughout the shopping centre.
C. E.
Clean and nice atmosphere. A lot of empty premises though. Preston council need to bring the business rates down and support local sellers!
I. K.
Body shop so pleasant and very helpful.went out their way to help me with my gifts.even through in discount
C. T.
Large shopping centre in middle of Preston. Has all the amenities you would expect. Car park can be a nightmare to get out of but that is more the councils fault than the shopping centre
D. H.
Very good
M. O.
Brilliant place, everything under one roof. Parking is excellent too. First time we went, recommend to anyone. Found a brilliant cafe too
a.
Easy to get lost. A bald fellow who was a worker there pushed past me and never said sorry
C. F.
A good mixture of stores unfortunately there are a lot of empty units at the Lune Street entrance which looks like work is being carried out for new business opportunities
R. R.
Had to wear a mask to go in but the cafe inside everyone sat without mask and no one did the track and ttace while I was there and it was not encouraged by the cafe staff
M. H.
Missing a lot of shops.
E. J.
Nice environment. Has many good shops.
L. H.
Love it for hair cut quick coffee and trip to opticians. Nip in to HIM and crispy creme on the way out. Parking much better now!
R. M.
It's nice
M. H.
Local shopping precinct in the centre of Preston
D. J.
Good range of stores, generally clean and tidy with the exception of Costa Coffee on the ground floor. The kitchen area is dirty and there are frequently flies around the area.
A. N.
Lovely place very clean nice shops
J. C.
The best shopping centre in town, wide variety of stores!
W. S.
A great place to shop with a large variety. It has lots to offer everyone. It is also surrounded with a high street of stores and another shopping center. However parking is expensive although very convenient.
M.
Has some good stores, laid out very well, escalators and lifts to the other floors, entrances and exits on both sides so you can access the high street if you need.
S. H.
Car park very very busy today, quite a while waiting for lifts from top floor. All staff in the shops were very warm and welcoming
A. P.
Plenty of shops, great to have Matalan now too. Shame about the smell from the fish and chip shop being delicious but distracting while shopping.
T. C.
Brilliant , Excellent , But men's toilet needs higher standards and the whole complex needs another floor and why does lune st side always fail needs better themed shops and more seating !!!
S. G.
Very friendly security guard on hand to fix the peppa pig machine just for my daughter.cleqn and plenty of room to walk around.
N. W.
Nice clean place plenty of shops.plenty of variety.
P. S.
Good shopping venue..all the big names, nice and central in the town..will visit again.
r.
Loads of options for food and coffee, better upkeep than Fishergate! Great shops like Pandora and body shop, abundant clothed and shoe shops. Lively and inviting
d. f.
Very clean a d tidy with lots of unique shops aswell as big retailers
C. B.
Good range of shops to look at and a few eating places. Always looks clean and tidy, friendly staff around to help when needed.
A. D.
Great place to shop, but seems to lack shops😕.
M. R.
Love it. Fab range of shops.
D. C.
Large shopping centre but on the decline. Number of shops have opened and closed in just one year span. The shops can't compete with online prices and the council won't reduce the rates so they can stay open.
B. H.
Brilliant shopping centre, has toilets, food court, tons of shops, absolutely loads and loads of stuff, and its own multi-story car park.
s.
Amazing, has a wide range of shops for food, clothes, furniture, etc. Really good place, and it also has free WiFi ;)
O. T.
Nice shopping complex with a range of stores, includes car parking although I haven't parked here in a while so I wouldn't know if the prices were reasonable...
B. K.
Preston's main shopping centre in the heart of the city centre with a variety of shops and eateries over two floors with the third floor being the toilets and access to the multi storey car park but that's not to say that's the only shopping centre in Preston there's also St John's near the Bus Station and Fishergate Centre which host a variety of shops and eateries which is by the Train Station coming in to Preston
S. H.
Ok for shopping, could do with a big department store in there. M and S fairly decent, wife liked it. I’m new to Preston so just finding my way around.
J. O.
Has so many stores in there
A. D.
A somewhat large shopping centre directly in the centre of Preston. There are plenty of shops within this centre including Superdrug, Game, H&M and Tiger. There is also on site parking and several food outlets in the middle of the centre.
G. R.
Glad to see so many shop's still open, ONLY saw one or two units closed.
N. B.
Very big shopping centre find everything
C. B.
Love this place very clean good selection off shops safe
M. L.

