Lovely friendly staff, fantastic service, Alex was professional and very understanding. My mum who is 80 has struggled to hear for many years even with 2 hearing aids (purchased elsewhere), making her feel very isolated. You can tell that this is a family owned business because they go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. When I had my new hearing aids fitted, Alex took me for a walk around town to see if all the volumes were right in the sort of environment that they would be used. Any information that I required afterwards was very promptly dealt with via email within an hour. I am very impressed with Worcester Hearing Centre. From the minute you arrive you receive excellent friendly service from everyone. Your Audiologist gives you an in depth hearing test and upon the results discusses with you the most suitable hearing aid for you. Everything is well explained and nothing is too much trouble. My hearing had reduced to a low level over a period of time and with the onset of the Covid-19 restrictions and the use of face masks I had become withdrawn from the conversations in work especially at the workplace. During a round of redundancy at my workplace I was selected and on reading the reasons most revolved about communication and confidence (or lack of). I needed to get something done sharpish! My wife had previously used the Worcester Hearing Centre for a wax removal, finding them efficient and reasonably priced so I made an appointment. The audiometer checks were more thorough than any of my previous ones, including trying to identify sentences with different levels of background noise, the first two were okay, the later ones were nigh-on impossible to make out - that was what I had been living with for a few years - avoiding social situations as I couldn’t hear what was going on. Talking to Alex was good, he took a detailed history and we discussed what my requirements were and what his recommendations were. We settled on the Oticon More1, certainly not cheap but met all my needs and with a long support period from WS Hearing. I tried them and Alex started to tune them for my ears. We then had a “normal” conversation despite the face mask. I heard everything and it was easy, no having to turn my head to use my “best ear” and even more that I wasn’t having to concentrate on listening. I reluctantly handed them back at the end of the consultation On my next visit I got MY own hearing aids, some time tailoring them to fit and then out in the wide world, traffic was louder than I remembered! Conversation heard despite the background noise. Home that night, turned the tv down, had I really listened to it that loud, sorry love! When she went to bed I turned it down a bit more! Family and friends have noticed that I am out of my shell that I had retreated into due to the loss of hearing. I have more confidence than I have had in a long time, had a couple of face-to-face interviews and talked and listened easily. I have had several follow-up appointments with Alex, minor tweaks and chatted freely. The service has been outstanding, I really can’t thank them enough. If you find yourself withdrawing from conversations or social situations due to reduced level of hearing get it sorted sooner rather than later, it really is a life-changer and if you live within the Worcester or Stratford areas I heartily recommend WSHearing - thanks Alex and the ladies behind the scenes!

What a fabulous place, I called in some discomfort with my ears. The receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable and fitted me in the next day. I have visited Worcester Hearing Centre twice now and both times I have received excellent service. My welcome was warm and the reception area is very accommodating. I wasn't made to wait long at all and was soon invited through to begin my treatment. The ear wax removal process is completely painless and extremely effective! I was amazed and slightly embarrassed by what was removed from my ears. However, Tom made me feel at ease, was very informative and offered great advice about caring for my ears and hearing. The service I get is both highly professional and very friendly - you get offered coffee and biscuits when you arrive! Once I'd had the initial hearing test and paid for the hearing-aids (4½ years ago), I have been given regular appointments, now every 6 months, where my hearing is checked and the hearing-aids serviced. On occasions, when something seemed to have gone wrong with the hearing-aids, I've dropped into the shop and within a few minutes someone has sorted the problem. And all this follow-up is free, part of what you pay for when you make the initial payment for the hearing-aids. Excellent service, consistently reliable and helpful; and they always know who I am!

Having struggled for several years to clearly hear, particularly when in a large gathering, I finally decided to do something about it. I contacted the Worcester Hearing Centre and following several consultations with Tom we decided to look at Lyric as the solution as this would give me the best quality sound and be fully invisible. Following a months no obligation trial I was amazed at how quickly I had got used to them, (as they are fully in ear), but more importantly how I could suddenly hear what people were saying in a noisy social environment and in meetings, where previously I would have missed parts of the conversation or had to continually ask people to repeat themselves, I no longer have this issue. I have now been using Lyric for the last 12 months and can genuinely say they are worth every penny. The service I have received from everyone at Worcester Hearing has been fantastic and on the odd occasion I have had an issue with one of the devices Tom and the team have always fitted me in to get it resolved. When they say call us anytime they genuinely mean it, a great team. I have no hesitation in recommending Worcester Hearing Centre.

