After recently taking up running I had been having a few issues with my ankles. I booked in for gait analysis and so happy I did. The staff are so friendly and patient as I tried on shoe after shoe for testing. They really know their stuff and I am thrilled with my purchase. Could not have been more helpful! I wanted a certain colour way of a type of shoes, and haven't been able to find them anyway. I got in touch with the Lincolnshire Runner as I saw some options on their website and they were helpful with sizing and choosing the colour way. Then they posted it down to me in London. As me and the wife are new to running and it's a mind field when looking for the right pair of trainers . So was advised to go and see there's guys now I was a little scared to go .as I thought it would be full of pros that would make us feel uncomfortable but was I wrong . The staff couldn't of been more friendly and helpful with an amazing amount of knowledge and made us feel welcome . They offered us a service were they have you run on a treadmill in a few pairs of trainers and they watch how you run to determine how you run and thus to whats best in the trainer department . We was so impressed we've both had this done and naught the right trainers that now make it a lot more comfortable to run and with no pains in our feet from doing so . I wouldn't hesitate to either go back or send anyone else there way .many thanks guys

I cannot recommend The Lincolnshire Runner enough. Having been fitted for running shoes a few years ago I wear Nike Structure 22 which are increasingly difficult to come by. Having trawled the internet (and unprepared to give my money to Amazon) I found some on their website and contacted the shop. Keith emailed me back right away. I ordered two pairs which were delivered the following day (I live in Scotland). Friendly service and great prices I will definitely shop there again. Thank you.

Keith and his team have always been very helpful and extremely knowledgable, giving sound advice and support for all levels of experience. We began using them from a recommendation when my kids first got into cross country running at school and I never realised having the right shoes makes a huge difference even for people just starting out. Going into store, getting the right advice is without doubt the best value for money. It may look a small store from the front but they have a huge range of stock and will order anything in they don’t have. We have had so much sound advice and competitively priced purchases from them over the years. Excellent customer service After years of running on a very basic pair of running shoes, it was time to upgrade! I went for the gait analysis and Mark was brilliant, we found I needed additional inner support and he was able to recommend several pairs of shoes that would help. After trying multiple pairs on and giving feedback on each (followed by another suggestion by Mark which of course then solved the issue) I left with a brilliant pair of running shoes that I'm sure will make a huge difference. Mark's knowledge and patience is a huge credit to you and I will certainly be recommending you to others, I could not have received better service, thank you!

I can highly recommend Lincolnshire Runner. Having previously experienced such a diabolical service at Metres to Miles, Epworth, I was hesitant to try a specialist running shop again but I am so pleased that I did. These guys really do know there stuff, incredible knowledge and there treadmill and camera set up is spot on. They are patient, nothing is too much trouble. I must have tried on 8 pairs of shoes before we agreed on the perfect one’s for me as a serious over-pronator. In addition, I was able to obtain stability trail shoes, which is something I have been unable to find previously. I believe you get what you pay for in life and service is a key factor, something that is very difficult to put a price on. LR provide it all and I will certainly go out of my way to recommend them to friends in the future. Great job guys!!

Popped in here to get some proper running shoes to sort out my flat feet and received great service. Very knowledgeable and happy for me to try on loads of different shoes before making a decision. My wife Julie and I have just purchased three pairs of Brooks foot wear as we are both having problems with our feet, these problems are not trivial and we have tried more footwear on than I care to mention, they have all been been recommended brands. Mark looked after us, and I can't praise him highly enough, he gave us plenty of time despite the shop being very busy, patience and the benefit of his knowledge, he was professional and friendly, not at all pushy ! Best place to buy running kit, definitely in Lincoln but, in my experience so far, globally. Sure you might be able to save a few quid buying online(careful, I checked on my most recent purchase and wouldn't have saved anything so its not guaranteed) but a) you can't try the shoes b) you don't have the benefit of the experienced, seasoned expert advice about what you're buying and c) the high street needs shops like this. Don't know if anyone remembers Ray Inkley's bike shop but if you do you'll know what I mean. Keep up the good work.

I've been going to The Lincolnshire Runner for my running shoes for over 10 years. The service is excellent, and I've always been very pleased with the shoe they find for me. Although I've now moved away from Lincoln, I still postpone my shoe buying until I'm visiting friends in the area just so I can buy them from here. I really cannot recommend it enough to any new or experienced runners!

I have always used online and non specialist sports shops in the past... Big mistake! I was recommended to go to Lincolnshire Runner by my more experienced running friends and was worried they may put pressure on me to buy the more expensive brands. I have been proven very wrong today, I believed that I required a running shoe for over pronation and have always made my purchases based on this but after analysis find I am better suited to neutral styles. The range is extensive and the the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic so I came away with the perfect shoe and a renewed feel for the sport... Thank you for all your help. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently called in basically for advice, as, at 72, I had decided to try the C25K, but sustained an injury two weeks in! Lucian patiently listened to my story and proceeded to give possible reasons for my injury and advised me of the virtues of correct footwear. A few days later I went back and saw Keith, the owner, who did a gait analysis and spent considerable time sorting the correct footwear for me, he also advised me to wear compression socks when running, and gave me exercises for the achilles and calf muscle. Everyone in the shop was knowledgeable, supportive, friendly and gave good sound advice. Highly recommended!!

After buying running shoes elswhere, coupled with incorrect advise, I was told I have flat feet, the opposite is true, I have a high arch in need of cushioning. I was nervous to say the least about shopping for more trainers, I'm farely new to running I've been doing it about 9 months starting with te couch to 5K. But the staff here are amazing very well informed, and even in a busy environment took their time to find me the correct fit, I ran 10k today in my new shoes what a difference they have made to my comfort, they are not miracle workers so I still feel the effort needed :) thankyou so much Lincolnshire Runner for your experiece and fab customer service