h.
Great to see St Georges open again. Very clean toilets were spotless, friendly staff and conscientious cleaners..
M.
Good selection of shops, plenty of eateries to stop for a bite or drink. Car parking available and toilets 🚻. And caters for all abilities.
A. N.
Nice place 😊 lots of shops to look at you should visit
C. S.
Has everything I need good places to grab a coffee, good fashion shopping and jewellery choices and now HMV has a store here could do with more children's clothing shops but what is on offer is good
r. A.
decent little shopping centre good selection of shops. It has got it's own car park bit tight in places power steering is a must.
E. B.
Good size shopping centre with some good shops and food concessions. Good disabled parking in centres own car park and decent accessible toilets.
U. B.
Staff are very nice especially that big tall lad with the glasses on so helpful
M. W.
Great, I mean for Lockdown not much but has plenty to offer.
L.
Nice place not many shops
B. B.
Good Costa in the centre, and has a choice of places to eat. Poor free WiFi hard to log on keeps saying unable to obtain a IP address.
D. A.
Way to busy and not much to do or see, if you go out on a day trip with kids it's a nightmare fighting with the lifts there
G. C.
Pretty average shopping centre. Good place to go when it's raining. As usual, like all Malls and Shopping Centres, too expensive.
B. G.
I like St. George's Shopping Centre. Good shops. It is hard to park in town. I would come more often if the car parks were cheaper
A. A.
Nice cosy atmosphere
A. S.
Good range of shops, I was at the student shopfest 2017 and have done all the previous ones too and it is always a good event
T. E.
Busy nice atmosphere, but few things to do. Not much variety in the types of shops.
C. C.
Nice place with shops. Easy to access.
d. b.
Lots of shop, cafe to visit and look great place to shop and meet up with family and friends for coffee and more.
A. R.
Really nice shopping centre with interesting shops that you don't always see such as: Kenji, Tiger and Smiggle. For anyone looking to do a more eclectic shop for a good price.
J. W.
A little dated. Easy to find the stores you want to shop. Clean and covid safe.
I. D.
This is my local shopping centre and a place I hardly use due to online explosion of online shopping. Seems very small when you prefer the Trafford centre and the Bull Ring.
R. K.
It's average alot of shops shut.
I. M.
Nice place, lot's of variety
G. T.
Good place to shop....really good range of shops and places to eat...it mainly has everything you need...well recommended for a visit...!

J. E. G.
Excellent local shopping area, plenty of coffee bars/cafes.variety of shops/stores,easy access to and from with bus/road routes.prestonians have a centre to be proud of.
M. H.
It's ok. Nothing special. Out of the rain. Car park is appalling, too tight for anything other than a Smart car.
k. “. R. R.
Well maintained stores. Plenty of parking.
R. A.
Nicely set out and easy to walk around
B. H.
A good, light and airy shopping centre with a good choice of shops and unlike some, not too many empty units. Great location too.
A. P.
So many great shops! Just wish that it would be less focused on corporate financial gains and more on serving the community.
J. F.
Here every day due to work.
Great place apart from the bull stinks due to an indoor fish and chip shop.
So the "Place" (fish pun) stink of salt and vinegar
D. P.
It's got some good shops, but missing a lot, especially really good places to eat
T. H.
Nice with lots of choices of shops.
V. C.
Very central giving access to each end of the city centre. Provides safe parking. Variety of shops within.
P. P.
The Car park could do with better signage
No obvious signes pointing to the exit as specially from the lower levels but the overall centre no problem
J. P.
Good friendly service and convenient parking at a decent price very impressive
S. S. (. w.
Big place not somewhere I go often due to being packed with ppl I don't like crowds but if you do go for it you can shop till you drop. Parking too
L. R.
Pleasant surroundings with ample parking. Reasonable variety of shops on two levels with car park access from the centre
M. A.
There's a lot to see and a lot to experience for all ages, with great accessability throughout and public transport links...leave the car at home.
S. B.
An indoor shopping area with a range of different shop,s from budget clothing to high end jewellery.
J. C.
Love this Mall, I always go week days because there is less people.
A. V.
Lovely place. My first time there. Great choice of stores. Also i love the layout of the space too.
R. S.
Very well organised during this uncertain time, staff fully masked up and keeping an eye on everything.
P. C.
Light and airy shopping centre. Good range of shops. Not keen on the car park though, easier to park elsewhere and walk!
C. G.
Quality shopping arcade at the heart of Preston
K. W.
Good shops, good space, the bottom side near the line street entrance could do will improvement.
H. R.
Wondrous place to go, has several cafes. Has a great fruit and veg store, good quality and good cheap prices per punnet and per bag!
B. R.
Went for the student night, the music was good and the discounts were good. Last time they were giving out free shots and I miss that 😕
E. M.
Very well kept and good assortment of shops. The Vape Kiosk and Desmond behind the counter were great!
M. R.
Easy to get to Mall with the usual variety of retailer's shops and lovely Cafe's. Car park little confusing but plenty of spaces.
X. E.

J. C.
Well managed small centre. Shops full. Nice surroundings. Good cafe. Clean toilets. Very good.

C. C.
Great shopping experience
