Always a pleasure going into Blacks, whether you are just browsing or you have some particular item to buy. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The store now also takes Amazon returns - no need for you to pack them. Just take them in.

Superb service today in Blacks today with knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant staff helping us to choose a pair of boots. This was in total contrast to the dismal service at Go Outdoors yesterday when we left without buying anything! Prices at Blacks were better too 😉

Great selection of camping goods. If you've made it in life and know that you'll never run out of money no matter how much you spend then this store is for you! Good quality equipment, however slightly overpriced. Could improve with adding a selection of hatchets, hunting knives, high caliber rifles, life insurance and beers.

There was a good choice of womens' winter walking coats in the January sale today. We looked at the 'Technical' brand as it is unfamiliar but we didn't like the main zip. We bought a longer length Jack Wolfskin for £150 that was reduced from £250. So, a quality coat and a good price . Happy Days!

Ok sort of place with a good selection of outdoor stuff. The camping equipment such as sleeping bags and the like isn't great quality but there's a decent range of clothing and footwear etc. Plenty of staff and quite helpful though the young greeters at the door seemed a bit bored...

Really happy with the sales, prices are great but I do only shop in sales as prices can be high compared to looking around. Staff always helpful and store clean and well managed.
