Absolutely a great experience the display was amazing with a lot t look at. Went to lool at the display to get an idea of what we wanted from a tent. The staff are second to none, extremely knowledgeable and helpful pointed us in the right direction to where we purchased a new tent, after sales service was also great called & emailed make sute everything was ok. Will 100% use this store as my go to camping store.

Brilliant and friendly service. Matt was so helpful. We came to look and ended getting all our equipment. 1st time campers. Customer service of the highest order! Having bought a Dometic dual zone fridge today, I can say that I experienced customer service of a level I’d believed didn’t’ exist any more. A great price on the fridge compared to any other supplier. They actually had physical stock you could look at and buy on the day! Friendly, upbeat, chatty, human and helpful. Helped me to take the fridge to my camper van and lift it in. No rush, no push - Just exceptional service!

Travelled from flambourgh to hull after phoning ahead and checking stock. Nowhere else on the east coast had stock apart from Winfield's. Staff on the phone and in store were amazing. Very polite and helpful. I had no idea how long my awning rail was but the manager did his best to help. I ended up purchasing an ex display kampa air awning. Very good price although with no warranty. It was touch and go if it would fit but ended up been absolutely perfect. I wish all shops were as stocked and had staff as helpful as here. Overall a fantastic experience.

Always great to have a look at the new tents and camping equipment. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. if they don't have stock at the time you can order for collection. car parking can be a problem during busy times as the yard is quite restricted with no guidance on where to park.

Every time we go into winfield Hull store we are never disappointed. We first went into the store August 2020 where we met the manager Lee Allison. Lee went out of his way to assist in our decision in what tent to buy. No leading us to a particular tent just giving us the facts. Which I checked by doing my own investigations. From that day the customer service has always been the same’Brilliant’ every member of staff are friendly and helpful

Came in this morning 17.6.20 at the Hull branch. Was greeted by Lee who is a most cheerful person, always happy to chat about all aspects of tenting. We have bought 3 tents and never been disappointed with his service. Today we were attended to by a lovely young woman, nothing was to much trouble for her. As we wanted a foot stool for one of our chairs she did her uppermost to help us . In the end we bought a new chair. I would just like to thank her for all her help. Fantastic shop with a massive range of products. We went in to look at tents and the staff member (Lee) spent a good half hour talking us through each tent, showing us the features and benefits of each tent and was also honest about the negative features. He listened to what we needed and pointed us in the right direction to the perfect tent. We rely it was a very friendly and personal experience and we were well looked after. Probably the largest and greatest outdoor shop I've ever stepped foot in. If you can't find it in here, I doubt that you really need it. Very extensive selection of tents and camping gear alongside outdoor and survival attire. Could spend hours looking and still not see everything, the selection of boots is also rather impressive in both men's and ladies footwear.

What an amazing place. Winfields in Hull is the place to go if looking for a tent or any outdoor equipment tbh . The tent display is amazing, staff are very helpful and not pushy sales people. The Manger Lee was amazing , nothing was any bother to him and in fact went out of his way to help. When leaving the store I felt that Lee really was interested In my custom but not in a negative way/ pushy.

Went to Winfields Outdoors today to purchase a waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers and waterproof boots. I was served by Asher Wilkin who was an extremely pleasant and very helpful girl. She spent a while helping me choose and giving me a good selection of products. Apparently Asher had only been employed by Winfields Outdoors for a couple a month and had a very good knowledge of the products that she was selling. She was encouraging and not pushing all the expensive items on me and let me choose what I required to pay. I came out of your shop an extremely happy bunny as I had purchased all the items I required in the one shop. My husband thought it was a very good experience as he always moans about shopping.

A good selection of rucksacks in various sizes, I got the 35 litre size, which in my opinion is a decent size. I can get everything in that I need. Plenty of choice in work wear too. Winfields could be better. Messy shelves, lots of staff about doing what I'm not sure. Pricing is high and I can't help but be a little offended when I am the only customer in the entire shop I have four things to try on but need to leave one item with the staff member stood directly outside the changing room for the entire time. Meaning I had to get undressed try the clothes on, get dressed go outside pick up the other item, get undressed then get dressed again. Perhaps I look like a professional shoplifter. Who knows.

There is access from the front and rear into the store once your in you will find a large selection of outdoor clothing with a large selection of brands. There is also a wide range of camping equipment on the ground floor, on the other two floor's there is a selection of tents and awnings and other equipment... There is a lift and escalater to get to the other floors
