Reviews of Clifton Moor Retail Park
Z. A.
It s easy to shop everything you possibly need from furniture to plant or building material. However, in my opinion accessibility/ road connections to shops are not designed well. I live in the area, no short cuts if you want to walk to the stores. Five minutes on foot takes 20 min. Because of no walking routes
B. L.
Great selection of shops and food places. You will find everything you need from clothes, to craft items to furniture. Most shops are open late till 8pm which is handy. Very similar to Monks Cross which is just 10 minutes up the road.
B. G.
If you have to leave your car for a service and walk over to the shops like I did and your car takes a few hours to be serviced not a lot to see unless you're into furniture or a home store or a supermarket. Not a place I would recommend visiting. Monks X a far better place
N. “. J.
Its a retail park, parking is a bit tight. Shops that are there are clean, staff helpful.
Need more seat outside the stores for us poor husbands waiting outside whilst the other half goes browsing.
L. W.
Love this place however when I go i end up being there for hours! Brilliant range of stores on site.
S. M.
I visited Pets@home. The staff are amazing with fantastic knowledge. Great range of all pet items. Always find what I'm looking for.
D. H.
Good retail park, plenty to offer, has a Greggs but it will be better once Burger King opens again
D. B.
Has a good range of shops but going and getting out .Who designed the Haxby
Section of road Google Maps should rename it? Clean Answers on a post card
H. C.
Very good shopping day git bargains at Dunelm znd Tesco
s. w.
Lots shops, bargains tesco clothing range big here , all Lound home bargains , big stores in the area for that yorkshire bargain . Also not far from monks cross , again with shops like primark , next new look , big asda tk max ,etc ,, great for shops all in once place . Wheel chair friendly . So grab that bargain for the home , or new outfit , something for kids , even hubby . Shop yourselves out . Lots parking friendly staff .
P. G.
Lots of places to shop. Tesco, bm store, smythes, b&q, mc Donald's, petrol station and much more.
g. h.
What can you say, needs more variety otherwise good selection of stores, lacks facilities of its own toilets etc .very spread out ,could do with a direct traffic light route from one section to the other ,very inadequate road system, hate the speed bumps, there are other ways of preventing damaging to your car.
C. B. (. C. B.
Great assortment of big stores with loads of parking. All the big names you need to decorate your home and then some.
A. J.
Good range of shops etc from Tesco extra to Garage showrooms.
Spoilt by main access road A1237 which can be very congested.
A. H.
I always enjoy visiting York and particularly Clifton Moor. Plenty of parking, plenty of shops, activities and food establishments.
W. D.
Loads of shops to choose from. Hardware, groceries, garden, computing, vue cinema, music and many more!
Loads of spaces for parking.
only downside is the ring road it's joined too can get very busy at tea time and can be very long ques in both directions.
Z. “. R.
Was OK good choice off shops but not food places .
K. B.
Plenty of different shops, could be better for people walking as some of the roads difficult to cross.
A. B.
Decent shopping complex, granted only used the Tesco's, home bargains and one or two other shops but no bother happy days
j. f.
Had a very caring male doctor he even had the time to talk to me.
C. M.
Lots of stores good range of shopping.
K. B.
Great for parking and reasonable for traffic, has most of your usual stores and DIY's. You should find what you want. But definitely aimed at drivers as if you can't drive won't be easy to get around the shops.
M. C.
Great place loads of easy parking areas bon on
B. C.
Maybe a little unfair to judge in the current circumstances, but I suppose everywhere feels different. One thing that did stand out today was the seating situation. Many people on my visit were waiting outside for others who had gone into the shops. I for one as I had a dog with me. On a wet day it was very noticeable that what seating there was, is actually not under the very welcomed roof over the pathway, but on the edge where the rain hits it. For those of us with mobility issues, not great.
S. H.
Great array of shops and stores as well as restaurants and Vue cinema
K. P.
Clifton shopping is what it is for shops and Tesco's access into shops are good but nothink exciting
R. H.
Great place for browsing and shopping. Not many empty buildings.
