Lee our instructor was really friendly and had us both standing up on the boards in no time. All the equipment needed was provided and the boards are sturdy and high quality. It was my first time on a paddle board, and I was a little nervous because I'm not a strong swimmer, but Lee and Shona we're brilliant at showing me what to do and making me feel safe. It's such a lovely way to see Norwich from a different perspective and the feeling of gently paddling along the river makes me want to go back again and again!
M. C.This was my first attempt at paddleboarding so I was a tad apprehensive but Lee soon put me at ease by listening to my concerns and talking to me in a kind, friendly manner. Once we were on the water he explained and demonstrated all the manouvers we needed to do in the same manner. This made everything seem easy for a novice like myself.
Booking the lesson was simple. I booked mine over the phone but it can be done online. The necessary paperwork was emailed to me, I signed it and sent it back. Job done in a matter of minutes. The equipment we used was clean and obviously well maintained. We all had to wear a bouyancy jacket. Lee was willing to answer any questions while we were on the water. It is obvious he is very passionate about paddleboarding. I think some of that passion may have rubbed off on me. This was my first time but it won't be my last. I will use Norfolk Paddle Boards again because of their professionalism, attitude and very good overall customer service.
T. W.I joined an ‘All the Gear, no idea’ session last Sunday morning and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It was well organized, safe and informative. The instructors were friendly, helpful and experienced. They were also very relaxed which made the whole experience an enjoyable one. I would recommend this lesson to anyone starting out with their own gear, as it was good value and above all fun.
