this place has sheltered me, looked after me when ANY issue has happened to my setup on top of that they have always been welcoming and supportive in all i need and also what i do in life. what i have always noticed is how supportive to the youth they are and the energy the team gives towards women getting involved in the skate scene always open arms. its a fact when people say the best skate shop in london!!

Came in a couple weeks ago quite late there was only one of the guys who i think owns it in there and he was proper nice im new to skating and the guy wasnt judging or condescending just shared knowledge with me about it and had a good talk about other things. Built the board for me too from scratch. Been following the brand for a long time always try pick up a peice from selfridges but only been to store once when i get my board. Overall couldnt be a better pocket to put my money into The store is sick The people are blessed just hoping for more success and prosperity for Brixtons Baddest !!

They don't stock those electric unicycles as yet, which is what I went in there for, but I came away with a full set of PPE (knees,wrist,helmet) and a sense that I'd just shopped in THE best independent skateshop in the South of London. Super friendly staff, fuelled on Portuguese custard tarts and tea. Made me feel like I was in Surrey Skates again in 1994. Radical, eat my shorts, and a hearty cowabunga to all the crew there X

Great local skate shop and I got all I needed. However, I'd have loved to experience it the same way the others reviewers did, but the dude who served us was seriously way to cool/arrogant. The customer service attitude displayed makes me seriously wonder why I should buy locally rather than online! If I ever felt someone couldn't be bothered about us buying then it was this occasion. Not sure if we'll return to serve my kids' and my old dad's skateboarding needs. Carrying your cash elsewhere may result in a better experience

The magic of a small business that cares about what they do is they serve you well because they want you to kick a** in your own way. I am a middle aged newbie with a young kid wanting to thrash with me at the skatepark. I needed help and tips and they were there and even threw in some extra stickers to make my board look more legit. Fair prices and you are supporting a community rather than a corporate. Skate on!

I was desperate for some new bearings and hadn’t changed them myself before. The staff were so helpful, taught me how to do it and even changed the set for me there and then. They had every opportunity to up-sell me but just told me what I needed for the job. The shop may be called Brixton’s Baddest, but they’re actually Brixton’s Nicest.