K. B.
Plenty of shops to walk around nice and clean
I. G. J.
It's not bad but limited to a few stores
K. B.
Good selection of shop's and ample parking.
L. L.
Good range of stores. Would recommend
R. M.
Great retail outlet a bit spaced out but good for out of town shopping and plenty of free parking.
a. s.
Called into tesco, ordered simple egg on toast for kids , extremely poor, for such a simple request.
P. D.
Easy parking and all the shops I needed today.
S. m.
Lovely day today went for a drive stone I was after were on offer 3 bags for £9 bargain.
L. T.
It's ok, fair few shops to choose from. The shops are 'split' over 3x sections of Clifton Moor, but well signed. There is also cinema, restaurants, bowling/laser tag centre. There are also car dealerships and other business round the 'back' of the shopping area. There is also amble parking available in all 3x sections. Traffic can be a bit of a nightmare though, especially on weekends; please bear this in mind when visiting.
S. B.
Would be a 5 but the EV charging points issues need addressing , only 3 out if 6 work and they allow cars to be left on charge most of the day without penalty. Don't expect to be able to charge your car!
B. K.
Its a shopping centre but it's well spread out you need a car to access all areas
K. A.
It's ok for basic shopping but would be nice to have something more individual.
F. Y.
Used the charging points. Mostly ok but getting started was a nightmare.
L. T.
Nice area to shop, with everything you need.
E. L.
It's an out of town shopping centre.
You know all those other out of town shopping centres? It's like them.
J. D.
Excellant place for a days shopping all you need in one place.
S. R.
Lots of shops covering lots of different aspects, all with easy parking. Enjoyable retail therapy
J. m.
Quite large and fantastic array of shops
M.
Very big store.
Hard to think what it doesn't have.
Very reasonable prices.
It has a small cafe a toilet a small freezer section toys food and everything a supermarket stocks.
Trolleys outside they need a £1 in them.
Face masks have to be worn.
Parking outside and Disabled parking.
Disabled access.
Overall worth a look round.
C. W.
Always has just what I am looking for and more, and easy to get to,lots of great shops.
M. B.
Went to Clifton Moor retail park last week as I wanted to visit B &M Bargains ,I was rather surprised as it’s so big inside and one can buy almost anything for the home and prices are very modest with lots of full shelves considering it’s a month to go for Christmas .Lots of car parking spaces too but you have to fight your way there in the traffic queues so allow plenty of time when you go there .
c. w.
Nice looking furniture and really helpful staff when your buying…
Returned a few months later for assistance “systems were down”
Was promised a call back!
Never got one!
Totally different experience from buying to needing help…
A. P.
All the usual retail shops shoes, clothes, beds sofas, etc.
P. R.
The shopping place is fantastic but only if you can HALO in from a chopper.
Driving around here early morning or late afternoon is like being stuck in treacle, I never have but imagine it would be this bad. Not like cement bad but still, its painful like pulling teeth without anaesthesia.
I haven't done that either but its referenced a LOT.
#HALO=High Altitude Low Opening parachute
R. C.
Furniture shopping. Great choices for every room in the various outlets
b. t.
Plenty of parking available and signs out for safety
Very good selection of stores in this area within easy walking after parking car
E. W.
Good range of home stores and plenty of parking. A big complex that includes restaurants and cinemas as well as bowling. We generally go to Pets At Home as the have a vets inside so handy to take the dog for a check up and buy dog snacks afterwards.
A. B.
Good selection of stores ample parking
J. F.
Great selection of shops, plenty of car parking, a must go to place for shopping.
B. H.
Great shop staff they seem to a larger selection of things than other stores big car park
D. J.
Looks good, ample parking, only really visited tenpin, McDonald's and Tesco, but the range of shops is impressive in one place. Access can be a bit hardwork though, especially at busy times.
J. Y.
Love going to Clifton bingo lovely atmosphere gorgeous food and very friendly staff.
