A friend recommended to get my cricket bat knocked in from this place. I must say I was not disappointed at all. Great services at a reasonable prices. Had a look around and noticed they have a excellent range of cricket bats (the Newbury bat looked amazing). Staff are very polite and they all seem to have a passion for what they do. After doing a significant amount of research on which stick would be suitable for me and the position I play.....I was still struggling to decide. After narrowing it down to a few different shops I took a trip to Mad Dog based on reviews, and they have an area to try out the sticks (crucial). As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly family environment. I was able to discuss what I was looking for with Jake, they know their stuff regarding the make up of the various sticks and I was given a few to try. After been offered a brew (winner!) I was left to try the sticks out for a considerable time, never been rushed. A fantastic shop with knowledgable staff and a friendly environment; could not recommend these guys enough!!!!

Came from an hour and a half drive away to Mad Dog and the experience was phenomenal, great customer service by Steve who's passion and knowledge is clear to see. Large variety of cricket bats for reasonable prices, and we felt welcome at the shop. Would highly recommend to any cricketer seeking new equipment.

Went to Mad Dog Sports after a complete waste of time at Gunn & Moore. 90 minute journey from Cheshire. The shop and staff (Steve) in particular were superb. Great knowledge and experience and was clearly demonstrated in their customer service approach. Could not recommend them enough.

I great sports shop. Very geared to team sports, with a great choice of footwear, clothing and equipment. Oh yes, and SERVICE! Here you get grown-ups who know what they are doing and who give good advice. Not quite the scale of what Redmayne's used to be, but every bit the knowledge, range and ethos. Highly recommended.

This shop is brilliant -try before you buy - in shop test hitting range - sports kit is so individual to the sportsman ! Visit test then buy from these guys.took my son to try 10 hockey sticks before selecting the ideal one !
