An excellent online seller of quality climbing shoes. If you know the size you wear in the shoe you want them they’re your people (climbing shoe sizes are unique to each style, don’t think you can just order your street shoe size). I made this mistake and despite it being on me, their returns and refund policy is fair and fast, as long as your returning the shoes unworn and in box in the condition you receive them, You’ll pay return postage buts that’s only fair. Unfortunately they didn’t have the larger size but happily refunded and well within the 5 working days they state. Will definitely be using them again.

My partner and I visited this shop looking for our first pair of climbing shoes and the man behind the counter was so helpful and friendly (I wish we got his name)! We explained that we were looking for vegan friendly shoes and it wasn't a problem at all - he was happy to help us. We were encouraged to take our time trying on different shoes and we didn't feel rushed at all. We left with what we went in for and wouldn't hesitate to return!

Im always so surprised with how fast things get shipped from here. I live in NZ and it usually takes 4 working days to get to me which is crazy quick. The prices are always so good and the online shoe calculator is spot on. I have been getting shoes off them for a wee while now and I will continue to get them from them. Always a pleasure to deal with :)

I've ordered a couple of times online (and family have ordered from there to get gifts for me) and it's been a great experience each time. They stock quite a wide range of climbing equipment spanning all disciplines, and the prices look to be relatively competitive which is a nice bonus. When I've contacted for assistance on tracking an order and arranging a return for an item that was too big, communication was quick, friendly and efficient. For UK customers there is an option to automatically generate a Royal Mail tracked returns label (cost of which is then deducted from the refund); I used this method and it was very simple. I've never been to the physical shop but it looks to offer a specialist experience with shoe fitting, advice from knowledgeable staff, etc so it's nice to be able to support that kind of business. Although I probably won't purchase any shoes or equipment online because I have a fantastic local specialist where I live, would have no hesitation recommending for any climber who doesn't have access to a good local specialist, or for anyone looking for more general items (clothing, chalk bags, etc) that are a little easier to get size and requirements right.

I've never ordered from banana fingers before, and after reading some of the reviews, I was a little bit nervous, as climbing shoes in particular, are notoriously difficult to size. I needed not to worry as they were brilliant. Answered my email straight away regarding size and received my products less than 48 hours later. Unfortunately neither shoe fit my feet and I sent them back at 3pm on a Saturday and had the money back in my account by Tuesday. Can't fault them and will definitely use again..!

Really happy with the service received. Royal mail screwed up and despite paying for next day delivery the package took two days to arrive. I was advised to seek a refund for the postage from BF. Within 24 hours i had the refund in my account and I am very happy with my purchases. 11/10 would recommend. Edit: Made a second order for climbing shoes. Ordered on Friday afternoon and arrived Saturday morning. Customer service were available via phone and email and i always get a prompt reply. Matched a price from elsewhere online. Very happy!

Bought many things online from here delivered to Australia. Good selection, good prices and fast delivery. Unfortunately they don't seem to have many staff to deal with online customer service. If there has been any warranty or delivery mess up, its been long and drawn out with multiple emails and phone calls to resolve simple things. Not ideal.

I went here to swap my climbing shoes after having bought them online and getting them too small, and the range of shoes they have are awesome! The guys are super friendly and very attentive. I was able to try on loads of different shoes and sizes to ensure I got the right fit. I'd definitely recommend BF to anyone who wants to get climbing shoes and any climbing gear. I'll definitely be going back again when the time comes.

Very much seems to depend who is working. One trip we received excellent advice and suggestions for shoes for a relatively new climber. We left very happy with the service. Next trip we were being served by someone else with the same requirement of shoes for a different new climber and we just got brought the shoes we asked for, no help, no suggestions. Now we're not so inclined to go back.

I've been always very happy with them, but this time have to say the customer service wasn't supportive. I tried to contact them twice to ask some info about the colour of the backbag, but no one replyed, so I ordered it anyway. When I got it I realized that the top handle was coming apart and now I'd like to exchange it. The website says the item is not eligible for exchange. I tried to contact them for advice, but again, no reply. I'm writing this review hoping that someone of the customer service will read it and help me.

We regularly use bananafingers, more so online purchases but have also visited the shop several times. The staff are really informative and helpful about the products sold and all stock (I believe) is in-store so if it is not on display you just need to ask.