S. K. M.
Big shopping areas Tesco 10 pin macd and many more
R. S.
If you enjoy shopping it's ok.
m. s.
Great choice of shops with fantastic parking .....
D. H.
Varied selection of stores to browse around, I would strongly suggest you "Google" "Clifton Moor" to see the variety of stores and their opening times. Decent selection of eating establishments offering takeaway and sit down meals within. Easily spend a day or two shopping around here,as the retail park is vast in size and split into three areas.
E.
Nice range of food places, although it’s a nightmare trying to find ur way into the drive thru’s of all the takeaways, everyone was coming through the parking spaces and it congested the whole road. and if you want to go to multiple drive thrus (like what we did because were awkward) you have to exit the place go around the roundabout and come back in.
R. C.
Great range of stores. Plenty of free parking. Charge points for electric cars. ATMs. Tesco filling station. Easily accessible.
C. P. F.
I love shopping here. Whether it's grocery, diy, gifts, clothes or furniture, you will get something
T. H.
Probably second largest out of town shopping mall area in York, decent car parking, coffe shop, burgers and usual KFC etc... Bank machine outside Tescos.
S. G.
Some empty retail units there now. But still plenty of decent shops so still worth visiting.
D. B.
Plenty of free parking whilst you shop.
a. b.
Love shopping here everything is here so many shops and everything that you need all in one place
J. A.
Parking is good at the Dunhelm car park with wider spaces than other car parks. Cars are much bigger these day's.!
M. C.
Managed to find food here eventually. If you get on the wrong road just keep driving you'll find McDonald's and KFC near Tescos. Sad that all other restaurants are closed and hoping they'll be able to open when we're next in York.
H. C.
Plenty of free parking, always get what we go for
M. H.
Went to look at recliner chairs good choice
J. G.
Plenty of space good variety of retailers
b. m.
Food and service is great. Had a steak and ale pie and a few beers before going to to the football at the LNER stadium. Great pie and great value.
J. P.
Good variety of shop's
M. P.
The parking is an eye-watering experience. Nothing stopping folk driving from one side of the carpark to the other whilst others are driving up and down and folk bravely pull out of a parking space! Like Brands Hatch.
Shops are spread in a way that means driving is imperative so the congestion is huge. Only go if I am desperate its horrendous!
H. H.
Only been to macdonalds with work lol
D. B.
A range of fast food restaurants all with drive thru. Some have closed recently. B&Q car park tends to get crowded on Saturdays with it's small entrance
A. W.
Great choice of shopping in one place.
N. B.
A retail park on York ring road with a wide range of shops and eating places.
D. A.
Busy but good variety of shops. Tesco very big with added shops inside , various clothes concessions. Not too busy, very helpful and friendly staff. Great choice of food and drink.
A. B.
Tesco, Wilko, Card Factory, Costa, B&Q, Argos, Home Bargains, Iceland and Iceland Food Warehouse, Vue Cinema and some food outlets. Plenty of parking, some food and entertainment outlets. Good location. Quite spreadout and have to drive to every different area but that's all.
g. g.
Great place to visit when in York. Very clean and well kept, car parking spaces are a decent size and toilets are always clean and tidy.
R. W.
From the gentleman who told us where to park to the lady who said goodbye it was a peaceful experience. The venue was clean and tidy.
R. B.
Not easy for an octogenarian to interpret meals available nor understand the voice behind two-way speaker used for transmission of order. The meal provided was nowhere near that expected but we did manage to eat most of chicken whilst chips were so cold we felt sorry for them. One very large bottle of orange was included without beakers.
P. B.
Electric car charging facilities are limited but adequate. Car park layout needs a lot of improvement. Bays are too narrow for trolleys children unloading etc. If you are proud of your car go somewhere else! Why don't they make larger spaces available at the more distant parts of the car park?
c. w.
We stayed on a small caravan site at the Lysander Arms, just to the south of Clifton Moor retail site. We walked to the shops most days, there were plenty of eating places. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there.
