Well set out over three floors with plenty of space. Decent selection of products. Friendly staff with excellent product knowledge. Micheal in City Centre store was quick, effective, and an encyclopaedia of product knowledge. Thomas helpful with great customer service. A subesquent visit to Boucher was needed to try a size that was not in stock in Belfast. I was helped there by Ryan and again the service was helpful and professional. No hard sell. This guys clearly wanted to find what was right for me. Recommended

Love this shop, have only ever visited the Belfast store and didn't know they had one here. It sells a huge range of great quality outdoor clothing. Loads of different brands from Rab to Jack Wolfskin. Also sells shoes and sunglasses, backpacks etc. Staff are so friendly too.

I went to get me a Fjall raven vardag lite jacket that I saw online but I was not sure of my size. Though that product was not on the display, the staff helped me finding that product and the right size. I would totally recommend this store for any outdoor needs. Thanks again to the lovely staff! We visited today and bought a lovely Rab coat for the son. The staff member seemed very knowledgeable and give good advise on how to properly look after and wash it. Although the attire can seem very expensive, they are an excellent investment for our weather in winter. In this case, you pay for what you get. Cotswold also have an excellent online retail system whereby, even if you purchase from the shop (in-store), your receipt and warranty is emailed digitally.

What a great store. James was fantastic. Very patient when trying on stuff. I have a very problematic foot. Nevertheless, I am no couch potato. We tried endless boots and my wife is pleased to say we eventually got a pair to suit. Fantastic service, friendly helpful staff. It's a great shop. Anything for the outdoors they have it. I was impressed with the staff. They all have an interest in outdoor activities and this showed when I was looking to buy ski gear. I explained to the salesperson that my daughter suffered badly from cold hands whilst skiing. I was buying glove liners for my son's expedition into the Himalayas and when he came back and said they were great I purchased a second set for my daughter. Set over 3 floors, this store has everything for the outdoor enthusiast. On floor 2 you have a massive selection of walking shoes/boots as well as running trail shoes and A good selection of outdoor costs and jumpers. The staff are fantastic - always on hand to help. Overall a great store!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff (Especially Leslie in the Belfast city centre store). Measured up my feet properly for a new pair of hiking boots and insoles. Tried 3 pairs and was also given thicker socks to make sure I got the right fit. Will definitely be visiting again for other hillwalking gear!

I visit Cotswold in Castle Lane pretty regularly for both the larger gear purchases and the more regular odds and ends required before trips and camps. I've always found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful and the gear to be top notch. It's also greatly reassuring that if you have problems you can come back to the store. The advice is always impartial and I've never felt like they've been "pushing for a sale" like you get in some stores. Highly recommended

Best. Shoe shop. Ever! I have very large feet (hey, save it!) in that they are very wide, and for most of my life I have had ankle sprains at least every month. The staff here (some local, some from elsewhere in Europe [yet still sounding a bit local!], all *lovely* and PAINSTAKING in their pursuit of the right thing for me) found me a pair of trainers/sneakers/runners/gutties, call them what you will, and a pair of F off sturdy walking boots which fitted. Once I'd broken them in, the latter got me all around the mean streets of Moscow (after a typical flight, bearing for quite some time a 20kg suitcase and going up and down countless steps/stairs) over a long weekend without so much as a twinge from my 'bad' ankle. Very very highly recommended indeed! 100th review I believe.
