Awesome Shop! Went in to find a new pair of climbing shoes, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the person helping me had owned the shoes I was looking at buying so it was nice to hear advice based on experience. This came after having a pretty bad customer experience trying to buy some shoes at a gym in London, so help like this shouldn't be taken for granted. Almost forgot to mention the prices were also very good!

Ordered a pair of Eb-split climbing shoes, during lock down, so couldn't try before I bought. The 1st pair came within two days, unfortunately they were too tight. I find the service here incredibly hit and miss. I try to buy a reasonable amount of kit from them (despite the high prices) as it's nice having a climbing shop nearby, so I want them to stay open, however sometimes it's just not worth putting up with the rubbish service. Went in 100% ready to buy two pairs of climbing shoes today, and left with nothing as the chap behind the counter clearly had no interest in selling me anything. Having said that, they've also been really helpful in the past when a bit of gear purchased there broke after a couple of uses.

Bought myself a complete lead rack from dick's climbing, in two orders over two days. Not only was everything posted very quickly, the service from the team themselves was great. I say this because a couple of the items I purchased weren't in stock, (which it did state on website) so the team emailed me straight away to confirm with me that I was aware of this and when the items would be in stock and when they would be getting delivered etc. The items that weren't it stock were delivered the day after my main order so I didn't even have to wait around at all for them. Discount was even thrown in on my order as it was over £400 and I got a set of quick draws for free for my order. No complaints at all the fantastic company will be ordering from then again for my future kit.

I've just received my parcel yesterday and i can quite happily say I'm very impressed with Dick's Climbing. The package arrived quickly to Australia even over the Easter break and a national holiday Anzac day. The prices were excellent and service brilliant, even received an email regarding a possible late dispatch due an item not being in stock because of disruptions over Easter which wasn't an issue at all but was great communication. Such a great little shop with competitive prices and very friendly and knowledgeable staff (usually Dick himself, sometimes others). They won't just try and sell you the most expensive bit of kit, they'll offer advice and suggest what's best if you need help (like me, as I'm fairly new to climbing). I always prefer to come here rather than go to the bigger outdoor shops or shopping online.

Some more outstanding service from a great shop and a great guy! I have always preferred to support Dick's local shop than go big chain and once again he has come through for me. Not only did Dick reply in seconds to my email query, but he organised and fixed a problem with my order (due to my stupidity) quickly, like within minutes of me ordering. Dick has always given me and everyone i know great service, and its really good to have a shop that works and understands the local climbing scene and cares about the climbers, but also works to improve local climbing with bolt funds etc. its actually quite cool to talk to someone with great knowledge and experience in what he is selling too. I cannot recommend him and his shop enough! so much so that I go straight back to Dick's when ordering, even though I now live over 200 miles away. 5 stars everyday.

Everything you'd want in a climbing shop! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and always seem to give good advice on the gear. They also know the local climbing scene well, so you can have a good conversation about routes, the ClimbBristol project, etc. The range is excellent, and Dick will usually order items (on a quick timescale) if they are not in stock. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They do stock allot of rope access gear as well. All major brands including Petzl. Additionally they run very good online shop. Even more stuff to choose from. Discounts available if you spend over certain amount. Give them a call if you need any climbing or rope access gear.

Ebenso Service und Produktberatung – alles vom Feinsten. Der Versand mit DPD nach Deutschland dauert 2-3 Werktage. Sehr faire Versandkosten und eine gute Sendungsverfolgung gibt’s “On Top“.
