Second visit here this year and they give the best advice. I met Ruth for the first time and she was great and helped me select the right trainer for my running style. I tried on around 8 pairs, and went with the Hoka, great fit and good runs since purchase. See you again soon 👍🤩

Very laid back in the shop with no pressure to buy anything. Ended up choosing this pair of shoes and I am really glad I did. These shoes have provided me with so much more support allowing me to run further before the aches and pains start. At first it felt very strange running in proper running trainers but after a few runs I got used to them. I would definatly recomed people go and ask for help at this shop. I tried on 4 pairs of trainers and even ran down the road in them to try them out. It was all my decision and the staff were amazingly friendly sharing their running experiences. If you have only just started running I would recommend waiting a little while before purchasing expensive shoes like these though until you have truly got the bug, I knew it was the right time to invest in some as I started to suffer with pain in my knees and ankle while running and this started to affect the enjoyment side of running.Great experience

Got recommended by Caistor running club, So happy I went! Never will buy running shoes online again, I explained what I was after and I am very picky, he checked how I walk / run on the treadmill and gave me a selection of shoes to try, was very patient with me and no pressure to buy anything, I got a pair of HOKA mach supersonics and they fulfilled what I explained to the kind gentleman, very happy and will be returning.

Purchased a pair of Hokas that unfortunately split after the first run and Julian was a great help in liaising with Hoka to get a brand new pair sent out to me. Brilliant independent shop, recommended by a lady at Doncaster Tri Club, for my 11yr old son to get some proper running trainers, the chap was very pleasent, there always a que when we got there so waited out in the sun sat at a table, the young lad in the shop was very chatty and not "its all about me" he asked questions to my son and offered advice, the trainers that we left with were fitted for him, they weren't the first or second pair and we weren't pushed towards the HIGH end trainer, they want you to be happy with the right shoe. One lady before us must of tried abt 6 or 7 pairs on, it was not a problem to the sales man. In short, very good and I would go back repeatedly.

If your looking for running shoes and value expert opinion and correct fitting then look no further, metres to miles offer a fantastic service. Called in last week and Ruth who was in store spent well over an hour with me working towards finding me the perfect shoes which was important to me given i have a few injuries that i need to look after. She was knowledgeable, patient, and honest in what she thought i needed whilst still giving me the space to make my own decision and time to try out numerous shoes on the runway outside. You can tell these guys really care that you end up with the correct running shoes for your feet/running style. End result was i came away with a pair of road shoes and a pair of trail shoes that are perfect for me, I have tried both out and they are a pleasure to run in, bonus was Ruth even offered some tips and advice to aid my injuries. The shop is very well stocked with plenty of choice and sizes, treadmill for analysis and space outside to try shoes 'for real'. If your looking for proper fitting in a friendly atmosphere then look no further, give these guys a visit. Great experience, many thanks.

I recently have started running and thought it be wise to buy some proper shoes from here after a recommendation. I've had my new pair for around a month now and they're fantastic, comfortable and cushioning. The service provided through the store was lovely from start to finish. The assistant spent a reasonable amount of time with me, trying on many shoes, going on and off the treadmill and all with no pressure. The running community in there at the time were also amazingly friendly, this is a hobby I will forever be grateful to have picked up. I will be back for more kit in the summer, and then when I need more shoes!!

After being blighted with injury since buying my latest running shoes from the internet. I was advised to go to Metres To Miles to get my gait re-checked and get fitted with the correct shoes. The shop is easy to find and the man who looked after me was friendly and very knowledgeable. My current shoes were too soft and not supportive enough so after trying several pairs I came away with some lovely new shoes that are suited to me. My gait was checked on the treadmill without shoes and then with the new ones so I’m confident that these will prevent any further injury. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into purchasing anything so I was very impressed with my visit. Time was spent ensuring I had everything to suit my running needs. Customer service is excellent.