I've worn hearing aids most of my life and used several different hearing aid suppliers. When the Worcester Hearing Centre first opened I went along a few times and was so impressed with the customer care, concern and determination Tom showed to maximise my hearing in my work environment (teaching) I quickly realised I had found my supplier for life. Having had problems with having my ears syringed previously at my GP surgery I researched an alternative and found the Worcester Hearing Centre, saw the positive reviews and booked an appointment for micro suction wax removal. On examination I was told that my ear canals have an odd bend and that was the reason syringing had not only been ineffective but also an unpleasant experience. The procedure using micro suction was painless, quick, with none of the previous unpleasant dizziness and very effective. Two years on my ears are still clear. I do occasionally use olive oil to prevent any wax building up and won't hesitate to return to Worcester Hearing Centre should I have any problem.

Expensive. You can get your hearing-aids elsewhere significantly cheaper. You will not however get better service anywhere. You get what you pay for, and in my opinion Worcester Hearing Centre are the best. I decided a couple of years ago that I was going to finally go no-expense-spared on my hearing after a lifetime of deafness and NHS aids and other private providers. It has changed my life. I was born 50% deaf. I consider myself an experienced deaf-person and hearing-aid user. I had the clunky hearing-aid-in-a-pouch back in the 60s! My hearing is the best it has ever been in my 57 years of life! Social occasions are a joy rather than a semi-dreaded event.The quality of sound as I put my super-tech Phonak Virtos in every morning always makes me grin. Yes, to put it in context, of course the technology has finally caught up; even the best hearing-aid providers could only have given you decidely-ropey products 20 years ago, so any provider by definition currently has better tools to work with/better products to sell. But Tom and the team appear to genuinely care about their customers. Every time I set foot in the shop, Tom addresses me by name and I have only been in a handful of times!! The service is VIP level. They serve you coffee while you wait!! When my aids have required servicing/attention I have been amazed by the quick turn-around and level of attention I have received. Tom appears to have up-to-date knowledge of the latest hearing-aid technology and appears to me to even be offering major manufacturers feedback about consumer needs too; his level of attention appears to actually be helping hearing aid manufacturers improve the tech!! So in summary, if you want cheap, go elsewhere. but if you want the best, with the best follow-up and A-1 service, go Worcester Hearing Centre. Vinnie/Keith

Life changing is the only way I can describe my experience with the team at Worcester Hearing Centre .Having struggled with NHS hearing aids for a few years to no avail and having people visit my home trying to sell me hearing aid with very little after care by unknown people, it was with trepidation that I called the centre. From the very first telephone call, through the consultation, to the fitting of my hearing aids and the follow up reviews I am treated with respect in a very warm, welcoming way by a team of very professional people who make great coffee. When I went for a hearing test just three months ago I knew that my hearing wasn't what it should be. I struggled to hear conversations if there was background noise and I had suffered with tinnitus for many years. Tom gave me a very thorough hearing test and took time to explain the results and answer all of my many questions. I will never forget the day my hearing aids were fitted. It was a revelation! I had forgotten what it was like to hear properly. Traffic noise was louder but so too was bird song - what a delight. The tinnitus, while not cured, is much quieter and no longer troubles me. Visiting Worcester Hearing Centre was the best thing I could have done. I wear my hearing aids all day, every day and once in I can forget them. Putting them in each morning is as much part of my routine as cleaning my teeth. I have had regular check ups where I have been guided through each stage and know that I can always contact Tom by 'phone or e-mail at any time if I have a problem although this hasn't been necessary. Thank you Tom for making me feel 'connected' to the world again.

5 stars all around! I came to Worcester hearing centre after suffering from sudden hearing loss in my right ear due to a build up of wax. Instead of going to the doctor's and being told what I already knew, I decided to try out the hearing centre. Well, I cannot fault the service! I rang up and they booked my in to have my ears cleared the following day. On arrival I was offered drinks and biscuits and the lovely lady who cleared my ears examined them and the procedure was quick and painless. I was able to hear again in no time!! Loosing my hearing really made me anxious as I felt off balance and didn't want to leave, however, I left the clinic feeling myself and confident again! £40 well spent! Will definitely be returning if needed again. Thank you!!

