I only went because my partner wanted TK MAX, nice part of town with some interesting looking eateries and a nice art gallery. Looks a bit sad with Beales gone but there are new places popping up so has some promise there.

A brilliant shopping centre with such a wide choice of shops. Centre is well run, looks clean and tidy.

Difficult to know how to rate this place as it feels the prime purpose is to link the High Street Multistory carpark with the town centre. And this, it does well. Othwewise, the place feels unloved, and other than a few specialty shops, nothing exciting. Oh, but it does partly house a large Wilco, which depressingly, is probably the highlight!

We were looking for a particular stall on market day which sadly was not there this year. Other shops weren't of interest for us.

It's coming back alive again now after covid and Beales closing. A few all nice Independant shops selling different tjings along with a few bigger names. I was under the impression that it was going to be redeveloped soon from things I have heard living locally.

I think the pandemic has hit this place hard, there are some shops empty and the general atmosphere isn't very inviting. I think trying to promote locals to open business in the shopping centre could lighting up the place a bit more. They have everything they need, step free access, clean facilities, easy access from the old town, parking. Everything is there.

Looking a bit run down I've lived in worthing all of my 66yrs and the town is dying

Worthing as a town has great potential, and needless of repetition needs regeneration. West Sussex County Council, Central Government, Developers, Investors, and the business community at large, should be very busy working towards this goal to recreate general public confidence. Comments on individual shops can only be complementary in view of recent restrictions that have now been lifted. The last two years have been tough. Montague Street, Worthing principal trading thoroughfare, and its continuation into Rowlands Road in themselves each need an uplift among others. Charity shops serve a purpose but also degenerate and disrupt principal trading activity. Plans of Teville Gate being regenerated can only be welcome. Finally, Worthing needs a quality hotel to become a landmark on its map if only local hoteliers would permit it!

Another underutilized shopping area in Worthing More independent shops have opened here. It's where you will find MC Donald's and hmv Could do with some benches added and maybe some flower pots

Its a covered pedestrian walkway with some shops.. It's well maintained and seems clean enough. It's a great cut through to town. Sometimes there are street merchants selling food as well.

This mall/parade has the potential for so much more. The current landlord have taken a very short-term outlook for financial gain in my opinion, the lack of any attempt to mitigate the appearance of empty units. The poor lighting and litter compound the appearance of decline.

This shopping area is doing its best to fight back, but the abandoned Beales isn't helping. Give it a try. There's HMV, TK Max, Game and a couple of overpriced art shops. It's worth a look.

Always a pleasure to shops here. However, the market stalls that have recently set up, have narrowed the walkway a bit. This creates a bottleneck by McDonald's. But it's a small setback.

Love this section of the town. It's got a load of great shops and a big HMV which is good to see. Though they charge far to much these days for vinyl. Expect a few homeless and street artists doing things around the area. Try to dodge the annoying companies trying to chase you down the road with a clipboard. Its pretty nice though and has everything you need. Well I need. Enjoy.

In fact, I would recommend you to visit Montague Gallery at this shopping centre. As I can not find this shop from Google Map and therefore I can only write comment on this shopping centre. This shop is full of beautiful artworks and I really enjoy the visit there. If you like to buy some artwork decoration for your home, then you must have a visit before you make a final decision.

I like the independent shops but the floor is dirty and full of litter. Shop owners show sweep and wash the outside if their shops to improve the environment.

This a nice part of Worthing town centre but not sure what will happen when Beales closes down. Also, Montague centre could do with another restaurant or coffee shop. How about Pret in Laura Ashley old shop.

There are fewer and fewer shops in this area now. Parking is expensive in the town centre and therefore it is becoming dearer to not only park but to buy things. Due to the reduction in shops it is also harder to actually find what you want so slowly but surely customers are forced to do on line shopping. Apart from the odd few shops this area either has food establishments or empty premises.

What’s here is absolutely fantastic, McDonald’s, hmv, game and tkmaxx! The place needs a facelift tho, and definitely some more national retailers instead of bloody art galleries!! It’s a shopping centre not a gallery!

Don't know why it be designated the Montague quarter it's a cut through Lane which was glassed over about 30 years ago and actually it's the back of the shops that face into it. It has become a place for homeless people to shelter from the adverse weather. Doubtless it will change considerably in the next 5 years due to the closure of Beals department store and the redevelopment of the area

The Montague Gallery is opening next week. As an uplifting use of one of the empty shops. On 31st October for 8 weeks . Showcasing the work of 33 talented artists in the lead up to xmas there will be original local paintings, prints, photography jewellery, ceramics and textiles to #buylocal. Support this enterprise to keep it going folks !
