I originally ordered online only for the sizes I’d ordered to be completely wrong (my mistake) I rang the shop to ask about how to return them and the lady kindly suggested as we were local, to pop into the store as it’s really hard to get the perfect fit going by size alone. When we went to she shop, we were greeted by Lynn who swiftly selected a couple of swimsuits to get the right size for my daughter, these were way off what I’d ordered! Once we got the right sizes Lynn then found the right style of swimsuits to get the perfect fit for my daughters body shapes. We were all so happy we decided to get the girls fitted for new goggles while we were there, again Lynn had many different styles for them to try to ensure they got what suited their face shapes. So happy with the service and advice, will definitely be back soon. Thanks again 2 happy girls and a happy mummy!

Our first experience with the pop up shop at ponds forge for the Yorkshires. Treated my son to new training and racing goggles. Didn’t catch the man’s name, he was very professional and friendly. He had my son try multiple different pairs to make sure each item fit properly and felt good on him. We had no price limit as they were a treat and it was a nice surprise to see, when I checked the store online later the goggles we tried had ranged from £10-£30+ but there was absolutely no push for us to buy the expensive ones. He genuinely wanted my son to have the ones that fit him best, whereas other places would’ve probably tried to push the more expensive ones on us. We chatted about swimming and he knows his stuff, saw him again the next day and he was great with my son again. Also nice to know their shop sells branded items at a fair bit cheaper than I’ve seen elsewhere! I’ll be doing an online order soon. Thanks.

Great shop, well stocked with all of the swimming essentials from some of the biggest brands. Lovely lady on the counter was very helpful and ensured I got exactly what I wanted. Prices are very good too.

Had a great experience. My first time ordering a skin suit for my daughter. I measured her as I thought correctly but wrong as the suit that arrived (very promptly) was too small. After sending it back I received a larger replacement (again promptly). The lovely touch was a note included guiding us to you-tube videos of how to put these suits on. A nice thought. I will certainly be looking on Ness' website in future when my daughter needs a new swimsuit. And she got a first in 400m crawl!!!! Thanks Ness, great service.

With our daughter moving up a level in her local swimming club there was a requirement to purchase new swimwear and ancillary swimming aids. Ness Swimwear was recommend by a fellow parent and after paying a visit to the outlet for the first time we can't recommend the establishment highly enough. Good quality swimwear, better still great assistance and insight by the proprietor who went out of his way to ensure our daughter had the right items going forward.

I was struggling to find a swimsuit for my daughter as most shops had sold out due to the hot weather. I visited Ness swimwear in swalwell, which was really easy to find. I was really impressed with the variety and quality of stock available. Lynn greeted us with a warm welcome and talked us through each style of swimwear they stocked to suit our requirements. Fitting rooms were available and we were encouraged to try on different styles and sizes to ensure we made the correct choice. I would highly recommend Ness swimwear, the stock is beautiful and the best assortment I have seen, the only problem was selecting just one…we could have bought much more!

Excellent service. Lynn went above and beyond to ensure that the open water wetsuit we bought was a great fit for my son. She was really knowledgeable about how to get the best fit and gave us loads of tips about how to look after it and make it easier for him to take on and off. She was more committed to ensuring we got a perfect fit and good value for money rather than buying a wetsuit that was less than perfect for us . Very highly recommended. Will shop there for all our swimming stuff now .

We have really missed seeing Ness at swimming competitions over the past 15 months. They sell everything our competitive swimmer needs. We have visited the store a couple of times over the past year, buying a wetsuit as well as other essentials for indoor training and have ordered online as well. My husband visited with my 3 year old son to buy some goggles as our previous pairs didn't fit properly. They had a great experience! They guy in the shop was very helpful and great with my son. I took my 15 year old for a new racing costume today and my experience could not have been better. The shop was totally covid-secure and the staff extremely helpful. The lady took measurements and details of swim level and showed us a range racing costumes in our price range. My daughter was able to try on the costumes and choose one. Despite the complications of the last year I noticed there was still a big array of training costumes, racing suits, coats and accessories. We were made extremely welcome and able to spend time discussing our needs and choosing. I would definitely recommend this shop to swimmers.

Absolutely wonderful shop! Went to buy a new wetsuit for OWS. The couple running the shop were so helpful in explaining everything I needed to know. They absolutely didn’t give any pressure to buy anything and actually recommended the best value wetsuit. This place is the definition of why you should by from small business. If you're not sure what size you are or what style is best, the guys at Ness will sort you out. They always know what size swim suit or leg suit my daughter needs better than she does. Today was the first time we have been in the shop, my daughter was looking for a new bikini. The lady was so so helpful, she sorted them all into the correct size making it so much easier for my daughter to see what she could choose from. She also promoted all of the sale items meaning we got a bargain. Whilst there we also bought a pair of flip flops, I have a delighted 10 year old who can't wait to go back again. We would definitely recommend this little hidden gem of a shop

Very friendly staff and they couldn't do enough to help, they have a vast amount of stock and are always up to date with the latest styles. Very competitive on prices with frequent offers both in store and online. We visited during covid regulations and felt very safe all the correct precautions were in place we miss the galas to pick up equipment so will be back very soon.

Excellent customer service provided in the shop & was able to try numerous pairs of goggles to find the right ones. I bought Zoggs Predator as I specifically needed them for the 3.8k sea swim section of Ironman Barcelona. The swim was shortened considerably due to high winds and enormous seas. My goggles stayed firmly in place and gave me the clear vision I needed to spot the buoys over the waves.
