Visited today for the first time ahead of an upcoming camping trip - there was a huge amount of choice! We found everything we needed (gas canisters, camping mugs and pans), as well as a few things we didn't (like some awesome plastic sporks!). Great range of items and I was impressed by the service too - overheard a gentleman asking if he could return a broken item, and staff were happy to exchange it for him with no fuss at all. Will definitely be back next time we need more camping items!

A quick call to these guys made my day! Having bought a shock cord repair kit from ebay and not getting anywhere fast (YouTube didn't help) I was about to admit defeat and ask them to do it for me when the guy on the phone said to feed it by hand instead of with the guidewire. He was not wrong! Absolute breeze from then on so 5⭐ for phone support and knowledge sharing!!

Brilliant place that sells a large variety of tents, trailer tents awnings, etc., as well as having a shop with all manner of camping gear, including stuff you didn't know you needed! They also sell charcoal/firelighters for your BBQ. We bought a special electric extension reel, a self-inflating mattress and some extra heavy duty tent pegs, all of which are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the car park (free) is large enough for several vehicles. The shop is rammed full of goodies so may be a bit difficult to negotiate in a wheelchair without assistance. I can't remember if the door to the shop has a ramp - sorry. The 'outer' shop is like a small warehouse so there is no threshold - easy for wheelchairs. There were quite a few staff around on the Saturday we visited, and service was good. Definitely worth a visit before you go camping.

UPDATE My wife and I have been for the last two months on a trip in our Motorhome to the west country, we returned from our adventure's around late July. However on our first stop at Cheddar one of our recently purchased (October 2021) loungers collapsed flat, I phoned the shop and spoke with Tom, short chat, he asked me to return the item on our return. Last week 22/07/2022 went back with said item, showed it to the two chaps in the shop and explained although it was purchased late last year this was the first real usage of it. Without debate or polemic discussion the unit was changed, no if's, no but's. I believe that this customer faced ethic is one of the best in a local firm I have seen for many a year, no individual person more interested in their phone text's or Facebook than the customer, just honest trading and good/great service, THANKYOU Camperite Leisure, a pleasure to do business with you.

Excellent Quality, Service & Competitive Pricing from David & the team at Camperite again! Purchased Air Awning & several accessories online over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend and all delivered to other end of country (Aberdeen) by APC Overnight in a timely fashion. Was unsure on a few items what to order but a quick call to Camperite, query was swiftly answered and I could complete my purchase online. I cannot recommend this place enough for all your camping / caravanning needs. David couldn’t have been more helpful in assisting us obtaining a replacement for our Calor gas bottle that had been returned directly to them due to a safety recall, in return for a voucher that no retailers seem to have have been made aware of. Although this was of course not Camperite’s issue dealing with David and his words of “I’d rather keep a happy customer” was a breath of fresh air having spent 6 months battling with Calor themselves. So much so we then decided to purchase a couple of further items of a larger retail price on the spot. These items were priced fairly and again the service by David in dealing with the sale was exceptional. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏻👍🏻

UPDATE: Ordered from them again for an annual stock up of camping supplies. They're still just as good as before and delivery is still really quick. I ordered at 9pm and it was dispatched by 8am the next day and came the day after that. Great service. They have a really good selection of products at competitive prices. I went to buy a coolbox and picked up a few other things while I was at it as they were so reasonably priced. Delivery was very quick too and you get a 2 hour window so you know when you need to be around. I will be shopping with them again.

Brilliant camping shop. Great advice. Friendly and not at all pushy. The staff are really knowledgeable and explain the pros and cons of everything. We had a problem with our tent - nothing to do with Camperite. Dave immediately identified the problem and called the manufacturer. We received a replacement by courier the following day. I have purchased many things in the past but had to call them regarding a problem with my gas BBQ fitting. Dave answered the phone and couldn't have been more helpful. He explained that he did not stock the item I needed but still offered to help. He explained that I could cut off some of the brass section to reveal the barbed pipe I needed to attach to my gas hose. He asked me to send photos so he could advise further. After all this he said to come up and he would take a look at it for me . When I arrived he had popped out but his other staff were just as helpful. They disappeared off with a hacksaw and within 5 minutes reappeared with the brass fitting... Ready to work!!! After all of their help and effort they didn't even charge me!!! They offer fantastic customer service which goes above and beyond. They always try to be competitive but it's hard to compete against the large 'sheds' which means some of their items are a little more expensive but I'm happy to pay this when you get so much more added value in return. Another example of their outstanding customer service was when we bought a gas/electric powered fridge from them and went on holiday to Cornwall. The electric part stopped working. One phone call to them and Dave sent all the parts needed to get it working, next-day delivery to the campsite in Cornwall and free of charge!!!!! I wouldn' go anywhere else for my camping equipment. Well done guys. 😀😀😀

All the big stores are impersonal and only have what you can see. I run a Guide unit and will sometimes buy lots of tents at a time, they are always carried to the car. Good for calor gas too.

I wasn't aware of this place until browsing the internet for camping gear and offers. I ended up buying at some Kampa gear and a few other things after being able to see the items first hand in other local stores. I was pleased with the offers the company had and in all, it was quite abit cheaper than elsewhere. The delivery was speedy and the items appeared good at first. Having ordered a KIP Kampa Wideboy 10cm roll mat I was eager to use it. It was well wrapped and had a handy cover bag. The bed was excellent as I am tall and like a bit of room to sleep on. Unfortunately I was touching the floor a bit by morning and found the fabric to have delaminated and was letting air out enough for it to deflate past the valve. Having read up on this it can happen during manufacturing or after and I contacted Camperite to see what my options were. I was more than pleased when Dave (The boss I think) told me it was not a problem and they would send out a new one straight away. I didn't even have to spend time or money posting the old one back as they told me to take a photo and could clearly see it was not useable again. I will be using this company again mainly due to their positive and pleasing nature in customer service and satisfaction.

Insanely good service. We bought a Vango Orava 600XL and they gave us the best advice. It was honest (didn't try and oversell). Also whilst away we had a zip problem (it happens. Not their fault) and the main guy put our mind at rest about getting it sorted (as we were going away again). A credit to vango. Also I have not found anywhere cheaper. (I tried searching online whilst in store) we live 20 miles away and always find the journey worthwhile.
