Reviews of The Parade

Not as bad as many say. Hopefully high petrol prices will make those who shop out of town think twice and support Swindon. Nice market Thursday and Saturday

1985 this was a bustling street with old firms and.then it was developed and then like brunel centre/ bridge street area it has not become a must visit place.
Happily the council are now realising that old things should be left alone.
Thursday a street market had now come back.
Why the town has not got a permanent indoor market like Oxford i will never know
Bring one back...and in the town centre....even if they have to build one.!!

It seems The Parade is (one of) the center of the town there. Besides a variety of shops it leads to railway and bus station and the theater...I have not studied clearly. It worth to spend some time to read the map posted there.

They should work until 10pm on Saturdays. Clean better and try to bring more stores and brands. I believe they even have a great potential for entertainment.

Areas of good shopping with typical high street losses. Good meal in the noodle bar at the crossing. Great food and couldn't finish all mine.

I was passing by Schuh and saw nice Lacoste flipflops on sale for £20. Would have bought them but haden't the Money on me at the time.

There's too many buildings with "For Sale or To Let" signs on. It's been like this for a LONG time and frankly, it's depressing. I was told that the rents and business rates were too high. I'm not an economist so I don't know how to get over this problem, but it needs to be sorted out soon because Swindon is already looking a bit like a 'ghost' town. Also, why on earth are there SO many barbers and hairdressing salons? Surely people aren't that unkempt to the extreme of needing umpteen hairdressers?!

Recommend Second Cup coffee shop as they go out of their way to move tables and enable wheelchair users and the less able to stay and chat. They also bring drinks to you outside.

It's a shame to see the empty shops but the ones that are open are nice. Is all kept clean, lots of pubs

Swindon shopping centre has loads to offer and is a clean tidy town. Iceland, poundland, onebelow, boots, charity shops, costa, savers, wilko, tesco, poundstretcher, hmv, h samuel, pandora, 222 coffee, entertainer toy shop, card factory, McDonald's subway, lush, Gregg's,
