Was looking for a difficult to obtain extractor claw. Emailed Bagnall and Kirkwood to see if they could source one. Had a response within a matter of hours (if not within the hour) stating that they have listed it as a special item on their website to order. Placed the order. Chased up just over a week later to see what the progress was and was treated with empathy as opposed to being dismissed. Gentleman I spoke to said he'd look into it and call back. True to his word, he called back and said they've taken delivery from their supplier and it was being dispatched right away.... And indeed it was. I've now installed it and can enjoy my rifle again! Many thanks to Bagnall and Kirkwood. I am not sure how their prices compare to others. However, the service I have received makes me feel that the money I spent on the part was more than reasonable. I've spent an amount I was happy to spend and they delivered the goods in a friendly and professional manner... You can't really ask for more. Such service in the shooting sports trade is a rarity.

Over the last few months we have obtained several items from the store. One had a problem, and this was delay with completely perfectly. Most recently they have sourced a pistol, ordered it in especially within 48 hours and charged standard price - no delivery free or finders fee. Kept in touch via email perfectly and made the whole experience stress free. Will continue to visit and use this excellent shop and I’m really grateful for a proper “bricks and mortar” store to look at items and make better choices.

I have to drop 5 stars as the service I received was amazing, all via email and even with me bombarding them with questions every 5 mins. I went to this shop as a total novice, with only a very limited idea of what I wanted. But the lads at the shop showed me various options and after my first choice wasn’t the right one I settled for a BSA r10 and after a few teething problems ( my fault) the lads at the shop talked me through what I was doing wrong. Since then I’ve had a few good days shooting i would definitely recommend them.

Top quality customer service and they've earned a life long customer. Had a couple of repeat issues with a co2 pistol which involved a few trips between Carlisle and Newcastle they told me to return the pistol and they would refund me but I picked another rifle which involved additional cost, when I arrived at the shop today to swap and pay the additional cost they informed me they had waivered the extra payment due to the travelling back and forth. Nice friendly staff and I look forward to seeing them in the future

Bought the new umarex legends m1a1tommy gun, plus a umarex mp5. The guy who served me knew what he was talking about, and we had a good bit banter. Very old school gun shop, they listen to your needs and guide you to your goal. They are reasonably priced too. The selection of stock covers all aspects of shooting from plinking air guns to high end target ones. Shotguns of all qualities except rubbish and Sec.1 rifles to suit all disciplines. Ammunition for all and reloading kit too. Ring them to see if they have what you want and they will tell you the best time to call in for a chat or if you live nearby just pop in and have a look for yourself.

Bagnall and Kirkwood stock an excellent range of spares for airguns, the site is very well organised and gives confidence that you are ordering the correct part. These guys did me proud, even when there was a glitch with delivery (my fault) they didn't miss a beat and got the parts to me without fuss or further expense! A location / locking screw snapped in one of my weaver mounts, as I bought my Sako .308 from Bagnall & Kirkwood I decided to visit them during the Christmas period. The guys who dealt with me were so helpful about sourcing a replacement for me. The screw in question arrived promptly & is now fitted. I was visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada and stumbled across the shop, much to my delight! I was warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lengthy conversation about fly fishing, pattern selection, and technique. I could have spent much more time, but my friend was getting impatient so I had to carry on. I wish I could remember the names of the two gents with whom I spoke, but one ties great buzzer patterns. These guys are a great resource and treated me well, even though I bought only one fly! If I ever get the chance to visit Newcastle again, I'll definitely pop in.

Amazing! - I decided upon receiving my license to make a full day of looking around every shop and not just purchase the first local RFD... i visited 8 stores lastly arriving at Bagnall & Kirkwood of which i knew i was at the right store i purchased a "highly tweaked rimfire magic Ruger 10/22" and a "Henry Bigboy .357 Mag" i would not waste your time looking around other stores this is the one stop shop rating the help i received from Alan and the stock in the store as amazing! i cant recommend this store enough!!

fantastic expiriences from this shop would reccoment, up to now ive ordered a 1911 dan wesson 715 and a daystate air rifle, all of witch have been fantastic, my only issue is wtih the daystate rifle breaking after 2 month and having to be sent for repair, it came back with server damage to the gun such as scratches and dints that i didnt put on, the shop offered me a refund or a replacement imidetly and spoke to daystate on my behalf would recommend to anyone

Amazing service. I was trying to source a specific pair of socks for my kilt outfit ahead of my wedding in a few weeks time and had been let down by a couple of other suppliers who’s website said they were in stock when they were not. Phoned Bagnall and Kirkwood to confirm they actually had them available, which they did. The member of staff said he’d put them aside and wait for my order to come through. This was at 2pm. Fast forward to 10am the following day and I have them in hand. Great experience all round. Thanks again!
