Went for an exchange of riding boots as zips were broken. Didn't have the receipt but had bank statement and Go Outdoors card number. They found transaction and exchanged boots efficiently. Good customer service

I went to go outdoors last week , for some bits for motorhome , and some advice on a bike purchase for my son , the young lad I spoke to ( Jack ) was very helpful and gave me alot of advice regarding what bike to purchase , he was a very well mannered, young man , well done , 👏

Shop opened on time 9am we went straight in got what we wanted paid and left. The shop was nice & tidy, the staff were helpful and polite. All together a quick visit to a large store which was a pleasant experience.👍

5 stars for the staff, loads of people available today even though the shop was busy and they were super helpful. It's a huge shop too with a massive selection, best outdoor type shop I've been to in the area in that regard. The pricing Is a little weird as everything seems massively reduced but really it's that things are always reduced. It's worth checking online as millets or blacks can be cheaper even though it seems you're getting a great deal.

Generally a good selection, but available sizes (even pre pandemic) can be wildly variable. It is perhaps the leakiest shop you'll ever encounter so watch out for buckets on the floor in rain

An absolutely rubbish shopping experience saved by Robbie The Good Robbie was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable, and he even opened a checkout and served us, turning this review form a 1 star never shopping here again to 5 stars. The Bad So many prices missing from shelving and products in the wrong location, having to constantly check the website for a price is not a nice customer experience. (Checking yourself goes a lot faster than asking a member of staff that’s not Robbie) Website stock check says yes, and shelves says no. asked an employee (not Robbie) and got a fast sorry we do not have any, either he had knowledge of stock or did not care, but it was the latter as unfortunately I found what I was looking for hiding in the corner.

Came here today to buy something in particular but I wasn’t sure which model to buy so Mel offered me help and guidance and managed to help with the decision. Go outdoors has an incredible range of stock with all the best brands at amazing prices. The staff are always helpful but leave you to also browse when needed. Buying a discount card once a year is worth the prices that are saved. I always recommend go outdoors for all leisure and outdoor activities. Parking is also free!

Where else are you going to walk out of a store with an 6 man tent with 3 bedrooms, a cool box, hiking poles, sunglasses and a few kids toys for £240? Loads of options to suit every budget. Very well layer out and easy to distance from people. Can't fault it

They've got a lot of stuff for outdoor pursuits camping cycling etc. Very helpful staff and friendly. Also have a good knowledge. And their merchandise is very reasonably priced.

The quality of the staff is the first thing you notice coming in and the last thing you notice going out. They sport a unique willingness to help and are knowledgeable in their field of retail, leading you straight to what you're looking for without trying to sell you on particular things. The experience at the counter is excellent too and the store provides all of the items you might be looking for in a wide welcoming space with demo tents in the back.

Great place with so much choice of varied items. Staff very helpful and everything arranged in different sections so it's easy to find what you're looking for. Great parking, just Newport rd is a nightmare with traffic. Late opening times too which is brilliant.

My 9 year old and I visited the Cardiff store on Saturday after placing an order to pick up on line. The guy who was managing the outside tent area was so helpful. I'm sorry I forgot your name! But he advised us honestly and well. Even down to how a lone adult single mum & a 9 year old could put up a tent designed to be put up by 2. Then as the tent we decided to swap our order for was out of stock he arranged to get us a fantastic price on the display model. They young man at the till was also brilliant, sorting out our order and discounts. Well done Go Outdoors Cardiff, Outstanding staff and customer service. Nice big dog friendly store with clean decent spaced aisles. Layout is just right with categories together. Superb range of products to suit amateur to professional outdoor people. The environment is comfortable, well lit and airy. Staff are friendly, polite, welcoming and knowledgeable. They will ask if they can help, but not in a pushy way. Toilet facilities available. Free car parking. On busy days in Cardiff it can be tricky getting out of the industrial area where the store is located and crossing the road via the roundabout is a bit hairy.

Top place if you are an outdoor type like me. Get some top bargains footwear is especially good. Ski jackets fleeces as well. Not a bad line in mid range cycling. Friendly helpful staff seals the deal. Get a store card and sign up for e mail alerts to make sure you never miss out. Good bargains on line as well.

Was in go outdoors on 9/12/19 super helpful lady helped me out quite new to the job she told me, however she was mint and got me to where I needed to be.. also the girl on the till on that day was Brill too she was very helpful too!!! Visited the Cardiff store today to purchase camping equipment for our Daughters D0E expedition. Found the store very well laid out and items clearly priced. Assistant helped with purchasing hiking boots, cant remember your name, sorry, but had short hair at the sides. Thanks for your help today. We then met up with Barry, if you ever need an honest, practical, and knowledgeable person to help you ask to see Barry. We went in for boots but came out with boots, sleeping bag, rucksack and a first aid kit. Barry assisted us with all our purchases. Nothing is too much trouble and a very interesting person to talk to. Barry knows his stuff in all aspects of camping and hiking. Thank you for helping with our shopping experience.
