I’ve bought 3 sets of DKN dumbbells from these guys. Delivery has been excellent. The weights are great and delivery was free. I could have bought my weights from Amazon but I got a better product at better price and better service. Many thanks.

With a surging demand for home gym equipment there are a lot of unfamiliar retailers online with various quality, but after ordering a bench from Sweatband I was very impressed. Next day shipping. Great price. And the bench is a very good study build and construction. So overall this retailer seems to be legit and reliable from my experience.

This is an update to my review as they replaced the faulty treadmill quickly. I was really pleased at first and was thinking I would give a five star review as the communication was fast when they arranged delivery and it was delivered promptly. It was actually one of the best heavy goods delivery processes I've experienced. When it arrived however the display on the treadmill didn't work and it didn't run. Their communication regarding complaints was not as fast as when arranging delivery. If they addressed their issues with the phone (nobody answers) I would give them five stars. I think an automated response to emails saying you have recieved the email and will get back in "x" amount of hours would also help. I sent a couple of emails and they did get back to me after a day or so. Once they got in touch they arranged a replacement straight away and they picked up the old one a day later. Overall the delivery and initial communications were five stars. The aftercare needs a little improving in terms of response management but the lady I spoke to eventually was very helpful and friendly and the resolution of the matter was excellent.

Ive deleted the initial rating and review because I received a response and it's not fair to leave a bad review regarding something I'm not 100% sure about. I relayed the information given to me by nordictrack customer support when I called them. They told me I have the older version of the treadmill. I'll have my son double check when he comes to make sure I didn't make a mistake. I apologise if it was my misunderstanding.

The set of York dumbbells I ordered were faulty, but the staff responded within minutes and quickly arranged a replacement set (in perfect working order) that arrived a day later. Fantastic customer service -- the type of business that deserves success. Thanks.

This was the only place to have dumbbells in stock, we ordered them and expected to wait about 10 days for delivery, but they turned up within 3 days. Disappointed at first as the spin locks were not in the package, so i called them, got through without having to wait and instead of just sending the spin locks, they actually sent out a new set of dumbbells which arrived the following day! What fantastic customer service. Will definitely recommend you to others.

I have ordered with them my Viavito cross trainer, very smooth and nice experience with the customer service. The equipment arrived safe straight to my door (1st floor) and the installation was very easy thanks to the smart way it was packed and the instructions (booklet & video available on the website - video is great and helps a lot). It works great also. My only issue was when I somehow accidentally broke the plug of the charger (the end going into the machine) after installing, it was a Sunday evening when I wrote to them to kindly ask them for a replacement, and to my surprise (as they didn't reply to my email) on Tuesday lunch I was delivered FOC a new one via DHL (sent on Monday morning already)! What an amazing service, it is not often that you encounter such a great customer care, truly grateful for their effort! Also when placing the order, because the item was going to be brought in stock the next day only (they've let me know by email), they have postponed charging my card until the item was ready for dispatch 👍

I pre ordered a multi gym from Sweatband a few weeks back when they were impossible to get hold of. The gym arrived in stock with Sweatband a couple of days earlier than expected and they contacted me straight away to let me know and to arrange delivery. The delivery company (Panther) were great in keeping me up to date with tracking info. Unfortunately my order was only part delivered due the courier losing one of the items. However this wasn't Sweatbands fault and Maria in after sales was great at getting this resolved for me by dispatching a replacement item on a next day service with DHL. Great communication throughout. Packaging recieved in perfect condition. Not put together yet but I'm sure all will be fine.

I was looking for a new tennis racquet and came across Sweatband. I had the pleasure to go into the shop twice and I was not disappointed. The lady who served me was super friendly and helpful. She gave me some good advice and answered any questions I had. I ended up purchasing a racquet from here and I'm delighted with it. I'd definitely recommend buying from here and it was so nice to see a independent sports shop thriving and with a good selection of racquets to choose from. If I have anything else I need sporting-wise then I'll be coming here!

After being treated like rubbish by NordicTrack (ICON) I called Sweatband for advice. A world of difference, I got a more suitable machine, guidance, and treated like an individual. And... the machine was much better value! I'm looking forward to the delivery in a few days time! Would DEFINITELY recommend looking at these folks before others.

Great little racket sport and fitness shop. A wide selection of squash, tennis, and even ping pong rackets in addition to treadmills and other various fitness equipment. We came here to buy a squash racket for my girl friend and the sales person was incredibly helpful and gave us good honest advice instead of just pushing us to purchase one of the more expensive rackets. Will definitely come here again for all of our squash needs and to get rackets restrung.

I was in need of a particular squash racket, and it wasnt available in India. So when I found out that my friend was travelling to London, I mailed sweatband and checked if they could hold the rackets for me. Michael replied that they didnt have stock at this particular London store. But he ensured that the store got the stock on time for my friend who was visiting in a week. All the communication was done just via email, and their replies were prompt, without keeping me guessing. Michael and Brad's coordination was excellent, and Im very impressed with their efforts, which ensured that my friend had a pleasant experience when he visited the store. And an additional 5 stars for them having their store open till 6pm on a saturday... if not for this, I wouldnt have been able to get the rackets, as my friend was in London only on Saturday and Sunday. Very impressed!

Well, what a strange place, There were variety of sporting equipment to accessories. I wasn't even sure if it was a shop before I went in to purchase a pair of gloves. So what can I say, they obviously didn't have what I was after but had an alternative. Apparently its the front end to their Sweatband website, which sells loads more items. The staff member was quite helpful though. They should move or at least temporarily set up shop in oxford street as the cheapo souvenir stores do, so that people can find them. Currently seems to be stuck in retail no mans land, but then again this could be the way they keep their online prices low.

They know their racquet sports. Although not as glamorous as Wigmore Sports they are more focused on customer requirements rather than sales, and their prices are keen too.
