The store was very large inside so had a wide range of products. The store was clean and tidy. The staff where extremely friendly. A call out to Bradley who was extremely helpful in personally showing me the products. He was also friendly and welcoming at the tills. A must go to for essential outdoors wear and equipment.

Called into this shop today, we were looking for a tent. We wanted airbeam and weren't to sure size wise and style in which we wanted. Along came Bradley who explained each tent to us, layout, waterproof spec, ect we must have spent half an hour or more with him. He knew all the information about each tent on display. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning . Keep doing what your doing Bradley it makes such a difference to have someone so helpful when your spending alot of money like that.

Was in yesterday and helped by a sales assistant named Michelle! Could not have been more helpful. By far, one of the most helpful members of staff I have dealt with. Professional, knowledgeable and seemed to really enjoy her job. The store itself is excellent with great prices, stock availability and choice (Also plenty of parking and have been open during lockdown as essential supplier)

The girl that helped us couldn't have been more helpful the pump I got with my lnflatable tent was broken when we got on camp site she replaced it and I had to take a collapsible bucket over too which I didn't order I had ordered the water carrier. Well this nice lady sorted us out with both item's. When I phoned the online help line I got a very rude unhelpfull individual to deal with so we decided to just come over to the shop and we're glad we did great staff in your NI shop Kind Regards Hazel Garland.

I would normally give a higher score but on today's visit 3 is good. Given the pandemic and people holidaying at home left little camping stock in store. Much fewer staff available to offer their services. You need to be aware of the prices and check your receipt as discounted prices don't always show at the tills.

Went looking for waterproof hiking shoes.Was well looked after by Harry who went through all the brands and what they offered.Finally narrowed it down to goretex Merrell ...he thanked me for allowing him to serve me and it was a mutual pleasure.Kelsie confirmed the advertised price with Harry and altered accordingly .Kelsie also told me about their returns policy too. Had just visited 2 Direct Sport stores and they offered no feedback when looking at footwear except getting sizes...their layout (Newtownabbey)has much improved in the new stores though. Go Outdoors would be a good place to go to for personal service, price policy and variety of quality brands.

I just love browsing around this marvelous store. I knew I was looking for some new lightweight water repellent trousers for the golf course coming into the Autumn but I like to take tgecopportunity to have a good look around made even more special by discovering a great sale on. I am not a comfortable shopper and really think I should have been born male as I do not take to shopping well but I really do enjoy the massive store. Plenty if room to browse and so very much to see. In these odd times I could not of course try on my purchase institu but now I am home I find they are a perfect fit and brilliantly fit for purpose.

First time in this store as I had alot off trouble finding it lol plenty of outdoor stuff to choose from very good half decent prices as well I don't have a discount card I wasn't aware of needing one either until I purchased a knew waterproof jacket today I was happy enough to pay full price compared to price that it was on discount I explained this to the girl at till I would be happy to pay more as I really like the jacket and colour of it lol makes for sense if you really like what your paying for and it's worth the price then yeah go a head why pay less when u can have more?? 🤗👍👍

I have recently been in the fishing department in the Newtownabbey store and the service and knowledge from Neil in this department was second to none, he went great lengths to help me out and nothing was too much bother. Also the till staff and managers all were more than willing to help in anyway they could, i would definitely recommend and will look forward to to shopping there again.

big range of outdoor stuff. brand products made more reasonable with the discount card. even more reasonable if your kid is in the guides or scouts (another 10% off) but that did mean making our child wear their uniform to the shop. decathlon would have the edge price wise due to its own makes. surprisingly good horsey section and a massive range of tents. we bought a tick remover, walking socks and rain ponchos - probably the most boring things in the shop!

Amazing outdoor supply store. Slightly hidden away from the much busy abbey centre store it is usually very quiet but has a completely asking selection of every kind of out door equipment. It even contains more niche stuff such as equestion supplies. But the real outstanding section is the tents. Everything you could want and a great prices compared to elsewhere.

A nice relaxing dander around this store with the grandkids. Got a couple of bargains. The staff were lovely and helpful. Enjoyed looking around the tents recently bought the voyager6 like the way you can see the tents up. Today wee got them a child play tent .

Got an ok range of goods. Located in a place that is easy to find and plentiful parking to the front of the store. Service is dreadful though. I went in looking to purchase an item for which I wanted some advice. Despite there being very few customers in the shop I could not find anyone to offer me assistance. It wasn't as if the staff were busy serving other customers. There was just no one on the shop floor to even stop. I waited 30 minutes for someone to offer assistance. I then left the shop and took my custom elsewhere. I won't bother trying again.

Big store with a good range of kit. Pricing is weird as 2 prices on everything. This is due to a discount card system that u can only access after 1st purchace and get charged a fiver for the privelidge. So buy something cheap 1st. Prices seem ok.
