Absolutely brilliant customer service - highly recommended for anyone looking at getting into Snowboarding. The team are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about snowboarding and were able to quickly resolve issues I was having with the fit of my boots.

Popped in today to look for a paddle board, although what was in stock was out of my price range the gentleman who I spoke to was really helpful and advised me on what I would need as a beginner and I appreciate his helpfulness. I will be sure to come back in if I decide to take up skateboarding as their is a wide range of stock in the store :)

If you are looking at purchasing boarding equipment, look no further than Subvert, they are independent and actually care about their customers! I have recently starting Snowboarding and I have been to look at other shops which were not bothered about helping but I have to say the level of service from Subvert, especially Vicky was absolutely brilliant, Vicky was able to recommend boots, bindings and board and she actually seemed to care about looking after the customer, there was no pressure and she allowed me to try several items without becoming frustrated, in all it took me a couple of hours to decide on which items to buy. I also met some of the other employees, I think one was named Lewis, they were both brilliant and I would like to say thank you to Vicky, Lewis and the whole team for helping with the purchases. Keep up the excellent service!

Best boardstore around! Great gear, great people, great place. I bought a full set up last year but a broken leg delayed me really getting into it. Started again recently and was experiencing some really bad foot pain. The guys are really knowledgable, they widened my boots, adjusted my set up etc free of charge and really took care of me. Best customer service going especially Vicky she’s a star! Get down to subvert my people.

Quality! Spent a solid 90 mins with Matt a couple of weeks ago choosing some boots. As a beginner, I found the hire boots from Chillfactore seriously uncomfortable. I explained where I was with my progress and what I was after and was treat no differently to the more experienced riders in there. Felt well at home, had a good gas and ultimately walked out with some boots that are close to replacing my slippers. New loyal customer here 😎

Honestly this store is fabulous in so many ways, not only great stock but also great staff. My son is forever in there after snowboarding getting tips from Brandon who is amazing with him. My son is autistic and asks a million questions and they answer them all with a smile! The only place to go to get kitted out

I walked in this shop and it was like everything I could hope for. Lovely girl on the desk, I asked a guy (Keith) for help and info as I’m new to snowboarding. I ended up spending £1200!😃 couldn’t be happier. Honestly Keith is fantastic, he gave me all the guidance I needed. I feel 100% confident that I have all the stuff I need to start my journey. Il be in there every week to buy some goodies now and won’t go anywhere else. Perfect team!.

Brilliant store with 1st class service , twice I've had equipment failure and both times with no hesitation they repaired it or helped me to, the 2nd time was with a belt failure on my electric skateboard, even though they don't do them, they still lent me the tools to repair it myself, great staff that go above and beyond to be helpful

Every time I go snowboarding at Chillfactore I always pop into Subvert even just to browse the new stock. The best boardstore! Staff are amazing, they know the products inside and out and have a passion for snowboarding and skating. They take time with customers, explain all the technical info and really care that the customer gets the best kit for their needs. Nothing is too much trouble and the place is so friendly. I've seen items cheaper online but I'll happily pay the extra at Subvert to support an amazing independent store, Chill Factore wouldn't be the same without it. ♥️

My first experience with these guys was me reaching out them via Instagram to ask some advice on types of boards that might be suitable for my style. They responded with a list of boards they had available with no hard sell. Just free advice. I found them to be the cheapest in the UK market too. Friendly, speedy customer service. Went in to the Chill Factore to buy some Impact Shorts in advance of my snowboarding lesson. The Subvert store was the most helpful and friendly. The staff were great and gave honest advice on which other products were useful and relevant for my level of (or lack thereof) skill. I will definitely return in the future for other equipment. It should be noted I also visited 'Snow + Rock' and the staff there were uninterested and lacking in customer service.

Subvert Board Store is an absolute Gem. Having been snowboarding for many years and visiting all the commonly known national shops with average service, we wouldn’t now go anywhere else. Subvert have service that is second to none and the knowledge of the staff can’t be beaten. I've visited this store countless times and only ever made one purchase, regardless the staff are always really welcoming, especially with the kids who are now loaded up with all sorts of stickers and goodies! When I decided to make a ridiculously expensive purchase of Burton Step Ons, this was always going to be the only place I'd go to. After an age of random chatting with what seem like genuine friends, I got the boots and bindings of my dreams, a ridiculously amazing deal on a board and a beer with the guys while watching an event on the projector. What incredible service. I will never buy snow gear anywhere else. Even if you're not buying, go visit this place. Bloody fantastic. 👍

Went skiing for the first time in 3 or 4 years... Forgot all about how wet you get in snow if you're rolling about in it 😂 didn't have a change of clothing and was soaking...so popped in for some shorts and a t shirt so I could drive home dry...Sadly no shorts so the gent lent me his own spare burton pants! I bought a well priced t shirt and after a chat with the very knowledgeable staff, will be going back again for footbeds and a few other bits. Great store and staff! Cannot recommend enough 😊😊😊

If you're a snowboarder don't go to a general snow sports shop, these guys know what they're doing. They're friendly and give practical advice. I went in for snowboard boots and they made sure I compared all the right boots for my skill level, talked me through how they should feel, told me to wear them inside if they weren't right then bring them back if not. I went back for the free heat moulding service and went on the slope for the first time yesterday. The change in my style and skill was unbelievable, I felt so in control and just whipped down the slope.

Went in over the weekend to buy some gear to get me up and running boarding. The level of service was fantastic. I was walked through all the options and even though he knew I was there to spend money he didn't just through the most expensive options at me, he really went into what would be best for me and my needs. He took the time to size me up and when trying boots even heated them up to stretch them out for me to ensure it was the perfect fit for me. They then set up my new board and bindings and made sure i was comfortable in them. Really couldn't fault the store and service. Defiantly will be returning to buy anything I need in the future. I have bought snowboard boots off these guys twice now over couple of years. And they have given me great advice on both occasions. You can't chance a boot fit!. The last set of boots I bought developed a fault.... So I popped down to show them the fault and they sorted me out with a replacement very quickly. BEST SALES STAFF EVER !!!!!!
