R. C.Had a bad experience with a very un-friendly and unhelpful supervisor in Glenrothes store after my wife bought me a pair of £40+ Karrimors and the soles split from the boots. I explained I was a traffic compliance officer and the most climbing I'd ever done, was in and out of vehicles. The judgement was the sale was out of its 30 day return period ..... "Sorry, can't help you"!
Today however, I visited your Dunfermline store... the response from your young assistant Darren was chalk and cheese to my first experience. Despite not having my receipt for the initial purchase, he patiently waited for me to find evidence of the original sale on my banking app. Then he exchanged my old boots for a new pair. More importantly, he apologized for my initial experience.
This young man is a credit to your company. Both my son's are experienced runners and spend a lot in running equipment - I'll be suggesting they come to your Dunfermline shop from now on. From someone who worked in retail we were always told a complimenting customer will tell maybe 2 or 3 people of their experiences whereas a complainer will tell a dozen people of a bad experience. It's true..... I did. I'll however compliment Darren and your Dunfermline branch accordingly.... I'll tell lots of people..😀
