Highly recommend going here. Very knowledge and patient when it came to finding the right trainers. Gait analysis was interesting and enabled me to buy appropriate running shoes. I can’t wait to try them! Fabulous customer service and looking forward to returning for any further running needs

Friendly, decent prices and a knowledgeable treadmill test to help understand your running style. Treadmill test is free with purchasing a pair of shoes, and they are very understanding with budgets - didn't try to upsell me on the most expensive shoes or anything like that. Chap had a good sense of humour and I even got a couple of free old running magazines. Very happy, would visit again!

As a newbie to running having only completed couch25k this year I didn't know what to expect from visiting a running shoe shop. I'm very happy to say that I had an excellent, thorough yet relaxed and friendly gait analysis at Love Running with Jo Randall today. Jo very clearly explained the process, what she could see in my gait and demonstrated to me what the video analysis picked up. Jo encouraged me to try on quite a few pairs of trainers and we discussed how they each felt and what difference they were making and I left very happy with my purchase of a new pair of trainers. They had trainers at different price points and in different styles that would have suited me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Love Running to anyone interested in running from a complete novice to the very experienced.

As soon as I walked in to this shop I was pleasantly surprised by the range and availability of the running related footwear and accessories. Genuinely friendly and helpful service, from Jo, was gratefully received, as both my wife and I were looking for running shoes. Nothing was too much trouble and we spent almost an hour with Jo, in the end. We both found suitable footwear and very much enjoyed our ‘Love Running’ experience, thank you.

What a gem this place is. It was recommended to me by a friend. I went there today for some new running shoes and was bowled over by the customer service and enthusiasm. I tried on at least half a dozen pairs all of which I’d have been happy with. I always used to buy my running shoes online but I’ll definitely be coming here instead from now on. They have everything. Looking forward to trying my new shoes out.

I LOVE, Love Running! Simon and Jo are super friendly and knowledgeable. You can try the shoes in advance and get something that works for you, rather than buying something random online or from a chain just to save a few £. I don't go anywhere else for my running shoes and don't think anyone else on the Island should either! ;-)

They don't force or pressure you into buying anything at all, you can just have a look around and ask questions about their products - they're very knowledgeable about their stock and are committed to promoting running as both leisure and sporting activities for all demographics. They also offer gait analysis services for a small fee (or free if you're buying shoes) to help you get the most out of your equipment. If you run on the island, this is a one stop shop for everything you need!

What a great little shop. So focused on customer service. My wife and I went to Love Running by appointment and had the gait analysis before buying shoes. Very professional and we came away with some lovely Brooks running shoes. From the analysis we were able to identify a problem with my gait and as such the appropriate footwear was chosen. You won’t be disappointed. I wish the proprietors well.

Amazing local shop, I managed to get a great pair of training shoes, perfect for my needs for a very good price. The friendly staff were easily able to answer all of my questions about the shoes and they found me the perfect pair. Fantastic one-stop shop for all your running needs. The best thing about this little shop is the amazing (free) service - gait analysis, consultation, and a huge range of trainers tailored to how you run/your needs. The difference this has made to my running has been incredible. Since the consultation and my new trainers the pain in my shins from impact has been eliminated.

Fab! Had my gait analysis done for £20. No pressure to try on shoes after at all. I asked to try some which he recommended based on my gait. Again no pressure to buy. I've checked and they're only £2 cheaper on amazon! Shop local!

I was recommended to go and see Jo at Love Running by two work colleagues as I had just started on a couch to 5k running program and hurt my back on the third week of the program, they suggested that it might be my shoes. On entering the shop I was met by Jo and the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. My gait analysis was carried out and I was offered several different makes of shoes suitable for my needs. So if you have just started running like me and are a complete beginner don't be put off going into Love Running as you will be treated really well and offered lots of advice. Been out today for my first run in my new shoes and the difference is unbelievable. I would highly recommend this shop.

Signed up to the great south run. As a non runner with shin splints. I was told to go to the love running store in Newport. I met Jo. Spent some time on the running machine to find suitable trainers. Got shorts and a top. 3 months later no shin splints and running 10 miles. Thanks Jo :-) G S run here we come :-D Cheers again Jon

A very good running shop. The owners are very knowledgeable and very helpful. Great selection of shoes and clothing. They also have a treadmill which you can try the shoes on. Would highly recommend!