A. O.
Car was in for service so had a walk to the shops. I like clifton moor because there are so many different types of shops from cheap to high end depending on what you are looking for of course.
T. G.
Covid safe at the moment. Saturday afternoon wasn't too busy and no queues. Oatland.... barmy one way system that's religious followed by staff and leads you to laps if you want to revisit an item you've passed!
D. H.
Brilliant shopping experience with visits to several different types of stores finished off with a drink from Costa. Carparking free all day and the site is pretty well laid out making access to the stores fairly easy. There are a few eateries on site where you can grab a bite to eat, such as Costa,Greggs,KFC and Burger King. We found it convenient.
K. A.
Good range of shops. Costa can burn the coffee but most of the time they are ok.
Visited a number of shops. Pretty good experience in most of them with the covid pathways however they need to provide resting points for the disabled in pathways.
B.
Ample free parking with plenty of shops around. In no particular order.. B&Q, Sofology, Costa, greggs, Tesco, home bargains, curry's, PC World, smyths toys, McDonald's, furniture Village, DFS, Pets store, KFC, and many many more. Well worth a visit.
E. A.
I am a quite regular shopper at tesco but in the Doncaster area, this place was huge compared to others, and it was very well stocked, and although busy it was a very safe feeling, the Staff were very attentive and very helpful to.
S.
Good choice of units selling various types of product. Local bus service which is handy for us none drivers.
S. S.
Good parking facilities and a great diversity in shops. Bought our new furniture from Oak Furniture Land. Wonderful service and brilliant quality. Very happy.
J. B.
A large shopping complex spread out over a large area, loads and loads of free parking close to any shop you wish to visit(good idea to have a plan were all the shops are). All the main high street shops are here along with well known restaurant's , supermarkets (fuel) furniture shops cinema even a pub. To save on high price parking in York and all the hassle that brings , check out this place instead, there's no time limit to staying on this site like there is at other similar sites around York. You will be surprised and glad you did.
L. D.
Good range of shops and choice bit of something for everyone. Can usually get everything I need in one trip which is always a bonus
E. W.
Clifton Moor is an expanse of space with quite a lot of big shops. It is in two parts, you have the Tescos side where you can also find B&Q,Argos sofology plus more shops, and on the 2nd part of Clifton Moor, you have places where you can go and get something nice to eat or even go bowling 🎳 ,then you still have the second lot of shops like Dunelm,Matalan,B and M,Iceland plus other shops. You could spend all day going round clifton if you really wanted to.
N. D.
Good assortment of shops, supermarket, car showrooms and cafe's. It is continually growing with it split into four sides. One side is of different car showrooms. Two other sections are different arrays of types of shops. Then another side to private businesses as well as national chains. There's also a pub and many eateries which may take your fancy. Growing all the time!
M. H.
Always a good place to shop
D. C.
Plenty of places to shop, Tesco, cinema restaurants, charge spots and reasonably quiet only let down by the hassle getting in on the ring road
G. T.
Located just off the ring road lots of parking easy level access nice outside seating.
M.
Great place to shop, spent the day there getting all the equipment my son will need for university. Plenty of coffee shops to stop and rest. Had a great day with.my family.
a.
This is a beautiful venue. It is nice clean and not over crowded. The food court has more than adequate places to eat. The restrooms are very clean. I was amazed that the venue also has a place to take a shower!!!
m. p.
Nice breakfast in the cafe inside tesco....
A. S.
Generic retail park on the edge of York. Has the usual mix of retail/leisure outlets with big choice of eating establishments- probably too many. Plenty of free parking. All perfectly pleasant but perfectly bland and you could be in any retail park in any town.
A. S.
Big place with Tescos and or other shopping needs.
L. C.
Went to Tesco here, so the usual fair.
B. T.
Like every other retail park
J. S.
Sold by parents all in one pc but it didn't work when unboxed. Sending replacement asap which is good but should defo work straight out of the box!
T. D. D.
Ample parking however the charge points didn't work so was slightly disappointed about this. Got what we needed from the shops though.
