Called in for a crossbow restringing. Unfortunately they don't deal with crossbows (I should have rung first) but the staff could not have been more helpful. Not only did they still check what I specifically needed, they then gave me the info for the best person to contact. And made sure that the person in question COULD help. From what I could see, this place has everything else an archer might want. Including repairs and advice whether you're a complete novice or part of the GB Team. Very happy with the service and I would definitely recommend.

Went to Aardvark today for the first time to buy a bow and the rest of the kit after finishing a beginner's course and joining a club. I had almost no idea what I wanted but they set me up with all the gear I needed, helped me decide on a riser out of the few I had in mind (they actually suggested I went with the cheaper one as well). Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Didn't upsell me anything they didn't think was worth it for my level. Happy with kit and the experience! Thanks Guys!

Great service from exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff (and volunteers). If you need to wait for repairs, you can do so in store, with a brew or a coffee, or you can visit local coffee shops. Used equipment can be purchased here as well to keep costs down if necessary. Thoroughly recommend this shop for all your archery needs.

The staff here are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and always good for a chat. The product range is great - I've never wanted something they either haven't got, or can't get in at a competitive price. The deliveries have always been on time, accurately supplied and well packaged, so even if you're not in the area, I'd still highly recommend them :)

I love this shop. I am a beginner archer and I'm still learning about the sport and equipment. The friendly knowledgeable staff helped me choose my first how, explaining the differences. I went for the full kit option which was great for value and bless the assistant, he had lots of patience and answers for my many questions. I have since been back to upgrade some if my items. Again service was second to none. I was also told I could have an arm guard made to measure as I have unusually slim arms which I am definitely going back for (the guy wasn't in). I can't fault the shop, the choice of equipment and the experience of the staff. I have recommended this shop to many already.

I've been into Aardvark a few times up to today with my partner when he was getting new bits or upgrades. Every time I've been I've always found the staff to be so helpful, funny and knowledgable. Today was my turn to go and purchase my own gear as a new archer and again, they were absolutley brilliant! Ian spent over 3hrs with us, setting up my partners new riser and setting me up with all my own stuff. We were not pressured, nor rushed and we actively encourage to take our time, try things out and see how it all felt. Needless to say we would recommend Aardvark to any archer and we will be regular customers for years to come!

Great place. I've been using club bow for a couple of months; Aardvark was a bit of a hike but recommended. Friendly staff, super efficient and they put together a package that helped to keep to my budget by swapping out a few bits to second hand. Just shot my new bow today and it's an instant and huge improvement. On the strength of my initial setup, I can't rate this shop highly enough.

Been here several times for limbs, arrows etc over the last 12 months been very helpful and happy to provide custom equipment. Went in yesterday for 2 strings for mine and the wife bows they were extremely helpful picking up on several issues with our bows, my wife's had too high a brace and was provided with a longer string to correct this. My bow was suffering from clearance issues and the staff spent around 1.5 hours investigating this changing the brace and rest to hopefully clean up the issue. Very professional, thankyou.

Thoroughly recommended: My wife and I both bought our bows through Aardvark after driving a 4 hour round trip to get there. We were not disappointed. The staff spent hours with us, measuring up, informing, explaining and then making sure that our bows were set up correctly. Their approach is not pushy and we were able to select the bits we wanted from the standard starter kit. Great customer service.

Emailed Ian the week before, and was given some sound non bias advice. Arrive as shop opened, where I was shown around offer tea and more solid advice, once I'd chosen my bow it was tuned and everything that could be transferred from my original bow was. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Would give a greater star rating if it were possible.

Walked into the store and within 2 minutes someone was with me and explaining what they offered to the new archer. I was allowed to try a few risers and was told to go for what felt right and there was no pressure to go for the more expensive options. After this my new bow was set up and I was tested to make sure I had the right arrows and was taken to get the other bits of kit I required. Each time I was told of all the options as well as the advantages and disadvantages. Once again there was no pressure to upgrade to the more expensive options. After this I got the last little things o wanted and after paying was treated to a pleasant chat while some additional arrows I had ordered where made and dried. At no point was I under any impression that the people I was dealing with didn't know what they where doing and I was under no pressure to spend more than I needed too. I will certainly be going back in the future as I develop as an archer.

I cannot more highly recommend Aardvark Archery. I was saved months of waiting because of their stock of rare parts. I lost the washer and cap screw for the windage block on my sight, and there was only one place on the entirety of the English speaking internet, or the rest of it so far as I could tell, that had the washer in stock. Neil was exemplary in his professionalism, promptness and pleasant helpfulness in getting through payment from and shipping to the States. Thank you again.

Bought a bow for myself a couple of months back, and returned to buy my daughter a bow last week. Both times, the staff (Debra last week) made us feel welcome and advised on the best set up for my daughter despite me not really knowing what she needed. Debra also picked up that my daughter doesn't really speak to new people and actually left us to talk alone when ever she saw this. I have no issue with recommending Aardvark to other budding archers and will certainly be returning for anything i need in the future (most likely a sight for the daughters bow!)

Aardvark were recommended to me by most of the members of my club, so as a new archer, I placed my trust in them and made the 90 minute drive. I was not disappointed. Luke spent three hours with me, taking measurements and advising on the equipment I needed, as opposed to what I wanted. He and the other members of staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and I was told my arrows would take an hour to build. I went to a nearby restaurant for some lunch and wnen I returned, Luke spent another hourcand a half with me, adjusting my new bow and letting me test shoot. All in all, a very good day and I am delighted with everything and would recommend Aardvark Archery to anyone.

Great archery shop for beginners and pros alike. I'm a regular visitor to Aardvark and I am always impressed by the service and products available. The shop is well stocked with recurve, compound and traditional equipment for all levels, and there is ample set up space to ensure your bow is set for peak performance. Being a coach I also send my novice archers to Aardvark as I trust the staff to ensure that a beginner archer will only ever walk out with a bow that is right for them. The staff do not jump on you and ram sales pitches down your throat as soon as you enter the shop (one of my bugbears of other shops), but they are friendly and offer expert advice. With their help you will not leave the shop until everything is perfect - and they will explain what they are doing so that you leave informed of what proper setup is. Aardvark has a reputation on the archery circuit of quality, fair prices and skilled advice. Whether you are looking for your first kit, or you've been shooting for years, I couldn't recommend it highly enough :)
