First time going for my 5 year old starting school. Nice set up. Was served by Olivia who was very polite in dealing with us. Great customer service.

Bought some uniform for my child, whilst I was at the Barton Le Clay store I ordered a gilet and jacket for myself. Picked up the 2 items and realised the gilet was not the size I ordered. Took it back to the Store and spoke to Mandy who replaced it with the correct size and as a good will gesture also gave me a gift for my inconvenience.

Was alot smaller inside than I thought which makes sense for the time slot bookings even though they were behind and we had to queue for over 15minutes despite slots. Also parking is extremely limiting, and risky with yellow lines and restricted parking bays for other companies.

I went in to exchange my sons school trousers as I ordered the wrong size. The girl serving (very long blond hair) was polite and helpful. They didn't have any school trousers with the school logo on so the girl said she would get it embroidered on, it took about 10 mins. Great service.

We went two weeks before the end of the summer holidays, so it was definitely busy but not the worst it could have been! All the staff were very nice, every member knew where stock was and what was needed for a new starter. There was also a lot of staff available for peak times which was great. There was even someone on the door making sure it wasn’t overcrowded inside. They have various priced options depending on your wants. Embroidery on site. A few more changing rooms would be great. Very happy with our experience and my daughter looks really smart for starting her new school.

Very helpful staff, reasonably priced uniform. They know what is expected by the school and advised on the right uniform, sizes and options. We have mostly found the shop fully stocked, and when the size was not in stock, the ordering process was easy and the items arrived very quickly..

Gave a 3 star rating after factoring in the service I received the previous academic year (first time). When I really wanted to give a 1! Where companies are concerned and their service standards have slipped during this new covid reality (delivery mix ups or delays) I’ve given extra latitude and been generous in my reviews, particularly when the customer service staff or people answering the phone are polite and professional. Appreciating companies at this time have added pressures due to covid. Now, I take exception to customer service staff being patronising when their own assurance processes render them incapable of ensuring the correct product is received by the right customer. Sadly the woman I had the misfortune of speaking with his come to typify what I would call the “Luton/local standard” of customer service. Sadly us parents of children who attend the local schools have no choice but to buy uniforms from this establishment. Product quality I have to state is top notch. But the service definitely not so for when it comes to receiving deliveries!
