T. M.We bought walking shoes, socks and a hat for our son. The young man at the till kindly made us aware of the student discount that our son was eligible for. Prices are much lower than RRP and customer service was excellent.
D. S.Well stocked store. I was looking for a sports bag, but didn't find a size suitable, but the store has plenty of stock. I had a good wander through the shop to see what else may be of interest. No masks needed, which is welcome as far as I am concerned. Free parking there, is always a bonus.

N. P.Friendly and helpful staff member took the time and trouble to help me, as I'd made eye contact - which is pretty fantastic when a mask obscures your face! Looked for a suitable bag for a rather nice laptop - but having consulted with Stuart found that most travel bags have the laptop pocket against the spine - and instead of (competitor's style of) forced selling, he agreed that on this occasion they didn't have a product that met my specification. Would look for other products from Mountain Warehouse in the future!

C.Popped in to Mountain warehouse castlepoint yesterday, managed to pick up a decent pair of walking boots for £40. loads of stuff heavily reduced in price, only drawback was the lack of staff in the store. Only spotted a single worker behind the till. I presume there may have been a second somewhere just for health and safety reasons, however nowhere near to. Ask for assistance.
M. G. (.Great selection for an affordable price. The quality of the MW products are good to great and the value for money is definitely there. Staff is friendly and happy to help (well not all of them want to talk to you and rather focus on their colleagues) but all in all its worth a visit if you need equipment for a hike or a cycling trip.

Easy access all round if a little tight in places. Great staff team that have the patience to allow you to try multiple items until you get the right one. Can be a little expensive but the quality is worth it and when there is a sale on there are many bargains to be had. Basically all you could need for whatever the weather throws at you.
