Careful and thorough help in fitting the right ski boots for me. Informative discussion on the relative features of each boot style, and explanations of why other attractive looking boots would not be suitable for my weight and level of skill. Plenty of choice, both price point and make of boot. Great service. Highly recommended.

After a short call with the shop I was told I can come in for snowboard boot fitting. Chris (I hope I remember your name correctly, apologies if not) has been helping me throughout the whole process (which took shy of over 2hrs) and he has been amazing. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I've walked away with a new pair of boots and as a first experience, with my odd feet, I'm fortunate to have the shop so close to home. Very happy !

Legendary establishment. London's last independent ski snowboard and bike store. Family owned and run since 1947. Hugely knowledgeable, massive amounts of info and advice available, even have blackboard with constantly updated snow stats for Austria / France / Italy / Switzerland / USA. Bought ski boots today, will be back soon for skis. End of season sale currently on, 20% off most stock. Highly recommended.

Amazing family run business. Has been my local sports shop for decades now. Fron trainers as a kid, to keeping my bikes running now in my mid life crisis. Always helpful, chatty and most of all fair on price. I'm a fan of supporting your local bike shop, and Finches makes that an easy decision. Can't recommend them enough. Trusted long-running family business specialising in bikes, etc & snow sports (plus skateboards n' swim gear); I feel lucky that they're just around the corner from my new(ish) south Londinium abode. They were absolutely there for me when I needed bike repairs and adjustments. Quickly got to know everyone's name (including the hound!), & didn't charge me an arm and a leg; I even paid my dues in ale on one visit (after several)! Lööking forward to their boozey "winter sports- Glühwein" soirée on 7 November. (Check their website) T'is a rarity that I tick the accept "Marketing" options/ box, but Finches Emporium is certainly an exception. For snow lovers, they've got just about everything you'd want (other than motorized mobiles?, tho they'd probably order one for you!), and at much less than central London/ Covent Garden, etc £€$¥ prices. Absolutely NO SALES PRESSURE; they genuinely want to supply what you want from them. And, at reasonable prices, with a smile. Shop with confidence! (...& now they have a tattoo parlour on-site too - to which I was treated to a private tour - for those so inclined...) Shops like this deserve support. ... & "shopping" should/ can be enjoyed! 🤠 ;)

I visited this shop to buy a ski helmet and clothing. The service was excellent and I highly recommend them. It’s great to find a shop where they really know their stuff!

Just had a long overdue full service of my road bike - feels like new! really happy with Dan's service - super thorough and talked through all the options for fixing/replacing parts. So refreshing when a lot of other places just give you the quote/bill, no discussion.

Fabulous snow sports shop with huge range of skis, boards, clothing and equipment. All of the staff are hugely enthusiastic and have in depth tech knowledge and a passion for the mountains; and therefore know how to get you you sorted right. No need to shop online as they will price match and you actually get second to none customer service. Probably my favourite shop to visit in London.

When I went into the shop, the staff were very friendly and helpful and they were more than happy for me to try on several different pairs of snowboard boots. Had some fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable staff helping us buy ski boots. Best shop I have ever been to for a ski boot fitting. As it was a cold day they even offered us all a complimentary glass of mulled wine heated on the log burner! Very happy customers :)

Better than ski shops in the Alps. I went in looking for ski touring skis, they have a vast better stock than just about any ski shop you'll visit in a resort or even in Chamonix. They knew their stuff too, amazing placed. Really good rates for servicing skis although haven't tried that yet.

Great independent shop for ski, snowboard and cycle gear. Not as flash as some of the chains but 100% better. Huge range of kit and plenty of stock. Friendly staff who know what they're talking about and spend the time to get you set up right. Couldn't recommend this place more.

I rented ski goods from Finches and they were well priced and good quality. I also had my bike serviced by them and the work done was outstanding. I will always use them.

Got my skis serviced and bindings adjusted. After one day on the slopes I realised one of the bindings had slid back so they were uneven. Took skis to ski shop in Innsbruck and the guy readjusted and tightened up a screw that wasn't screwed in properly... Shame because customer service was good and I liked the shop but a bit reluctant to go back after this experience.

After having my bike serviced at Finches, I just wanted to say how helpful the staff were when I was choosing my new winter lights for my bike. Now lit up like a Christmas tree (no pun intended...). Always worth a visit, particularly now the winter season is fast approaching. Be looking at ski boots next....

Great shop with great stock as you can see on Google Maps . Really kowledgeable bike mechanichs but the thing that most surprised me is that they always try to do what is best for the customer even when it goes against their personal interest. Lovely staff. Definitely reccomended