G. C.
Love this store. It's one of those interesting shops that does all sorts of things for your home at a reasonable price.
I just like to check it out from time to time to see what's there and have a mooch around. I've come away with some bargains at times.
Well worth a look
B. S.
A little spread out and a lot of empty shops. But the shops there is offer a great range. Paths are a little unsturdy in places. Be aware that above certain shops there are anti bird nets that are not maintained regularly and often dead birds hanging from them. Can be a little distressing for little kids to see.
A. P.
Plenty parking spaces available, also for disabled drivers. Nice choice in shops, so there's something for everyone. Can easily spend a sunny afternoon in this area
P. D.
Lots of shops, restaurants and parking but can get ridiculously busy and some of the shops are expensive! It's easy to access on the outer ring road with plenty of buses if required
a.
One of a number of large scale retail parks around the York area. Excellent selection of shops, eateries and the Vue cinema. Ample parking. Easy access from the ring road. Everything contained in one place. Well maintained and modern.
A. R.
Always worth a visit, we furnished one bedroom with 2 flat pack wardrobes, 2 chests of drawers, a table & bedside cabinets for under £900. Hired 2 men plus van to bring home & carry upstairs!
T. 3.
Busy ! Lots of shops. Had to stop for a coffee and cake at Costa ha ha
K. E.
Its OK. There are far to many furniture shops and unused buildings. Not the greatest place to visit unless your by car as its a walk between the two different areas. It is now better Gregg's and Costa have moved in.
J. H.
Lots of shops, including a large Tesco and a Wiko's. There are a few eateries here too and plenty of parking spaces. There are also 4 EV charging bays to the right of Gregg's.
M. w.
Love pets at home. And Tesco to get fuel
J. L.
A good range of shops but very busy and close to the often slow York northern outer ring road. Moving from one section to another by car is not always easy. Monks Cross and other retail parks should take note of this (and take advantage of it). I try to avoid it or go at less busy times.
J. N.
Enjoyable time with plenty of things to do
C. C.
Just too hot to shop.
R. A.
Amazed at the level of collection of different items available here. It was a nice experience shopping here
S. M.
Clifton Moor has got the lot but I wish it had a good old fashioned hardware shop lol.
K. F.
Just went to Tesco's
M. O.
Visited the store, which has a large
stock of products.
J. T.
I go to Clifton moor often sometimes on the bus which is just a hassle because then you are on foot around it... Admittedly the paths have gotten better but OK think you should put a little train / mini bus to circle it so people can get from one side to the other / one end to the other easier especially for the older generation...
P.
Good customer service by young man who helped me with the 2 heavy boxes. One box weighed 49kgs and 7ft long and 2ft wide a ridiculous size to be sold and should have been split into two for safety reasons.
P. D.
Great place to go for a good variety of shops. Always plenty of parking with lots of space further away from the shops.
K. C.
Sad to see some shops shutting down but got what we wanted
A. B.
Nothing quite like popping to Tesco with the wife and kids in our Rolls Royce.
For more photo's of all our wedding cars please check us out on Facebook at Best Weddings Wedding Car Hire York.
Kindest Regards Alex
C. J.
Very good place, many shops to keep you busy
J.
Great range of shops for all the necessary products you require. Best place to go if local.
G. T.
Wide range of shops, great parking , good facilities, regular bus service to York
R. T.
Plenty of parking but can be quite confusing to navigate if you have never visited before. Fairly average selection of shops, mostly home/ furniture. Good place to go for a meal out and cinema trip.
I. R.
Excellent place to shop at your leisure...loads of different places to eat as well as a cinema and bowling alley WITH free parking at all venues...well worth a visit ...plus there's a few major car dealerships and tyre places so mum can shop whilst dad looks for their next motor vehicle....sorry that sounds sexist but you get the gist ...
D. S. L.
Everything you could need a cinema a tesco petrol station Pets At Home Argos Wilkinsons a pc world a McDonald's, BurgerKing KFC. just a overall nice place to spend a few hours
N. G.
Variety of household and furniture stores plus tesco super store, free parking plus a wide range of fast food restaurants, all you need in one area
A. C.
Great range of homeware shops and never too busy.
