Used to make a walk every Thursday morning. There is a small farmers market. Grapes and strawberries were my favorites. Also with Lidl and Saintsbury's for the grocery. The Indian shop was the go to for curry leaves and grated fresh coconut 🥥

the precinct is fine , I would like the council to spend a bit more effort to keep it cleaner I find that the place is dirty and covered in litter , a clean up weekly or daily would be a lot healthier than now and again they have a market on Thursdays and itis a meeting place for many, also I think the shops could do there bit to clean up a good pressure wash would give the place a good face lift, , Shipshape, and Bristol fashion

I don't know what to say other than its Shirley 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean it's not overly clean and there are a few odd people hanging around lol but it's Shirley 😂 you go because you have to not because you really want to 😅 if you don't have to touch it, I'd suggest you don't and you should be alright. Nice variety of shops but too small for the market in my opinion as not much room to manoeuvre around.

Depends what you looking hardly any nee clough's stores. peakcocks newlook for a small one at top end . Forget name that's about it.. Lots charity shops a few bars.. cash converters sainsbury's. Vape stores... etc 2 poundland. 1 is rubbish sainsbury's end. The 1 near cash converters is good.. big store.

Not a huge variety of high street shops. Good greengrocers and more hairdressers, charity shops and barbers than you can shake a stick at. Also an excellent hardware shop at the far end of the High Street.

Went to collect a parcel that was to big to be delivered and had no other option but to go get it! 🙄..went for a little stroll before picking it up and did some window shopping as its the best we can do lately! Plenty of shops around that are open, wasn't to busy down Shirley and on Thursdays there's a market in the precinct! No waiting around in line for most of the shops, parking space around the corner! Disabled friendly for the shops to! Masks for the shops before entering. 😁

So many different shops close by! You can buy some vitamins at H&B, some pre-loved clothes at the charity shops, something to pamper yourself at Boots, maybe some new glasses at Specsavers and so on... A good area for shopping.

Seriously guys get your backsides here on Market Thursdays! They've got batteries in sizes you never knew existed, top quality shoes for both a night on the tiles or a trip to court and the selection of wolf fleeces is the best I've ever seen. Despite the lack of teeth and aversion to washing, I found the locals to be very charming and helpful.

It's ashame that there's a vacant shop, Bon Mache & Peacock clothes shops are closing down, I have purchased items from these shops either for myself or for gifts. However, I do use Sainsbury's most days as it's on bus route for my shopping & the membership of staff are always very professional.

A busy town. Full of life... Local shops to suit the majority of people. Driving can be a problem in rush hour... Good public transport.. Close to the m27 motorway.

The small Precinct is located within the Sainsburys store witch has a free car park, the store has toilet facilitys for Mothers/ baby room and disabled restrictions. The Precinct is at thelower part of Shirley Highstreet....Nearly every thing you may need or looking for in one long shopping street. As most shopping centres close down Shirley just keeps bouncing back with so much to see. This busy street never seems to sleep and before Covid - 19 was and still is the location to shop between supermarkets and small food retail shops with a major bus lane connecting you to the City Centre/ train station or to the General Hospital.

This shop is actually in Totton, have used the shop before. The staff are very helpful also very nice people. Had my keys cut here, never had a problem with them worked first time. I Would highly recommend them.

It is synonymous with Shirley. The precinct is a multi use space that has a market on Thursdays. A relatively clean and open space is a welcome sight and a landmark for bus rides through the high street.
