Fantastic service today. Took my husband to get a pair of walking boots. Very helpful chap talked him through all the different types of boots. We had our dog with us too and she was welcome even though she was wet as it was raining. Nothing was too much trouble. Good variety too. Thank you, both myself and my husband said we wouldn’t go anywhere else when looking for good quality outdoor clothing and footwear.

Brilliant customer service. I was chaining my bike up outside the store when one of the store assistants came out and asked me if I was coming in and do i want to keep my bike in the store whilst I have a look around the shop. (my bike is an expensive mountain bike) I was very grateful as I was worried it would get stolen outside. Anyway this guy was awesome. (long hair and tattoos, hopefully he's on like at least £13-£14 per hour) guy is a legend. All the other staff were kind as well. Good store. Give that guy a raise.

A great range of outdoor kit in here and the staff are always mega helpful. We've bought boots, rucksacks, waterproofs and jackets here over the years. It's always nice to pop in and have a look around even if we're not planning on buying anything. We've picked up loads of very useful advice from the staff and I quite look forward to having a chinwag when we pop in. Massive thumbs up.

Two weeks ago we found the perfect jacket in this shop, but couldn't find it in the right size. We asked somebody from the staff and she checked the system - apparently there should be one more jacket in M (awesome!). However, no jacket on the clothes tree. She goes "one minutes" and ends up 15 minutes searching the entire store for the damn jacket. At a point when we already gave up, did she go to the store room yet again to triple check. In the end she searched for the jacket for almost half an hour without getting annoyed or cranky. We were so thankful. Although she did not find it and we ended up buying another jacket, I am giving two very enthusiastic thumbs up for that extra effort. Very well done. It has been a while since I saw somebody putting so much effort into making a customer happy :)

3 stories dedicated to outdoor equipment. This place has such a great selection of outdoor equipment from shoes and clothing, to climbing gear to tents and cooking equipment. What really made me enjoy the visit was the vast knowledge the staff had on everything and the tent that they have on display rather than have a picture. The only downside is that it's quite pricey.

Staff are very friendly and happy to answer your questions, they'll help with a boot fitting as well and let you try on loads to make sure you've got the right ones for you. Good prices on hiking and climbing stuff and one of the last outdoor shops not owned by JD Sports

I went to the store to buy myself a pair of boots i had seen online. The member of staff told me that they didn't suit my feet shape without me even trying them on. Obviously i ignored him and tried them on. He was right. They were uncomfortable. After deciding to listen to what he had to say i bought a great pair of boots. He was really helpful and there were plenty of deals in the Christmas sale.

We went to Cotswold on Sunday afternoon - 21st August 2016 to buy two pairs of boots. The service was excellent and Alex gave expert advice in fitting and selection. Cotswold were happy to take back the boots my wife bought there a month ago because they were uncomfortable - and exchange them for a different make. We rate Cotswold very highly for the range of clothing and equipment and for the first class knowledge and skills of the staff.