C. S.
Plenty of parking. Lots of different stores to visit and easy to relocate the car if needed. Eateries available there too.
M. M.
I think that there are lots of decent shops here, obviously it isn't as varied as monks cross nor is the lay out as convenient but it is a great place to go for day to day goods.
J. R.
Nearly always fully stocked just a shame no Harry Ramsdon mushy peas.
D. S.
Great place to shop eat and drink sometimes gets too busy
K. T.
Clifton moor has all the shops me nd my family love x matalan for the only jeans that fit my legs haha x B&m enough said! Smyths toy superstore for me nd my husband who are geeky x homebargins for all you food and household needs and those all important prezzies that you can't get anywhere else
M. R.
Just what you would expect on a retail park nothing really stands out but good, if you're looking for food shopping, electrical products, pet supplies, holidays, furniture, this is a good place, Tesco, Currys, Argos, Mc Donald's, burger king,KFC, pets at home, DFS, Vue cinema, and lots more
P. D.
Good shopping centre with huge parking space.
V. B.
Just returned from a trip to various stores on Clifton moor good selection/variety of shops all having lots of sales
S. W.
This place is ok if you are wanting cheap shops such as b&m or home bargains etc. It also has plenty of furniture shops. It has ample parking which is free. Fast food restaurants including Greggs. It also has other restuarants such as Frankie and Benny's and Vue cinema. It can sometimes be hard to find the shop you are looking for as the signage isnt amazing.
T. J.
Needed some essentials, a bit of walking means you can get just about everything you need. Pretty quiet so social distancing wasn't a problem.
D. G.
Open for takeaways at the moment and a limited range of food on offer but great for it to be back serving again.
It's been a long time since I had a coffee there and it's good to be back!
Y. S.
Comfortable place to go to and spend time with friends and family.
P. M.
Big shopping 🛍 centre everything you need
A. S.
Loved it and all the shops were great to vusit
c. A.
And here for pets at home but lots of shops for most needs.
Plenty car parking and fast food outlets.
S. B.
A really good shopping centre, some good stores there and usually plenty of parking, but could perhaps do with a bit more variety after all the recent home furniture stores have opened up.
M. S.
Handy for disabled as it is easy to drive from shop to shop or section to section with plenty of disabled parking. The KFC and Burgerking are 2 of the worst I've been in. Lots of mobility dealers for checking out cars. Other food venues are good. Handy for most things you need with the likes of Home Bargains and B&M DIY shops, a bunch of morose generally can't be bothered staff in PC world. But none the less handy for us mobility disadvantaged as no bothering going into town for same shoddy service at PC World but hey you can park right outside, same with Argos and Mothercare and so on
R. m.
Good selection of shops including a large Tesco and JYSK for great selection of towels, bedding and furniture including garden furniture. Good quality stuff similar to ikea but cheaper and better quality. If you're hungry there is a Burger King with drive thru, a KFC with drive thru or a Greggs or Costa all in the car park.
G. (.
There's not a great deal to say, here. It's a small retail park with the typical out-of-town shops such as Tesco, Dunelm Mill and so on. There's also a Vue cinema and a few eateries but all in all, you won't be surprised by what you find here.
D. S.
Has all the stores you will need, alas the price of tesco is much higher than Asda in Monks Cross and other similar outlets.
Personally, if I didn't need specific stuff and Cliftonville moore wasn't the closest place to my location at the time, I would spend an extra £1 on diesel to get me to monks cross.
Tldr: more expensive than monks cross which is close by
J. N.
Good - they have a great range of shops and other leisure but it is always really busy
j. m.
On the west ring road around York,, extensive range of shops, for example mcDs, KFC Burger K,, and all the main out of town large retailers,, parking is free, and loads of space... Whilst off a main ring road, the traffic can be very slow during rush hour.. Beware.
