St James Park was great, a very good 90 minute tour of the stadium with a tour guide, Olivia, that was clearly happy to be there. Lots of banter and chatting with everyone and a ton to look at in and around the stadium. The shop was looking a bit bare, but between seasons and with everything on sale, it's to be expected a bit.

Attended the Cambridge utd FA cup 3rd round match, which I was sure the toon couldn't lose. I was even more excited when I saw the full strength team Newcastle fielded! Needless to say the result was rubbish. That said, the atmosphere was brilliant for the 1st half and the supporters are well educated in football terms and offer interesting insight, peppered with colourful language which my kids found hilarious

My son who is autistic was attending his first game vs Aston Villa at the Cathedral on the hill; I really wanted him to have a shirt, with his name on, and number 9; You'd think on match day the staff would be too busy to help us' Nope, they were amazing; to the extent one of them took the shirt upstairs to have his name, and number on. What a lovely bunch of people they are. I appreciate you all very much, for your understanding, and compassion, every single member of staff, but especially Joel who introduced himself to my son with a big smile, and a wave. When I put the shirt on him, there was a little cheer, and small round of applause around us. Made his day. Oh, and the Toon won 🙂

Just popped in club shop to get some great deals on merchandise, then to Shearers bar for some food. The staff at both very helpful and very friendly. The ground is a wonderful site and a pleasure just being near it.

About time I visited, not quite as imposing as it seems, but excellent time can be spent in shop. Stadium tour is 90 minutes and only £15, which I say is great value, with your guides who are well prepped.

I will be in here more than anywhere else if I could be it's the best store in the north east and it's under st James park near the strawberry pub and it's easy to find and near to the metro station and close to bus stops and you can get to via the main road