Tom's attention to detail is second to none and after testing my hearing he explained in detail the problems I have with my hearing. We discussed in full the the way forward for my hearing correction and I am delighted with my new hearing aids, as I now have hearing that is the closest to natural hearing that you could get using hearing aids. The difference between my old hearing aids that were only 18 months old and the new ones is indescribable and has opened a new world to me. I found Tom Dixon warm, welcoming and very thorough and professional in his investigation into my hearing problems. He let me have a week-long trial with a hearing aid, and it proved invaluable. He has since fitted me with my own hearing aid, and I am amazed at the difference it has made to my quality of life. Hearing all parts of speech was a problem, especially in crowded situations, and I always relied on lip-reading. Now I hear everything and cannot believe the difference this has made to me, including my confidence in social situations. The follow-up care is great, providing lots of opportunities to fine-tune the hearing aid’s settings. I can’t thank Tom enough for all he has done. I have been very deaf since birth and have had numerous hearing aids over the years some NHS ones and I have used two Independent Hearing Aid Specialist over 40 years, the last one was in London. I could not go to London any more as the journey was too much for me. I then searched the Internet for a firm that was near me and found the Worcester Hearing Centre and arranged to meet Tom Dixon. To my surprise I had a very warm welcome there and they were very thorough in checking the amount of my remaining hearing and fitting up the new Aids. The trouble taken meant a great deal to me as you felt you were not hurried and were able to listen and check. Tom and Victoria were very helpful when I went back for checking or a fault developed in the aid which was dealt with. The service given I could not fault not only that they were far superior in their service than the two Independent ones I had before I met Tom and Victoria. I am now having a new set from them and they have been extremely reasonable in pricing being an existing customer. In my view they are the right people to go to and I have one regret that I had not seen them sooner. Incidentally coffee and biscuits are available!! I should have adderd that I have had demostration aids and they have been invaluable help to me and I realize this is a big advantage as one can listen to everything one wants to check.

Have worn a National Health hearing aid for several years and found that the original prescribed benefits diminished rapidly with my further age/declining hearing, (and with no prospect of upgrading), the products displayed at Worcester Hearing Centre looked to be of a higher quality, less obvious and more suited to lifestyle. This indeed has proved to be the case. A casual ‘walk-in’ enquiry gave me all the necessary information to give me confidence in order to book a full consultation with a comprehensive analysis and discussion of what would best suit my needs. After a short wait whilst my my new device was delivered, it was then expertly fitted and custom-tuned to my requirements. After an adaption period (during which I made observations and took notes) a further consultation took place and the device was slightly ‘re-tuned’ in order that the programming was at its best for my circumstances. Again there was a short period of adjustment to be got used to, this then was further reviewed and and we are now in the the 6 month phase of acclimatisation. At all stages I was fully involved and all questions asked were comprehensively answered. This exercise has proved to be most beneficial, the new level of coherent hearing is vastly improved and this has made me far more confident and able to enjoy TV and radio again, and also participate in more challenging social situations (of course, there are limits), but overall my quality of life has improved and therefore the outlay can be seen to be modest, given the return. I had been using NHS digital hearing aids for a couple of years and found them very helpful. When the Starkey hearing aids for iPhone became available I was curious to try them - particularly for streaming music direct from my iPhone to the hearing aids. I found Tom to be extremely helpful, very professional - not at all pushy. The Starkey Halo2 hearing aids have proved capable of improving my overall hearing experience in ways I could not have envisaged. The Music programme is very good and being able to listen without having to swap earphones for hearing aids, and without any wiring, is wonderful. It's great to know that I will have Tom's professional support well into the future.

Having realised that I was sub-consciously not joining in group conversations because I could not always hear what people were saying, I decided that this was the time for a hearing test. Tom conducted a thorough test and determined that I had "age related high frequency hearing loss". The Phonak aids (I prefer to call them "comms) arrived within a matter of days. Once fitted and programmed to my needs, there followed a series of follow-up visits where the comms were fine tuned to cope with various situations that occured in my day to day life. The supply of a remote control to carry out an overall volume adjustment should I find myself in a particularly uncomfortable noisy situation (think high pitched children's voices playing in the garden) is very useful. The care and attention with which I am treated by Tom Dixon and his staff at the Worcester Hearing Centre is superb and the fact that I now have had my hearing returned to me is very gratifying. Thank you all.