S. T.
The Tesco here is pretty big and there are plenty of other shops, but it's mainly home furnishing shops. Vue cinema is there, but that's God awful and should only be visited by teen-agers who can't afford a decent cinema. As it's Clifton is not really the nicest place to be for a long period of time. Can't go wrong with B&Q which is near by ...
T.
It's not a bad spot for shopping or food, bowling and cinema
D. P.
Busy as expected at this time of year.. but not as bad as it will be next week.. hurry hurry!
N. W.
An adequate number of retail outlets with a large car park. Try to avoid rush hour times as the York ring road gets very busy.
S.
One of my favourite shopping outlets as it's not too big, nicely spread out with a good variety of shops and plenty of parking spaces. It's just a shame that the roads leading to it are so poorly designed!
T. B.
Too many shops to talk about, definitely worth a visit.
d. h.
Quick stopover , bought greggs moved on
P. L.
A lot of upgrade work taking place so only half of Clifton Moor is fully open. Overall it's a good place to visit though, good range of stores and plenty of parking.
N. D.

Still plenty of shops here even with the closures of Toys r Us and Mothercare. Quite a walk between the shops but this is out of town shopping as opposed to a shopping centre. The Tesco here is massive and also recommend the large Wilko.

n. c.
Sadly lacking in culinary options especially since Burger King burned down.
J. K.
A good centre particularly if you take into account the industrial estate next door that has a number of retail outlets. However, despite being cheap local eateries are of poor quality.
M. S.
Excellent retail park, spoilt by the horrendous main roads leading there
D. T.
Plenty of shops and parking 👍
M. M.

We visit quite a lot and always get the things we went for, good selection of shops could do with a primark on there and more cafes though.

M. B.
Good options for shops but often busy

Clifton moor is a place just to go somewhere you know you want to go to, it’s not a place to wonder round shopping. It’s very run down but the new addition of Costa Coffee and Subway brings a bit of life
M. T.

CLIFTON MOOR
Clifton Moor in York is one of the area’s best shopping destinations. It now offers a range of the UK’s leading retail brands including DFS, Tesco, JYSK, Wilko and lots more – you’ll find great gifts for friends and family.
Clifton Moor is sited to the north-west of the historic city of York and has recently been expanded. It now includes a great selection of shops, with a wide choice of places to eat and drink too. And with plenty of parking, a visit to Clifton Moor couldn’t be easier.
Clifton Moor is easily accessed by road, just off the A1237 ring road, and with bus links conveniently nearby, so getting here by public transport is simple.
Clifton Moor is open from 09:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday, from 09:00-18:00 on Saturday, and 10:00 – 16:00 on Sunday. Tesco is open 24 hours a day Monday to Saturday. Selected stores may have different hours – check the ‘Shops’ page for individual store opening hours.
Great shopping experience and great fun.
C.
Remember this place since a kid. Love it. Alot of shops and a lot of free parking. Nice restaurants a lot of which have offers if you plan ahead.
D. F.
It's a retail park with the usual array of furniture store shops and a supermarket. You can always get parked as there's plenty of parking spaces available, even some with the option for electric charging of vehicles. The comparatively resent addition of a Greggs and a larger Costa does mean you can let the wife do the shopping while you have a coffee. However if you don't want a supermarket or furniture there's not really a lot there.
P. E. T.
Good variety of well known shops and restaurants to browse as well as a few supermarkets. very good layout but try to avoid the daily rush hour around 4pm.
S. S.
Lots of places to eat and shop. When we got there a few of the restaurants had closed. So a bit less choice than normal
H. C.
Lots of variety available and the best Home Bargains!
A. C.
Everything you need all in one place, only problem is getting there when busy , traffic is a nightmare. We need more of these shops in Harrogate instead of restaurants 😁

An odd cross between IKEA and home bargains. Very, very cheap and probably the biggest selection of pillows I've ever seen. Quite a silly name though.

Losing its appeal a bit now as some good shops have shut over the years and it's becoming more furniture and sofa based
